Made a reservation at 7 didn't get seated until 7:45 absolutely ridiculous never coming Here again food was subpar Edit: OK, I was drunk when I wrote that. Food was fantastic and the overall experience was great as well. Plenty of spacing between people at the hibachi tables which is something most restaurants get wrong. Minus one star for the wait.

Not thrilled. We had reservations for 9 but only 5 showed. We told the Host and he was very rude and annoyed. Unfortunately it happens. We were very sorry. Dinner was ok. The Mai Tai I had was not good. The restaurant is nice but very very loud. Bottom line I would much rather go to Samba on rt 9 in Framingham.

Compared to other hibachi places, this is definitely one of the cheaper options. With that being said, the food was just okay. It really wasn't anything special. Our cook seemed to lack the "flair" of other hibachi chefs and came off as boring/disinterested. I was part of a group of 3. We were seated with a group of 4 who seemed completely uninterested in not only conversing with us, but also each other. The wait staff was great and very attentive. The place itself is gorgeous inside and seemed to be very clean. I just wish I had a better experience. I don't feel compelled to go back.

Love the hibachi! Its done right, but I do not recommend not doing Hibachi. When I came here not doing hibachi the appetizers were served cold. We told the waitress and she came back with "warm" appetizers about 20 minutes after. You would think they would know to bring out hot appetizers after being served cold appetizers. Hibachi is entertaining. The food is great, expecially the rice, (use the sauce that comes with it). If you do go here do the hibachi table.

Ichigo is one of those places that I just keep coming back too. It's one of the better hibachi spots in the area, nicely designed friendly staff and mostly great service. One warning though it can get loud and a bit hectic on weekends so I'd that's not your style try avoiding during peak times.

Went on a busy Friday night & did not have to wait to be seated for sushi. The waitress was very friendly & attentive. Ordered the edamame appetizer, the spicy salmon roll & the angry dragon. All were fantastic.

REVIEW FOR TAKE-OUT SUSHI ONLY: I have had take-away sushi from here three times and each time the fish has been fresh, tasty, and neatly plated. The staff give plenty of chopsticks, soy sauce, and napkins and are happy to let you take-away fish that is on the dine in only menu. When feeding two, I order about 3 simple rolls, 1 big roll, 1 appetizer, and 6 nigiri/sushi (approximately $45 - 50). Small note: For take-away, the receipt does not ask for a tip. I found that refreshing.

This was my first time having a hibachi meal, and I was pretty excited, as many people have recommended Ichigo Ichie in Seekonk. The Konk is a little far from Uxbridge, so my boyfriend and I decided to try the Franklin location. I was pretty darn stoked to enjoy the show, so to speak, and I made reservations for 6:30. We came in five minutes early, and were promptly seated. The decor is wonderful, and enjoyable. Bubbles galore! As we walked over to our table, it started going downhill. A high chair, small child, and a soccer mom, husband, and in laws were seated with us. I should have said something, but I didn't want to offend anyone. Panda, our chef, was so excited to have a good time with us, but it's unrealistic to have an infant eat hibachi. The baby was terrified, and the small child wanted nothing to do with Panda's show. Soccer mom couldn't shut up either. Panda, you could tell, wanted to perform, but it's hard to perform when the majority of your table is disinterested, and you can't do much with flames with an infant--no blame to him for this. It was sad to see the other tables having a blast while we had to deal with soccer mom. The food itself was alright. It's hibachi, there's plenty to go around. Steak was delicious, and the chicken with it made it be too much, so take out it was for the remainder. You're going to eat A LOT. Also, get some water. Soy sauce is abound here, which means salt salt salt. :) Don't bother ordering sushi as an app. It's delicious, don't get me wrong, but you're going to get full before you eat your meal. The mushroom soup, I wish I could sub out for another salad, or miso soup, but I was afraid to ask. This would have been a four star review, but I feel that Ichigo could have done a little better with not sitting us with an infant. It made it just... not be really enjoyable. I could have basically enjoyed the same meal, sitting at a table with just my boyfriend. I was even going to email the restaurant, but their website is down. Surprise. When in doubt, listen to your gut, and don't sit with the infant.

Went with my girlfriend on a whim last Friday night and were lucky enough to not have to wait to be seated. The atmosphere was nothing extraordinary but solid, however the waterfall when we first walked in was slightly off putting. We both settled on what sushi we wanted and quickly ordered. For appetizers we both got soup, I got the miso and she got the mushroom. The miso soup has a nice robust flavoring to the broth and paired nicely with the seaweed. The mushroom soup was in a league of its own for just raw flavor alone and I'd definitely recommend that instead. Took us about 20 minutes to get our entrées but by this point the restaurant really picked up so nothing too crazy for a Friday. I got the assorted sushi meal that came with sashimi and sushi. Overall the fish tasted relatively fresh, with the salmon and tuna being standouts. Also of note was that the spicy tuna roll had a very smokey aftertaste which was refreshing from the normal hint of slight spice that I'm used to from most "spicy" rolls I have had. Lastly, we split the tempura coconut ice cream. Only critique would be to maybe have the tempura cooked slightly longer to have more of a crunch. But the dough was not raw by any means and the dessert was good. Overall I give Ichigo a 3/5, a solid experience paired with good food. Interested in going back and trying the more adventurous rolls now that I've gotten a baseline to go off of, especially the Godzilla roll.

Mer. I wanted to like this place. I'm really not a hibachi girl. I enjoy the spectacle as much as the next girl, but I find the meat to be overlooked and the veggies bland. For that reason, I tried the sushi. It was fresh for the most part, but just way too busy. I could hardly finish my 2 rolls because they were so built up with extras. The rolls were good, don't get me wrong, but nearly impossible to eat with chopsticks. The drinks were good and our waitress was awesome and split our checks without batting an eye. Thumbs up for that. However, for the quality of food I got, it was way pricey. A guy in my party got the tuna appetizer, and that looked really good. Tuna and other fillings with tuna in the place of rice. I'd order that if I ever came back.

This place was fantastic! Went here for a date and I'm so happy we did! It was a bit noisy (but it was a Friday night not really a surprise) but the food was amazing. Had several sushi rolls, chicken teriyaki, and the crispy duck appetizer. The duck was insanely good, and the rolls we ordered were great, arranged beautifully and tasted wonderful, the only one that didn't make the cut was the sweetheart roll. If they didn't puree the ingredients together it would probably be way more appetizing. The chicken teriyaki was tasty too and it was nice not having some over fried chicken doused in sickly sweet sauce, it was more of a fresh grilled chicken with a light wonderful teriyaki sauce. Yum! Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Good service and good food. Brought my 4 mo old at 6pm and he was entertained by all the other tables with kids and the chef and especially the bubbles on the wall! Fun dining experience- U pay for the entertainment in the price per plate but portions are large too.

