Imagine a chain of bars that really want to be upscale. Now make the food average and a little pricey for the level of quality presented. You have Bar Louie. We were there at lunch time on a Sunday. The adobo shrimp skewers were tiny shrimp served over undressed greens. Color me unimpressed. The blackberry, orange, & brie salad probably should have been good, but was only 'meh'. Not-so-fresh berries killed that one. The Sesame Tuna sandwich was pretty darn good and I'd have it again. Unfortunately, nothing made me think we'd ever go back, given the large number of better options in the area.

If we could give half stars I would give bar Louie 3 1/2 stars. We sat outside patio on a gorgeous Wednesday midday - arrived about 11:20. Half-full, but by noon outside was full. I had the calamari which was excellent. It was tempura batter as opposed to heavier breaded better. Very delicate and light. The other appetizer we had was the chips and salsa (kids) which were good. Comes with 3 sauces: guac, queso, salsa. All were good with just the right amount of kick. For entrée had the Ahi tuna sandwich seared. Very good, but I am big seared Ahi fan. Thick cut. Not particularly flavorful in terms of spices but it was a sandwich so that comes to be expected. Kids had burgers and Mac & cheese. ($9). All big and tasty. Wife had a pear, blue cheese, walnut? Salad in vinaigrette dressing. Fantastic - The best dish on our table. Service was fine, especially for a busy lunch. All-in-all, a little pricey, but a good experience. I'm one of those people who don't hold it against against a place just because it is part of a successful chain, and will certainly go back.

While I tend to avoid pricey bars (because if I'm drinkin 1, I'm drinkin 5), I cannot stay away from this place's martini's. Just keep my tab open, please.

What can I say about Bar Louie? The ham handed attempt at flatbread pizza with the syrupy glaze and assembly line crust was in a word, terrible. On a positive note, the constant bass drowned out the sounds of the kitchen crew opening canned, flavorless foods.

Every once in awhile, I will come across a place that seems to revel in averageness and mediocrity. Bar Louie IS that place for me in Kirkwood. There is absolutely nothing that stands out for me. I've been for dinner, for drinks, with large groups, with small, with all guys, with guys and gals... and every time we seem to get pretty crappy service and okay food. The beers are usually brought out quickly, and the food is pretty solid for bar fare. Usually, though, the waitress or waiters mind will wander and we'll end up being forgotten for a good thirty minutes somewhere throughout the night. This isn't a big deal, but there is no reason for me to get excited enough to overlook certain flaws. It also isn't a big enough reason for me to subtract more stars. Alas, Bar Louie struggles and wrestles with it's own averageness, with nothing to seperate from the pack. It is exactly what you will probably imagine in your head if you try to imagine a relatively average to below average bar, with young aloof waitresses, greasy food, decent prices on a Bud Light draft and nothing to differentiate it from any of the other bars in the area. It's still an okay place to go if you're with your friends though.

I was pleasantly surprised! I met up with my brother here for dinner and a catch up time. I got there and no one greeted me which is kinda off putting. Maybe I didn't see a sign that said seat yourself, either way, finally the bartender told me to sit wherever (it was pretty empty). I ordered the chicken nachos and they were REALLY good. I was super surprised. I figured they'd just be ok, but, these were tasty! I ate so much and only finished half! hello lunch. HAHA. the waitress paid attention to our needs and checked in reguarly. Overall decent experience.

I was trying to go to Bar Louie today with some friends, they gave me a birthday card to get 8 dollars off any entree. It expired two days ago, so I called ahead to make sure they would still honor it before I drove there, totally thinking that it wouldn't be a problem. I manage a restaurant and would definitely honor any card we gave out unless a ridiculous amount of time had passed. They on the other hand said they would not honor it, really disappointing! I am totally baffled by this, and they lost out on whatever my friends would have ordered. I am extremely aggravated by this and will never go there again, a birthday slap in the face!

Stick to happy hour with Bar Louie. Went for dinner last Thursday night. Slow service, dry burger, cold and over-seasoned tots (sitting too close to the kitchen where I could see the large bowl of tots sitting there that the servers use to fill the orders....disappointing!). However, they do now have Michelob Golden Light on tap....that was a definite plus.

GREAT happy hour specials, gets crowded inside but usually lots of room inside at dinner time. I've eaten here ten times or so and the food is always good and pretty cheap. A sure thing especially at happy hour...I think it's 4-7 M-F.

This place is your typical bar in a swanky area of Saint Louis. I usually like meeting my girlfriends up here for a cocktail or two or coming here with a crowd of friends. The bar itself is nothing too special considering this is a chain but honestly, the food and the menu at this joint is not to shabby. Their mac and cheese or their hummus plate is pretty darn good!

A little pricey but a good selection of beers on tap and great service.

Waitress- airhead. She forgot our order, spilled beer in my friends lap and as she was asking us if we wanted another round, some guy came up to her and she just started talking to him as my friend was in the middle of ordering. Not only did she just ignore what my friend was asking for-- she immediatly walked away after this giggly conversation with dude A, about 15 min later came back to our table all giggly and said "oops wernt you guys ordering?" REALLY!!! enough said

I wanted to enjoy my Columbus Day outside (don't be jealous but yes, I do get the holiday paid off) so after a run my friend and I decided to sit on the patio at Bar Louie for lunch. The place was pretty much dead, so there were only two servers inside. There were only a few people on the patio, so we sat down and waited for someone to come to our table (the sign inside told us to seat ourselves). Meanwhile, ten minutes later, we were never helped, and I was getting hungry! I finally went inside and asked the bartender if we could sit outside so that she knew we were out there. Once our waitress came out, we ordered the brie and raspberry salad (me) and the trio nachos (my friend) and woodchuck beers (for both, of course!). The salad was around $9, so I figured it would be large enough for my meal, but it wasn't. It looked more like a side salad than lunch meal, or maybe I'm just used to 54th Street's amazingly large salads for the same price. The salad was good, the brie was a good compliment to the fruit and the dressing had a nice flavor to it. My friend enjoyed her nachos (and the chips were good plain, I had to steal quite a few since I was still hungry!) and our waitress brought out more chips when we ran out. The highlight of the meal was the Woodchuck cider beer. It tasted wonderful and was the perfect temperature, even came out in a frosted glass. Kudos to places who use frosted glasses! If I'm ever in the area and want a casual place to have a drink or appetizer, I'll come back, but not for dinner or a nice lunch. I think it is more geared to drinks and bar food anyways.

