The last time I ate there I had this ditzy blonde helping me and seemed clueless about practically everything on the menu. I asked her questions and every time she would go and ask, maybe text on her phone, or go in the bathroom and smoke crack or whatever she was doing. It took forever for her to come back to help me. Plus it seemed like she was on drugs or something. Not joking. Was that bad. Needless to say I didn't tip at all. Oh and their customer service on the phone is pretty bad too. Had this snotty kid that answered the phone and felt like he didn't want to talk to me and was rushing me with his attitude. There is other green mills you can go to in other locations. Go there instead.

Used to be a regular...changed menu in February and got rid of all the good sandwiches. Now mostly pasta and pizza...moving away from other foods. Deep dish pizza is good but not cheesy at all...not like Chicago style pizza. Im pretty much done there...others do pizza better (within a few blocks) and the disappearance of their used to be awesome sandwiches has me out. Won't be back until menu gets updated to include the better stuff again. Trying to be high end...not working. Place was EMPTY on a Saturday night at 7:00. Not a good sign.

I would give zero stars, but the option isn't available. Went for lunch today, sat at a booth in the bar (which wasn't overly busy), perused the menu for 20 minutes, then left. The bartender, bar back, hostess, and 2 servers saw us sitting there. Apparently nobody wanted to help us. The menu didn't look appealing anyway, but we would have ordered if somebody would have stopped by to take our order. Instead, we simply left after 20 minutes of no service. We won't go back, unfortunately. Good luck, Green Mill. You'll need it...

I'm staying at the hotel that shares a parking lot with the Green Mill. Tonight I decided to be lazy and grab a bite there rather than driving someplace further afield. The service tonight by Alexa was perfect with the right level of attention -- plentiful and friendly but not too much. Her recommendations were honest (not just the most-expensive of whatever I was considering) and tasty. The Waldorf Salad from their summer menu hit the spot for a light dinner and the strawberry smoothie tasted great and was a nice complement to the salad. Overall a better experience than I expected. I'd go back.... and not just because it's so close.

This used to be my favorite place to grab apps and drinks with my friends. They made a bunch of cuts a few years ago and got new management. Now it's the worst experience. Seems as if the staff hates their jobs and cannot wait to go home. Last time my husband and I went I got a bloody Mary always my go to at green mill. My cheese stick had MOLD on it. Mold! Like seriously, how long had it been in the fridge? Shouldn't the bar tender check to make sure everything is perfect before it goes out? Then on our way out in the entrance there was a huge cockroach looking bug. Very gross and creepy as my husband and I slithered by it began to flutter wings and tried to fly. Gross and terrifying. I'm not kidding this thing was the size of a hand. Ugh gross needless to say we will never be back, ever.

If you have kids, do NOT go here. We came here for lunch - 5 adults and 3 kids, right after putting our much beloved family dog to sleep. While eating, our 2 year old was being a 2 year old and let out one playful scream. A woman at a table nearby then stood up and said, "do you mind?" After stepping over to their table to politely inform them of our grief, the woman then went over to the waiter, and then manager to complain about us. We saw the manager attentively listen to "their" version of the story, and we stopped him on the way back. He was very curt and rude to us, explaining that these people has just come for a quiet meal, and at least he didn't tell our kids to "shut up". He made it clear that he thought we were wrong for having a two year old in his restaurant. After having our order messed up multiple times, we paid our bill (over $200), and we weren't acknowledged on our way out. It was just incredibly disappointing to be scolded for bringing well-behaved children out to eat after spending a large amount of money. I've never had an experience like this.

Tried this restaurant for an early lunch and came away with mixed reviews. Salad was fresh, pizza looked and tasted like digiorno, and there was a problem with flies. Service was competent but not outstanding. Overall, passable but not a definite repeat. The flavored soda option is a neat extra, allowing lime diet coke, for example.

In town for work staying at the nearby motel. The staff recommend the restaurant for their great variety of foods. We had a wonderful meal, great attention from the staff, the whole building was clean. Would definitely go there again.

They've added some new pasta dishes to the menu that are delicious, but what has impressed me the last couple times was the service. The guy in the bar area who served me today...I couldn't have run out of my drink if I'd tried. I really, really appreciate service like that. Rock on, man.

We have been here a few time and the service is good. The last time we were there the thin crust pizza, sausage was awful I've had better frozen pizza, Crust was dry and flavorless, cheese was melted but not bubbly, May go back but not for thin crust.

We frequent this establishment because the service is solid, bingo is fun and the menu fulfills multiple cravings. The bar is chill, making it a good place to either watch the game or have an audible conversation with your company.

I recently was hanging out with some friends in Eagan and we decided to hit up the Green Mill Café (1940 Rahncliff Court) for dinner. They all seemed to think it was a good place to get really good pizza. Since I'm "new" to the Twin Cities I went in with an open mind and expected to have a great experience at the Green Mill. The experience was just okay, nothing great, nothing terrible. We went on a Friday evening and knew it would be packed, and it was. We even went after 8:30pm, a time where the restaurants are starting to thin out a bit, and there was STILL a wait. This place has to be good if there's still a 30 minute wait at this time of the night, right? Well... great probably doesn't describe my experience. First off, they have a HUGE menu which makes ordering difficult. They had pizza... and practically everything else under the sun. Pasta, sandwiches, steaks, burgers, etc. We were told they also serve a brunch on Sundays that has all the breakfast staples plus pizza. Pizza and eggs? I think I'll pass. The place was really boisterous. We had to repeat ourselves to our waiter when we were ordering and fortunately, they didn't screw up the orders. The noise wasn't nearly as distracting as all people around us with their annoying kids. Plus, there was a group of local HS students that were being extremely obnoxious... nothing new there. I had a calzone which I was told was "the best thing on the menu" by our server. If this is the best thing on the menu then I'm not overly impressed. The calzone had very little filling in it, but what filling it did have was pretty tasty. I was just picturing what a calzone should look like and was disappointed to find a lot of "dead space" inside the crust. Overall, I thought Green Mill was a good place to eat. It's nothing fancy and the one item I had didn't blow me away, but it was alright. I can see why people like this place, though I think the prices are a little over-the-top (not much on the menu under $10). It is loud, be ready for that if you chose to eat there. I'll probably be back to try their pizza another time and will bring my wife with me. Hopefully it won't be quite as hectic in there on the next visit. Maybe we'll come on a Wednesday and it won't be so noisy. Okay food, good service, nice menu, no complaints. Green Mill is okay.

Everything was very expensive, and it seemed they were eager to apologize, and take money off, rather than try to address real problems in their kitchen. They were nice enough people, but still just another over-priced restaurant with poor quality.

Average. I had a coupon for a free 2 topping pizza. so I grabbed my kiddo and away we went. He got pepperoni on his half, I got chicken and spinach. They had one of those machines so he could select any flavor of soda out of like 100 flavors, so he was thrilled. He's 9, so these are the things that bring him lots of joy in life, haha. I got a glass of happy hour wine for $3.50. Service was fine. She was pretty slow to bring me water refills, I had to ask twice. Other than that, solid 3 stars. The pizza was big and pretty plain- nothing fancy or special. Could've used more sauce. We liked it fine though. I don't think I'd ever purposely make a trip out here because I am craving Green Mill or anything, but it does the job just fine.
