The service is better than the food, which is why I gave it three stars. I ordered the Cobb Salad. The salad was a big portion, and I liked the dressing, but the chicken had no flavor. If I could go back in time, I might buy the house salad there without the meat.

I am going to rate this as two stars for the food. I would give it four stars for the staff and the ambiance, if you are looking for a biker style Bar/restaurant. As far as the food goes, it was pretty much flavorless. The best things were the french fries and the bacon on my burger. The burger itself was very bland and over cooked. My wife had the fish and chips and it was very underwhelming. The fish was bland and the waffle fries were undercooked and not seasoned. Overall, if you are out for a long ride on your Harley and need to fill up a little, stop by. If you are looking for a great meal, try someplace else, but not The Boiling Point down the street. Try the Waffle House down the street.

I would have scored this more, as the food was great. The service was pretty slow but overall we would definitely come back!!

Okay let me set the tone for you regarding this review. I never expected this place to be a 5-star restaurant. The concept of this restaurant is a filling station for motorcyclist on their stops. We riders are typically only looking for, gas, a good burger, and a cold beer (or 2 or 3) while we are riding. That's what I expected when I came here. I had a steak philly sandwich, french fries (which were really good) and a couple of cold beers and all were good. I would definitely eat here again. Now, it's definitely not the cleanest place you will visit (most filling stations aren't) and the atmosphere is pretty rowdy (that's how us bikers are) and I can think of other restaurants that are a lot cleaner and have better food but I don't think that this place is trying to compete with your local upscale gourmet restaurants. I liked it and would recommend it however don't visit thinking you are going to be blown away by the service, atmosphere, and food. It's good for what it is themed for- a "Fillin Station Grille".

They got a bunch of automobile memorabilia all over the place. Going for the filling station look... Naturally. I had the pinto burger last time and sweet potato fries. Nothing to chirp about but not bad. Today I'm going for the French dip, fingers crossed. Right next to HD so you can eat and then look at bikes or the other way around. Affordable and usually pretty mellow around the lunch hour. If you're in the area it wouldn't kill ya to swing by. The staff seems nice. More of an eclectic stop than a have to see.

American cuisine. I tried the catfish egg rolls. I've never had them. I must admit. They were really good! I also had the Angus burger made my way. It was very good. I was too full for dessert. This place has a full bar, the wait staff is friendly and fun.

A different person brings out your food and it's always wrong. We stood at the bar a long time waiting to order a beer and were intentionally overlooked. Eat outside if you don't want lung cancer from the neverending cigarette smoke. Food is mediocre.

Bike night is fun... live music... interesting people-watching opportunities, but eat before you come. The quality of food is pretty bad and very expensive for what you get. I ordered a Shrimp Po Boy... and the shrimp were tiny little salad shrimp that had been blackened somehow. There was no sauce (the description says there is remoulade sauce). I did, however, like the shoestring fries and ate most of mine. The service was OK. The girls were pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait an outrageous amount of time. Lots of bikers "wearing colors" and I wouldn't stay too late as the possibility of trouble as the drinks keep flowing increases.

I have been here several times to see bands play and hang out and before concerts at the Landers Center. They have a nice patio out back and during the right season it is great for live music and hanging out. The inside is pretty big and fairly well kept. The outside area has an upstairs with a bar. I've never eaten here so I can't speak about the food. All in all, every time I have been, it's been a nice time.

BBQ sauce is home made and so sweet. big pulled pork sandwich, am Pl e serving. Fred green bean appetizer quite small with a too big price. Next to Harley dealership

What a place, dirty sticky tables sat at a table for 40 min watching staff walk by us and dirty tables. No one ever said a word to us. Walked out won't be back.

After waiting a hour and half to sit, and still didn't get a seat, we left. During the wait I over heard that the restaurant only had 3 servers to cover a packed house waiting to go to a concert. I heard that they are never prepared for when The Landers Center is having a concert. Don't plan on eating here before a concert.

Service is bad most every time I have been. Food has been ok, but I servers at bar or tables act like i have crashed a private party that I was not invited to. The service has been the same whether it has been crowded and super busy or almost empty. i want to like the place because because it is in a convienent location so I have given it more chances than I probably typically would, but I think I am done after my last visit.