Ichigo Ichie is by far the best sushi/Japanese food in the area. Everything is made fresh and the restaurant itself is really nice inside. If you aren't a big fan of sushi, I highly recommend sitting at the hibachi table and getting dinner and a show! The hibachi is very entertaining, and it is so good. I always get the chicken and filet mignon, which comes with veggies and the best fried rice you'll probably ever have. And if you want to start out with an appetizer, you have to get the rock chicken (tempura battered and covered in a red sauce). Give this place a try, you won't regret it!!!

Best hibachi place around. All of the food is fantastic. I usually get the hibachi filet and chicken with the occasional sushi. The servers are nice and generally prompt. The hibachi chefs are entertaining and make delicious food. The atmosphere and decor or great as well (see: wall of bubbles). It's usually packed on a Friday or Saturday night, but even so, the wait is never that bad. Our favorite hibachi place.

My first time visiting this place I was very impressed. The decor itself it very unique with a cascading waterfall immediately upon entering the restaurant. All along the interior walls are also beautifully decorated lights and glass. For dinner, we ordered the Green Monster Roll and the Spicy Volcano Roll for an appetizer and three of us ordered the hibachi Filet Mignon and Shrimp and one ordered the the Filet and Scallops. I absolutely loved the Spicy Volcano Roll, be warned it is spicy but it is very delicious. It has a spicy sauce with shrimp tempura covered with crab. It was phenomenal. The other one we did not like, it had a weird taste that we could not quite figure out. It had lobster tempura and seaweed salad on top. Not our favorite. The Hibachi dinner was excellent, the filet cooked perfectly and the rice was amazing. The whole table loved garlic so we asked for extra garlic in our rice! I would gladly come here again, however the managing staff needs to change their attitudes. They were less than friendly and when we said we had four people and two were on their way they made us sit and wait rather than seat us and the place was not busy. It was very inconsiderate. So although there food is tasty, the management needs serious work. It was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

Wonderful place, food is the name of the game here. Great decor and atmosphere. Wish I had hibachi because people were clapping and cheering towards the chef and seemed like they were having a great time. I had the Green Monster roll was stuffed to the gills.

I enjoy the food and the waitstaff is always great. However, there are some serious flaws with the management side of the restaurant. I once came with a large party and we were seated when all but 2 had arrived. When the manager found out our entire party wasn't there they made us get up, leave our table, and return to the waiting area until the remaining 2 (out of 16) arrived. I had never quite experienced anything like that at a restaurant before. I've had several experiences with the managers that were just so over the top rude and unnecessarily stressful that I don't think I'll be returning.

I got cold (hot appetizers). Waitress took it back and brought me another one 20 minutes later. This time it was warm. How about offering me a drink or a desert? Nope. I just got another one that was Luke warm. The sushi rolls sucked and so did the service. I actually stopped at Wendy's drive thru on way home and got a baconator. I will not be back here. Slow service, forgetful service and crappy cold food. This place plane sucks. I've never been served cold food ever at Hang Tai, even after I've had a few Mai Tais when ordering takeout, I get home and the food is still as hot as a flaming arrow.

I love Ichigo, hands down my favorite place to get sushi. I've never been that big into raw sushi but since coming here i've slowly been getting into it. I dont know what it is but the flavors they put together with their raw rolls dont seem to bad to me. I have never had their hibachi but from what i can see from the prices they're very competitive. same goes for their rolls, they are not expensive at all. Very reasonable in price, a lobster tempura roll is only 10 bucks. The portions are huge, let me tell you i can put in work when it comes to eating. Two rolls from here is plenty enough, you will leave full for sure.

It was a Friday night so we called ahead to see how long to wait for three would be for hibachi would be. It was 6pm and the hostess said there was no wait now but they had lots of reservations coming in later. We rushed down there (took about 15min) to find that now there was a 30-40min wait. I was a little surprised but also know how it goes as I've been working in hospitality for over 10 years. 30 mins goes by and my 4yr old is starting to get restless, I ask the hostess if she had an ETA for when we'd be sat, she said about 10-15mins; ok great. Another 25 min goes by as we watch table after table getting sat. I walked back up to the host stand and explained how it's been about an hour now since we put in hour names and were told 30-40min, no apologies were given just rudeness by a man and woman who seemed to be possibly the managers when I said that had I known it would be an hour wait we wouldn't have waited. Finally we are sat, our waitress although nice seemed stressed. We ordered an app (soft shell crab) when we ordered our drinks. Drinks came out, another couple at the table got their app, but ours did not. I double checked with the waitress about the crab she said the "kitchen was backed up" but it should be out any min. Well our app which should only take 5 min to cook after pick up, came out as the hibachi chief finished cooking our meals. When she brought over she said "well that was a production" again no apology. The food was ok, a little heavy on the soy sauce for my liking and the crab sat in bowl of sauce which ruined the texture and flavor. Doubt we'll be back again any time soon.

This place has awesome food and drinks! We always go for hibachi and end up with awesome chef's. I find it hilarious when they have "saki time" or try to get you to catch the food. They are so good with kids as well. I only gave them 4 stars because we went for my friends birthday and the gentleman at the front desk was pretty rude. I asked if we could have them sing Happy Birthday and he made me walk him to the table in front of my friend to show him where we were, then they never did it. We had to wait quite a long time for our drinks and for them to remove our appetizer plates.

Love it here, a great place for any occasion. From birthday hibachi dinners with friends and family to a night out for sushi and drinks with my husband this is always a great spot. Food is always good (try the spicy shrimp goyoza app), and the drinks are always spot on.

