Just moved to Holliston, and am thrilled to have discovered Jasper Hill. Outstanding sandwiches, always fresh and high quality. Friendly local feel, and outstanding coffee too.

A wonderful place! Food is spectacular. Some bumps but the new owners have so much heart! I love that they have brought music to the local market!

Good breakfast menu choices. Note: they don't deliver. That was a mistake in Yelp setup! BUT THEY DO HAVE TAKEOUT SERVICE!!!

Jasper Hill (Great Name) is a gem! Being a family owned business brings personal touch, attention, and even some homemade recipes too. The entertainment falls nothing short of Class Acts with some well known artists making this establishment a place to go at night Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. The custom cocktail list is very impressive with one of the owners being a former bartender for many years - she knows her trade. Jasper Hill is an excellent place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and most of great entertainment.

You should go here sometime. The place is small, and the atmosphere is very nice and friendly. The owners are out and interacting with the guests, like, this is your honest sweet neighborhood spot. A lovely hole in the wall. This food was fantastic. The truffle fries I got were unbelievable; the parmesean was freshly shaved onto the piping hot fries and they were easily the best truffle fries I've ever had. Perfect amount of crunch and kick. The waitress was super nice, Denise. She was extremely acomodating for the food allergy at my table, and very attentive even when the resturant became overflowing busy. They've got a tiny little stage for live music, a nice full bar, very comfortable seating... I'm not trying to write a puff piece, I just really enjoyed my evening spent here. I can't speak for the coffe/pastries side, but I highly recommend coming here for a meal or an evening. I went with family, so I've crowd sourced some other opinions on other specific menu items... The turkey club panini: "there is a genie between this sandwich and my mouth." The cheader and bacon burger: "that was awesome."

My wife and I had a business appointment in Holliston and tried to go to the Holliston Grill for lunch. Unfortunately, they had just closed. We wandered down the street and decided to try this cafe which looked pleasant. Woman at counter/cashier acted disinterested, as if she could not be bothered with us. Pretty rude, actually. We both ordered the Caprese sandwich and you would have thought the basil was like gold. We found about 10 little miniscule specs of basil. I actually went back and asked for more (which the man prepping the sandwiches did), but...seriously, it's a Caprese sandwich dude -- use the effing basil!! Wife took back her fountain soda which was flat and was told by the Disinterested Counter Girl that it's because the soda needed to chill with ice. HUH??!! She offered to replace it, but needed to add ice to something (??) and it would take a while. HUH??!! Is it too much to be pleasant to your customers? Too much to make a sandwich the right way?? Maybe just a bad day??

I did a take out because I had a gift certificate. working nearby I treated my co workers to lunch. I had a friend pick up the food. The sandwiches came in a Styrofoam container with chips on the side. The chips were stale and the food for the price was not anything spectacular. The salad that was ordered came without utensils and there were no napkins added to the bag. Not really very good for take out. Perhaps they are more of a sit in building restaurant and not good at take out ?

Owner emailed me and harassed me about my review. Focus your energy on better food and service and you won't have to worry about customers being unhappy.

Service was friendly although the server who helped me at the register seemed frazzled. I ordered the West Coast burger with goat cheese and avocado, and it was absolutely delicious! Will come back soon to try more of their menu options. Great lunch venue.
(4)Joe C.
A solid place. Very, very nice staff with good food and drink options. They have a nice area for live music as well. Not many in the area have the option for live music.

Great food from a friendly staff. Takeout and eating in are always a good friendly experience. Love the breakfast wraps.

Whenever a new business opens in Holliston, I really want it to succeed. We are off to a great start with Jasper Hill! I stopped in for breakfast and a coffee this past Sunday. I liked their menu, the pricing, the coffee, and service, but I was blown away by my egg and cheese on a croissant breakfast sandwich. It was the best ever! The egg was fried with just the right amount of cheese, the cheese kind of melted and got grilled a bit which added to the flavor, and the croissant itself was grilled and slightly crisp. Yum! As I was savoring my meal, I could hear the couple at the table behind me raving about their meal. Next I'll try lunch and update my review. Stay tuned!!

