Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

My girlfriend wanted dinner and I just wanted a scoop of peppermint ice cream and keep her company. I had had a horrible day. They would not serve us because we did not order enough. Did I mention the place was empty. I have never in my life been treated so poorly. I was speechless. One star is too many

Where do I begin... The restaurant is like something out of an old Kung Fu movie. The decor is definitely in need of an update. Maybe its the smell of old basement or the booths that look like old Cadillac bench seats that initially put me off, but getting past that the food is great for a strip mall Chinese place. I would definitely come again, but set my expectations a little bit lower. If you dine in avoid eating any of the appetizers you didn't specifically order especially anything left on your table.

This place has a great atmosphere. The crispy noodles are excellent. The portions are very large and the food is pretty decent. It's not always consistent, but when the food is good, it is really good.

My friends and I ordered carryout from Dragon House on a whim after neglecting them for a few years. After I got my food home (after a less than three minute drive, might I add), I was swiftly reminded why I left for greener pastures ages ago. The wonton soup: bland. Beef and broccoli: so light on the beef and heavy on broccoli that the beef was more of a garnish. Fried dumplings: greasy and overcooked. Vegetable fried rice: the cook added mushrooms when I requested multiple times that they not (the person eating has a mushroom allergy). Beef on a stick was pretty tasty, and although they did give us free shrimp toast, it was so greasy that a literal stream of oil poured out of it when squeezed, and it tasted like the oil was old on top of that! We ate because we were hungry, but we should've listened to our instincts about the food being bad, because we all got sick the next day. Yuck. I know this place can do better; I used to be an avid fan, but there is a lot of competition in the area putting out tastier food. Now I will really think twice about going back.

The. Worst.Ever. What a horrible experience, the staff has changed and it shows. We stopped by for lunch. The hostess/waitress was rude, acted like we were disrupting her day. She seated us and left. They used to serve tea and water immediately. We eventually got her attention and asked for tea. Another long wait to take the order. Soup was brought, cold and salty. A few minutes later an egg roll and main course were brought together. We asked her to take back the main course, bring it after the egg roll. She seemed thoroughly disgusted but accommodated us. The main course was brought out later and literally thrown on the table. What a sight! Shrimp and lobster sauce was a gooey, congealed mess with a few shrimp. I scraped off the goo and ate the shrimp. This too was very oversalted. I'm not sure they didn't do it to be vindictive. Salty soup, 4 salty shrimp- what a lunch. We will never go back. Save yourself some money, get a decent meal somewhere else.

Wonton soup had a funny after taste. ...By the way look at the menu in front window. in addition ate my shrimp in.lobster sauce today following day of this review.ROYAL RIPOFF..small shrimp..Please dont.go here.

This place is atrocious! I only went there b/c I was given a gift certificate by my company. I have tried 3 dishes so far. The 1st dish, shrimp egg fo yung, made me sick but I have a sensitive stomach so I thought maybe it was too greasy, The 2nd was shrimp & broccoli, how in the Hades you go wrong with that I will never know. They don't use jasmine rice which is just ridiculous. Next the broccoli hadn't been stemmed and was as hard as if it never saw any heat. Next the garlic sauce was salty enough to raise anyone's blood pressure. Today I got Kung Pao "chicken". It is in quotes b/c I wouldn't recognize it as chicken. Even the fortune cookie was burned! Worst if all I have a good portion left on the gift certificate. I maybe should give it to a homeless person! Do yourself a favor and go to Asian Kitchen on Lakeside Blvd if you are in this area.

What can I say? It is your typical Chinese restaurant. They have all of the usual meals on the menu and the prices are reasonable. So you are probably asking yourself, "why would he do a review?" Well the answer is simple: Beef on stick! That is right, not beef on a stick, but beef on stick. I love going to this restaurant for the sole purpose of getting some beef on a stick to warm it over one of those flaming grills they bring out. Sometimes, I'll just get two orders so I can sit there and warm my beef over the flame. That is what makes this place memorable. So if you are going, get some beef on stick and satisfy the pyro that is in all of us!

This is probably my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Owings Mills. I primarily have ordered carry out , but I did dine in on one occasion. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Every time I ordered carry out from them, they threw in some freebie appetizers - specifically, I have received free wontons, beef sticks, and shrimp toast and it has always been good! My only complaint is that I wished they delivered!