A great hibachi restaurant with good food. The manager however will make me avoid this place entirely. His arbitrary rules and rude demeanor towards my friends is entirely unacceptable. Having heard stories of this manager but never seeing him in action, I was appalled. He started by refusing to seat us until our entire party was there. If the hibachi area was packed I would understand, but there was no one else there as we got there right at opening. Some extra friends had joined us for a birthday celebration, and the manager was not happy about this. After being forced to wait in the tiny lobby, we were bright back into the hibachi area...only to be sat with a group of strangers. This was also irksome, and when questioned the manager seemed indifferent to us, and then began to lash out at one of our friends. Creating false accusations and being generally ill tempered, slamming down the menus and leaving us with the strangers. We made the best of the day, but when our friend Jason posted a yelp review about the terrible service, things got worse. The manager came to us and said in my friends ear "are you Jason?" When Jason answered yes the manager says, verbatim "I know what church you go to, how about I come down there and tell you what I think of YOUR God". This was the line. The food is good and the servers are great, but restaurant just lost me and anyone I can tell about this as a customer until he is gone. Food is perfectly adequate for Franklin sushi and hibachi. In fact, I eat here often. The rub comes when you come with a large group. The manager is a rude, unhappy man who treats people like objects. If you make reservations for a group the manager will make sure you have to stand there till every person is there, even if the hibachi room is totally empty. Our party had to wait and the manager told us off because we called and made reservation for 10 and 14 wanted to come to celebrate out friends birthday. Last time I checked those four people's money counts. Nonsense rules and a rude arrogant manager that made up a story about me that I asked for money back for sushi previously (I didn't, and if I did I have the right to so I have no idea why he is making lists of "bad customers") make this NOT the place to go with large groups. Go somewhere where they appreciate your money.

I can't say enough great things about this place. The staff is great, the owners are great and most importantly the sushi is always fresh. The hibachi chefs are super fun. I eat here all the time and it's always delicious. I also take out sushi once a week and have yet to be dissatisfied. Hands down the best restaurant in the area.

Easy on and off Rt. 495. Open at 11 AM so an early lunch or late breakfast is possible. The surroundings are very trendy chic. The bathroom is immaculate. Our server was prompt and efficient. The sushi was ok, nothing amazing, just ok. Honestly, it was pretty flavorless, actually. My daughter's shrimp tempura roll was the best. Three rolls for lunch with salad or Miso soup was 13.00 so a pretty good deal. 3 stars for A-OK sushi.

I have never tried the hibachi side, but I took a client here for lunch once and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the lunch was! We received a great amount of food for not a whole lot of money. Good sushi, beautiful place, (which impressed my client, great pro!) and affordable. Very happy!

While I'm city bound by eve, I spend most of my days out toward the more rural settings up and down the 495 belt. Ichigo is by far one of my favorite spots to have a social get together. + Gregarious hibachi chefs will fill your mouth with sake for as long as you can chug. Appreciators, bring a DD. - Hibachi area is loud as all can be. + Great set of what I call americanized-maki rolls that are as pretty as they are delectable. The Sweet Heart Roll is a personal favorite. If you're headed there with the intention of talking to friends, skip the hibachi and get a table. That area tends to be quiet.

Came here last night and had the most horrible dining experience of my life. The staff were incredibly rude, referring to me as a 'foreigner' by the girl serving us and stating that a driver's licence by way of ID was not good enough to buy an alcoholic drink and they had to see my passport. Obviously I don't carry my passport around routinely. When I explained this to the manager, I was told that I didn't need to eat there and was asked to leave. Unbelievable. At this point we'd been an hour and a half in the restaurant but hadn't even got to the food ordering stage yet. Stay away!

Always fun and delicious! Noisy and busy on a week night but what do you expect for great food and entertainment?! I have been 3 times and always left satisfied. It is a little pricey but it's great for a night out. Staff very attentive and drinks are great too!

Definitely the place to go for sushi in the Franklin area. We try something different every time, and it has all been great so far. The volcano roll is one of my favorites. The soy sauce changes the taste quite a bit, in a good way. Try it with and without. It's interesting!

We go here a lot! Josh and his staff are the best at getting you great hibachi and a great experience. On Weekends it's busy but the wait goes fast and never is really more than 15 minutes even if they tell you it's more. The chef's are great working the crowd and kids especially even if you have been there 20 times like us. Last year we had a party with 25 people and took 2 tables there and they gave us dedicated wait staff and the cooks put on an extra long show for all the uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and grandparents. The decor is awesome with waterfalls and water features throughout and it's very modern and cool.

Delicious perfect sushi, especially if you get it to eat there they make the best appearance of the meals and it's usually different. Manager is pretty rude but it may be a cultural issue and I may be taking it the wrong way.

If there was a definition of cheesy Japanesey, this place would be it. It felt like a wanna-be Asian fusion Atlantic City restaurant that was copied and pasted in the middle of suburbia...... and a throwback to 80s dining, when nobody knew better. All that was missing was porn-style elevator music, and it would have been a Dirk Diggler set for the movie 'Boogie Nights'...... scene 14: Dirk turns a girl to sashimi with his salami sword. Honestly, the food is entirely mediocre, and the service, while hospitable, is not Grade-A professional (in the sense that training was lacking, but not because of not trying). Ambiance is so busy and overwhelming to the senses that it could have gradually morphed into a disco as the night progressed, and I wouldn't have blinked. I suppose it's ok for suburbia. It's not bad, just not great. After all, if disco music has survived, so can this place. Is the food decent? Yes it's doable. If I keep visiting friends in the area, I won't recoil from the place. Would I drive out there for a dining experience that tickles the palate? Not.

A great sushi menu. Tasty and fresh. Very well presented, and assembled. Good beer selection. Great service. I did bar dining. Seemed very conducive to groups and parties. Could hear birthdays and such. If you like sushi, and you're here in the area outside of Providence, but not in any metropolis, definitely go here.

In town for work so a few of us decided to check this place out because we were craving sushi. The ambiance is kinda funny...you walk through an entry that has a raging waterfall where you can't even hear the person next to you. Water is definitely the main theme which is cool, very eclectic but I liked it. All of us got sushi so not sure about the hibachi side of the restaurant. I got my normal, Ikura and Masago which at 2.50 each, I was curious as to the size but was happily surprised when the rolls came out and they were huge...other places would have them listed for 5 a piece. I also got a sushi sampler that had a dragon roll and 9 pieces of different fish. It was a great sampler and they have multiple samplers to choice from at different price points which is great depending on how hungry you are. I am sure I'll be back once or twice before we are done for food and am excited about it! I would definitely recommend this place if someone is in the area.

