    Our neighborhood ladies group went for lunch yesterday and everyone loved it! I have been many times with my husband and have never been disappointed! We also used them for catering and was extremely impressed. The chicken Andiamo is amazing along with the lasagna. Some of the ladies were loving the pizza they got yesterday. If you haven't been to Andiamo yet, give it a try!

    My family and I went on a Monday night and they were surprisingly packed. I made the mistake of filling up on the breadsticks before I even ate (which I do at almost every Italian restaurant - who doesn't?), but they were super soft. I got the penne alla basilica - it's a pesto chicken penne and I definitely recommend it! The chicken was moist and the pasta was delicious and I got a generous helping. The only downside is that it was a little bit oily but overall delightful!

    We waited 85 min for our food. Server came by 2x. Manager had no explanation for why not enough staff when had large groups . Had chicken Andiamos , chicken flavorless so needed prosciutto on top, roasted vegetables ok, friends meatball tasty, Mariners sauce rich with tomatoes. Be prepared for a long wait. We were so disgusted we skipped the dessert.

    First time here, Saturday night around 6:00. We were seated right away and it was crowded and LOUD. There's no carpeting or soft surfaces so words, laughter and partying bounces all over the place. i dont know if it was where we sat or the acoustics, but we had trouble talking without speaking unusually loud. I grew up in NYC in a neighborhood with lots of Italian friends and eating food their mothers made and GREAT restaurants run by first generation Italian/Americans, so I probably have different expectations and maybe I've been spoiled. BUT, I ordered the Veal Marsala with sauteed vegetables, and my wife ordered walleye dinner with the same veggies. The Veal cutlets were dredged in flour and sauteed, then marsala and mushrooms were added and somewhere along the road, it fell apart. Marsala was too sweet, flour on the cutlets wasnt quite sauteed enough so it was a gluey mess on the rubbery cutlet. Disappointing! The sauteed veggies, onion, carrots, summer squash, and peppers were done very well. My wifes walleye was heavily breaded and pan fried and served with a cream sauce along side, that tasted like light cream with lemon juice added. Nothing special, but who goes to an Ital restaurant and orders walleye? The bread was great, our cocktails were good and the service was good considering how crowded it was. We got our food in about 15-20 minutes. I gave 3 stars because all other reviews I read were generally favorable and we didn't have anything with sauce or pasta, so our experience may have been an anomaly. I love veal marsala and have tried it in a lot of Italian restaurants, but it was so far from good and so many problems, I wont have it here again. BUT, I will try them again and have something a little more mainstream Italian and update my review.

    When I first sat down their was a short wait time as the restaurant was just opening and then they delivered delicious garlic bread with just the right amount of garlic. After eating the bread and ordering the food came. I had ordered the Lasagna. It arrived on two very hot, stacked plates bathed in sauce. The fact that the plate had been under the warmer was apparent as the thin, bottom layer of the sauce was stuck to the plate. The main problem of this dish was the excessive, though very good, amount of sauce. The Lasagna had meat, mushrooms, Ricotta cheese, and sauce. The mushrooms were few, the Ricotta cheese portion spot on, and the meat sparse. Overall it was good but could use more meat and less sauce.

    Great lunch specials, seriously great deal. $7 for a Fettuccini Romano, add $1 for Broccoli. They also have pizzas, panini's, salad/salad (unlimited), and spaghetti with meatballs for lunch specials. All of them are less than $10. This includes free fresh bread sticks. Service was attentive and frequent, there were a handful of other tables but I never had to wait for anything including beverage refills. The dinner prices are a bit higher but still average for the suburbs.

    Great Italian food! Very flavorful food. We were thrilled with their use of fresh herbs. Very charming inside too. My dish had bruschetta flavors. Can't wait to go back and try another dish!!