This Review is Specific for Brunch A year ago this review would have been exactly the opposite, 5 stars. Last time we went here for brunch they had bottomless memosa's, they gave everyone a bag of donut holes with chocolate or rasberry dipping sauce and a bigger menu. They know have brunch everyday, and the remainder of the menu is available as well. The brunch specific dishes didn't sound all that appetizing so I went with some of my favorite things from the regular menu. One person in our party did get the breakfast burrito which was pretty big and looked pretty good. The dishes coming out were pretty large. The only reason this got two stars was because the price was reasonable. To the Bar Louie management: you want to be a real brunch spot - bring back the memosa's and donut holes.

I like bar Louie! Not love, but definitely like. It's a good place to celebrate the weekend (or mid-week) with some food and drinks whilst enjoying the company of your friends. Not "super trendy," there's a lot of different people who seem to frequent here. They have a full bar as well as a cute martini menu. The drinks are strong and the beer selection, though not vast, is interesting. I haven't had a lot of their food, but they do appetizers well! The pretzels are fabulous as is the dip trio. Service is prompt and on very select occasions, they have live music. Not extremely unique, but can be a good night!

Biggest let down ever on the biggest bar night in STL. It seems like whenever I walk into this place it is a big disappointment. I was told that this would be the place for the night last Wednesday. Aside from the dreadful weather I thought getting there about 6:30pm to start my Thanksgiving bender would be early enough. After a $25 cab ride (mistake number 1) to the location I approach the inside and flag down a waitress to see if I can put my name down on a list for a table since I'll be having about 8-10 people following me here shortly. She explains that's not how it works and that I'm on my own basically to fight the rest of the yuppie bar crowd for a spot. Dumped next into the bar area from the door I'm immediately swarmed by bald 40-somethings in bad sweaters and miller lites trying to reclaim their college livers while their trophy wives and 20 something kids look on at how much of a fool dad looks around all his friends. If I had an alarm for "GET OUT NOW" it was blaring as loud as the tornado sirens were later in the evening (mistake number 2). Bartender sees me, immediately takes my order, grab my drink and start scouting tables large or large enough for my fellow drinkers. Spot a table, center of the restaurant, beautiful TV with the Blues game just about to start ANNNNND reserved. Ok, I can't put my name down but someone was able to call ahead and reserve a table? I thought I put on my best Kirkwood resident impression but apparently not. Drink is halfway down, time to head back to the bar. 3 or 4 guys, not bar backs but guys who apparently work there stand at the receiving area chatting as I try to flag down the bartender again. One of the "guys" takes my drink order and gets it for me. Wow it is weak and a diet, not looking good. So looking for tables has now turned into who is finishing their meals? Found two prospects right next to the bathrooms, great! Room to stand, can still watch the game, friends still haven't arrived and I can grab a table before they get here and be a hero and hopefully salvage some of this terrible evening. Waiting patiently for the the first table I spot a blond who is on to me. Standing at the edge of the table as the couple moves to get up I swear I've never seen someone run as fast as this woman did in heels to cut me off. That's ok, I got the next one which, was probably the better option towards the back since there was lighter traffic around there. Friends arrive, waitress was epic and took great care of our group the rest of the night we were there. Booze was flowing, life was good. Gets to be about 8:00pm when I was told that group for the reserved table was supposed to arrive and 8:30 rolls around and they finally show up. Thought it was funny because this group was all under 21 and the waitress who was serving them was none to pleased to be serving iced tee and water all night. I was a bit annoyed I lost prime bar position for a booth too small for my group. All in all, this place is way too crowded and small to handle the amount of people that were in there that night. Also taking names for tables and having patrons have to fight for one themselves is kind of silly.

Lov love luv this place!! Kick ass atmosphere, funny attractive bartenders and servers. I have been to this joint like 20 times for drinks and or apps at all times of the day and night. Good beer selection and an adequate pour on cocktails, as for the food im a lil skewed cause I have only ever ordered the loaded tots every time. (Like 12 times and yes I share, they are HUGE and the perfect flash back to grade school, with the volume turned up to 11)

This place is ALWAYS packed, but that does say something when it comes to judging whether Bar Louis is good or not. The drinks are good, the food is good, and the prices are average. However, since it is always so crowded the service can be slow and it just gets annoying always being shoulder to shoulder with the other customers and fighting for tables. Their patio is my favorite part, and it is HUGE! Yet again, good luck getting a table out there unless you get there early. Their happy hour specials also rock my socks, so judging by my comments above, I obviously like it here. I do wish it would magically get less crowded when I arrive, although the likely hood of that happening is quite slim. The verdict - I should just get over it and keeping on happy hourin' it up at Bar Louie!

Love this place, especially for Happy Hour (5-7:00). They have great specials ($3 drafts, $5 cocktails, half-priced apps, and more). The patio is great on a nice day, but it fills quickly so try to get there earlyish if possible. The inside has a bunch of nice TV's so it would make for a great place to catch a game. The menu is a notch above standard bar food and offers a little more variety than you may expect. Service can sometimes be a bit slow during HH since it's so busy there, but it's not bad.

It's Friday night, & initially I was going to eat at La Salsa. But, when I got there, the kitchen was closed at La Salsa. So, I ended up eating at Bar Louie. My drink came a bit slow, but afterwards the service was a bit faster. The food was good. I had the shrimp po'boy. It didn't taste what I had at my fave restaurant in Galveston, but it was all right. The bread was wonderful! The fresh fruit was delish! It had bananas, strawberries & honeydew melon & wasn't the usual fresh fruit like I had before. The side relish was a bit too spicy for my taste. There was variety on the menu. I liked the fact that they have several non-alcoholic drinks for people who don't drink. Overall, I was satisfied. The decor is typical barish with the dark wood paneling. I would sooo come back here to try different things & the non-alcoholic drinks.

Went here last night for dinner with neighbors. The service was below par - we had to ask over and over again for the extra items we wanted. Our drink order took forever - and she forgot that we ordered appetizers. I personally really like the food, and the selection for when I go with family. The patio is dog-friendly which always has me coming back, it is for sure not the service. My favorite things to eat at the Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, so good! And their Buffalo Sauce Calamari I think it pretty lip smacking good! If you are looking for good service and friendly workers, make sure to go to the location in the CWE.

