Awesome BBQ Pulled Pork and friendly staff! I would recommend a try. Love the decor and the smell of BBQ when you walk in. Some music for ambiance would put the cherry on top!

Stopped in with the family Sunday for dinner. Had their large family platter, which was on special. There was a TON of food for 80 dollars. There were 6 of us so the price wasn't bad and we have enough left over to eat for supper that night. Ribs were done perfectly. I do competitions with BBQ and they weren't the fall off the bone crockpot style, these were REAL ribs. The pulled pork was tender and tasty. I prefer they don't sauce the meat beforehand, and they had great sauce at the table for me to do that. I hope this place survives, it is a Diamond in the Rough!

We just ate here and opted to split the special: 1lb rib tips with 2 sides for under $10. The rib tips were cooked well, tender and lightly sauced. They have sauce on the side (sweet-flavored mild and a hotter option). The sweet potatoe fries were lightly salted and very good. The mac n cheese was like casserole texture - a bit mushy, but not bad with a little pepper. I'd get the fries and something else next time. When we walked in we were greeted immediately. The decor is perfect, and everything was very clean. We also were checked on and offered a to go box without having to ask. Very nice staff. Their regular prices might not be worth it, but getting the special made this an amazing value for a satisfying meal.

Dixie is slinging some pretty decent barbecue in an area pretty much devoid of anything resembling quality Q. The interior is an upgrade from the Dickey's that used to occupy the same address. They've added a few TV's and some better seating, but the atmosphere is still casual. Sadly, they appear to be fairly unknown at this point, which is too bad, as some additional customer turnover would likely help them sling more meat fresh from the smokers. The pulled pork, brisket, and to a lesser extent the ribs, have all been tasty and the sauces (hot or mild) are pretty good. The sides aren't anything special, but you're here for the meat sweats, not rabbit food or mayo dressed filler. Overall, they're slinging a good product with friendly service, hopefully word gets out a bit so they can continue to improve upon that.

It was empty when I went there. But i tried a brisket sandwich and it only came with one side. There a bit expensive no wonder it was so empty. The guy wss nice the food tastes alright. He did give me alot of meat on my sandwich. .but it was dry had tonpit some bbq sauce on..

I had the brisket sandwich with fries. The brisket was juicy, tender and flavorful. Fries were very good too. Coleslaw sucks out loud. A little pricey at $12. Fried had the pulled pork with mac & cheese. He said the pork had good flavor, but was dry as a bone. He said mac & cheese was good. Bbq sauces were mediocre. Too molassey for my taste.

Just had a half rack of St. Louis ribs with baked beans and fries. I finished it off with the cornbread doused in honey. It's never been better. The ribs were meaty and spicey and they had two kinds of sauce; mild and hot. The price was right and the meal came out super fast. I'll eat here again and I will not go down to the rib joint just east of here on Valley Creek and Radio Drive anymore, if you know what I mean.

First and last time I will eat here. The brisket sandwich I ordered was impossible to bite through due to the excessive fat and gristle. It was like chewing on rubber. I had to carve the meat with a knife, which took away from the fact that I ordered a sandwich!

Good BBQ and the staff was nice and helpful. I had the 2 meat plate with rib tips and roasted chicken. The rub was full of flavor and the meat was juicy, fresh, and delicious. I will be returning soon! As the other yelper mentioned I think they should invest in some more advertisement. If I didn't live nearby I would never have known this place was open. Maybe a grand opening sign, or possibly a groupon/living social deal to get people in their. I would like to have the new "non-chain" restaurants in Woodbury like this one to stay around for good!

First visit - great food and friendly staff. The pulled pork was delicious; very flavorful and juicy. I will definitely return. I hope Dixie's invests in some marketing, though! It was empty and the location will be tough without driveby patrons. It will be a successful venture if they can get folks in the door because the food will bring them back for more! (Rhyme was unintentional!)

Easily my new favorite BBQ place! The servings are generous and the quality is spot on. The sauces are lighter, but the richness of the bun and meat mean you don't need much. The sweet potato fries, cornbread and slaw are all wonderful. Will be back soon!

We had a great meal. The baked beans are fantastic. The highlighted shredded pork sandwich was done to perfection. The only drawback was the cornbread was not served warm. Warm corn bread is the bees knees.

Husband and I decided to try something new and happened upon this cute little nook which turned out to be a fantastic lunch! We had the pulled pork sandwiches and potato salad/Mac and cheese sides. The pork was juicy and tender with hardly no fat. We used the hot and mild BBQ sauce and both were really great! Generous portions so I took half home but we will definitely be back!

Most of the meal went into the trash. I had a half rack of St. Louis ribs with beans and cornbread for my two sides. The ribs were overly fatty and the beans tasted burned. With those two strikes, the cornbread provided no redemption.

Had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and it was juicy and very tasty. I've been to the Blaine location several times and can say that the quality of the food has not changed! I would highly recommend dixie blue bbq. It's definitely worth the money you pay for the food!

I had the st Louis ribs an pork sandwiche. Both excellent. Sides were okay. I ate the corn bread Mac and cheese and coleslaw, which was my favorite out of them all.

Pork sandwich stands on its own, but a touch of sauce every few bites is delicious. Loved the cole slaw. It has a nice blast of garlic. Find Dixie Blue directly east of Target in Woodbury north of Valley Creek and east of hwy 494. Inhale deeply and enjoy.
