Smoky restaurant. Food is nothing special.

I've usually had just takeout here, but their Hamburgers and deep fried mushrooms are excellent.

For bar food in Midland, The Bully is the best. Great breakfast. Good burgers, burritos, nachos, etc. They also have the best fish dinners in town. And now, since the smoking ban, you can go there and smell the same as when you went!

slow service, good beer fries and onion rings, pool tables and kareoke, food was just ok

Lunch and dinner isn't bad and it's the typical bar food. Breakfast however is fantastic. They have all the greasy spoon favorites and they do breakfast right. Their corned beef hash is surprisingly good and the prices can't be beat.

Best breakfast in town! After a long midnight shift, the Boulevard is the place to go! Staff has always been nice, not overly friendly, but nice. It's a nice change from the chain places in town!

This little bar is a midland staple, great bar food, good menu good service, bummer the pool table is gone..They have keno and karaoke, but the bully burger is great, always consistently good love it.

the most unwelcoming place I have ever been to. As we are trying to find our sets servers are rushing past giving dirty looks like we were in there way. Our server was Barbie and was rude from the moment we sat down. I needed a few extra minutes with me menus in which she scoffed at me. Every time I would say something she did not seam to pay attention so when I repeated myself you snapped back that she had heard me the first time. The most impolite and abrupt server I have ever met. On the other hand the food was great . I had just wished the cook would have been our server.

I don't understand why people love it so much. My husband seems to think it's good. Every time we go I order something different. Every time it's just a grease ball on a plate disguised as a burger or sandwich. On the plus side, the beer is cheap.

Burgers and fries in plastic baskets. Beer on tap. Don't expect anything fancy- in fact it seems that the place never changes. There's even a big photo of one of the Dow AC softball team from the 1950s that has probably been hanging since the players came to the Bully.

They're are always in a rush to help you especially in the bar area. Trying to help 3 people at once and cutting you off at time. Too much favoritism

Solid blue-collar joint. Friendly staff, fast service, lots of food, beer prices aren't bad. Come for happy hour and stay all night.

Gave it one final shot for lunch the other day. Still over cooked dried out Burgers. Sad, like I said in the previous post, I've been going there for 25 years. I doubt I will ever go back.

Actually a great atmosphere for a sports bar. I thought that the pop was a tad pricey, but I think that comes with almost any restaurant. I had the club sandwich and my wife had the steak sandwich. Both were fantastic, and we shared our sides of fries and deep fired mushrooms. Smoking is no longer allowed, which for me is great. I will be back for sure.

Knowing this is a classic saloon/bar,pool room, sports bar; and serves food-This place is in the class of "superb". This ain't gourmet, but if you like fish, burgers, and onion rings, this place will really impress you. Well located and easy to find. The waitresses are pros. Attentive, friendly, and really an asset.

Service was terrible the last time I ate here. The waitress didn't check on us much and switched one of the cups with another table's when refilling. She also overcharged us for my meal, but after waiting so long for the check we didn't even want to argue. Food was only ok, in the past it has been better. Toast was pretty good.

When it's a burger or patty melt, it's the bully, food tasty & done right, priced right! A tad noisy, but that adds to the charm.

Good burger. A little overcooked but nice flavor. Service was spotty. Took way too long to get my check.

Was not as smokey as lead to believe. Awesome onion rings. Staff not too attentive/nice. Just OK.

Oh, the Boulevard (Bully). We used to go there and have a great time. However, they eliminated Karaoke and the place got dead.. so we stopped going there. The food is okay but nothing special. The wait staff is okay. Once, one of the people at our table said they would cover the bill. We assumed they would tip at least 15-20%, like we do. But they only gave roughly $5 for a $60 bill. The waitress came back and said "You need this $5 more than I do, so keep it." That was highly inappropriate. So, we kept coming back (When they still had karaoke) weekend after weekend and never tipped her. If she had the nerve to say that, we couldn't justify ever tipping her. That $5 comment cost her more than $200 or more in tips from us. I rated their Lounge a 2/5 because they eliminated Karaoke and because of that one waitress. When they had Karaoke and we got a good waitress, I would rate it a 4/5. The food is okay, standard bar food. But still worth a 4/5.

Cheap drinks, yummy fries, awesome jukebox, and great fun on karaoke night! Servers are sweet and attentive.

A trip to Midland is not complete without a trip to the "bully". You come in sober. You leave slightly tipsy, smelling like cigarettes from head to toe and generally happy. The staff ensured that I always had a beer in hand. Thanks to the "bully" for hosting good times to the class of '89.

It's a bar but it's clean, well-ventilated, and the food is super! I know my burgers and this place has the best in Midland County. I'll admit, I have never tried anything else from their menu because they are "known" for burgers and fries. I have been going there for about 40 years (honestly) and it is consistently the best. I have to drive about 25 miles so I don't get there that often but when we want an excellent burger, the Boulevard is what comes to mind. There are always "best of the best" awards in the local newspapers in many categories. The "Bully" Burgers (as they are commonly called) have always won for the best hamburgs. Even in the Saginaw judging for "best of the best," Midland's Bully Burgers at the Boulevard Lounge have been as one of the top ones even though it's not even in the county! I can't say anything more than to say that never, ever have I been disappointed. It's THE BEST burger in Midland County! And if you're looking at the Tri-County area, I'd say it's one of the two best. (Farmers Home Tavern in Hemlock is as good.) I find I vote for the one I've had most recently.

Decent food. Excellent prices. An update to this is that my wife and I both had a bad experience on the food and have quit coming back. Still a nice place for a cheap beer, breakfast was fine, but we have found other places in town with better and equally cheap food when we do go out for lunch or dinner.