    Andiamo!! Every time I passed by it, it felt it's calling me to hurry up and come have dinner there. I always passed it going to my ex boss' house after or before our work road trip. He's Italian and when I saw the sign, I always unconsciously said it out loud. First, maybe because I have been trying to learn Italian for my upcoming trip there. Second, I'm just a weirdo who likes to read signs out loud (I'm a Tesla's fan, not the original). My boss asked me about it - "do you know what Andiamo means?" I said... "Si, giddy up." He laughed and answered me in Bronx Italian accent, "Heyy, not bad for an Asian girl." That's right. Finally, I made it here with Dita and Vivi the other day because I was craving spaghetti. I had been in rice and beans diet for a week and wanted pasta. I got my craving satisfied. Surprisingly, the place was bigger and nicer inside. The outside though looks nice too, it gave an impression of super casual almost semi fast food restaurant. Maybe because the sign reminded me of Sbarro at the mall. However, it was quite wonderful inside for a suburban strip mall restaurant. Dita and Vivi were seated already with some bread sticks that I was readily and happily welcomed. It was good and I ate almost two of them. I can't really put up a good fight with warm bread sticks. I quickly rolled over with paws in the air. I ordered my must have on first visit at Italian restaurant, and it was the Dita's special - Chicken Parmesan. Dita ordered chopped salad and Vivi ordered the meatball panini. I should have ordered meatballs because that was what I wanted but I was sticking with my Italian restaurant creed like I was a made woman that burned a picture of a Saint about chicken parm -St. Judith, the patron of chicken. My chicken parm was pretty good. I liked the chicken and spaghetti okay but not loving the marinara sauce. It was so sweet. Dita said she liked her sauce sweeter and she got irritated with me when I brought up the comment Andy G made that she had a palate of a 10 years old. Hehehe. She was loving her salad that was chicken free. It even had pepperoni. Vivi said her meatballs sandwich was good and her fries tasted like Arby's fries. Sounded like a slam but it's actually a pat as Arby's curly fries are the shit. The coffee.. Now the coffee was good and strong. It will make you go andiamo in a flash! I really enjoyed that strong, thick, big cup of coffee. I know Dita really liked this place and I liked it okay. I didn't think it was bad but not out of this world. I had a bite of the meatballs and it was tasty. I am open to come back for meatballs and give it a whirl. Not going andiamo for the second time but I'll come back for sure soon enough.

    We arrived at the restaurant at 6:45 pm on a Wednesday evening. This was singularly the slowest experience that I have had in a restaurant in a long long time. The food took 54 minutes to arrive at the table.... Pasta... 54 minutes. How is that even possible? We were a party of 4 - myself and 3 of my children. 54 minutes for children's pasta. The restaurant was about half full but was so loud that we gave up trying to have conversation eventually. People trying to talk to each other in the restaurant were literally screaming. As I write this, it is now 8:25 and we are still waiting on a to go box for the children's food. This is one hour and 40 minutes already committed to pasta. The pasta was good, nicely sauced. About average. The atmosphere was horrible - between the raging screaming and the incredibly uncomfortable awkward rounded bench seat. One hour and 50 minutes... Still waiting for our to go containers. They just arrived. This is not a restaurant that can survive if this is what can be expected. Couple the horrific wait for food with the horrific wait for to go containers and the horrific noise level and you have a recipe for a culinary abortion of an evening. The waitress Ariana B and the decent quality of the (all be it Americanized) pastas are the only thing keeping this from being a single star review. And really, it was only the waitress. She was awesome with my disabled son - not something that happens at every restaurant. She should really be given a raise and a pair of ear plugs so she doesn't suffer permanent hearing loss from working in a restaurant so horribly loud that my ears are legitimately still ringing and I have been out of there for 15 minutes now. The management seemed to be absent or simply didn't care that the food was coming out ungodly slow and that the noise level was painfully loud. A dining experience like this sucks. I wanted to like this place, but if tonight was any indication of how they are I suggest you AVOID it.

    Father's Day and this is what my dad picked. I called to make a reservation just in case it was busy but it was not needed, when we went we were some of the only people there, but by the time we left it was picking up. Our server was very good, I had a thousand questions about different dishes and she helped steer me toward what I wanted. My dad got some spicy shrimp concoction that he liked, and looked amazing. My kiddo got a pepperoni pizza, which he also liked, and it came with orange Fanta (he's a fan) and ice cream dessert. I got the grilled mahi mahi with coconut risotto and red pepper curry sauce and pineapple salsa. It was good! A little bland, but overall exactly what I was looking for. I know it's italian, but I didn't want anything overly heavy. Beers were on happy hour special, and they start you off with bread with oil and vinegar. I'd come back if someone specifically requested it, but the menu didn't tempt me enough for me to come back on my own.

