This place has great outdoor seating, and our server went out of her way to make us have a great time! They have an awesome rotating beer list which just can't disappoint. Make sure to ask for Jerry's 'whim' that day!

The food was great. That being said the service was not high class. I came here with my family and we were celebrating my mom and grandmas birthday. When making the reservation I asked if anything was done special for birthdays and I was told: complimentary glass of champagne, sparklers, and a piece of cake. In reality my mom and grandmother received some honey shot of liquor. Our original server left half way through and casually said someone else would be taking over.. I've worked at two high class restaurants and that would never be allowed. We were most looking forward to going down to the fire pit but we had to stay on the deck until the "band" left (which wasn't until around 9:30) because they were awful and it was super loud. I came here to go somewhere new for a special occasion and I won't be going back.

Tastiest food on the shore and a rotating list of fun, original cocktails. It's great to sit and relax on the front porch or patio and listen to local musicians. Absolutely the best place in town!

This is my wife's new favorite favorite place and has gone here several times over last couple months with friends. I finally made it out On Friday for lunch. I always get a burger (if available) anytime I try a new place. If you can't cook a good burger why should I try anything else? Harry's did not disappoint as I found my new favorite! I started with a Caesar salad (my other menu test) which was very good. Their Caesar Salad is made with the oily style of dressing rather than the creamy type that many restaurants use. I like both styles as long as its good and this was. My wife had the asparagus soup which was delicious. I'm not a soup guy but I would get this if I were. For our entrees my wife who normally gets seafood went with some pub grub and got the Mac n Cheese entree and of course my burger. The Mac and Cheese was creamy, flavorful and sprinkled with ham for some added saltiness. While very good, its very rich and maybe a little too much to eat for one so I'd recommend getting this as a dish to split with others at the table and get a protein dish for you main entree. Now for my burger, mmmm. Can't wait to go back for another! Great char texture and flavor, a little over cooked from the medium I had requested, but still very juicy and tender so it didn't detract at all from the flavor profile especially when the pungent dijion and red pepper relish condiments provided on the side were added to round out the sandwich. Living on the eastern shore i'm so glad I went and found this restaurant as I no longer need to travel out of the way to find a place with fresh flavorful food.

Harry's is my single favorite restaurant on the Delmarva Peninsula. This is the same Harry's that was in Greensboro but has moved into Denton. The food, drinks and service are all excellent and I cannot recommend it highly enough. They have a 'Harry (happy) hour' from 4-6 with discounted drinks and appetizers, with pub fare and fine dining from 5-9 Wed-Sun. I have been visiting Harry's since 1995 (I missed the first few years) and in all that time I have never been disappointed. Everything is good but the cream of crab soup and gumbo is unreal!

What an unexpected pleasure this place was! Located in a tiny town called Denton in the inland center of Eastern Shore, Harry's welcomes you at the town's edge with its lovely outdoor patio and pond. The weather unfortunately didn't allow us to partake in its lovely grounds, but we were excited to take our baby and enjoy a happy hour at 4pm before dinner crowds hit. At the risk of sounding like a total pair of parental lushes (?), we're quite used to hoisting the kid in all kinds of table-chair situations in bars and restaurants by now (our son's almost 10 months...you can't expect us to get a baby sitter every time we need to get a beer!). So we were happily settling into the bar's high table and chairs when the waitress kindly informed us, without even asking, that Harry (the owner/chef I imagine!) was fine with giving us the normally bar-only happy hour specials even if we moved into the dining room. And what a dining room it was! Harry's is really an old house, repurposed into a restaurant, so we were led into one of the living rooms of the first floor of this house. Bright red walls, built in bookcases filled with lovely cookbooks (I checked out a couple of Parisian ones while waiting for our food - one of my favorite experiences has got to be sitting in an awesome restaurant, waiting for my awesome food, reading an awesome cookbook surrounded by my awesome family), bay windows with a perfect view of the lush garden and the patio...it was all a bit surreal in its loveliness! Even if the food were mediocre, at this stage, you'd get a pretty breathless review from me. But then our $5/dish happy hour dishes arrived, and oh boy - you really shouldn't miss this place. Duck dumplings were plump, juicy, just ducky enough and cooked just right, served in a pool of delicious sauciness and a bit of very well picked ginger to cut through the duckiness. Scottish oysters were also superb, with crisped bits of bacon atop very lightly cooked fresh oysters (oysters=less cooked the better, methinks). But the star of the show was definitely the CRAB CHEESE PRETZELS. They really deserve all the superlatives you can throw at it. Why no one else had thought of this combination before I don't know...but I'm sure the plentiful supplies of excellent crabs in the Maryland Eastern Shores stirred up Harry's imagination and boy I'm thankful for it. It was just the perfect thing to go with our 16 mile beers and the perfect way to kick off our vacation.

Big city quality with a small town feel. The food was made fresh to order and the specialty drinks were uniquely crafted. Highly recommend the Thai Shrimp as an appetizer! The staff was welcoming and friendly, we even had a great time mingling with the locals at the bar. We will definitely go back!