I'm new to the area and heard this was a great place for sushi. I came in on a busy Friday evening and sat at the bar. I tried ordering dinner and drink. They obviously asked for my ID. I handed over my driver's license, they scanned it, and told me it didn't work in their scanning system. I was asked to step away from the bar. I talked to a manager and tried to resolve this situation to no avail. I showed them multiple forms of identification. I was very polite as were they. Apparently, they've had an issue with serving minors over the years. I then left the place and went down the road to the BBC where I had a great meal and a couple brews. All I wanted was some sushi and a Mai Thai. I'm almost 26 and it appeared to the other customers that I was caught with a fake ID. Very embarrassing to say the least.

Sushi. Habachi. The best you can find is here!!! Went for a birthday party, there were 12 of us. The service by the chef and waitress team was awesome. And the mai tai's were delish! The scallops were huge, fresh and oh so yummy! Even the salad that the meal starts off with was good. I have been here for takeout before but this was my first sit down experience here. 100% satisfied and will definitely be back!!!

The man and I are still trying out new sushi places around the area. This was the next on our list. The service was good and the decor was interesting. Usually when we come to these type of venues, we have a few credentials we like to try out. Below are just a glimpse that helps us decide whether we would want to come back or not. 1) Scorpion Bowls - was not impressed at all! Tasted more like a Seabreeze. 2) Avocado Salads - we order the Kani Cucumber Salad to split. This was a different twist, minus the avocado. Still very good but not spicy at all like it was written. 3) Sashimi Entrees - I order the Sashimi Deluxe, so good! Great assortment of fish. 4) Mai Tai's - didn't get to order it, next time. 5) Interesting Maki Rolls - good amount of choices. He got the Volcano Roll and loved it! This place is it not totally off our list. We still need to try the hibachi and mai tai's.

One of my favorites. I usually get some sort of sushi roll. I always get the filet mignon and lobster so that is all I know and I KNOW it's succulent. The filet melts in your mouth... MELTS. The ambiance is great, just get passed the ear splitting water feature in the front entrance!! Can you still hear me? Ok good. The bar is great for a meet up and some apps. The grill is what we come for so here's our experience. We are seated right away always. We have never waited long for another group or couple to sit and get started. Yes, the waitresses are sometimes busy and less personable, and sometimes they know how to handle it and are beyond great. Hit or miss there. Also, the personalities of the Chefs and when you catch them can vary as well. Get a Chef at the beginning of his shift and he's all fired up ready to go! Get him at the end he may be spent and not so amazing. BUT they are always good and deliver a decent show. So go and enjoy and write a review!

This was my second visit and first for dinner. There are two sides: hibachi and dining. The dining area has the bar and a sushi bar. We sat on the dining side. I just had maki rolls and edamame, but on the previous, lunch visit had a bento box. The sushi was fresh, well presented, and delicious. The wait staff were very good. It was noisy, even on the dining side, away from the hibachi area, but it was a Friday night, and wasn't so noisy that we couldn't talk. There aren't a ton of choices around 495/Franklin area, but this one is well worth it and is my current top choice. On the way out, I looked it on the hibachi area. Tons of families with happy kids enjoying the show. Next time, I'll come back with my kids.

Moved from Southern California and we've been struggling to find a good sushi place. Great place, nice atmosphere around the bar. We went with a group of five and sat at a Hibachi table, have been back multiple times since, especially with family and friends from Cali. Great drinks too. Went here once with my friend. My first impression was just... WOW. The decoration in this place is very nice. As soon as you walk in there is a waterfall to your right. I got hibachi and the food was very yummy like most hibachi I have had. But a dinner chicken plate ended up costing around $16.00! She got filet, a Mai Tai ($10), and we also got an appetizer. The entire meal totaled almost $90.00 for the two of us! This place is VERY expensive for a casual dinner. Expensive food, expensive drinks. If you go prepare to splurge! Because it is so expensive with the usual hibachi taste I would say it is OK. The hibachi chefs were great though! Very entertaining.

I have been here for several lunch visits during the work week, and a couple times for evening hibachi. I am going to try to stay unbiased, as I find hibachi in general to be a bit of a rip off. First things first: why does their entrance have the creepiest, fishy smell? Once you walk into the actual restaurant, the stench goes away, but they really need to get a better filter in their indoor waterfall or something... The sushi lunch special here is why we keep coming back (lately at a rate of once a week). They offer a 3 roll combo for 13 dollars! I don't think you can beat that. It also comes with a choice of miso or mushroom soup or house salad to start. I never leave hungry. They offer some great options for rolls too. I tend to go for some combination of the sweet potato, jalapeno yellowtail, shrimp tempura, or spicy salmon/tuna. Another highlight is that they get you in and out easily within an hour. For anyone else who works in the area, I highly recommend this place as a quick, fun lunch for a great value! And a quick note about my hibachi dinner experiences. It's a fun place to bring a good group of friends. They have good drinks (they make a good gin martini in addition to some of their specialty drinks) and their hibachi cooks are entertaining if not a bit PG-13. A highlight of the event tends to be the moment(s) where the hibachi cook goes around the table and squirts sake into your mouth with the squirt bottle from four feet away. However, plan to spend about $35/40 bucks including tip for a drink, chopped chicken, a handful of veggies, and fried rice. For evening hibachi, come for the event, not the value.

Don't be fooled by the atmosphere and fancy lighted bubbling walls. I went there for dinner this past Wednesday and was TOTALLY disappointed. Their sushi prices are literally DOUBLE the prices of other Japanese restaurants. You can get two pieces of sushi in other places for what this place charges for a single piece. And the size and quality of their sushi are both average. Idon't know how old their wasabi paste was, but it had very little punch. We also ordered two of their "soba" dishes. I use the quotes around "soba" because the noodles they served were more like ramen noodles than any soba noodles I've ever had elsewhere in my life, and I've eaten a LOT of soba noodles. To top it all off, the waitress gave me an attitude. I ordered one of their specialty Japanese sodas ($3.00 for a small (9 oz.?) bottle btw). The bottles have some weird seal on them that you need to pop in order to release the soda. I asked her to open it for me, and her response to me was "That's your job." Ex-effing-scuse me?!?! I wish I could have rated this rip-off joint 0 stars. Needless to say, I won't be going back there.

My cousin wanted to treat me out to dinner. And she suggested Ichigo.. I had heard many good comments from friends, so I was really excited to satisfy my sushi craving. The service was very nice and the sushi came out fairly quick. Everything was really tasty. But later night, I woke up to stomach pains and had to relieve myself twice the next morning. My cousin texted me that same morning asking if I had a stomach ache. She had woken up twice in the middle of the night because of her upset stomach. Such a shame..