    Environment was nice, service was good, then the food arrived, felt like there was no love put into this food, and you can't have good Italian food with no love. Who puts balsamic vinegar on chicken marsala? Yuk!!! The lasagna was bland and mediocre with a capital M. Same goes for the manicotti. Get someone in that kitchen who knows what they are doing and then you'll be walking money bags to the bank.

    Seriously good food. Friend had the tenderloins wrapped in bacon with a dark colored wine sauce. It was outstanding. Cannoli was excellent. I had the ciopino soup...it was excellent, but needed a lot more seafood in it. Our server was very good (the restaurant at the time was not very busy, but still good service). Chocolate cake was excellent. Friend had the spicy sausage and pepperoni pizza, which comes with blue cheese on it. Very strong, and very nice touch. Excellent. 3.5-4 stars for food, and 4 stars for service.

    My wife and I had a $40 Groupon to this Italian place in a strip mall. They had these cool glass pieces that had Italian grape (Wine) things that gave a great ambiance to the establishment I ordered an Inversion IPA to start it off. My wife ordered a pizza without cheese and oil. I ordered the Ciopinno (Seafood stew) My wife talked me into it, because we didn't get it when we were in San Francisco. The stew came out HOT! but it was great. When I say great, I mean one of the best dishes I have ever had. The free bread came out and it was super garlicky. We both loved it! Our waiter was awesome, he refilled my wife's Diet Coke about 3 times. I would normally never order an $18 dish,but we had money to spend. I spread the plethora of clams and mussels and shrimp and this thick risotto that was like a filet Mignon in pasta form. It melted in my mouth. It was possibly the best Italian dish I have ever had. The juice put a nice glaze on the two pieces of bread that comes out with it. Then I tried my wife's pizza. It was AMAZING! The crust was crispy, but the basil and tomatoes were like heaven exploding in your mouth. And then Jesus said "You shall have delicious carbs and tomato with basil treat you like the good person you are." This place was awesome!

    The atmosphere of the restaurant is good. I expected some Italian but didn't hear any, they have a working fireplace which specially in the winter goes a long way to give a mood of comfort. Overall I enjoyed being there and the waitress I had was nothing but professional. If you're looking for something a little different this place is pretty good, I had The chicken andiamo and it was a very interested flavor.

    My wife and I went on Valentine's day. I ordered the Cioppino which is supposed to be served over risotto but was brought out over pasta instead. I'm not one to send dishes back but I had been looking forward to this dish since I had made the reservation the week before and having it over pasta just wasn't as good. The management went above and beyond to make up for their error. Nobody is perfect (especially in the chaos that is Valentine's day) and it was great to see the staff and ownership make amends for errors made. The food was exceptional as usual.

    Do you know how it is to meet everyone's dietary restrictions today? I found my answer for that in Eagan in Andiamo. They have a load of vegan/vegetarian dishes (which is always a case with Italian) AND gluten free. I think I have some kind of food God to thank for this. It was a group of 8 people. Yes, it was Monday night so no restaurant was probably completely packed but nevertheless it was great that they were able to seat us immediately. And I already mentioned about gluten free but when I saw the menu and saw "most menu is gluten free" I still had to ask the server which one is gluten free because I just didn't believe my eyes. Order placed and food was totally delicious. For appetizer, we ordered calamari and bruschetta. I didn't sample calamari but judging from the fact that calamari was completely gone in a few minutes, it was good. Bruschetta was also good. Very garlicky. For main course, I had roasted vegetable and goat cheese pizza (gluten free of course). Gluten free dough usually means very flat and kind of heavily chewy but this was done so the bread part was almost like fluffy crackers (rather than hard bread) if there is such thing. Paying bill was the hardest part and it was purely because of our fault. But the waiter was very nice about it and accommodated our rather unusual request of how we split and he didn't skip a beat when I admitted to him that we kind of screwed up in inquiry and he just redid it for us. So we had a very nice outing. Thank you.