WORST dining experience I've ever had! The food wasn't as good as the price suggests. The patio has way to many tables. Not one server seems to have a clue what they are doing! The hostess was rude and took almost 10 minutes to get enough chairs for my group! One of our friends was left leaning up against a planter box while we waited for a chair. When we asked for a chair for the second time she said "they are busy." If you don't have enough chairs at the table... don't seat it! We came in contact with 5 seperate staff members during our meal, all very rude and scarce. The only helpful person was the bus boy! Thanks to him, dinner wasn't a TOTAL disaster. I will never go back to this location.....

I'm pretty much on the bandwagon with most of the other yelpers on my opinion of this Bar Louie location: just okay. I frequented the Oak Park, IL location when I lived in Chicago and enjoyed it. This location was entirely too crowded when I went with my mom on a Weds night (I later learned here on Yelp that it's $5 bucket night which may have something to do with that). My mom ordered a white wine spritzer, and what she got was a glass of wine on ice with a lime wedge, no seltzer. Her salad was under dressed and we had to ask for more dressing, which wasn't easy since it was so crowded. My food was good - I had the Blue Louie burger which is my go-to burger when I'm there. It was tasty as always and the fries were good. Who knows, it may be a better place other nights of the week, but it was definitely too crowded for eating dinner. I miss my Chicagoland location!

I really wanted to give this place a better rating. I really like the atmosphere. It has a good mix of people, from college-age to young professionals to 50-somethings. There is also a really nice patio. There is plenty of seating. It did take us about an hour to get a table outside, but it was a Friday night at about 9 p.m., so that's to be expected. It is next to train tracks, so it can be a little noisy when a train passes through. The reason I couldn't give Bar Louie a better rating is because our service was simply awful. Our waitress was barely visible, and when you finally ordered a drink, you could expect to wait at least 15 to 20 minutes to actually get it (even though the bar inside was about 10 steps from where we were sitting). My friend was just drinking water, and she never found the time to refill his glass. We asked her to remove our food plates, and she never did, even though we sat there for over an hour. It wasn't even very busy by the time we were eating and drinking. This was only my experience...the other outside waitress looked like she was doing a good job. She was actually conversing with her tables and bringing them drinks! Also, if you are sitting outside, try to not sit right next the the building. The speakers are there, and it was pretty loud and hard to hear the person next to you talking.

This was one of my more likely choice between salsa class and work. I usually would get a glass of Malbec and bruschetta. (It comes in a huge martini looking bowl.) Their food is decent and I haven't had horrible service here. Prices are decent too. This place is usually packed from people ages 20-50 and a good happy hour place to be. Their patio is nice at least until a train comes by.

It's a chain in trendy downtown Kirkwood, located a stone's throw away from the train station! I met a friend here and I hadn't seen her for a long time. We are talking years. We planned to eat and catch up. We had a hovering server. He wasn't very patient waiting for our order and after the food was delivered, it was obvious that he wanted us to vacate our booth. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and there were plenty of empty seats! The food wasn't anything great. Nothing to make me go back there.

I don't normally frequent this establishment but it was a central location to meet with all my sisters for a dinner together. It was a beautiful night so we figured their patio would be great. The patio itself was fine, nothing special, but the service was basically terrible. We sat there for 20 minutes before anyone came to get our drink order....then another 20 to bring us our drinks. I'm normally a pretty patient customer but this was ridiculous. The patio was busy but not enough for this to be excused. The food took another 30-40 (which was fine and to be expected given the difficulty they had bringing our drinks...). The food actually wasn't bad. Nothing spectacular but enjoyable enough. Won't come back on my own accord. Word of advice: don't get the skinny margarita...it was AWFUL. I'm not one to not finish my drink and I left more than 3/4 of it on the table after 3 hours...

Carry out success story! My husband and friend brought home some carry out for me so graciously after I had a late night out the night before. I ordered the grilled veggie wrap minus mayo and the rice/beans for my side. I wanted to be somewhat healthy, but I needed carbs to help my destroyed stomach. Well, go me because I ordered well. The wrap was loaded with fresh veggies, humus, and a little cheese. The rice and beans had a terrific flavor. I will definitely get at least two meals out of this, maybe three. The wrap was huge! I'm glad I stayed away from the fried junk and tried something new!

The atmosphere at this place is pretty good. There's a good mix of people in the bar, ages and types alike. The music isn't bad, and there's a ton of outside seating. I also enjoy the food. It's cheap cheap cheap and you get plenty for the price. It's not the best food in St. Louis, but if you are here for the happy hour, it's easily one of the best deals. I just can't get over how uncomfortably jammed this place always is. I have tried to go here on a Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Monday...it's the same story. Doesn't anyone in Kirkwood work? It's always jammed. I have never been able to go right in and sit down, on nice nights I have never gotten an outside table, and quite frankly, I often just leave and hit up one of the many other bars in Kirkwood when this place is like this. Also, and I'm sure this is a result of the droves of people coming to this place, but the service is abominable. I have never waited so long just to get water. So, to summarize: the bar is good, the food is good, the place is over crowded most of the time and the service is sub par.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday and was let down that they got rid of the bottomless mimosa's and the doughnuts. Our experience was still good overall, but the brunch menu could use more selections. The service was good overall.

Been here twice now. First time we went w/ a large group of 9 for a birthday. I got the salmon w/ black beans and rice. Not bad, but not that great either, small amount of fish and a lot of rice. We did LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the loaded tator tots....great as an appetizer to share. Next trip I got the Steak Quesidilla and it was very yummy! My friend got the grilled cheese w/ bacon....also very tasty. There is a rather large drink menu so that was fun, and I got an AWESOME Cosmo, but later when I ordered it again it tasted totally different. Maybe I'll never know what I got the first time. :( They do have a large patio here w/ a band (not sure which nights) but if you think you're getting a seat out there w/ music, you better come early. We put our names on the list and then got a table inside and ate....by the time we were finished they called our name so we went out and had another drink. We did learn that you can also bring your own chairs and hang out on their patio and get drinks or whatever, so that might be the best idea.

My husband and I met some friends at Bar Louie for drinks and the UNC v. Duke basketball game last Wednesday. Our friends had been there for a little while, so they had claimed a table in the very crowded bar. The waitress was quick to come over and take our drink order, but that is where the quickness ended. We ordered the $5 bucket special (a great deal!) and informed her that we were going to look over the menu to order our late dinner. The two of us quickly decided on food, but the waitress was nowhere to be seen. She eventually came back to replenish our beer bucket, but by that time we had waited too long and neither of us were hungry. The highlight of the night was the music and the company!

