This is by far the best deli ever. If this was located in the heart of Boston, I would buy stock in it. Being a huge Celtics fan, I love the theme and decor here. But it's not what keeps me coming back every week. Their chicken salad is the best I have ever had ( I love chicken salad, willing to bet I've tried almost 100 different kinds) But Full Court's is THE BEST EVER! I call in an order once a week and the girls know me by name, even have perfected my order to my specifications. The only thing that would set this place over the top, is if they would offer free WiFi and an outside deck to eat on. :)

I was lucky to have stopped into Full Court Deli today. Why 5 stars, well the steak and cheese with peppers and caramelized onion was the best I can remember. Nicely shaved and very lean.What really got the last star for me is that they have named a lot of their sandwiches after Boston Celtic greats and of course some cool pictures of Larry Bird and Kevin Mchale that instantly brought back sweet childhood memories. Staff is super friendly, food was served timely and serving size was perfect. Slam dunk.

Often, I pass through Winthrop on my way back from Augusta. I've driven by Full Court Deli but hadn't stopped 'til yesterday. I now have very solid sandwich shop in Winthrop. All their sandwiches and salads are written on a chalkboard near the register. They have an extensive selection of hot/cold sandwiches, wraps, salads, and even burgers. The service is prompt, there are a number of tables inside (and there's takeout, too), and it's a no-nonsense place to grab a bite for lunch; oh, and they are open for breakfast, too, with a number of breakfast items, also. I had the Ravishing Rachel, which was an outstanding turkey club with a rich, Russian dressing. Sandwiches come with a bag of Utz chips and a pickle spear. If you have a hankering for lunch and you're passing through Winthrop on Route 202, don't wait 'til you get to Augusta, or Lewiston if going in the other direction; stop off in Winthrop and satiate your hunger at Full Court Deli.

We were on a long back road trip across Bt, NH and Maine and were looking for lunch. We fortunately happened upon this wonderful sandwich shop. Wide variety of options on fresh rolls. This place does a huge local lunch crowd and I can see why. Quick , clean , and reasonably priced.

I came up for the day from boston for work back in November and I stopped by here after for lunch. Very tasty sandwiches and the people were very friendly. Whenever I get out to Winthrop again, I'll be stopping here.

Best thing about the great sandwiches is you can get (good) gluten free bread as an option. Quite a treat for a person with Celiac!

Full Court Deli is one of my all-time favorite sandwich shops and happens to be located in my home town just off US Rte 202 - very convenient. Great sandwiches, soup and breakfasts, etc. The people are wonderful - owner, employees and diners. You gotta try most of the sandwich specialities - named for basketball favorites but just a plain old tuna on wheat is fresh and yummy.

Don't you just love clean little sandwich shops in little towns? I do! And I love this one. Ask any of the locals where they are going for lunch and they'll tell you Full Court. Ask them if their breakfast sandwich to-go was good and they may just go back down the street and get you one (well they'd do it for me anyway... but they know me...) When I'm in town, I always grab lunch here before I head back to the airport - a must for me!