    We went for the first time last Friday. We had a group of 9. We were shown to our table immediately and our waitress came right over. We had two KSTP coupons so this made ordering and the bills confusing. But our waitress handled it wonderfully!! She was excellent. Our food came out piping hot. We were given plenty of bread , which made the kids happy. The food far exceeded our expectations of a strip mall eatery. The kids meals came with a generous amount of ice cream . We felt this was money well spent on a meal . We will definitely be back to celebrate more special occasions!!

    If i could give no stars i would. I have been there twice and that is going to be the only times i will ever go there. The first time i went it was a thursday evening. It took forever for us to get our drink order in. When i ordered my dinner i got some penne with sausage mushroom and pepperoni. On the menu that is excatly how it is listed so when it comes out covered with cheese i cant eat it since i cant eat dairy so they send it back to remake. Well waiting the other person has already finished there meal and we have gotten no refills or waitress coming around to even check on us. When the food finally came it was okay nothing to write home about. The second time i went with my husband ordered the same thing this time i asked for no cheese. When it came it is covered in cheese again so again i send it back. No apology was given for messing up my order in fact the waitress came over to us twice once to take our order the other to drop off the check. Horrible service so so food at the atmosphere that everyone has better things to do then to help you makes this one of the worst places i have been.

    We love so close and the great food is a bonus! The food always tastes fresh and it keep us coming back. The atmosphere is warm and you get a real Italian feel. The plates are large so expect to bring home leftovers. Will recommend to friends!

    After passing Andiamo every day on the daily commute, I snagged a Groupon for $30 off and decided to finally give it a try. First, the good: * The service was quick and attentive without being overwhelming * Carafes of iced tea and water are left on the table, which I like much better than constant interruptions from a server with refills. * The food is served piping hot, and in good sized portions. * The pricing is affordable and appropriate for a tucked away suburban location. * Nice ambiance and decor. Now for the "meh". Nothing was bad...just...different. Some good, some not as good. The bruschetta was good-really good-but a little short on basil. Very generous portion size and fresh, bright flavor. The calamari was okay, cooked perfectly and not at all rubbery, but the batter was a little too heavy and greasy. My husband got the lasagna and I could tell he was underwhelmed by it. It appeared to be a lighter and fresher take on most versions. The sauce was comprised of large tomato chunks, the noodles large, thin sheets of pasta, very little cheese. I ordered the Penne Cardinale. It wasn't great, but got better after the first few bites. With a little more roasted garlic, it would have been much better. We were too full to try dessert, but agreed that we would return soon. The bill for four (two appetizers. four entrees, no alcohol) was just under $80 (less than $40 with the Groupon). At that price point, it's easy to return and try more on the menu.

    Andiamo is a pretty fantastic find out in Eagan. My darling boyfriend lives out there, and it can be hard to find good, non-chain places to eat at. We tried out Andiamo for the first time and the night was just full of pleasant surprises. They had a pretty good beer list, and I had a delicious Deschutes Black Butte Porter. To start, I just got a delicious order of lemony garlic green beans. It was a side-order, not a starter, but it was really delicious. For my main dish I got a big giant bowl of pasta. It was the Penne Cardinale, and it was delicious. Now for the crazy good service part. As we were leaving, the waitress accidentally knocked my leftovers on the floor. She had the kitchen make me an entire new order of pasta. Which was awesome because with the serving size that was enough food for lunch, dinner and probably lunch the next day.

    Four stars seems high, but 3 isn't enough. I would say a 3.5. Went there for lunch with some friends and was impressed with the friendly service and atmosphere. The meal was well paced, she kept our refills coming, and the food came hot and at the same time. Most of the table tried their pizzas, and nobody was unhappy with their selection. I tried the Andiamo, which had a spicy cream sauce, chicken, onions and pepperoncinis. It was tasty and had a kick. Good amount of toppings for thin pizza. A couple of us got ceasar salads on the side, and while they were tastier than they looked. I never 'get' why ceasar salads are made with iceburg (I'm a romaine kind of girl), but this one was good and had a flavorful dressing. I"ll definitely go back. It was a great meeting spot for a group of friends on a late weekend lunch. Quiet enough to talk, but bright and friendly. Good food for the price and everybody can find something to eat at a place like this.