Out of all the bars in Kirkwood, this one is probably my least favorite, simply because it gets WAY too crowded. The prices are decent, food is okay, but it's nothing to get excited about. You'll pretty much see people of every age (college to retired). I do like going here in the summer when the patio is open....very relaxing.

We went for Brunch on a Sunday afternoon and ordered sliders and and egg sandwich + tater tots. It was all marvelous! But, by far, my favorite thing was their house made ranch dressing, doesn't get any better & they need to bottle that stuff ;-)

This place sucks!!! Their drinks are completely watered down. I ordered a Maker's Mark on the rocks and it was clear. Bourbon is a brown liquor. When I tried to send it back the waiter would not take it back and said, "Sorry Bro."

This hands down my favorite bar, at least in a decent distance from where I live. The service is always above-average, and the food isn't bad at all. There is always a great mix of people, from the fresh-faced 21-year -olds to the retired types enjoying dinner on a Friday. Did I mention they have $2 pints on Mondays?

Hmmmm I am not sure how to begin this review. I am not sure If I like this place or if I need to give it another try and see If I have a better experience. We had lunch here the other day and we sat outside in the patio area. The first thing I noticed is the overload of tables and chairs that were not placed in a manner to allow people to walk around, but instead shoved next to each other creating a maze of confusion. The service was very poor. Our appetizer came out wrong the first time which is no big deal really. When they came out with the new appetizer they came out with our full meal too, so we had 3 extra large plates on our extra small table with no fork room whatsoever. (we could have picked an extra large table to accommodate) but we didn't.. We did not receive silverware so we asked. Waitress comes back with water but no silverware. I had to get up and go inside and ask for silverware and napkins. The food was good, nothing spectacular. We had burgers and I thought they were just okay. The price for everything was not steep but not cheap either. I still do not know how I feel about this place. Does this place really deliver based on all they hype it gets? I don't think so. Could the patio area use a little organization? Oh big time. Will I be coming here again? Maybe, maybe not.

Went there with some family and had a great time. Service was awesome, food was delicious, and the ladies liked all of their drinks. The patio is huge and looked quite comforting but we stayed inside. Plenty of tv's for the fellas and a full bar.

Went on a busy Sunday evening with the football crowd in full swing. Also had a party of 13. Food was just okay for the price. Between all of us we covered the menu. I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich. Service was disappointing. They seemed to have plenty of them but it took a long time to get served and they forgot my order. With the type of food the menu has it should be faster. I would go again but, not with a large party.

The food is terrible - we ordered 20 appetizers - every plate came with brown avocados, mushed up tomato, bone parts in the chopped chicken. The cheapest ingridients just made everything look and taste like crap. This is the worse $500 happy hour I ever experienced. Yes the chicks are hot hanging in big groups, but there is also 40 people working the floor, the dudes are of no help. The drinks were weak, never delivered as ordered, and they were substituting without notifying the customer. What a sham this place sucks!!

Packed? Not even close, but perhaps that is because we were there for lunch on a Tuesday. There were only three other tables, two of west county ladies who lunch (4 or 5 at each table) and one with two business men having a beer lunch. I was there with two co-workers, we all had Tuesday off and meet up for drinks and lunch. Our drinks were Bud Select, Margarita and Tickled Pink. I was drinking the Tickled Pink on the recommendation of our waitress. I told her I liked vodka, and I think she made her suggestion based on that and the fact I was in a pink polo. It was kinda sweet, but vodka served in a martini glass - I'm game. We started out with the Bruschetta, which was served in a giant size Martini glass. It was light, flavorful and a perfect start to a afternoon or cocktails and munching. We then continued our feast with three small plates, we each got to choose one. Our three were, Grilled Chicken Nachos, Loaded Fries and Chicken Wings (Szechwan). The Szechwan was great, spicy with a sweet tang. The loaded fries were good, for my taste they could have been crisper to handle the weight of all the toppings. The G. C. N. were the best of the three, one person could make it a meal. Our waitress was perky and fun. When we were ready to go, she told us she only had two more hours to go on her shift and she'd love us to stay. A few times she was slow bringing the next round of drinks, but that wasn't her fault. I could see the bar where I was seated and the bartender had a problem staying within her work area. Great ambiance, I had fun and the food was above average bar grub. I'll go back.

Went on a Friday afternoon and had a pretty lousy experience overall. Poor service: it took 15 minutes for the waiter to come back with a refill for a glass of water, he forgot to bring us the check and then forgot to split it. Then it took another 15 minutes to get the correct check. The bathrooms smelled REALLY strongly of sewage. Meatball hoagie was dry, cold and the bread was stale. I won't be back and was very disappointed.

In Kirkwood a bar named "Louie" Served me a sandwich quite gooey. Melted Brie, Turkey, and Ham, over Greens, Dijon, and Jam. On bread that was crusty not chewy.

We visited the Kirkwood establishment on Friday and sat outside. The business wasn't overwhelming with patrons, so wait shouldn't be terrible... in theory. Friend and I ordered a beer prior to ordering dinner. First beer delivered fairly quickly, between 5 and 10 minutes. Ordered food which arrives around 20 minutes. A decent time, however just prior to the food we flagged the waiter and asked for the same beers, where they'd arrive with the food. Food arrives with no beer. 45 minutes passed since we ordered the beers. We kept trying to flag him down as he didn't stop by to offer any explanation on the lack of beverage or check on the food quality. I eventually had to walk up to him (after finishing the food) and ask where the beers were, others nearby didn't appear to have much better luck obtaining drinks either. The waiters explanation, "Well, we are pretty busy. Bar has precedence." Wow, so I should have gone inside to order the drinks? A sorry excuse of a server. Dude, it's beer, it isn't prepared with anything other than a clean glass (which use mine if you really need to), and a person to activate the beer tap. 30 seconds tops. Even a chimpanzee could dispense beers and it'd be more entertaining.

