Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Great Pizza! Ordered from here when couldn't get Silver Beach to answer their phone! Glad they didn't, would have missed on DiPisa's great pizza and cheesy bread! The Margherita pizza was great!

Don't be fooled by the looks of this place, they actually have some good pizza. Not a huge fan of the crust though, a little tough. The pizza is also reasonably priced. I would come here again.

Pizza is mediocre, they do not offer an Italian Beef sandwich (odd for a pizza restaurant), and their $9 chicken salad was smallish and had very few toppings on it, including CHICKEN (8 small chunks). The staff was nice (local teens), though they were not very well briefed on their menu items. Pricing is higher than normal (for the area) for smallish quantities of food. You will leave this restaurant feeling frustrated and hungry.

Very rude owner, pizza was good and the waitress was nice and helpful but the owner treated everyone of my party with disdain even though we spent more than $200 there this past summer. We have avoided the place ever since.

They provided exactly what we were looking for but went above what we expected. Just driving through Stevensville on the way home and looked on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The breadsticks were really good as was the pizza. My husband is fairly picky on pizzas and found the crust of this one to be extraordinary. The cheese was pretty heavy and would probably ask that be lighter on the next order. The kids meals were actually perfect - simple, inexpensive and a good portion for a kid.

The pizza is pretty good, could use more sauce.

Went here on a recommendation of a friend. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. The crust was thin and chewy, maybe a bit too chewy for my taste. It was a good value. The weekday special was 2/$15 pizzas with up to three toppings. Might try it again. The sandwiches looked interesting.

Love the pizza and cheesy breadsticks! They have a great selection of fresh pizza toppings. I always get a side of sauce because it is so yummy!

Not the worst pizza I have ever had but I would not go out of my way to eat here. Crust was very good but the rest leaves a lot to be desired. Pepperoni was just laid on top and not cooked. Don't order a salad either

My favorite restaurant in SW Michigan. I grew up in CT, the home of legendary pizza. While this pizza doesn't compete, the unpretentious local vibe, caring service, excellent lasagna and stripped down setting is the best that I know of in this area. The owners care about their customers and their food.

This stuff is true Italian pizza. Everything else is just cheap. You must do the deep dish pizza here and pick one of their speciality pizzas. You will not regret it! One large pizza lasts my husband and I 3 1/2 meals each and we are BIG eaters!

As I have become bored with the options in Saint Joseph, I decided to give Dipisa's a try. I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed the crust. In my opinion, the crust is the perfect balance, not too heavy or too light. I would happily pay for extra toppings as they were sparse. There is a Domino's a few doors down and I assume in order to compete, they had to lower their prices which in turn led to less toppings.

My friend gets take out from here and the pizza is awesome. I heard there's a special on Sun - Tues evenings for 2 pizzas for $18. Not sure what size they are but I've had their pizza several times and it's consistently great.