    Went here for lunch today because I always go to the CVS across the street and decided to give this place a try. All of their prices,and pics of their menu is online. We got seated right away,we were the only ones there along with another group of old ladies. The waiter gave us the regular menu then a special lunch menu with cheaper dishes under 8bucks each Right away I got a vibe from the waiter that he wasn't going to take us seriously because I look a lot younger than i really am along with the bf we were just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. So with that thought I noticed he didn't give us the best customer service that could have been provided which is a pet peeve for me dining out why should I go out to eat when I could serve myself better getting it to-go... To the food we settled on the fettuccine and spaghetti (both are on the lunch menu for $7) with calamari for appetizer. it was kind of strange the waiter gave us our bread before the pasta arrived which in my opinion should have came the same time as the pasta. Then all the food arrived at once including our app which I was hoping would arrive before the pasta. The size was perfect enough to get you full and nothing left to bring home. I decided on some dessert since the main course was much less than I was expecting we got the cannoli it had bits of what tasted and looked like lemon or orange zest in the cream, my boyfriend really disliked it and I thought it was edible but would definitely not order again. I would give this place another star IF the service was better he added a extra main dish on our bill which I had to mention to get taken off of, the non refills of our drinks, and the lack of attention given to our visit. Prob give this place another try since its so nearby my home and a update will prob be given.

    Food: We ordered the apple salad and Caesar salad, they were fine, nothing special. Then we ordered the fusilli pasta and chicken Marsala. Pasta was fine, nothing unique and the sauce was a bit watery, probably because they didn't drain noodles properly. Chicken Marsala was surprisingly good, chicken was cooked perfectly, the sauce was a bit sweet but it did come with a large portion of fresh roasted vegetables, which were good. Service: Quite disappointing the whole night and the place had maybe only 9 tables full. We were going to order dessert but it took the server 15 minutes after we were finished to come to our table and then another 5 to bring the dessert menus, we decided to just pass. Conclusion: Decent Italian food. Inconsistent service, but friendly. Restaurant is nicer inside than it looks like from outside. Would only go back again if in the area and other people wanted to.

    That's not a full bar.... I've read about it and got a Groupon for it, so we tried it last weekend. I checked the website to see if they had beer and wine or a full bar. I could not find the info, so I called. The young girl who answered the phone told me they had a full bar. Upon entering the bar, we found out very quickly, it was just beer and wine. We had a wine and a beer while waiting for our table. We were quoted 25 mins, but I waited less than 15. We were seated in a corner of the dining area at a wobbly table. I didn't care because at least there was cool air flowing near us. We each started with a Caesar salad which were nothing all that great. A little garlicky with a bit more lemony flavor in a Caesar than I care for. For dinner I had the lemon chicken, dining companion had the Parmesan crusted walleye and a small side of spaghetti. The chicken had a good flavor, but I didn't care for the seasonal veggies that came with. It was a mix of peppers, onions, zucchini and squash - just not my kind of veggies. The walleye on the other hand was delicious. I should have ordered that instead. It had a nice light flavor with a little bit of crunch. The side of spaghetti was nothing all that great. It was however overpriced - $6! The bill after $20 Groupon for a sangria, a beer, 2 Caesar salads, the 2 meals and a side of spaghetti was over $40. For the quality, I think it was a bit overpriced. Like Amy C. said, meh, nothing was bad just different. The place has some charm, especially for a strip mall, but I would not venture back. I did call the manager the following Monday to mention the full bar incident to her. She was very nice and apologized.

    Slightly above average food. Way below average front-of-the house experience. Disinterested wait staff, front end manager seemed to be bartender too and was so flippant it was embarrassing for the restaurant. Won't be back.

    Adiamo has outstanding Italian food for reasonable prices. Today we stopped in for lunch. David our server made excellent recommendations. We had a crispy fried calimari appetizer served with marinara sauce. Our main pasta dishes were fusilli carbonara (bacon, white sauce and green onions) and penne al forno (with a sausage based red sauce). Great sauces. This was our second meal at Andiamo. On both occasions the service was really excellent as was the food. We will eat there again soon.