Nice happy hour specials the setup in the place is cool and looks as though patio area would be nice in warmer months. The food was ok nothing that wowed us but nothing that was bad either. Flat breads were good and boneless wings were the best thing I had. The service was great

Good food and drinks but the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. It took the server anywhere from fifteen to twenty minutes to get our drinks. Anything from messing up our drinks and messing up the food order...the server did it all. I am a server myself and usually understand but our server did not even care that they messed up. Will not be back because of this experience which is a shame because the food was great and specials are awesome as well. Lastly we asked for our change back and the server never came back with it. When he did come back and gave us change it was wrong. Such a disappointment.

Oh Bar Louie, I could have given you a better rating... but I didn't. There's a number of reasons for this: the prices keep climbing consistently higher, the air conditioning is continually set on "deep freeze," the place can get louder than a thousand screaming Justin Bieber fans, they never have enough umbrellas for the patio, and food really isn't that remarkable. There! When Bar Louie first opened its Kirkwood location, I was a fan. They have a solid menu of American bar food: sliders and nachos, salads, burgers, pastas, pizzas, brunch on Sundays, etc. The BBQ chicken salad was my go to - it had everything I wanted in it: a tangy BBQ sauce ranch dressing, pieces of grilled chicken, avocado, corn and the most to die for friend onion straws on top. But it's a salad! So it's healthy! Anyway, no mind - it was good, and when we could sit outside under an umbrella - we did. The inside was ok during off hours, but you needed to strategically attempt to position yourself out of the way of a blowing air vent, and hope a sports game wasn't on or else an audible conversation would not be possible. There are a LOT of TVs inside for avid (ie rabid) fans, which St. Louis is known for, so beware. But as time has gone on, Bar Louie's rating, in my humble opinion, has gone down. The prices of the food has increased although portion sizes have not and the quality of the ingredients in the food doesn't seem as good as it's been in the past. Also, the staff isn't the most attentive to refilling empty glasses, turning down the AC when asked to, or making sure the order comes out correctly the first time. At one point, I would have given Bar Louie four stars, but I can't in good conscience now. It's a good place for a pricier meal, but I don't feel the overall quality really lives up to the prices.

Disappointment. The blackberry orange brie salad was missing blackberries. There were 2 pecans and 1 hair. The pear and blue cheese salad was missing dried cranberries. The fish tacos came out last and were cold. Beers took 20 minutes to refill. Asked 2 people for a water. After an hour we just got our own water. Excuse? It was happy hour and they were busy. We weren't charged for one of the salads and we were given a discount.

I don't really care for this Bar Louie location. For the few times that I've come here, the service sucks and the servers aren't nice. I just can't get over paying $10 for a meal that is half way done. That is my opinion though.

We wanted to try something different from the ordinary for lunch so we drove to Kirkwood to find a new place to eat. We were driving from the north so we had to make a uturn to get into the parking lot. Kind of a pain and there may be a better way in from that direction but we must have missed it. We got there about 11:30 so there wasn't much of a lunch crowd, and honestly only a couple of people came in while were were there. However the place was extremely clean which is always a plus. Our waitress was great, very attentive, never allowing our drinks to drop below 1/4 empty. I had the Louie Burger. Bacon and cheese with an over easy fried egg on top. Although a little messy and almost to big for my mouth, it was delicious. Seems like a nice place and would be a great place to stop after work and have a couple drinks. I may have to do that sometime.

I dined with a few friends at this establishment last night. I brought a beverage from home onto the patio, but before I could even ask a server where I could discard it, a young lady wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt snatched it from my hand, said "I AM THE GM" and walked away. She then proceeded to sit at a table inside and was obviously talking about me as she and her colleagues glared back at my table. I'm well aware most restaurants don't allow outside drinks on their property, but as someone who has worked in the service industry for 11 years, this was the most unprofessional encounter I've had from management of any establishment. It was especially embarrassing since I had taken two friends that had never dined there and this was their first impression. Like many other customers in the Kirkwood area, I will be taking my business to Billy G's from now on. Aside from that, our server was very nice and attentive and the food was alright. I can only hope these words will reach someone that can spark positive change within their Kirkwood location.

I'm so glad that Bar Louis has thrived in the downtown Kirkwood business district. I get tired of seeing restaurants come and go in Station Plaza. A trip to Bar Louis always requires a little patience --- a group of ladies stopped in for lunch during the Kirkwood Holiday Walk, a heavily advertised event to get people shopping and eating in Kwood on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. As the weather was unseasonably warm, we opted to sit outside and soak up some rays with our drinks and lunch. The host warned us that sitting outside might slow down service a bit since he hadn't planned for outdoor seating that day. Fair enough---we thought we had a general idea of what a reasonable wait might be. He should have said that service would move at a glacial pace. Thank goodness we didn't have anywhere to be--it took 20 minutes to ORDER our drinks. Similar time frames accompanied the ARRIVAL of the drinks, the ORDERING of the FOOD, the ARRIVAL of the food, the PRESENTATION of the checks, and the PAYMENT of the checks. Our waiter apologized, but then proceeded to complain at every interaction about how swamped he was. We were understanding, but you really don't want to feel like a burden when you're plunking your cash down at an establishment. He was a downer. In his defense, he didn't seem to be getting help from the manager which makes me think the entire restaurant was understaffed that day. On to the food---everyone enjoyed their meals--ham and brie, caramelized onion flatbread, tzaziki/hummus/tabbouleh platter. The bloody marys were amazing---and I detest tomato juice! And really, the food, drink, and conversation were the focus of the afternoon, so all ended up okay.

Just stopped by for a drink with a couple friends. We were on the way home from his 50th bday party and wanted to unwind. The place is great and most of the employees are friendly. One of the bartenders was completely rude and treated us like she was doing us a favor by pouring a drink. The chicken quesadilla was okay but no great shakes. Great atmosphere! Great location!

Love the patio! Every time I go there I get the same thing: the pretzels and the Blacken Blue burger. I's so good, I've never tried anything else! Great place for date if the weather is nice!

I just ate lunch there (a Monday). If you want real loud hard rock music with slow service this is your spot. The place was half empty but "they only had one cook". On a crowded Friday night this would have been ok but today this was a fail. The food once we got it was ok. The table next to ours was empty and unbussed the entire lunch. Not a good day for Bar Louie. I will never have a business lunch here again. In the summer I may go and listen to music on the patio but that is about it. Too many well run places in Kirkwood.

