Came here on a whim last week because I heard an acoustic singer. Grabbed some $2 Sam Adams. 10 hot girls in here and no guys. So I finally found where they hide. Here on a Sunday for some $4 bloodies and football I'm impressed once again!

I first heard of Siano's while watching a local show about local restaurants. This place just oozed good food. So we decided to go that night and check it out. The food was amazing! We got sweet potato fries as an appetizer...thin cut and crispy with the perfect amount of salt. Then we had a Caesar salad - yum! For pizza we had the Pat's Market, Siano's version of the meat lover's. That was some of the best pizza I ever had. So why the 2 stars? The service. The service SUCKED. It started out okay, but then our waitress decided not to serve us anymore. There was no one to be found when we needed drink refills. To make a long story short, the waitress stood at the back of the restaurant while the manager finally brought us a glass of water, a Diet Coke, and HOT "iced tea". The check came with a $25 gift card, but unfortunately he never came back to pick up our debit card (we waited at least 20 minutes). We got out of there by using the gift card (guess we won't be back) and putting $20 in cash to cover it. The leftover pizza was taken home on one of their complimentary frisbees even though we'd asked for a box when the check came.

Ok, so I am a bit confused about the previous review. Every time I go in here I have good service, weird. But enough about the service....the pizza is what it is all about. Damn good pizza. Honestly I think it is way better than Otto's (which I guess is a local favorite). Great topping selections and the appetizers here are always good too. There are pasta selections too if you are in the mood for that. Hands down, my favorite pizza place in Portland.

We have been going to Siano's since it opened. The food is a outstanding. I have had about everything on the menu, pizza, Italian, fish, steaks, and great salads. There are always several regulars, especially during happy hour, but the atmosphere is always fun, friendly, and family oriented. It is one of our favorites in Portland. There was a brief period when the service was not up to par, but a couple of servers have left and our favorite girl has returned. Parking is a bit limited, but if you are patient you can always find a spot. Well worth the wait !