    A few coworkers and I went to Andiamo for lunch on a Tuesday. The lunch specials were a great value, but there were only a handful of options to choose from. Typical of lunch menus, I suppose, but I couldn't find anything I was dying to try. The underwhelming lunch menu was also evidenced by half of our party ordering off the regular menu. The waitstaff should be trained to serve the needs of the lunch crowd. Most of us in the 8-5 working world need to be out the door at 12:50 during a lunch visit. The waiter should make sure we were not on a schedule before getting our drink order at 12:15, taking our lunch order at 12:25 and not delivering our meals until 12:50. This would have been fixed by simply asking, "Are you in a hurry today?" Why yes, we were. I ended up ordering the chicken parmesan panini. It was incredibly dry, so if you are going to order this sandwich, ask for a side of marinara/extra sauce.

    Our waiter Rickyyy (yes, 3 y's because manager put it like that in their system ha) was amazing and very friendly! The food was incredible and the price was good! I wish it was closer, I'd go more often! Perfect place for a relaxing evening. It just happened to be Valentine's Day with my wonderful girlfriend. :)

    Love this place! Every time we go is fantastic. The salmon and veggies are unexpectedly good. Lots of garlic, but we like it that way. Not overly fancy dining area, but the prices are in line with places with food that is nowhere near as good.

    Nice Italian Restaurant for a "something different" kind of dinner. Not your usual Olive Garden fare. We've tried the Seafood stuffed mushrooms, Fusilli Amatriciana, Fusilli Carbonara, but our all time favorite was the Prosciutto, Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza. Very good! It's worth your time and money to check it out.

    We were lured to this restaurant by the half-price happy hour appetizers and pizzas. It was a Friday night there was plenty of seating. The main dining room area and bar area were nicely decorated. We were seated in the new dining room section in the back. It was nice but could use a little bit more character. I would suggest putting candles on the tables in the back. The server was very informative and responsive. We ordered the artichoke dip. It was one of the best artichoke dips that we have ever had. We also ordered a margarita pizza. It was so so nothing special or nothing terrible. The happy hour specials are a good value and worth going back for.

    I just went here this last week and was pleasantly surprised. I honestly wasn't expecting a lot driving up to the place - it's just in a strip mall type building in Eagan. But I loved it. First off, if you're unfamiliar with the area, you actually have to turn into what looks like a residential neighborhood to get to the little service road that takes you up to the strip mall that Adiamo is in. Once you're up there, Adiamo is on the end of the strip mall and looks pretty plain from the front and side - they have a very small patio area off to one side. The outside definitely doesn't draw you in, but once you get inside the atmosphere is very warm and "Italian" - it made you comfortable and at home. The hostesses were nice, but really young - they seemed a bit distracted or overwhelmed. But they were super friendly. The food is delicious. I'm not sure if I'd call it "outstanding" as Mike had; however, it is good. I had a caprese salad as my meal and split a side of meatballs with my mother-in-law. The caprese was the best I've had - the tomatoes were fresh and juicy, but not mushy - crisp; the mozzarella was fresh and they gave plentiful portions of both. I appreciated that they didn't overload the salad with balsamic vinegar as some places do because it just overwhelms the natural tastes of the fresh ingredients. And the basil - perfect - fresh and crisp. I also had the Red Sangria and it was very tasty! After dinner, which we had on their very small patio, we went in and had a nightcap at the bar. The bartender here is WONDERFUL! He has such a great personality! Definitely try this place out - I'll go back again sometime.