While the food and drinks are good, the service always seems to put a bad taste in my mouth. My friends and I always seem to get the same waitress. I'm sorry to say I don't know her name. She has dark brown, curly hair, and she usually wears it up. Anyone remember Darlene from Roseanne? She looks just like her, and her attitude isn't far off either. The first time I was graced with her presence, she quickly jotted down our order without so much as a smile. When she brought out our food, we realized there was no silverware. After trying to get her attention for 10 minutes, she finally brought some over. If you need another drink, extra napkins, or your check, you had better be quick. This woman is faster than the tasmanian devil. She stops by your table only for a brief second, just barely letting you get the words, "May I have another dr..." out and she's gone. Too bad for your friend who wanted to ask for a to go box. He'll just have to wait. My first experience with, let's just call her "Darlene," was enough for me never to go back to Bar Louie again. But I was certain that someone with such a piss poor attitude wouldn't be there for very long. I was wrong. I've been back 3-4 times, and she's always there. And the service is always awful. This weekend, my friends and I grabbed a table in the corner. She proceeded to card all of us, even though only half of the table was ordering drinks. After taking our order, she came back and told us we would have to leave because two people in our group were under 21. I had never seen this policy enforced at Bar Louie before, and I'm convinced that it wasn't because my friends were under 21. No, it was because the last time she was our waitress, we tipped her according to the service we received. My advice? If you're going out, avoid this place. This waitress is a buzz kill.

Yeah I like this place for Happy hours. If ever you want cool place to go for happy hour or a Saturday afternoon, this place gets my vote. I can't really speak to the entree quality because I had a burger drinks and an appetizer. Drinks and appetizer were good. You cant really screw up a burger and any place that does will receive a 1 star just on principle alone.

Nice location, interesting interior, and really average food. I had the fried chicken melt with fries. The chicken was under seasoned and the chili mayo was flavorless. The fries came right out of a bag of frozen fries. They were slightly soggy and totally bland. My lunch date had a burger and he said it was okay. I asked for no lettuce and tomato and got both. My date asked for mayo on the side and didn't get it. There was no salt or pepper on the table. Each of us had a soda and a beer. Our sodas were never refilled and our server never inquired as to whether we wanted a second beer.

We stopped in for a Father's Day lunch after learning our original choice wasn't serving their normal menu. We were just looking for burgers and beer. Bar Louie ended up being a good choice. The rain stayed away, and we were able to sit on the patio which is spacious and nice. My husband and I both ordered the Louie Burger, which was topped with provolone, grilled onion, and spicy giardiniera. We ordered medium well, but they were definitely well done. Otherwise the burger was pretty good. (And I LOVE that they offer tots as a side choice!!!!!) My daughter ordered the voodoo chicken plate and enjoyed it, yet expected a little more spice. Service was good. It wasn't a place that swept us off our feet, causing us to think ahead about another visit. However, it was a positive experience and a viable choice for us again when in the area.

I wish I could give this place a 3.5 star rating. Every time I've been here, service has been a 4, and food has been a 3. I'm rounding down to 3, because it's a decent place, but not one I go out of the way to visit. Today I had their famous Mac n Cheese, I got the bacon, broccoli, and jalapeño version. The cheesy noodles are good, and the sprinkle lots of bacon on it - all good. The broccoli is very crisp and fresh, yet I would have liked it cooked a bit. The jalapeño is raw, and cut a bit too big for my liking. I would have preferred it diced a bit finer, or cooked a bit to soften the heat of the pepper. I've also had a burger from here and the panko crusted avocado fries. All decent eats - exactly what you'd expect. Parking can be found within walking distance. However the tiny, minuscule small lot immediately next to the restaurant and train tracks fills up quickly. Just park behind the building in one of the garages there if you need to - if you order the Mac n cheese you might need to walk off the calories! The restaurant is located next to a Kaldi's - yum - and other eateries. In the summer, the large outdoor sitting area is full of sun worshipers soaking up vitamin D and people watching. There are also musicians who play regularly on that outdoor patio. If you're in Kirkwood, this is a decent place to eat.

Went for brunch. I didn't have the pancakes but almost everyone else did. They tasted like they were frozen and then microwaved. The waitress said they make them (microwave them?) in house. I find that SO HARD to believe. I'd love proof. Waitress said she'd keep the coffee flowing. Everyone's cups were empty. And no pre-bussing at all. We sat for about 30 minutes (while their credit card machine was down) while flies swarmed our empty plates. We only dined here because it was close to our fitness class but next time we'll definitely go out of the way to go elsewhere (Sqwires!)

Had appetizers and drinks with my family last night. The food was pretty good and so were the drinks. The dirty martini with the blue cheese olives was a welcome change. We also had the BLT Bloody Mary, it comes with skewered bacon, olive, provolone, pickle and a lime. I would have given them four stars but our waiter seemed inexperienced...he was not Johnny-on-the-spot with the drinks.

Only giving one star cause that the lowest I can give. Bar food at best. Portion sizes have shrunk. Just wanted to split dinner with my mom. Good thing I wasn't starving. Server didn't bring food or plates or even check on us once. Openly admitted that he forgot about us. I get that people are busy but honestly... Wouldn't recommend

Had dinner with my family tonight at Bar Louie. Husband ordered a salad and added chicken. I had chicken nachos. Chicken was disgusting - chewy, tasted old and like it had been reheated. Kids both had sliders. Hamburger meat tasted disgusting. The location of this restaurant means they're guaranteed traffic regardless of quality of food, experience. As a Kirkwood resident, I'd love to see another option in this space.

Their brunch was really great! I had the grilled veggie wrap and it was huge (also really yummy the next day!). But the best part was the ultimate mimosa with oj, bubbles, and some delicious vodka concoction. It could have been trouble since we were there with bunch of kiddos also. The service was speedy and welcoming to our large group of parents and kids.

Love Bar Louie's happy hour! You can't go wrong with half-priced martinis (and if you do, at least you won't remember it). Flatbread pizzas and other apps are discounted during HH too; combined with outdoor seating & one heated outside table, Bar Louie in St. Louis is a win/win for relaxing evenings!

Enjoyed a Sunday dinner with my family at Bar Louie tonight. The service was exceptional...very attentive, especially to our young children. We tried a variety of food tonight. On the gluten-free side, we tried the Shrimp Adobo and the Tuna Sesame. They were outstanding. Delicious sauces and big portions! The kids tried the Chicken Parmesan sliders...but the marinara just wasn't doing it for them. So, we opted for a grilled cheese sandwich and cheeseburger sliders instead...just what they needed. They cleaned their plates and then got to try the ice cream...yummy! Prices were a little high...but still an overall satisfactory experience had by all.

