Fantastic experience. Happened upon them by accident while on a road trip. Affable, helpful staff; tasty drinks and baked goods. I see the disappointed reviewer, and feel bad for them. Had the complete opposite experience, right down to the musicians. They were talented, not in the way, and a joyful surprise. Was already leaving happy when the coffee guy came running out to the car with the baked goods we left on the counter. Service! Thank goodness; the cookie fresh out of the oven was delicious. Have totally marked this place for future human refueling.

This was a disappointment for several reasons. 1. Their bakery selection was extremely limited (2 cupcakes, scones and a cinnamon roll). 2. The cupcake we ordered (something chocolate) was dense and stale. We took one bite and left the rest. 3. There was only one drip coffee selection. 4. The coffee was barely warm. There also were musicians setting up right at the doorway, which made entering and exiting difficult. There was plenty of space for them further down the cafe, out of the way of customers coming and going. We drove out of our way based on reviews. It was a poor use of time, calories and $10.

She's a bit wacky and always funny when you walk in the door. Of course I'm talking about NaDean! If anyone knows how to assemble a latte it's her and her staff that are always smiling. I believe in taking time out for some good old fashioned hand made, specialty coffee type concoctions. If you have questions they will help you and not make you feel like a dummy. I would encourage anyone and everyone to stop in and partake. Don't forget that they have a loyalty card program just like the big boys!

Cool, hipster coffee shop in the small, quaint town of Mattawan. Lots of coffee options. Family friendly. Reasonable prices. Everything is quality. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. My only issue would be that I went one day and they had these amazing espresso chocolate cupcakes and then I went back and they had no baked goods other than bagels. Guess I better get there early next time...that stuff obviously goes quick!

Great place to stop for coffee, or anything off the large selection of coffee based drinks. The staff is always on top of things and always friendly. NaDean is the best!

I love this place. First things first: Italian Custard latte. Just do it. Next, the owner is the sweetest person ever. Love her and love this place. Great coffee.

NaDean did our wedding cake and cupcakes for our wedding reception. The cake, cupcakes and frosting were AMAZING. The flavors were red velvet and salted caramel and worth every penny. She provided great service. NaDean's is highly recommended!!

Love this place!! The owner is the biggest sweetheart. She always makes you feel so welcome, and if you just tell her what you like or what sounds good she will make you something delicious!! And they always have amazing sweets too

If your looking for good coffee and pastries. This is one of the best in the area. It is worth the drive. Fresh made pastries, and a great way to start your morning, or just to take a break. I haven't tried a pastry I don't like.

The owner NaDean made a perfect Americano and the pastries are awesome. Very sweet person. Rumor has it she makes gluten free cookies on Fridays too :)

I just had the best damn cupcake (salted caramel) in my life. If you are anywhere near Mattawan, Mi (exit 66 on I94) be sure and stop in. Tell them Glenn sent you.