Simply put I can not say enough about this place. Having lived in the Philadelphia area for much of my life I am quite accustomed to fine cuisine. I have eaten at many a place who's standard pale in comparison to this hidden gem, yet charge far more on average per dish. The atmosphere is excellent. It feels very cozy, but not cramped. The food is prepared perfectly. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have been here several times, however being new to yelp I have only just had the time to review. That being said I have sampled many of their dishes. My favorites are the Thai shrimp, the orange roughy, and the curry mussels. All of which are superb. There at also many other worth while dishes. The gumbo for instance is world class. I rarely give five stars, but I truly feel this place deserves it. Bravo Harry's for such great service and such a warm welcoming atmosphere.

Very pleased to find this charming restaurant thanks to other Yelpers good work. The "green" in the name is the village green of this charming little farm town in the middle of nowhere, that just happens to be halfway between my home and my dinner companion's home. I'm sure we will visit again. The restaurant is in an elegant converted Victorian home, with lovely rooms and plenty of character. The staff is clearly local, engaged, communicative, and helpful. We got good service, good food, and had a really great experience. The pear salad and the beet salad were both delicious. At my server's recommendation, I tried a New England style seafood stew, which was flavorful and rich, but a bit overdone and chewy. I wonder if it wasn't better earlier in the evening. We pretty much shut the place down at around 8:30 pm....not exactly a late night town! The bread pudding for dessert was spectacular. This is a dying breed: the locally run, not-a-chain restaurant with good food, good service, and a comfortable environment. Check it out, I want it to be there next time we want to meet halfway!

Eclectic, delicious, great bar scene (wonderful concoctions to choose from), and all the atmosphere you could ask for. We had eaten a late lunch so after drinks (cranberry mojito a must) in the bar we contented ourselves with a very nice grilled pear salad and a seafood stew made in heaven. The stew, mostly lobster, was warm, thick, creamy and just right for the chilled autumn night. Dessert was HUGE, an espresso chip ice cream with meringues. It was all so exceptional we returned the next night for another run. I had the pumpkin curry soup and scallops. My husband had the vegetable crab soup and quail. All beautifully prepared and perfectly seasoned. Alas, no room for dessert this time, but we'll come again and again when in the area for the congenial atmosphere and very fine dining.

Wow, what a hidden little gem. We were lucky enough to end up there for a family gathering. For those of us on this side of "the pond," this place is well worth the drive for a nice evening out. Harry's boasts an upscale menu in an historic, quaint Eastern Shore setting. We plan to return as soon as possible. I am anxious to start delving into the many temping dishes on the menu! It is a small setting and has limited seating and hours. You would be best served calling ahead to check availability.

How amazing to find a fantastic fine dining restaurant I such a small town. We ate inside this beautifully restored Victorian but believe next time we'll join the large numbers of diners alfresco. Who wouldn't love excellent cuisine by a wood burning fireplace? By happenstance we met Harry and loved his humble repartee. (Loved the flamingo shirt!). This lovely place gets five stars.

Worth the trip from elsewhere to Harry's casual elegance in an rambling big old downtown Denton house (but hard to find with Garmin GPS). Kudos to the very attentive servers and the chef for a delightfully original menu. My Argentine companion and I relaxed in the crowded, pleasantly cozy bar, slowly sipping French champagne drink and a Tequila Sunrise while munching on a warm pretzel smothered in a crab cheese dip and a plate of crackers with brie, fig jam, and walnuts. All scrumptiously good (and at Happy Hour prices, an excellent value), and apparently the locals know it as most left when Happy Hour ended. From there we were led to one of the quiet, well-appointed dining salons (one with a modest fire going, and both had very soft romantic music a la Norah Jones and such). In our bright red, chandelier-ed space, we eyed the shelves of old books while waiting for the the gumbo soup and asparagus soup--both delicious! For our next course we practically licked the Osso Bucco plate clean, devouring the juicy, perfectly cooked meat and its accompaniment--perfect sweet potato fries... and enjoyed the grilled pear, cheese, and greens salad (though I did not care much for the dressing). As expected, portions were so generous portions that we split them instead of ordering two entrees and two salads. We were too full for dessert! Final check for our outing was just over $78.00 for a two-hour pleasant escape. We would definitely return.

Love, Love, Love this place. The food was amazing, the service was superb, the restaurant is the cutest thing ever. I can't say enough about our experience. Beautiful Victorian house with a casual elegance. Just go there!!!!

Food was very good and happy hour was cheap. I have never experienced such awful behavior from a owner. He was beyond rude. Will never visit again and am spreading the word about the demeaning manner which we were treated. Service was average, outside seating nice but none of that was worth poor treatment by "Harry the Horrible".

The first time we went, ended up at a small table in the bar (no other tables available apparently) listening to the owner bad mouth one of the other restaurants in town, pretty classless behavior for a supposedly 'upscale' place. We paid way too much for way too little. Tonight, decided to give them another try..we went down for my birthday...closed for a private party. If they can't be available when you expect them to be open...why bother?

Good stuff! If you are looking for something elegant in Denton, this is the place. Make reservations and get treated like an expected family member! If you like cream of crab soup, this is some of the best that I've had!