During the "Kirkwood Route 66 Festival & Great Race 2015" they were very busy. Their team stepped up and did a great job. Each server was helping the others out to make sure that each table was taken care of. The bar was a little slow on turn arounds but i still give them a 5 star. Great job "Louie" Kirkwood, my family will return.

I'll start with the good. Went there for lunch today for a quick business luncheon with a colleague and sat outside. Food was good as usual. Ordered the pulled pork with the meatballs as an appetizer. Fairly consistent as usual. Now the bad. Hygiene is extremely important to me. This Bar Louie leaves their appetizer saucers out on the tables stacked in 4s. Every one of our saucers was dirty. I alerted our waiter, he grabs a stack from an adjacent table and these were equally as dirty, mind you his bare hands were on the plates side where the food was to be placed. Of course we didn't use those plates either so we proceeded to look on other tables for clean saucers and every single saucer was dirty as well. So we just gave up. We sit to eat and our silverware was dirty too. I don't think I will be returning to this Bar Louie anytime soon without getting a hepatitis booster shot or 2. This is a problem waiting to happen.

This place has good food. Although I got the baked mac n cheese. First off it wasn't baked at all it was just regular mac n cheese. Second it was the smallest portion I've ever seen. For 15 dollars it better atleast take me more than 60 sec to eat. Very disappointed. Third there was like 10 people in this entire place eating and it took like an hour to get our food.

It's Sunday afternoon and I was thinking it would be good to get something to eat and drink while watching the game. I arrived to a half empty dining room with most of the tables in need of cleaning. Two people walked by and said we could sit wherever we wanted but all of the booths were dirty. 10 minutes later we finally got someone's attention to clean a booth. About 10 minutes later someone came to take our order and we gave them our appetizer and food order specifically saying which were appetizers and which was our meal. While we waited we learned the wifi was broken so we had to mooch off a neighboring business. All of the food came out at the same time and half of it was cold. On top of that the malt vinegar was not brought out with the fish n chips and we had to flag our server down after another 10 minutes because she did not come back to check on us. I don't know if it was hot, but it wasn't by the time the malt vinegar arrived. Poor service, poor bussing, broken wifi, and cold food. Why would I ever come back?

We go to Bar Louie pretty regularly. We like the food and happy hour specials. Had the worst service in four years. Justin charged for drinks that were never delivered, and up charged us for name brand alcohol instead of rail, which we did order. Manager fixed the issues. Justin was also MIA. Most of the time we had to flag him down everytime we wanted to order something; even though he was just standing around in the back.We still recommend Bar Louie, but ask questions, check your bill, and avoid Justin.

  • Meagan W.

Poor service. Bartenders complaining about another guests "note" on the ticket after she left (probably saying something about poor attitude.) in front of the rest of the bar. Food is decent, nothing to rave about, and the "Tickled Pink Martini" sort of tasted like off brand medicine. But, I mean, if you're into that kind of thing... Decent atmosphere for a Tuesday night, but I'm so amazed by the lack of attentiveness from the staff, the atmosphere is the least of my concerns. They (male and female bar staff) took more interest in talking to each other. Once the bartender made an effort, he only made excuses, and complained about the previous guest to me, using the occasional vulgarity. Don't get me wrong, I have a sailors mouth, but it does not belong in your place of business. I promise, I will not return. I work with a substantial amount of people every day and I most certainly will not recommend it to others.

Went here and there was nowhere to sit. It was a Saturday night. So it's understandable. But we walked in the door and waited and multiple servers passed us and didn't even acknowledge us. We waited for about 10 minutes. And even after trying to get the attention of one of the waitresses to find out how much longer they thought the wait would be, they still just walked by. Maybe I'll try back another time. But doubtful.

We came here on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet. My wife came back from the restroom and said it was pretty filthy. I checked out the men's room and it was fine. Our server was not that great. It took a while to get our beers that we ordered and didn't check on us much. I got the voodoo chicken which looked good on paper. It was just ok because the chicken was pretty dry. My wife got the veggie wrap and said it was "eh". Overall, our experience was not very good. We will not be coming back. I was told how great this place was. Ummm... No!

So I wanted to come here for my birthday lunch with my family. It is 2:55pm and we've been here an hour with no food yet. When we got our drinks, we asked for straws. They were out. This place has a nice patio once the sun is down. That said it is a VERY loud patio because trains go by very frequently. It is downtown Kirkwood with Amtrak trains and regular trains. I was here with a large group on the patio. They were out of several beers at 5:30pm on a Friday night. That is poor bar management. If you know you have nice weather coming up and you have a happy hour special from 4-7pm, figure it out. It took forever to get drinks before they were busy, and then damn near impossible after that. We got excuses they were backed up at 7pm because of happy hour ending. That may have been true but I won't be back. Chicken quesadillas were pretty good though. Get there early to et a seat and maybe a beer before they run out LOL

I don't see why anyone would waste their time at this establishment. I came here on a Saturday night with a group of 10 ladies for my sisters bachelorette 'party'. First impression was that the entrance was terribly located. I found it odd that they have no host/hostess on a weekend. We stood about for a moment in the path of the terrible entrance before we could find a place to sit. The service was subpar. We let our server know our checks would be separate & that we would help him figure out whom ordered what. He was sweet about it; bless his soul. However, it took about 30 plus minutes to get our drinks & all 10 of us weren't even drinking. I understand that this was more the bars fault than his but it still was unacceptable. I ordered an American honey with a lemon & sugar & somehow was the last one served. He came back about 20 minutes after we ordered & told me that didn't have any but had Tennessee honey. I replied by saying that that would be fine & he gave me a confused look. Let's just say I did not tip. Terrible drink service. I didn't consume any food so I can't review that but the patio was crowded & people seem to enjoy it here. Unfortunately it wasn't for us and we went down the street to Billy G's where I originally wanted to go & had a blast. I won't be back to Bar Louie; I advise you to check out Kirkwood Brewing Station or Billy G's!