    After the great experience which I recounted in my initial review I've been back here a handful of times. That initial great experience has never been duplicated and I now regret writing that review after just one visit. I guess now we know why the professional reviewers go a few times before singing praises or launching skewers. The way I feel now? This place sucks. It isn't a food problem, either. It is a personnel problem and I think it starts at the top. I've had great service there once, my first visit. Every other time has been adequate(as in did their jobs but barely) to terrible and culminating in my last visit in which they topped terrible by being rude and offensive. It is a place like this that makes you appreciate other restaurants that hire staff that are even just adequate. In my last visit, we sat in a bar booth. The bar was empty save for an elderly couple dining in the booth behind ours. While waiting to be brought a menu, said hello to, acknowledged in any way I witnessed a parade of Andiamo staff visiting the table behind. A blonde waitress, a dude in a suit, mgr i would guess, some other dude with an apron, the host that sat us. VIP treatment they got. Finally after 20 minutes I got out of my booth and tracked down the host and asked him to send someone over to the table because nobody had come yet. No apology he just ran off to the kitchen yelling. Finally, 5 minutes later the blonde waitress ambles over Why did I wait 20 minutes to flag someone down you ask? Well, when blondey had been waiting on the VIP table, she and I made eye contact and I assumed she was our waitress and would be along shortly as she obviously now knew of our presence. I was also in a great conversation with my partner and the time passed quickly. So blondey comes over and offers a quick one word "sorry" before launching into an excuse of mr. host didn't tell her we were there and she never saw us. haha! We made eye contact baby, you looked right at me. Of all the stupid excuse to come with lol! After expressing my displeasure she again offered up stupid excuses about being so epic busy and took our order and left. There were three tables occupied in the entire restaurant, which I noted when I was tracking down Mr. Host. Mr. host popped his head in the bar and looked at me a little bit later but didn't say anything. I suspect he is more than a host the way he ran around the restaurant screaming his head off. Younger guy, accent. My suspicion he's some relation to the owners but bleh, who cares. No believable apology, no sincerity, no offer to make anything right or appease us for ignoring us for so long. Time is valuable, if you waste mine, I certainly am not going to be happy about it. We should have just walked out and I was incredibly tempted to dine and dash but no, I'm honest so I paid, full price. If blondey had half a brain she would have sent a mgr over or at least offered some kind of discount for that meal or a future one. Sadly she lived up to the blonde stereotype. I hope she understood why I left no tip. I didnt ask for a manager, or a discount, or anything because I had already decided this would be my last visit to this craphole. Nothing they could possibly do could make up for a series of bad visits culminating with this disaster. I have given this unprofessionally run slop house too many chances. The chances ran out and I will not be back. I will also talk this place down on every forum and to every person I ever discuss restaurants with. They earned it

    It was not bad but I've had better. I'm going back and forth on 2.5 & 3 stars. Dining companion wanted to try this place so of course I went along. We were seated in the back in the corner which was fine with me. We both had a Caesar salad. It was nothing special. Dressing was kind of lemony. I had a Parmesan crusted walleye that was pretty good. It was pretty much what I expected. The vegetables served with the walleye were also good, but nothing special: zucchini, squash, peppers and onions. I also ordered a side of spaghetti to taste the pasta and sauce. The sauce was pretty good. If I was more of a pasta eater I would come back for that. This is kind of a lame review, but the entire experience was unremarkable. The meal was around $60 before tip. A little too much for what I got out of it. Unless someone else wants to come here, I will probably not be back.

    I went there tonight with family. We were all very pleasantly surprised with the food and service. The two Italian restaurants that had been there previously had both gone out of business. The food was great! I got the lemon chicken and it was cooked perfectly, so moist and tender the way chicken should be. The small caesar salad was a great starter! Everyone else was very happy with their meals. I saw the owner of the restaurant as I was walking in which is nice to know that he is there and cares. The service was good but a little slow at first.

    Very clean restaurant. Service felt a little bit rushed toward the end of dinner. Everyone I was with really, really liked their food. The arancinis were very delicious but thats about it for me. I ordered the lasagna bolognese and I thought it was just ok. Shared a caprese salad and the tomatoes looked unripe. That is kind of an important ingredient to get right. The cannolis tasted odd. I have always thought they should be cream filled these had custard. Go here and give it a chance just don't order the items I did, except the arancinis!

    This is one of my favorite restaurants since the food is amazing and they have a fabulous gluten free menu. They have all sorts of pastas that are gluten free and pizzas that are gluten free. They even have a wonderful gluten free macaroni and cheese! The bar area can get a little loud but its usually my favorite area to sit and eat - maybe watch a game on one of the three TVs in there. Great food - great service. Definitely must try if you haven't been there.

