Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I love this place so much. It is the best corner store in existence and the standard against which I judge all other corner stores. They have ClamWiches for 1.59. Living in Los Angeles that sort of price just boggels my mind. They are so good, made to order, and cost about as much as 1/2 a cup of coffee. I can't wait to hit this spot up in a few weeks when I go visit Maine again.

This place is amazing. I came for lunch, and it was so amazing, I had to come back later that day for dinner. This is a simple store which sells items you'd find at a nice gas station, including a wide variety of coffee, alcohol, wine, drinks, and snacks. But the real treat here is the grilled food. The food is simple, yet well-done and made-to-order (they also have pre-made food if you're in a hurry). Quality Shop has TONS of grilled food. Thank to the friends I came with, I was able to try a poorboy, burger, fries, and pizza, and they're all very tasty (they also have healthier options like salads and grilled chicken wraps if that's your style). But best of all, the prices here cannot be beat. My friends and I came on a Sunday, which happens to be their 2 for 1 deal on 10-inch pizzas. I also enjoyed the friendly staff during my visits here. The lady at the grill made some recommendations for my first visit, and the other staff members were a pleasure to talk to while we waited for our food. Long story short, if you're looking for inexpensive yet tasty food served by great people, look no further and come to Quality Shop right away! I'll be back soon, to attempt a conquering of the HUGE peanut butter cookie whoopie pie.

I loveeee this place!! It's just a convenience store with a kitchen but they do a great job! I'm always looking for a good sandwich place and this place gets the job done. I've grown to very much enjoy their grilled cheese. But what I like is that I can also get some Doritos which seem to be a rare find at small businesses around here. My boyfriend enjoys the boneless buffalo tenders. My friend likes their selection of green mountain coffee and wine.

The Quality Shop is such a helpful neighborhood store to have around! Its accessible, fast, friendly, and delicious. The homemade desserts should not be missed! If you get the pre-made breakfast sandwiches, go for the english muffin instead of the bagel - they get damp and chewy. The hash browns are GREAT though!!!

Oh my god - this place suffers from a severe case of poor branding! "Quality Shop" just doesn't do it justice. Okay, do this: if you're at the Quality Shop, buy one of their cookie whoopie pies. NOW dang it - before they're all gone! The molasses cookie whoopie is to DIE for and the oatmeal? So. So. Good. If you are not at the Quality Shop right now, make a note that you NEED to take one of these treats home - they're right next to the register. Holy amazing. This place could open up its own bakery - trust me, I know my way around a table of baked goods, I wouldn't praise just any cookie or whoopie. High standards! Yes, Quality Shop has sandwiches, yes they have pizza, yada yada yada - but dang, those desserts are amazing. I come here just for them - the chicken salad sub is a nice bonus...

I love this little gem in Deering Center. The place hasn't really changed since I was a teen and that was long ago. The Italians are great, the wine selection is tops and the people who work there are real. I can run to this little store for most any thing on my list.

I grew up in the Deering area my whole life and I can safely say that Quality shop has always been fantastic! Sundays deal of buy one get one pizzas is a steal. Good beer and wine selection, good portion sizes and very fair prices. You really can't go wrong here and the people that work there are always greeting me with a smile.

I come from a big city and after living in Portland I got the opportunity to shop and dine at many "mom and pop" shops. The Quality Shop is one of them. Not only is their service quick and friendly but their food is delicious!! This convenient little shop has saved me from hunger pangs. I don't have a car in Portland and school keeps me pretty busy so going to the nearest grocery store takes forever. But with the Quality Shop I can buy the necessities to hold me off until I get a chance to go to the grocery store. To try: **clam bakes **gyro **breakfast bagels **onion rings **haddock sandwich **lobster roll **calzone **eclairs **brownies

We love the Q-shop! We visit every Sunday to partake in their fantastic small pizza special (2 for 1!!!). My husband and daughter also love visiting on Saturdays. We are happy to visit on other days of the week, too! It's corner store pizza but I am convinced that they bake them with love!

Great place to stop and grab a quick sub. Food is always delicious and no matter how many people are in the place it comes out quickly. Would suggest the "Italian" with what ever you enjoy on it.

I love the quality shop! I have had many meals from here and gotten some basic needs items in a pinch when I lived really across the street. They have a great selection of wines at reasonable prices.. pretty large considering the stores size. Good morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches. It is a great place to meet folks from the neighborhood. I love deering center.. it is the best place I've ever lived in Portland. I don't know who provides there baked goods.. they are a local outsider.. right now I am eating the most amazing hermit cookie.. it is so fresh and cinnamony and the raisins are super soft. The only teeny tiny complaint.. I've bought tons of salads there and.. really really one black olive per salad? I'd be happy with two.

If I had to choose my last meal, it would be from here. Great staff, that are very welcoming! Ryan always knows what I want without even having to say so! Makes you want to go back time after time. Favorites: Pickles they use, the soft fresh rolls, m&m brownie cookie, breakfast sandwich, home fries If you haven't gone, you're missing out.

Yo maybe it is weird to write a review of a convenience store? But I've been in here basically every day, sometimes twice a day, since moving to the neighborhood. Sometimes you just want an oily italian or a quick breakfast sandwich or a few beers or maybe you just ran out of laundry detergent or, alternatively, you need to eat a lot of junk food in front of the TV tonight. And everyone is very nice! Also I really like the iced coffee they've got.

The Quality Shop is God's gift to Deering Center. They have reasonably priced beer and nice fresh sandwiches! The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part, and you really feel like you are in a neighborhood store. One thing to note is that the Q is really busy during lunchtime when school is in session, crazy.
