Loved this place! Food was good and the pictures on the walls were great! Nothing bad to say!!

Borderline one star... the wings barely saved it. I came in here at about 6:30pm on a Friday with a couple friends. First strike: no sign of whether we seat ourselves or wait for the hostess. We sat ourselves, but stood for a few seconds while looking around to make sure someone saw us sit down. Second strike: the place was too dark. I know restaurants tend to dim their lights at night, but it needed some more lighting. We decided to split 24 wings, get an order of beef nachos, and a side of fries. The waitress said she didn't know if they'd honor the 50% off an appetizer Yelp offer because it only applies when you buy an entree, but they gave it anyway -- much appreciated. Strike three: it was probably an hour after we got there that we got our food, and the restaurant was less than half full. Strike four -- okay, I'm done with the strikes at this point.... what sauces were which on the wings? The honey mustard wings were the only ones distinguishable. The hot garlic fries and cajun ones could be anyone's guess. One set of wings tasted like mild/medium spiced buffalo wings, and the others tasted pretty much like standard/mostly unseasoned wings. All of them were still juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, but the sauces apparently need some work. The nachos were alright, but seriously nothing special. You'd be better off making your own at home, because they'd taste or better the same for a more reasonable price. Dried-to-the-chip shredded cheese, dry meat, and a slim portion of vegetables? Very underwhelming. The fries were almost certainly from the freezer bag, but they were hot, crispy, and only two bucks, so I can't really complain about htat. All-in-all, the service is what will keep me from returning. The wings are some of the better ones I've had, but they're definitely not worth waiting up to an hour for in an empty restaurant. Very forgettable experience. Thanks for the half off appetizer, Your Mothers, but you really need to get your kitchen situation figured out: it doesn't take an hour to fry and sauce some wings.

Good place for lunch. Had the Cajun burger which was perfectly cooked and very fresh. Loved the home-made bun! Fries should have been cooked longer, but were acceptable. Friendly service!!

My husband and I came late at night (right before kitchen closed) & tried several favors of wings. Our favorite was the lemon pepper. We would definitely come back. The food was priced well. The wings were whole not the little wing dings. It was very filling!

We popped in to mothers tonite. Appetizers were fast and very fresh (fresh out of the freezer) tasty jalapeño peppers. Salads were fresh but the ranch was very watery. Caesar and blue cheese perfect. I had the chicken Parmesan, the pasta was good, the chicken tough but bearable. My partner has what can be described a sausage and peppers deep in grease, real deep, swimming. We pointed it out to the server, she was hostile and immediately jumped in with "we are not taking it off the bill". Ok we said, paid and left. The tip we would have left would have been more than the entree. Very average restaurant with way below average service, Shame because the beers were ok and the location good, a candidate for Chef Ramsay this one.

I love this place!!!! Great bar tenders and great food. I go to your mothers a few times a month and always get great service.

I had a late lunch there today. It was a little pricey, but the sandwich was good (Roast Beef -n- Cheese). I was the only customer, so it was relatively quiet. Nice setting for a downtown bar.

Great little hole in the wall downtown. Good prices, ice cold beer... this is a nice gathering place!

Stopped in for only a drink or two on a Sunday at 6 pm. Only one person working as hostess/ bar tender / waitress. Dont know if cheap on the help or no one showed up for work. Never had chance to order drink 2, gave up after waiting 20 minutes.

Your Mother's is one of my favorite places, good grub, nice atmosphere and when you're lucky, Laurie is behind the bar. The menu offers the standard bar fare plus some other yummies that I love. Good Pizza, but oh, those Wings! Pasta dishes are great, and the Wings. I'm sure the burgers are great too, but the Wings. Have I mentioned the wings? The biggest meatiest, juicy morsels coated in your choice of sauce. I'm hooked on the Honey BBQ, the perfect balance of smokey, sweet and spicy deliciousness. And sticky, yummy, finger-licking, thumb sucking sauce. They make everything fresh, including the yummy bread and garlic butter that is served with meals. Go! Get the Wings! Now!

A nice place to stop for an Old Fashioned or a Martini! Only way I could describe this place is as a Martini bar, complete with a Rat Pack soundtrack, dimly lit bar and service with a smile. I noted that they have Fat Tire on tap and a couple of others like Shock Top and some Sam Adams products. Nothing local to speak of, but there is enough of a selection if you want something other than a mixed drink or glass of wine. Didn't get a chance to eat here, but I did note that there is a Yelp! check-in offer for a discounted appetizer, I hope to get back here soon and use that up!

This place is perfect to go have lunch, dinner and a drink, hang out, and watch a game. Service is good and friendly. The food we tried some burgers and shared some wings. The burgers were very good. Now the wings were awesome, some of the best I ever had. For sure the wings are a must have. I found out every Monday they have the wings on special for 45 cents each. You can not go wrong!

