Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

one of those places I only go to when they have the yearly special, right now buy one take one home, flavors are good, but I love the type of Italian seasoning where 2 days later im still belching the seasonings. I really like old world, olive garden is great place for just alright Italian but not the slap your granny and let her smell your breath. Heres when I go to Olive garden, 1. all you can eat pasta bowl, 2, the buy one take one home for 12.95 great deal, and lastly when the pants start to get snug and I have the all you can eat soup/ salad for early dinner

I've never been to an Olive Garden before. People say you never forget your first time. And just like when I lost my virginity, my meal was soggy, flaccid, and wholly unsatisfying. The second star is for our waitress who gritted her teeth and managed to keep us flush with breadsticks. She's one of the real heroes. We had our "food" boxed but forgot it on the way out. Never again.

The customer service and wait-staff is exceptional. Now I hadn't been to an Olive Garden in about 10 years because I can usually find better and more authentic Italian food than this, but in Billings the Olive Garden is actually one of the better spots to eat at. The portions of food they give are overwhelming and if we go back I would get the 3 appetizer deal and share an entree since it comes with never-ending salad and breadsticks. After appetizers, bread, and salad I was too full to eat the main course and had it boxed up to go. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent and had good taste to them...much better than I expected. Fried calamari was good too, not greasy or disgusting and breaded well, but could have been seasoned better. I had the portabello stuffed ravioli and from the one bite I had it was just ok. Not bad but nothing special to write home about and could easily have been from the frozen section of Costco. My beau had the alfredo pasta and it was kind of gross so I wouldn't recommend it. Sauce tasted like canned stuff and it wasn't appealing at all. Overall, EXCELLENT service. Our waitress kept our glasses full, bread basket brimming, checked-in on our meals, boxed our to-go's and was just so friendly and sweet. The food actually isn't bad (if you don't get the alfredo pasta) and the portions are huge enough to share. Kind of pricey though, for two people with the appetizer deal and two entrees it came out to over $60. If we'd shared the three appetizers (12 mushrooms and a basket of calamari), never-ending salad and bread, with one entree it would've been about $20 less. More practical.

Stopped in for soup and salad which were both delicious. Service was not too good though. Our waiter hardly checked on us and then when he did he refilled my husbands drink with the wrong thing.

It first smelled like an old rag when I walked in the doors, but once I walked into the dining area it smelled like delectable Italian food. Our waiter was very courteous and made sure our soup bowls were constantly filled. The chicken and ginnoci soup was hot and creamy and had plenty of chicken and dumplings! We didn't feel rushed in any sort of way at all.

I love this restaurant. Simple fare. I had salad, bread and some Chianti. My wife had the Flatbread and salad. Our waitress was friendly and cheerful.

Olive Garden, always a good choice in my book. Some how they revamped the entire restaurant chain and tightened up on any flaws they used to have. Our server was awesome, she came by only when we needed her and never bothered us too much. She kept our drinks full and ensured we had an enjoyable time. The food was flavorful and delicious and I can never get enough of their breadsticks. Keep this place on your regular visit list.

What you expect is what you get here. Fast, tasty "drive through italian." Simple but tasty, a nice change on a long car trip across the country.

There's a reason this particular Olive Garden is the busiest restaurant in Montana. it's well managed. If you have a complaint about anything, just ask for a manager and they'll make it right. We eat here quite a bit because of our children who really like the kids menu. it's not the greatest Italian food on the planet quite obviously, however it's consistent. We've all found our favorites and we stick to them. What we really enjoy are the wait staff. They're good. About as good as they get. I travel for a living and eat here at least 30 times per year and I have yet to issue with someone that could not be resolved. yes, I've had problems here. you can't eat at a restaurant this often and not run into an issue of some kind or another. This is true with ANY business. it's how a business responds to an issue that counts in my book. That's where these guys have shined. No, I haven't had a lot of issues over the past 10 years, however I have had a few and they were all taken care of in a professional manner. If you like Olive Garden food, you'll enjoy this restaurant and will not be disappointed. Again, it's the busiest restaurant in the entire state and does not take reservations. Arrive early or don't even bother. I get there at 5pm and when we leave, i see dozens of folks outside waiting to get in.

I should have looked at yelp before driving hungrily into Billings, MT. But of all of the restaurants with highway signs pointing to them, we could have done worse. The service was friendly and fast. And it doesn't feel nearly as depressing as some of them feel. The food - well, it's Olive Garden and it lived up to all expectations. And sometimes you want that comfort when you're on the road. And on a Monday night in August, you will still need to wait for a table.

I always love going here with my family or BF! The staff is always pleasent and the food is great! My favorite thing is the Steak Goegonzola (they just put it back on the menu! Winning!) Bring a light sweater just in case, it can get a little chilly.

Good food, service, and atmosphere! :)

It was pretty good and it's just like any other Olive Garden. The service was pretty good as well...

Had lunch there with the wife, got there at 1230pm and we were seated immediately. Unfortunately, there was a couple of young women with screaming, out of control children next to us so we asked to be moved to a quieter table. Once we got resettled, our order was taken quickly. The appetizers came out within ten minutes, followed by the main course. Everything was very good! The service was excellent as well even though it was very crowded and very busy!

As much as i hate to eat at chains this was the perfect place for my wife and I to stop on our road trip. As with all Olive Gardens it was reasonably priced, quick and delicious. The food sizes are large so go hungry. Great for a quick stop for lunch or dinner. We were in and out in under one hour.

Just can't beat the Soup-Salad-and-Breadstick deal. I'm totally sold. They seem to have gotten the salad sizes down to a science at this location in Billings. Love that you can pick from three soup choices and change your mind whenever you want to. Love that they always ask if you want cheese on your soup and/or on your salad. Like the raspberry lemonaide, too.

I do like this restaurant-we usually get great service and the food is always good. Get there early, because they get busy quick!

Waitress didn't know what the specials were that the hostess told us about. We were unable to change the toppings on our sandwiches. Ended up with pizza that was decent.