Decided to give this a try on my daughters last night home before going back to college. Horrible.. Arrived at 5:45 & was seated right away. Table was dirty, hostess wiped it off with a paper towel. Not exactly clean. Speaking of the hostess, rude is a good word. Never spoke, never smiled. We sat for 20 mins and were never waited on, no drink order, not even be with you in a minute even though 4 servers passed our table several times. My daughter went to the hostess and asked where our server was, her response was "I dunno". "Can you let them know we've been waiting for 20 mins"? "Uhh sure", she said. Waited additional 10 mins, still no server came but passed by our table multiple times. Tried getting their attention but was ignored. Finally just left & went somewhere else. I will never go here again

The food can go fly a kite..not a bad place to have a cold beer though..it seems as if the owner has given up on improving the joint..oh well

Went in an hour and 15 min before a Riverkings game and asked if we would have enough time to be served and eat before the game. They said yes and so we decided to try it. In short, the service was slow and neglectful of us. If something goes wrong in the kitchen and our food is delayed the waiter should come out and let us know. However, after our order was taken we never saw our waiter again. Our food (burgers, sandwiches, and salad) came out over 45 min after we order and only after we complained to the manager that we were going to cancel our order and leave. The food was ok, but the salad had wilted gross lettuce in it. If we hadn't already had waited for the food for so long I would have sent it back. The fries were probably the best item. As we were leaving the manangement didn't try to apologize, but instead wanted to spend time complementing my 4 yr old daughter on how cute she looked. By that time we were late for the game and I was fed up. Needless to say, we won't be visiting again.

This review is more for the atmosphere as a bar and Shelly being very helpful and nice. Perfectly good place to have some drinks and watch some games. The wings I had were good and I would get them again. However the rest of the food we have had on a few trips has not been very good. Cheese plate, burgers(overcooked, etc). Mostly a burger-fried food kinda menu.

One on get well rd has horrible service! Have to wait well over an hour to get food every time!!!

Overpriced menu and very few choices! If you don't eat seafood you'll definitely be disappointed with your options! Service was fine for a week night. There are much better options out there for the money. Won't waste my time and money on this place again...

Went there for the Gumbo Cookoff recently. 4 of us sat outside just before 1. Note, the events started at Noon and ran till 5. We ordered: sliders, gumbo, and crawfish. Long story short, after wating 1/2 hr, seeing our waitress once, another waitress asked if we needed anything. Yes, our food would be good. Then, the other waitress showed up - 'Who ordered the crawfish'. I did. We're about out, do you want what we have left or order something else. (Well, let me think, 1/2 hrs waiting, and you tell me now. How much is left, 80% of what's on a normal platter??)OK, just the crawfish. Wrong answer, there was maybe 1/2 lb, all mushy. I also ordered a cup of gumbo to go. Waitress showed up later, do we need anything, yes, the check and the bowl of gumbo you did not bring us. She brings the check, is there anything else you need.... well the bowl of gumbo I've asked for many times would be nice. Crawfish was not on ticket or would not have paid for that disaster. Note, if you have gumbo contest, advertise crawfish, you might want to have enough so you don't run out 1 hr into it, ESPECIALLY since hardly anyone else was eating them. I really liked the way it's laid out, but will never return. What a disaster. ps, outside bar - guy in front ordered a Coors, waitress - 'Do you want it in a can, only $1 special vs $3 bottle, he said yes, he got it. Waitress had to leave quickly. I step up, Coors light in a can - Waitress, we only have it in a bottle, REALLY? Unbelievable.

Decent service but an over price menu.

Something has happened here. This was once one of my favorite places to go eat. It has really gone down hill and the prices have not followed. I hope we just went on an off night, I was very dissapointed.

I have had dinner at The Fillin Station several times now and thought I would give it a last chance to see if the food had improved since it is located right down the street from work. It has not. I ordered an Oyster Po-Boy. What I got was a bun with little crunchy bits of salty fried batter in between with tiny bits of oyster making an occasional appearance. The burger I have had here in the past was mediocre. I will not make the mistake of eating here again. It is a good place to get a beer and a cheese plate if you happen to be stopping by the Harley Davidson dealership next door.