This place was awesome! Franklin doesn't have much going on, but this place was fantastic! You walk in and there's a waterfall right when you open the door. Once you get inside, the decor is phenomenal. There are crystals hanging to form a wall. There are lots of cool water features inside as well. We got to our table and were greeted by our waiter. We weren't ready, so he gave us a few minutes...which turned out to be like 20 minutes. We were ready to order everything by that point, so no big deal. We got our drinks. One of my table mates had a beer and there was a hair in his glass. The food arrived and it was great. I had the shrimp tempura roll, sweet potato roll and a California roll. It was great and very filling. I'd definitely come back here. It was a great experience.

We have been to Ichigo Ichie several times. The atmosphere is really nice. It's very trendy in it's décor. We have ordered sushi and sat at the hibachi tables. The drinks are great, especially the ginger martini. The hibachi is a fun experience and the food was good. We've taken our kids a few times and they really enjoyed the experience and the food. The sushi is just okay. It's better than other options in the area so we tend to go here often, but I have had much better sushi.

Giving 1 start because I can't give 0. Absolutely horrible service. We called at 530p to make a reservation for Hibachi at 630p, we were told the next available reservation was 830p, but we could come in and it was a 20 minute wait. We decide that was fine and arrive at 615p. Upon arrival the wait was quoted as "40 minutes". Totally acceptable for a Saturday night. The night was going well until.. 40 Minutes later, our buzzer lights. We were then given a snotty attitude with the response, "I did not page you." Well, clearly our buzzer is going off and at the 40 minute wait, seems logical. Again, bitchy attitude, "I did not page you." After she checked that she did page us by accident. 25 Minutes later, we checked with the hostess if our table was ready. The manager ripped the book out of her hands, and said we would be seated immediately. We were seated within 5 minutes. We sat waiting to place a drink order for 10 minutes. We sat waiting for our drinks for 10 minutes. When the drinks finally came, she brought half our table's and half of another table's. What? Sure it was all of our party's.. but move the process along. Get a table done so the show can start! We spoke with a manager and said we just want to place a food order so we can at least eat something. (Salad and soups not yet placed) The response was somewhat pleasant, "Ok I will check." We determined we were waiting so long for a table because we needed to fill a table so they were waiting for a party of 3-4 to show so our party of 5 could sit. We sat waiting for a food order to be taken for another 15 minutes. When asked if we wanted appetizers we demanded them on the house. We were given 2 orders of edamame and shrimp for the 9 of us, that was nice, but too little too late. Food was fast once the show started and the chef was very entertaining. We arrived at Ichigo Ichie at 615p, were seated at 720p and go in our car at 915p 3 hours?? 2 Hours once we were "seated"? While we were "seated" awaiting food orders and drink orders, we counted 1 chef for 12 tables. 1 Waitress for 4 tables. As stated before.. service is absolutely horrendous. I don't forsee a restaurant staying in business very long if it takes 2 hours to turn over a table. Our group as well as the other at our table was starving and devour our meal extremely quickly. Another table near by also yelled, "WE JUST WANT TO EAT NOW" to the manager. They had older people in their party (mid 60s, early 70s). End of story? Food ok, Service terrible. Never going there again.

I've been here several times and have always had a great experience -- this has quickly become a favorite spot for our family. Quick and friendly service (and helpful!), great atmosphere, stunning visual appeal (waterfall, bubble wall, glass/crystal bead faux wall), and good hours. The hibachi grill is very entertaining, gives you a ton of food, and can accomodate large groups (I want to say 14). Friday/Saturday nights can be really busy, so plan ahead!

Went with a very large group, which seemed the throw the staff for a bit of a loop. Order taking and food preparation took a really long time, but this is not unreasonable given how many people were in our group. Be patient if you have a large party. One of our group members tried to get Casar salad at a sushi bar. Posterity. I had the Angry Dragon roll, which is shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and spicy crab. It was pretty good.

I went here last night for a friend's birthday party. My wife and I have eaten at the location in Seekonk/East Providence and have had nothing but positive experiences there. As far as the food and service from our waitress was concerned (Taylor possibly?) both were very good. The food is standard hibachi fare but done well. Our server was great, attentive and personality plus. Where our visit went sideways was when the manager approached our group at the bar and demanded we sit now or he could not hold our reservation. He was very abrupt and condescending towards our group, I don't know how someone in the hospitality business could be so rude. I understand the fact they have reservations after us, but it was a Wednesday night and at no time during our visit were there less than 4 hibachi grills empty, meaning he easily could have re-configured his seating. Our group also ended up being larger than originally anticipated by quite a few (rezzie for 8, we were 14). I know that's another monkey wrench, but again, plenty of empty tables to accommodate some re-configuring. He actually made 3 people from our party LEAVE the table and sit at the bar!! I was flabbergasted. Apparently this isn't an isolated incident, we overheard heard two employees talking about how he treated the party and it seemed like this was SOP for him.. All together between the bar and table we spent about $1,000, and not a single person in our party said they would return based solely on how we were treated by that manager. It was actually a point of conversation at our table, and we were joking about how bad it really was. So, to sum it up, as long as you don't need to interact with management, it's a perfectly good place to go for a night out. I know 14 people who will never go back though. To ownership, you might want to speak with the manager who was working on Wednesday at 5:30ish about this, I'm sure there are other people he's treated this way who were similarly put off.

Quality of sushi is passable. Prices are fairly high. Ambiance is enjoyable, dark, intimate. Hibachi quality is good but also rather pricey. There are better options for sushi in Franklin and better options for Hibachi within a 20 mile radius.

