We ended up at Montana Jacks after several places we read about in a tourist magazine turned out to be closed. We decided to look through some options that came up on our GPS and we randomly picked this place. What a great find. The food was good, the prices reasonable - but it was the service that really stood out for us. Our server, Chad, was great! I am a vegetarian (not much on the menu for us non-meat eaters), but my husband LOVED his steak. This place gets a big thumbs up from us.

Great food for breakfast, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Love the hashbrowns, with the option to get more hashbrowns for free. I really enjoyed the current special of banana bread french toast.

The food here is decent. The chicken tenders are not your run of the mill food service flat as pancakes tenders, they are big, fat, and juicy. The Santa Fe wrap is good and the burgers are huge. They have some of the best pancakes. Service is usually pretty decent. No real complaints and food is better than average. Oh we also really like the fried mushrooms, a half order is huge.

I hope I have enough energy to even finish typing this review. My husband and I ended up here because we both lack in wanting to cook dinner tonight. I don't even know where to begin. Christy was our waitress, she was very nice and welcoming. Alright, so I ordered my rumchata and rootbeer to drink. And I ordered the Santa fe chicken penne pasta something under their specialities. $15.99. I was very disappointed in the portion size, I thought for the price of the dish that there should have been more to it. However, I found myself struggling to finish the dish. It was nice because I didn't feel like I needed to wash it down, it was perfectly seasoned, taste, heat, beautiful beautiful dish. I thought maybe it should have came with a bread stick?? Nah. It doesn't need it. Seriously. I cannot move and I'm so glad there wasn't a bread as a filler. BECAUSE YOU DON'T NEED IT. Good lord. It was amazing. My husband got the Philly something... which was gone in a matter of seconds. He gave it a thumbs up and walked out looking 6 months pregnant with our food child. $45 later on a bill normally I'd be like "wtf". Nope. I'm shutting my mouth because I'll be more than happy to pay that again, and....again.

Went on a Sunday morning. Packed as usual. Only a 15 minute wait. Not bad. Two of us had the breakfast buffet which was great as always. Service was good. Wife ordered a Cobb salad and it was more like a Ceaser side salad. Cook also forgot the small o' rings.

The food at this little restaurant is good. It has a pretty decent salad bar, and the staff is friendly. It's a little off the beaten path, but sometines these places turn out to be worth your time. It's not flashy by any means. You just get a good meal with good service at a good price. Simple.

We ended up here after we had a horrible breakfast the other day at a different restaurant. Our breakfast was really good and their blueberry pancakes are made with real blueberries! Food was hot and very good.

Just had the best prime rib in town. Wow. That's all I'm saying. Good job Montana jacks.

Okay. So. We were visiting over Christmas break and I'll start by saying we never eat at the same place twice on vacation to try as many places as possible... Except for Montana Jacks. It was so good we had to go back! My favorite part (besides the great food) was the FREE all you can eat french fries/hash browns with your meal. I'm from Texas where everything is supposed to be bigger, but I've never seen such an option on any menu before! I can't wait to eat here again on our next visit :)

I had prime rib and the salad bar. The salad bar is fresh and tasty. I have also had excellent shrimp in here. I would recommend you check this place out.

Excellent food and great service! Food did take a little while to arrive but when it did it was fresh and hot - can't complain about that!

Montana Jacks was the caterer for our daughters wedding. They are located in Billings but brought their services up to Red Lodge, 60 miles away. They worked with us in designing a menu and services within our budget. They were able to provide photos of their past events, which was reassuring to me, as well, they provided a taste test night of the entire menu six months prior. They worked with with the event facility, ahead of time and the night of the event, in making sure everything went off without a hitch. The night of our wedding they had two other events, and our wedding went off very well. Well done, Montana Jacks!
