Their delivery service is great and the food is still warm when you receive it. But the prices are slightly high

So here's the deal with this place.... The food is very good. However, if you want a delivery, expect to wait over an hour... Every time I have placed an order with them it takes me calling 3 or 4 times before they actually deliver my food. they never apologize, they don't seem to think its an issue that it takes forever. Although I really like their food, I hate ordering from there because of their lack of customer service and delivery times. If you can't deliver on time, don't offer it on your website. Its sad. My office would do a ton more business with them if they could get their act together.

Grilled sandwiches are great. Eat, relax and watch some sports on TV. I've eaten there 4 times this year and it's excellent.

I eat lunch or breakfast at Metro Deli several times a week. My favorite sandwich is the Lean & Lite Turkey pita, which like all other items on the menu, they will allow you to customize (and I do) Lots of other salad and sandwich options. I also recommend the fresh chicken bowl. They will sometimes have stuffed peppers as a special and they are delicious. Good soups as well. Overall the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and seem to remember everybody's names.

Its not closed today as stated. I am so thankful to this quality, small deli for saving my life 3 times a week. Its mildly overpriced but the do a good business for the work lunch crowd. Chili, wedding soup , warm reubens, and salads are reliable.

Disappointing, the quality of food has gone down. Definitely not worth the price. Their tuna pasta has zero tuna In it. I suspect they do well because they have a captured market, especially in the winter. Go across the street to Jimmy Johns, and no I don't work there.

This is a hard review for me to write, because I love the staff! Steve the owner is polite and kind, and know everyone by name. The women up front are helpful and engaging. Unfortunately, the food leaves something to be desired. I have eaten here countless times because I work in the building, and honestly it does not impress me. I find it expensive and the food quality to be quite low. For example, i ordered a gyro once for lunch. The delux includes waffle fries and a drink for $7.99. The waffle fries are always over seasoned - too salty. The gyro was just a hot mess. The pita was mushy and almost "moist", the meat, spicy, but questionable in texture. It was thick and rubbery. The tomatoes wer an odd red. Like they are purchased by a cheap produce supplier who icreases the appearance of their fruit with supplements/enhancements. Now on to the sauce. The sause was served on the side. I opened it up and it was runny, water runny - and it was ranch. That's right! No tzaziki sauce for me! RANCH!!!! At that point I was grossed out and could not proceed. In addition, if you purchase under a certain dollar amount and put it on your debit card, they will charge you a $2 processing fee - that is NOT reflected on your receipt. Overall, I'd say skip if you can - unless they have their potato soup - then just make sure you pay cash.

Still eating lunch at Metro Deli almost everyday and today was no exception. Friday's special is the bacon cheesburger deluxe. Totally yummy for $6.99 and comes with seasoned fries and a 20 oz. fountain drink. Burger was done to my exact specifications (Swiss instead of American cheese and nix the mayo). Fries were hot and crispy. Oh and did I mention it comes with a dill pickle spear? Well, it does. Double yum. Stop by, grab a bite to eat and say hi to Steve. You won't regret it.

do not buy a $10 for $20 voucher. yelp is lying to you and the owner of the establishment never agreed to honer this. he was a very nice and polite fellow who apologized for the inconvenience...but do not trust yelp...you can't even get a hold of them to get your money back. the food at metro deli is amazing btw.

I have no complaints about Metro Deli - its a tiny bit overpriced in my opinion but they do offer coupons, and its not overpriced enough to stop me from going there. They do have decently priced lunch specials too (I just happen to always order items not part of the lunch special) I have never had a bad lunch here - the food is always fast, fresh and tasty and I especially love the soups they offer and the chocolate chip cookies. Not to mention, the people who work there are always so nice. I haven't ever had them deliver so I can't comment on that (I work within walking distance). I have placed orders by calling, online and also - just walking in an ordering. Always easy and hassle free. Its definitely one of my go to spots for a quick lunch.

I don't post many yelp reviews but felt compelled to do so here. I flew in from Chicago and needed a place to eat prior to my meeting. I saw the other yelp reviews on the metro deli and figured I'd try it out. Boy, was I impressed! Steve, the owner, was so nice and friendly. I asked him to recommend a Panini to me that was filling and healthy. I had the Italian Panini with minestrone soup. It was D licious!! I highly recommend the metro deli if you're in the area. I know I will come back here again if I am.

Great spot for lunch! Healthy options and very affodable. Nice and clean dining area with a big tv. Inside of a corporate building but definitely my new go-to spot in Troy for a good bite to eat. Get the chicken gyro combo! Also keep an eye out for specials, I paid $5 for $10 which I was able to get a huge awesome lunch. Great service too!
