The BEST people to work with when you are planning a business breakfast or lunch meeting. Not only do they offer you wonderful food...they give you an amazing presentation of the food. The price...can't beat it! Definately a place you should try!

I have never had anything from here that was less than outstanding. The everything bagel with chive cream cheese is my go to, but every so often I'll opt for the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. So yummy.

I lived in NYC..... So finding a bagel outside of NYC that can compare is quite impossible. However this place does a good job. Good selection, inexpensive and friendly service.

Best bagel I've had outside of NYC and half the cost! The veggie omelette I ordered was also delicious! Friendly staff!

You can't find a better bagel place in the Ocean City area. PERIOD. The people that operate this shop are some of the friendliest you'll ever meet and the food is just delicious. I work with a large group of guys who are always hungry. We stop by the bagel shop at least once a week to either get some classic bagels with cream cheese or the loaded breakfast sandwiches. I highly recommend the Sausage, Egg and Cheese bagels. It goes great on an "Everything" bagel or even the "Garlic" bagel. If you're from NY or NJ try the Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese and you won't be disappointed. I also enjoy buying a dozen bagels to take home or give as a gift for my friends that are out-of-town. I haven't even talked about the sweet treats yet! The eclairs are something I dream about. I'll wake up abruptly in the middle of the night, sweat dripping down my face, eagerly awaiting for A Bagel And to open. The mini cheesecakes are pretty outstanding as well. They cover them with a variety of sweet fruit toppings like blueberries and cherries. MMM!! I've never had anything from here that I didn't like. The wide variety of options makes each trip an exploratory adventure. But you'll soon find your favorites and become addicted. I'll be a customer for life.

Food is decent the service is just incredibly slow. It was Labor Day so or was expected and they were busy as we could see. The only problem was I got my food right away and my boyfriend literally had to wait 20 min. People that had been behind us were getting their food before he was so he said something and the lady behind the counter rudely told him they were busy. Obviously.....

Good bagels. Bad coffee. Lox are very salty, try the Nova for something more creamy. If they could serve a good cup of coffee I would rate it a five.

Food and Bagels are great. Reason for low review: asked for an iced-coffee and got brown water with ice. Politely asked for another and got same thing. Maybe the girl who made it didn't know what she was doing. When I talked to manager it was apparent she didn't know either. It became apparent that no one working there had a clue how to make an iced coffee. When you make iced coffee you have to make a stronger pot of coffee (increase the strength) to compensate for the ice (water), simple. What put me off was their reaction that I was some unreasonable demanding coffee snob. It was a really hot summer day I just wanted an iced coffee. If you're going to run businesses at least know how to make everything on the menu.

Our go to breakfast joint when we are visit g family! Friendly service and the bagels are always fresh and warm! Their home made cream cheeses are awesome as well. Family owned and operated. Great place to sit down and eat!

It isn't a true vacation without enjoying a bagel sandwich from A Bagel and a coffee on the beach every morning! Our family and company looks forward to these bagels every year and it never ceases to amaze us! We love this place!

A Bagel and ROCKS! These are definitely the BEST BAGELS in MARYLAND! If you're looking for the real deal in a Bagel or Breakfast Sandwich, don't look any further, I live in Ocean City and I'd rather cross the bridge in summer traffic for a Bagel. We order Luncheon trays from here as well. Thank You A Bagel &!!!!
(5)Justin M.
Very, very good bagels. So many different cream cheese options as well, I try a new one every time. The coffee is pretty sub-par, but the fresh bagels and friendly staff make up for it. And by the way, they do have WiFi, contrary to what the business information says.

Standard mom n pop bagel place. Price was standard. Stopped here on the way home from OC with kids and everyone ate their bagels. Nothing spectacular but nothing wrong either.

With any Biz, the service it what makes or breaks it for the customer. Here, before the door closes behind me it is all one big welcome sign. You can't beat that, well with maybe the food. It's great, we mainly get a variety of bagels, but often I get a large order of breakfast sandwiches for our crew. Different ones but all with cheese. Don't know what it is about the cheese they use, but it makes an awful, delicious mess of a sandwich. Tuck your tie, where a bib, lean farther forward or eat elsewhere. My family and friends from the big cities that seem to have great bagel shops everywhere ask me to have these waiting when they come. The only problem is the whitefish salad, They usually run out before I remember to get it.

lets get serious... It is hard to get a decent bagel on the Shore, That joint in town "Bagels in Buns" is hit or miss & FILTHY(being nice). "A Bagel" in the Pines, hooks a bagel up as good as you are gonna get it down here. The Bagel is consistent and tasty, they have flavored Schmear, if that is your thing & lots of bagels each day. i.e They don't run out early, like lame ass Bagel and Buns (I like to sleep in). Note: The coffee is some of the worst I have ever had, get your Bagels to go, and head for your favorite coffee spot, you will not be disappointed.