    Nice Italian restaurant in Eagan. My wife says five stars, and I agree except for the breadsticks and oil. Chicken Marsala was great, pizza excellent. Comfortable but busy atmosphere, reasonable prices.

    My boyfriend and I went to Andiamo with my parents on a Friday night. The place was busy so I'm glad we made reservations. We came here due to Groupon and our waitress added that it had been more busy lately because of Groupon, so I would suggest making reservations. Since it was busy, our service was just okay. Our waitress didn't seem very attentive to filling our drinks or taking our order quickly. On to the food, we ordered the Bruschetta as an appetizer, which we thought was good. Dinner also came with free breadsticks. My bf had the Chianti Short Ribs. They were delicious! Very tender and great mashed potatoes. I had the Fusilli Amatriciana, which I thought was slightly spicy (which I liked). My mom ordered the Manicotti. I didn't try it but she said it was good. My dad ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. He liked his as well. I would definitely recommend this place. The food was reasonable priced and delicious.

    Our server was clearly having a bad day and so we tried to cut him a lot of slack and be patient. But "I'll be back in a minute to take your order" turned into almost 20 minutes. And trying to get the check was another long stretch of playing the waiting game. The restaurant was not all that busy, maybe half full, with other servers working the floor as well. The food averaged out, my chicken and garlic mashed potatoes were pretty good. My date's pasta, not so much. Bland noodles in an over sugared sauce. The portions were huge. Even by American standards. I was brought two chicken breasts and the pile of mashed potatoes filled the other half the plate in a heaping pile. So if you're really hungry, it could be a good place to go. Just don't get the pasta.

    Showed up right before happy hr ended and had a great meal with my husband - calamari app, 2 pizzas, wine and dessert for $32 (with leftovers for a 2nd meal)! All the food was good, restaurant had warm casual ambiance, service was friendly - we will definitely return!

    This is it, a neighborhood place that is FABULOUS! The service is wonderful, the food is amazing and the staff are so friendly you feel like you are part of the family. Prices are so reasonable and the food is high quality and chef inspired. Went with our family of 4, kids can't wait to go back, and neither can we!

    Great surprise! We walked in and it was packed which is a good sign for a place that wasn't "brand" new. The food was very good, my wife and i shared bruschetta (I would've skipped the onions...a little over powering) a mixed green salad with gorgonzola and a delicious bottle of wine. My wife had the spaghetti and meatballs which was simple, straight-forward and delicious and I had the Shrimp Arrabiata which was very flavorful and light. Even though it was extremely busy everyone working was very nice an welcoming. Above all, what I am most excited about is the happy hour specials and being within walking distance!

    If you like bland Italian, this is your perfect restaurant. Nothing tasted bad, it hardly had any taste. Couldn't they have found some garlic, some pepper, something? We had their salad, tomato bruschetta, walleye, and chicken marsala. Everything bland, bland, bland. Even the complimentary breadsticks were little more than something you would get from the Pillsbury dough boy. It was our first time and we were using a Groupon and wanted to try it since it was so close to our home. Go to Stephano's instead and don't waste your money here.

    Love this place! Had a great experience the other night. We ordered the Shrimp Arbiata along with the Fusilli Carbonara. Everything was cooked to perfection! I didn't catch our servers name but, he was very attentive and the service was great. The chef even stopped by and checked on us! Definetly recomend this place... FIVE stars!!!!!

    Shame on a reviewer who compared Andiamo to an Olive Garden! This was my second visit and I had brought company from out of town. Given the history of its predecessors I was a little worried that my first visit was a fluke and I would be served iceberg lettuce 'a la Bibo. Well, my guests RAVED over their food. Whew! We had lemon chicken, cheese cannaloni and caprese salad. Bread sticks were yummy and the service was great. Everything is a la carte so you won't get any pasta or salad with your meat entree. My only tiny complaints were not enough basil on the caprese and I asked for balsamic vinegar and got some kind of balsamic reduction that was sticky. The lighting where we sat (close to the kitchen) had a weird vibe to it. Can't put my finger on it (dingy?). However, this won't keep me from returning often. Thank you Andiamo for finally bringing quality hand made food to Eagan.