I got to be honest that I was not impressed. The service was very good though. Our waitress asked first off if my wife and I had any food allergies. That is a good start off point. She took our orders and was very nice. The food came out quick but that is the extent of the good part of the experience. I'm not saying that the food was bad, it was just blah, boring, dull. I was in for hibachi and my review is from that perspective. I think the place is fantastic but I could see some of the other reviews about waits coming true. As for reservations for hibachi they are very rigid. Certain number of people have to be there by a certain time or you might loose your reservation. We had a party of 14 and two were delayed. They were surprisingly accommodating (read other reviews maybe?) and we actually got seated within minutes of our reservation. As for the hibachi, it was the best experience I ever had. The chef had a fantastic personality, we got all the humor and more than I have ever seen. It improved everything else he did. The standard Saki squirting was handled just so funny we were all roaring. The Broccoli toss... Even funnier. The Egg toss was even funny. Even when he was portioning out the meals he would take the spatulas of food and act as if he was going for one of the guys plates, manage to drop one piece of meat on the plate and make the rest end up on the plate of the girl next to the guy. Too funny. Food quality was not the absolute best I have ever had but very good. Fuji Steakhouse in Needham, ma had better quality food but this place gave more bang for the buck. Overall this place gave us a top shelf experience from our 6:15pm arrival right thru to the end and it was packed from the bar to the back room. I did notice though that the personality of the chefs vary. At the adjoining table no on was laughing and it looked like the chef kept his head down and said nothing. That is not hibachi! What can I say, maybe the patrons were the problem... who knows. Bottom line, I would highly recommend the place. I'd go back with the potential for complaints that I saw. I don't get in a twist if an extremely busy place holds me up 10 minutes here or there during the night. I'm out for a good time, not to see how quickly it comes to an end. More time for another drink anyways ;-)

The sushi is always delicious and the few items I have had besides that, like the vegetable noodles, are also good. I went there last night with a group of twenty. We were seated as soon as we had all arrived. A policy that is common, but doesn't make sense to me. You are holding a table and you have people who could be moved out of the doorway and drinking. Another day on that one. The waitress was very good. She was quick, intelligent and pleasant. Drinks were fine. The miso soup was little more than a bowl of hot water five mushroom slivers and two scallion circles. The salad was l little chopped white bits of lettuce with one cherry tomato and one half slice of cucumber with an inadiquit splash of dressing. By this point we noticed that bussing was abismal. Empty glasses and beer bottles lined the inside of the table taking room needed for sauce dishes and fresh drinks. The shrimp were smallish compared to other hibachi places, but good. The scallops were tasty. The vegetable hibachi was rally all zucchini. There were onions and a few very small chunks of broccoli. Those who ordered only sushi seemed more enthusiastic. The decor is beautiful-sleek, modern with bubble walls and glass beads. Nothing was really bad, but there are many good restaurants in the area, and nothing to make you want to go back.

I went for hibachi so my review is from that perspective. I just learned about this place a week ago and was excited to try it out. The decor is surprisingly urban for the area. The atmosphere is extremely loud, but for a hibachi restaurant that's fine because I don't want to have my conversation carry around a table of three different parties. We were seated very quickly, but it took awhile to get the chef to the grill. Once he started up the show began. Unfortunately the chef we got was not up to par with my experiences at other restaurants. No egg in the hat, no shrimp in the pocket, AND NO GODDAMN SAKE SQUIRTED INTO MY MOUTH. WTF GOOD IS A HIBACHI RESTAURANT IF THEY ARE NOT SHOOTING ALCOHOL DOWN MY THROAT?! A glance over to the other tables revealed joyous groups swallowing sake as fast as the chef could squirt it. This left me feeling cheated. You don't go to hibachi for the food (it's essentially take-out) you do it for the entertainment and experience. And the experience here was lacking. So yeah, get your !@$# together and standardize the hibachi experience. I expect better next time.

I really enjoyed it here. I went on a Friday night and had made reservations for a party pf six and was sat immediately. I was very impressed, the decor is above the rest with a water fall as you walk in, bubbling water window and stone walls. I came here for hibachi and ended up trying some sushi as well. All dishes were a a dollar or two more then other sushi/hibachi places but they made up for that with great service, food and entertainment. We all also order drinks which came promptly. I eat plenty and even had some for lunch the next day. I'll definitely be back! Keep up the good work.

Had lunch on a weekday with my wife at Ichigo Ichie. Go by this place almost daily going to the Forge Park train station or BJ Shopping Club. Place was moderately busy with the business lunch crowd. Nicely decorated, though the water fountain in the outer lobby cries for the spread of legionella - warm, water mist. Inside, the lighting and the bubbles behind the glass were kind of neat and mesmerizing. We were seated quickly and given beverages. We shared a seaweed salad - which was one of the freshest and most flavorful we have ever had. She had a salmon bento box - huge bowl of white rice, couple of dumplings, 4-5 pieces of veggie tempura and 4 of the smallest California roll slices I have ever seen, plus a nice piece of broiled salmon. Her dish was very nice and filling - probably that huge bowl of white rice did it. The tempura was good, the other items - California roll and dumplings were run of the mill. Salmon was nicely prepared. I had a beef teriyaki and a shrimp tempura roll. I was expecting a nice display of Shrimp tempura, given the setting. Little on the small side, but it did have at least two shrimp, based on the tails in the head piece. My teriyaki was nicely prepared - sliced planks of beef, mixed veggies (broccoli, zucchini, onion, mushrooms) in a nice sweet teriyaki sauce. I would order again, but ask for rare preparation of the beef - little chewy at medium. Again, a large bowl of white rice. Service was good, again on a weekday for lunch. Wife had a chipped tea cup and server said they had lots of chipped cups. I thought this was considered a health code violation to serve someone with chipped glassware, but she shrugged it off and found another cup that was not chipped. Odd... All in all, a nice place for lunch, and probably dinner. We will bring the kids for hibachi on the other side and maybe come just for sushi in the future. Can be a little expensive though.

We brought a coworker here for her farewell lunch, and it was a really fun change of pace! The decor is really cool, and now I want a color changing bubble wall in my house! We were seated around a hibachi grill, and then treated to fun little show while our food was cooked. The hibachi chef was very funny and very talented. The lunch portions were plenty big enough (I can't imagine what the dinner portions look like), and the food was delicious!!! I'd recommend paying a little extra for the hibachi rice, as it was really really yummy! I left feeling full, but not in a greasy, disgusting kind of way. This is a welcome change from the old Picadilly Pub that used to be here, in my opinion. Everyone had a blast! I'd love to return!

Last night with girlfriends, we hit the hibachi. Monday night and it was dead of course. The food was good, not great. This was the first time I've had hibachi grill where the veggies and my entree (shrimp) was absolutely drowned in sauce. It was a good meal, but to be honest, for hibachi, theres another place in Franklin that I like better. But I have to say, the spicy California role is awesome!!!!

Have been twice. The decor and layout is very nice and thoughtful. Lighting, the aquatic touches with the bubble wall separating the hibachi area with the sushi/wet bar and the waterfall in the breezeway are nicely done. The service is efficient on all levels. The fun the chefs have with the guests is great: the sake squirting and vegetable flipping. The food is prepared nicely and tastes fine. Price is also reasonable. My wife liked her mai tai vs other places but how can a restaurant of such great features and food have such mediocre beer? As a craft beer guy, which I'm part of a rapidly growing movement, the beer list seeriously disappoints. While it may be novel to order a Japanese beer, overall, the rice lager varieties of which they are satisfy few like me even though they might pair ok with their food. Arguably the best beer listed, Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA, has been unavailable on both my visits. Let's get with it...get some good styles.

