Decent little diner near the beach. Lobstah roll is full and yummy. Chicken fingers portion is huge and crispy. Service was attentive and better than you might expect from a little place like this (Stephanie). Only questionable thing was the chowder which was a bit thin and not as creamy as I like.

A cozy little place in the back roads of Westport, its a place you wouldn't expect to find. The wait staff are always very friendly and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Its a warm family atmosphere thats perfect for bringing your parents out to eat or your little one. The food is excellent I can only speak for the breakfast because thats all I've tried so far but its definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend the crepes and on behalf of my grandmother she highly recommends johnny cakes with molasses!

Great diner like food. Friendly staff. Kid friendly. Only had breakfast. Good muffins. Portuguese Benedict is excellent.

This is the best secret in Westport - the staff is always friendly and the food is just like home. Try the chow mein sandwich it is great

I like Grums's! A very small local town eatery, but they are good. They have the diner type of menu, with pretty much everything on it and serve breakfast all day. This place serves some of the most non-greasy breakfast I have ever eaten, which is very nice! Their deli sandwiches are a good size and they don't skimp out on the meat. A great place to stop for a quick lunch or a relaxing dinner after a long day. They are also a good place in the summer to order some sandwiches and take them to the beach.

Nice owner and staff. Had a roast beef sandwich. Best I've had in a long time. I will return soon!

The only good thing is it is close to home, but very disappointing. Ordered 2 fisherman platters at $22.00 each, got 2 shrimp, 4 scallops, 4 fried clams and a soggy piece of fish. The French fries were limp and way undercooked. They should be ashamed to serve food like that, will not return again.

Great local gem, best Seafood Platter I've ever had, not a spot of grease! Tried to make their Stuffed Pepper Soup at home & couldn't come close to their deliciousness! Had lunch & dinner there many times & never been disappointed. The wait staff is fast, friendly & attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody! Would also recommend the sweet potato fries, just delectable! Brought my out of town non-cooking friend here twice and she said, "If I lived this close to this place, I would be here 3 times a week!" Sometimes, I am tempted myself!

Two reviews applaud Grums, two find it wretched. Actually all four are correct. Grums' breakfasts and lunches are okay. A number of items on the menu and most are exactly what you expect from what is essentially a diner. However, let the buyer beware of ordering off the supper/dinner menu. My wife and I have been disappointed both times we've gone. We won't be going back for supper again. Further, this is a local joint and some mid-mornings the dining room is filled with locals eating and meeting and not leaving. No room for anyone else. So, okay for breakfast and lunch, not so good for supper.

A solid local breakfast-lunch-dinner place, Friendly, fast service. Fine fish and chips (order the sweet-potato fries!). Lobster roll first-rate; comes mayonnaise-style, but ask and they'll do it Rhode Island-butter style. Good homemade pies.

I've tried Grum's twice but unfortunately both times were not good experiences. First time I paid $5.95 for a Johnnycake special and got 4 half dollar size, super thin cakes on my plate. That was considered worth $5.95? I was starving. Second time, table was dirty and waitress din't clean it just put down the paper place mats and silverware...ok whatever...but then there was a pubic hair on my friend's plate. That was the last straw, this place is gross. And food isn't good either.