Thursday night is the best and only reason to go to Your Mothers Bar. One reason: Trivia!!! My friends and I attend every Thursday night from 8-10 pm for the My Trivia Live game. Etienne is a wonderful trivia host who has the perfect demeanor to efficiently run the game but also be funny and witty, keeping the participants engaged. The bartender, Laurie, is one of the best in town. She has an upbeat and welcoming attitude and mixes great cocktails too. Never a disappointment. The decor is clean and typical contemporary downtown American tavern accompanying the same type of bar food. Plus, since the bar is near the courthouse, all jury duty members get 20% off their meal bill. Nice! If you want something fun on a weeknight without loud banging dance-club beats, then bring your friends and come to Your Mothers Bar for some good times.

I haven't been to Mt. Clemens since my 20's, and happened to go back last night. An out of town friend wanted to go and revisit our old stomping grounds. It hasn't changed unfortunately. The place still has really loud music, to the point where you have to scream to the person next to you to have a conversation. It was terribly smokey, and the servers were a little confused as to who had what table. I ordered the same beer twice, being as I was neglected the first time. The clientele is the same, the chach guys, the chain-smoker haggard girls. There is even a punching bag machine to prove how macho the guys really are. Really? There is a reason why I stopped coming here and I remembered why last night.

Good food, decent prices and cool atmosphere. The wings are pretty darned good too.

Came here with my mom last night for a late dinner. The place was pretty empty and the service was top notch. I've been on a quest trying to find the best nachos in Metro Detroit. While these weren't the best they were very good and a good deal at $7.99. My mom had a burger and a side salad and she said both were very tasty. A little bit of a martini snob, I was hesitant to order a dirty here but I'm so glad I did. It was huge and filled to the top and came with a little sidecar with the overflow. The martini was $12 but well worth it since it was about 3 drinks in 1. They also have keno here so I was able to play a little while eating and drinking.

Definitely a favorite bar! The atmosphere is awesome and who doesn't love saying, "Hey we're going drinking at Your Mother's!"? Great service as well!

Love this bar. Good food, good service, attentive bartender. The manager was kicking back drinks like it was his job but the atmosphere was cool. Good bar to go to in the Clem.

I grew up on the east side and look forward to the opportunity to embrace businesses in this area. It is a shame that an unwelcoming and rude bartender will keep me from ever going back to this place. Maybe she was having a rough day, we all do sometimes, but this woman really made an impression in the worst possible way.

Visited at lunch time on a Friday afternoon. Nearly all of the tables were full, which is a good sign. However, the service did not match up to how busy it was. I sat myself at the bar, which was very smoky. Upon walking into a bar area, the 1st thing I notice (beside smokiness) is the draught beer selection. Your Mother's has a decent one - Molson, Bud American Ale, Smithwicks, Guinness, Bud Light, and Shock Top. While none of these would be my first choice, there are a couple decent beers in the group. The menu doesn't stray far from bar fare - burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, fried appetizers, dips, etc. There appeared to a decidedly Italian slant as well as "famous" wings with around 15 sauce choices. I ordered the char-grilled chicken portabella, which was voted as one of metro Detroit's best sandwiches, and fries. The sandwich was good. The chicken was charred well outside and was moist inside. The mushrooms were sauteed in butter, which added a nice sauce in addition to the meatiness of the mushrooms. The butter also helped in keeping the roll from drying out. The roll was warm and crusty and held up well. The lettuce and tomato were flavorless and could have been kept off the plate. The fries were OK - not fresh cut, but hot and crisp. Mother's is an OK sports bar with decent food and lackluster service. There are places out there with a better beer selection and food, so if you're in downtown Mt. Clemens, Mother's is worth a shot, but no need to go out of your way.

One of my favorite bars in downtown Mt. Clemens to go to with a big group of girls. Everyone knows everyone there which makes for a friendly and laid-back atmosphere. There's great food and a fun staff.

Had the chicken wings. Awesome. Both the hot garlic and honey mustard. I'll be back soon. We heard they have wing specials on Monday's, 10 wings for $4.50.

The dreaded letter.....Jury Duty. Mannnn.... Found myself in the middle of downtown Mt. Clemens with an hour and a half to spare at lunch time. Thankfully a good friend works directly across from the court house and suggested Your Mother's for lunch. The place is your typical half way upscale diner with a larger bar, apparently the friend makes this place his stomping ground on Fridays for happy hour. Being a light eater for the lunch meal I was a little taken aback with the menu as I sat down. Everything was a major entree, steak, pasta dishes, fish with two or three sides.... I was a bit concerned...where are the sandwich items? Thankfully I realized after a while that I was given the dinner menu and there was a lunch menu as well! Whew! I ordered a turkey melt sandwich, which came with a salad. I loved the salad, lots of cheese and the bleu cheese was divine. The sandwich was okay, not terrible not great. My dining partner actually ordered a chicken roll up with bacon and ranch and that was great. He actually gave me half of it (and I loved it) because I was not too crazy about my sandwich. I often get let down if my food is just so-so. The service was a bit on the poky side, I sat with an empty cup for a bit but overall she was friendly and I did have an hour and a half to spare. Overall, not a bad place, I would go back but not go out of my way for it.