Delicious food and the service is excellent! I usually get sushi, but my friends wanted to try hibachi so I sat at the hibachi table with them and ordered sushi. The waitress was excellent in the beginning, but then she disappeared when my food came. I wanted a refill on my green tea and she never came back to check. Another waitress noticed that I didn't have any soy sauce so she got me some for my sushi. I started out very impressed, but they lost a star because of the finish.

I've eaten here three or four times and really like it. They did a great job renovating this place and the ambiance is great. Ive eaten at the habachi grill and dinning room. I prefer the grill, because lets face it, the chefs are the main attraction. The food is pretty good too, although eating in the dinning room, without the "show" was not the same experience at all. The cocktails were pretty potent and the service is very good as well.

We have been here several times and had brought several friends with us and gave great reviews, but after tonight we will not be bringing ANYONE there. This awful experience was definitely our last at Ichigo Ichie. Before I go into detail, let me state that my fiance and I have both waited tables and therefore are VERY sympathetic toward servers, even when we don't have great experiences. We are very easy to please; as long as you are friendly and respectful, we will leave content even if the meal is nothing spectacular. I could get past the awful service: 1.) drinks took 20 minutes and even then our waters were forgotten and took an additional 5+ minutes, 2.) Soup was cold and not edible, 3.) The server dropped plastic straws on the Hibachi grill and tried to remove them with a polyester napkin, which also melted into the grill and was left there for quite some time I could get past the cook: 1.) It took at least 15 minutes to "remove" the melted plastic from the grill- this is clearly not the cook's fault- but it was not removed entirely before we ate, 2.) The portions were markedly smaller than usual for the sauces, rice, veggies, etc. 3.) The food seemed to come out much more segmentedly than usual so the rice was long gone before the veggies were served and so on, 4.) I have never seen so much oil and butter be poured and packed onto Hibachi food in all my experiences. I could get past the fact that our quick "celebration" dinner and a drink took about 2.5 hours (wait time included). The part I could not get past was the awful management. When my fiance complained, the manager blamed the all the negativity on the bar being backed up. He did NOTHING to try to leave us satisfied or ensure our return. He was honestly TERRIBLE and clearly does not put the customer first. The fact that we left with not so much as a sincere apology- nevermind having nothing comped for us or no offer of a complimentary dessert (which we would have not accepted)- puts this dinner experience as the undisputed #1 worst dinner experience I have ever had. The only semi-positive part- which is ironic- was that we quickly found seats at the bar and enjoyed a very good cocktail, mixed by the very nice and prompt bartender (who the manager blamed for everything).

Brought my friend here for her bday on 9/13. This time I decided to do a bunch of apps - she had some fancy sushi stuff but I really only go for the plain tuna rolls and cooked stuff! Everything was great as usual. Wine pours were generous(and I did not get any bad wine this time!). Service was excellent at the bar. I'm so happy this place was opened near my house!

I went with the VP of my company and some co-workers from overseas and scored big points for having recommended Ichigo Ichie! We opted for the dining room instead of the Hibachi, and our dinners were fantastic! The food was beautifully presented and delicious, and everyone was so impressed with the decor! The hanging prisms by the front entrance were fascinating, and the bathrooms are gorgeous! We had the edamame, the calamari starter, the duck starter, and the seafood tempura, and it was all delicious and gorgeous. The next day at work, everyone including the VP was commenting on what a great place it is for entertaining customers or guests, so I expect they will see plenty of business!

This restaurant is always a good time, the Hibachi tables are enjoyable in every way, the chefs really get into providing a show. I took my mother here for the first time a few weeks ago and she loved it, everything was cooked perfectly, and the chef even got her to do the Sake shots from across the table. The sushi here is also very well done, its nothing spectacular, just your basic sushi but it is presented very well and always seems fresh. The one disappointment I have had at this restaurant is last week when we sat at a regular table in the dinning room and everyone but my partner ordered sushi, we had to wait over 20 minutes for his dish to be delivered from the kitchen once our sushi arrived. Only to be served a very disappointing meal from the kitchen. Also the service at the regular tables were very poor, it seemed like the waiters had too many tables and really couldn't be bothered helping us out.. This is why the restaurant gets 3 starts instead of 4 from me!

First time here. We went for Sushi and it was amazing. We had the Magical Roll, the Firecracker, the Green Monster and the Franklin yellow tail. Our favorite was the magical roll. Very clean taste... but they were all excellent. We ordered just from the fusion roll part of the menu. The sauces they used made them so good we did not even use the soy sauce... there was no need because the flavors were exceptional. It was packed there and I mean packed with lots of people waiting. We were lucky and grabbed a place at the bar. But the bar staff was so inundated that it took some time to get their attention and to order but I don't think it was because they weren't good.. I just think they were slammed. They need more than 3 people behind the bar. We also tried the Gyoza and the tuna tar tar and both were good although I like the gyoza at Tenchi's much better. All in all it was excellent and we will go back again soon. If you have not been there, you should go if you are in to different kinds of interesting Maki Rolls... They are just as good as any place in Boston.

Not sure where all the negativity is coming from with some of these reviews. BUT, I received a gift certificate for my Birthday to go there and EVERYTHING was almost PERFECT! The waiter "Cong" was one of the most attentive, kindest and knowledgeable waiters I've ever met. The sushi, drinks and dinner plates were also top notch! We have not tried the grill yet, but plan too. The Chicken Udon Noodles are to die for!

Have been here twice. The first time was excellent, but the second, when it was busier, didn't go as smoothly. The sushi is definitely the highlight, although be careful if ordering off the sushi and regular menus, as apparently the kitchen and sushi station don't coordinate. We ordered shumai as an appetizer, with one of their special rolls (I've tried 3 and they were all excellent) and chicken teryaki as our entrees. The shumai and sushi came out together, with the teryaki arriving 20 minutes later. All in all the food was very good, my overall favorite so far being the Udon noodles (I tried the steak) off the regular menu.