My parents own a house 1.5 miles from here, and we love to walk there and get breakfast in the morning. Honestly I don't know of a place i've ever been which makes a better bagel sandwich than at A Bagel & . The line is at times stressful because it seems to move in a disorderly way, but the food is wonderful. They serve New England coffee, do iced coffee, and serve Boars Head (one of the best) deli meats for lunch sammys. PROS: food, location, staff friendliness CONS: efficiency

I favorite breakfast place besides Fractured Prune donut shop is Bagel and.. They have real Lox not just Nova! I always buy more than I need to take home. I recommend having them slice the Bagel's and freezing them right away. They have no preservatives and will not be as good for the next day. Then place in toaster frozen. They come out perfectly done. Also all the backed goods are top notch. The croissant filled with chocolate is my personal favorite my husband always gets the Eclair.

They have a nice, clean, and relaxed atmosphere with a good amount of seating & funky painted chairs. The staff is helpful and most are really nice. I love their everything bagel with an egg and tomato. They have great muffins and other pastries, and even little bags of specialty doggy treats, which I think is a neat idea.

Very good little bagel/sandwich shop ! We were staying in Ocean Pines North the last week in August and hit this place twice. I had a bagel sandwich and a regular sandwich and the portions were very large and they both tasted great. The wife had two bagels and enjoyed them. Last time we went, we got one of the mini cheesecakes to share..........Wow ! One of the creamiest cheesecakes we have ever tried !! If we do ever stay in Ocean Pines again, we will be coming back !!

Very cute, quaint bagel shop, and busy, but moves fast. The blueberry popover was amazing, definitely worth trying the other favors and pastries. The fried egg sandwich was really delicious and made to order. I would definitely come here again even though I was just passing through.
(4)David W.
This is not the place for locals. If you want to wait 20 min for an over priced sandwich help yourself. Maybe they need to cut back on the 20 employees running over each other. That may help with faster service and lower cost.
(1)Kevin K.
After a 15 mile run my girlfriend and I stopped in and hoped to grab a good breakfast sandwich. We each had bacon, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel and it was great. The eggs were nice and fluffy, cheese was melted and the bacon was crispy and not "gummy". There was about a 5 min line but if I go back to ocmd that will be the breakfast spot we hit! Plenty of seating and parking.
(4)Justin C.
Best breakfast place in the area! Their food is fresh and many homemade treats. They have fresh meats bagles and desserts. Their omelettes are amazing and I highly recommended them if your in the area!

Here's one place I officially discovered thanks to Yelp! I am from upstate NY, and I can personally attest to the fact that their bagels are very close to what you're going to find up there (hey, I've been NY bagel-deprived for years, so if you don't agree with me, well, I guess I can respect that.) Many cream cheeses to choose from, too! We prefer whole grains, and they did have a couple of choices in bagels that seemed acceptable (although I never ask what exactly is in the "multigrain" or "wheat" whatever, because I know darned well there's got to be some white flour in there, and I don't want to be disappointed). Unfortunately, the next time I go, I will have to be blindfolded and have something to plug my nose. All their baked goods *look* and *smell* so incredibly good. My fiance and I try very hard not to eat too many sweet things, but we couldn't resist... We bought some blueberry muffins, and OH MY GOD.... The shop is super cute and you're served with a smile. Oh, and be sure to check out some photos they have of the gigantic bagels they make for catering. Impressive!

Worth adding that this is one of my wife's and my favorite places to just hang out when we're outside the house. The staff are very friendly and helpful (granted I've mentioned this before) and even the patrons tend to be the nicer kind of Eastern Shore folk. And I'm addicted to the Egg Everything bagel with Sausage and Egg (#6 with an Egg Everything). Oh, and they read Yelp. ;-) They've gotten more efficient behind the counter. Tell them I sent you so that they can blame me.

If you want a real bagel - look no further!! The owners are originally from NY and know what a bagel should taste - and feel - like. Friendly staff, great breakfast sandwiches. Boar's Head meats & their own salads for lunch. Lots of seating and WiFi! Such a warm and welcoming place - plus great food. Enjoy!!

Great Bagels, Terrible Coffee! Good chicken salad and a nice selection of cookies and other baked goods. I like to make coffee at home and get some bagels to go. I would eat in more often but as I said the coffee is watered down and lacks any flavor.

The closest to a NY bagel place than anything I've tasted in MD. Excellent food. Highly recommend.

This place is really good. Great variety of fresh bagels and cream cheeses, decent coffee, really good chicken salad.