I was in town from CO visiting for Mother's Day and when I lived here 6 years ago I loved this place! My mom said the last few times she went here the service was surprisingly bad, but I just couldn't believe it, so for Mother's Day I convinced her to go. BAD choice! We had a party of 5 and when we sat down on patio we needed an extra chair, there was a male waiter cleaning an empty table off behind us and I asked if I could steal a chair...his response was, "I don't care what you do" literally word for word! BAD first impression! Then when the waitress came to our table she didn't even smile....we asked her how her day was going and she responded "it's okay, we are understaffed " she was completely unfriendly! We ordered drinks and waited about 20 minutes with nothing except the soda my nephew ordered! She didn't even make contact with us...this is when we decided to not give our money to Bar Louie! We told her we were leaving and the waitress didn't even care or ask why. We had friends at a nearby bar,and the Service was much better and they had music! I am SO disappointed with Bar Louie especially since it was Mother's Day and I expected to have a great time! No one in our family will ever go here again and we will definitely make sure everyone knows! Do not go here!

I mean really? The only draw they have is location and drinks. The wait staff is horrible and always has been. They don't know the menu and they are not friendly. Lets not forget about the price! Yikes! And I like to spend money on food...but not average quality small portion food!

I've been to this location 3 times now, and everything we ordered was great! Once they were out of several items, but it was after a holiday weekend. I've always gone there around 4:30/5 before they get really busy. Servers were friendly too.

I should start by saying I worked in the service industry for many years so I notice many different factors of what makes up a poor experience when were dining out. I had Breakfast with my family and was very disappointed with the food & service. The restaurant was not very busy when we arrived, about 6 tables total. It took several minutes just to get coffee & then a few more for water. The menu looked pretty good, but was misleading. What was suppose to be 2 scrambled eggs was maybe 1, the pancakes we're tiny, fruit was also suppose to come with a meal, but was forgotten, and no cream was available so we settled for milk. After asking for our 2nd cup of coffee when we received breakfast we were told 5 mins later it would be a few more minutes as they were brewing more. The food wasn't bad, but what's was a $9 a piece breakfast should be closer to $5 considering the very small portion. We only saw our server only when he took our orders, delivered them, & dropped off the check. Again it's not very busy. Several servers were just hanging out by the door. Also the bathrooms were out of paper towels & 1 hand soap luckily still had a little left. As we were leaving the parking lot our server & the manager were out back smoking. I guess that was why he was hard to find. Over all bad service, over priced, & lazy management & staff =not soon to return for us.

Good food, but it took over an hour to get our food, on a Sunday afternoon when it wasn't packed. Seemed to be understaffed in the kitchen, but no apologies were given. I've eaten at Bar Louie's in other cities without any problems, so this location was very disappointing.

LOVE bar Louie, but this specific location is TERRIBLE. We live close so we try over and over again but the experience never changes. The food is bad. Chain restaurants should have this down, and EVERY single other bar Louie I have gone to does, except this location. And the service is never good either, it's an inconvenience for them.

I came with a group of 9 people around 2:00 in the afternoon--not a busy time at all. Yet not a single person received what they ordered. Side salads were forgotten or substitutes with weird things that no one even remotely ordered. And an order of sliders came with 3, not 4. A silly complaint? Maybe. But I always assumed sliders came with 4 (especially at their price.) This place seems to be good for late night drinking aaand that's about it.

I came in tonite with a group of about 50 people. I paid for my food in cash. The waitress dropped the change off while I was away from the table in the restroom. I asked the waits when I came back, where it was. I was told she had dropped out back to the table. It wasn't on the table. I told her that my change needed to be found. She then went to get the manager. I explained to the manager what the issue was. She then proceed to tell me it was my responsibility, and they would do nothing to make it right. When I tried to explain that it was dropped off while I want even at the table, she told me I could leave. The manager then proceeded to tell other people that I was there with that I was demanding free drinks. That's odd, since I wasn't even drinking tonight. I simply wanted her to be aware of the situation. She came to me with an attitude. Horrible costume service, disgraceful management skills. I will not be back. Neither will the meetup groups that I organize. You didn't just lose 1 customer tonite, you lost a lot of big parties.

The Bar Louie girls -- the high school group of six -- decided to celebrate our second anniversary of getting together by going back to Bar Louie -- where it all started! Three of us got there 30 minutes "early," so we speared a lovely rounded booth facing all the TVs. Got water, reviewed the imbibement list and took a little minute to decide. Our server (We kept calling her Susie, but then explained to her why we called her Susie, and she got a hoot out of it.) was just spot-on with the leisure and flavor of our table! I wish I could remember her name, but she was absolutely delightful and extremely attentive. Tuesday is $1 burger night. Well, you gotta know the $1 burger is lettuce and a bun -- it says so explicitly on the menu. No arguments from us readers!! You want cheese, bacon, mayo, grilled onions, raw onions, tomatoes -- anything else -- it costs extra!! For the most part, additions are 50 cents extra. Mayo is 25 cents extra. The dollar burger menu encourages you to order a basket of fries or tots. Ask how much that costs -- 'cause it ain't $1. We asked. And we asked how many that basket would serve. OK, here's the rundown: one basket of fries or tots costs $4, and it serves 2-3. BINGO! You got the picture. We started out with a cone basket of calamari with its lucious ketchup-horseradish sauce. It was wonderful. I wish we'd ordered two. Then we were on to the burgers. Everybody got exactly what they ordered, brought out by the "kitchen"? Not sure, but he was fabulous. And we got a basket of tots. By this time our sixth attendee had arrived, and she was giving her burger order to the kitchen guy. He was taking it all in, but then Susie was there, so she took over. Great service!! And we ordered another basket of tots. There's just something about tots that reminds me of childhood. And, yes, tater tots were already invented when I was a child. (So was fire.) The burgers just hit the spot! Great buns, a good-sized patty with nice beef flavor and a reasonable amount of lettuce. Add a little ketchup and a lot of mustard (both free), dig into the tots, and you gotta a great meal! I added Cheddar to my burger, so it was a $1.50 burger. There were four cheese options: Cheddar, Pepper Jack, American and Provel (I think). That second basket of tots was HOT-HOT -- fresh out of the tot-maker!! Yum!! The six of us did not finish that second basket. A fabulous evening with good friends, good food, good service!

Food is ok, but the happy hour is fairly strong and the the patio is top notch. If it's a Thursday or Friday HH definitely plan to get there early

In a word, disappointing. Waited a full half hour for service. I've chewed on erasers that were more tender than the calamari. Some of the pieces could literally be used as a toothpick. Once we had the servers attention ( this after one in our party blew a gasket with the one of the servers) service was definitely better. Just too many other options to go back.