This is a cute little, local place. They have limited menu because it's not a full kitchen. Breakfast sandwiches, pastries, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and soup. The servers are mostly young high school kids. I wish they would clean their tables instead of standing around talking when they are idle. Besides that small complaint, it's an okay place for a quick breakfast or lunch.

Really want a Holliston business to succeed but Jasper Hill disappoints, just like Pejamajos did. It's a place for locals to meet but save your money and skip the bland, uninspired food. And, what does it take to throw a decent salad together?
(2)Manny B.
Was happy to hear this restaurant had opened in the old Pejamajo location. Went tonight with my daughter for dinner when the wait at another restaurant was too long. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed trying to seat people who were there with reservations for the live music. We were told we could sit in the front of the restaurant which was fine with us since we hadn't come for the music, just to eat. We were given menus but after 10 min I finally asked an employee if anyone at all was taking orders in this part of the restaurant. She seemed surprised but happy to take our order. I ordered the handmade Asian turkey burger and sweet potato fries, my daughter ordered chicken tenders and fries. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time but the turkey burger was a complete disappointment. It was about a quarter inch thick and looked like a premade frozen turkey burger. I can't imagine that it was 'handmade'. My daughter and I thought the highlight of the meal was the sweet potato fries which were nicely crispy on the outside, not soggy like many sweet potato fries can be. The regular fries were good too. We also had to ask for our check after sitting for quite a while after we had finished our meals. I'm afraid I would not go back and felt that both the food and the service were less than average.

Great breakfast spot for family. We had the country breakfast which was a huge portion of eggs, bacon, home fries and what looked like homemade toast. We ordered our 2 year old the pancakes that he absolutely loved! Serving of pancakes was 2 monster pancakes! Very good coffee - my wife had the light roast and I had a very good cappuccino, we will be back again!

Just a quick review for this place - the bar/music area specifically. Went on a Friday night to see the Bruce Marshall band there. It actually looked like it was closed from the outside because the coffee shop part was empty - but they have a small room at the back where the bands play. So, they have a nice little bar there for about 6 people, plus tables and seats for maybe 50? $5 cover although it seems like it's very often free. I have to say it was just fantastic. The band was unbelievable - like if they were playing a 10,000 seat venue I'd think myself lucky to be watching them, but you're right there watching them perform, close enough to throw ice cubes at them (don't do that, btw, it's just to give you an idea of how small the room is!!). The crowd was older, not sure if it's always like that, but appreciative of the band. People were friendly, met a lady, Kathy Lindsey who apparently sings there also - she did one song and was very good. Really, if this is the quality of the music they have here we will be back again and again. Can't believe they have a place like this in sleepy Holliston. Well worth the trip from anywhere in Metro West. Great ambiance, great music, oh, and drinks? - they even have Pickle Backs! Yum!
(5)Chad B.
Lunch at Jasper Hill was great! The Turkey Club and Chicken & Brie sandwiches were so good, homemade onion rings and sweet potato fries too! Nice selection of pastries for dessert!
(5)Gary S.
Very nice Mediterrean salmon and really chicken coconut soup. However, we went on a Sat night when there was a great band, Fat City and it was mobbed! Even when we had a reservation, it took a long time to get a table, and then there was just one waitress to serve the whole place. People were dancing by the bathrooms. If you are going to have a band, be prepared and move the tables around so people can sit, and then maybe have one of the young men standing around in the deli area at least get water and take orders, or staff accordingly. Totally disorganized, I hope they get their act together as it would be nice to have a local place to go to hear music.

today was my first and last visit to the new Pejamajos-my friend ordered a regular sandwich-it was ok. I ordered a Panini which comes with bacon-avocado-tomato and lettuce and mayo-friend got her sandwich-we waited and waited for mine. I went to check-there it was sitting on the counter-where were you service girl??? it was barely warm-meat cold-tomato cold-a smear of avocado-a few remnants of bacon asst. wilted lettuce strewn on the bread-unattractive and at $8+ a failure. Last I knew a Panini was a HOT sandwich-Man in back gave the excuse that all food is handmade-yea, but serve it when warm-the two girls were all but useless-better get better..but it doesn't matter to me-I won't be back...