We have been curious about Ichigo Ichie ever since we saw the "now hiring signs" hung on the side of the building. I have always been a fan of hibachi cooking and we decidied to give it a try. We were not disappointed!!! The hibachi chef was excellent (very generous with the sake squeeze bottle!) and entertaining. He prepared the food as expected and it was very good. It's been my experience that the servers at Hibachi restaurants are lacking in customer service. In contrast, our server at Ichigo Ichie was attentive, fun and very attentive. We plan on rewturning to try the other offerings at Ichigo Ichie. They have anbother dining area that serves traditional Asian cuisine. By the way, the bar is awesome. You'll need to make reservations at this place. It was packed when we left. Finally, the restaurant scene is starting pick up!

So its new. It took three weeks for them to get their take-out up and running. I have to say though it was worth the wait. I enjoyed everything that came with the bento box. I got the sashimi bento box. It included a huge portion of Miso soup, sushi rice, 3 shumai (which have to be the best Ive had yet), 6 slices of fish (though I think it should be 9 pieces for the price), and a California roll. I will definitely be back and hopefully to see how their service fairs.

My husband and I sat at the bar and enjoyed a drink and an appetizer. The bartender was great. We then ordered the noodle w/chicken stir fry entree each. She specifically asked us if we wanted the larger or the smaller noodles. We said larger but when the food came out we didn't like the size or texture of the noodle. We apologized to the bartender but said that we would like to order the same dish with the smaller noodle and we had no problem paying for both orders. She brought the food to the kitchen and the manager carried the 2 bowls back out and stood behind us at the bar demanding to know why we didn't like the dish. He was trying to blame the bartender for placing the order wrong. I specifically said it had nothing to do with her and that he was embarrasing us at this point. He clearly was not happy that we were not eating the food but returned to the kitchen. When our next order came out with the right size noodle we proceeded to eat the dinner and my husband found a big piece of plastic (from the noodle bag I'm assuming) in the dish. We decided to pass on the food completely as this point. The bartender was so apologetic and brought the dish back specifically showing the manager the piece of plastic. He told her to take the meals off the bill. He never came over to us to say he was sorry for the foreign object found in the entree so as I was leaving I gave him a piece of my mind and told him we would never return. He was still trying to blame the bartender. The manager took no responsibility whatsoever. Obviously, we will never return nor will the other patrons sitting at the bar that witness the piece of plastic.

If you're dazzled by a fountain and a few cool lights, then maybe this is where you belong. They do have some nice pendant lighting and the bubbling wall that changes color does dazzle a few, especially small children and those prone to short attention spans ;-) Just don't get stuck in what I call the Flintstone Graveyard room, which is solidly surrounded in gray on gray stone and very claustrophobic. The waterfall when you walk in smells of mildew and the place just opened. It looks more like a Rainforest Cafe from the lobby. The food is mediocre at best and I pride myself on being somewhat of a sushi snob -- which doesn't mean a place has to be high-end or super-expensive -- it just has to have great sashimi, salad, and have all my favorites. Ichigo Ichie tries too hard to be something it just can't be. It's just not that good. I actually got sick the first time I went here for lunch. I tried it again though because I wanted to like it since the kids really do like the lighting...and couldn't even touch the salmon rolls that were so gross -- the salmon was partially cooked from the steamed rice, blech and the shrimp tempura roll was so oversized it was just plain ridiculous -- it's just extra rice and cucumber -- no one wants that or needs that -- less is more! Lastly, the service from the kids there is just a little too colloquial for me. I won't be back. Sorry, but I call it as I see it. If you're spending $100 or more on dinner, go somewhere else. You will be disappointed for certain.

We ate here last friday night. I went with my family and we sat in the hibachi room. It was loud and festive. It has very cool modern decor with a huge water wall separating the bar from the dining room. Nice lighting too. It's been a long while since I've had hibachi so I was curious to see if the experience would be as I remembered. Turned out to be a bit better. We started with the yellowtail carpaccio as an app. It was delicious and spicy. Then we all got hibachi dinners. It comes with soup and salad. The soup was mushroom and was a bit too earthy tasting for me...and bland. I'd say skip it and not waste it. The salad was the standard iceberg lettuce with ginger dressing. Nothing special. For the entree I had the salmon & shrimp. Didn't love the salmon, but the shrimp was very good. Tasted the scallop and beef...both were really good too. The fried rice though...was outstanding! The chef we had was really talented. He put on a better show than expected and was very charming and funny. He was engaging without being pushy. Everyone had some saki squirted in their mouth and a few of us actually caught the broccoli tosses in our mouth. All in all it was a fun night. I would go back if I lived in the area.

Stopped in for lunch at 2:19, when hours clearly posted they close at 2:30. No problem. Come on in. That was nice. Lunch specials were a great value. Service was excellent, really upbeat and very helpful making selections. The spicy tuna roll was excellent. Delicious, perfect temperature. We also enjoyed the salad. Really fresh and crunky lettuce with a delicious ginger dressing. We will be going back often.

It's a chain. But, it's consistent and should be considered a 5 star for the average citizen who knows and enjoys restaurants of all sorts. Right off the start. We don't eat there without ordering the "Fantastic Roll". They have a page of specialty roles on the menu. They're all good, depending on your tastes. The Fantastic Roll is always ordered, sometimes with another one or two along with an 18 piece sashimi assortment for two. We've enjoyed the Tempura every time but the last time, although the assortment of veggies and the shrimps & scallops were nice with excellent color and crispness, we had a really oily assortment that left us both feeling ill for an hour or so after eating there. We've been back a couple of times but have stayed away from the Tempura. I'll order it again the next time we stop in and are not pressed for time. If it comes out oily again I'll send it back and mention the previous experience. Without input they can't fix it. First, we love Sushi and Sashimi. I'm pretty much open to anything they throw at me now. I'm still not big on really fishy tasting exotic stuff. But, it's growing on me. I'll order assortments most of the time. We've had $75 assortment "boats" at some places with some really interesting sashimi, rolls, pâté, fish eggs and so on. We have not yet eaten at the Hibachi tables. That's coming up soon. Tina and I love trying out new places. We have favorites from 3 to 5 stars. There are Sushi joints everywhere, at least on the coastal areas and big cities, these days. Some of the best I've had have been little out of the way places Jammed all the time. Ichigo Ichie is nice to have now because you can pretty much rely on the consistency. And, I'm not eating Sushi in a place that isn't going through a lot of it. It has to be fresh! So, it's a nice Japanese restaurant & Sushi Bar. We like the Sushi Bar over the booths because if we see the chefs putting out a specialty item we want it! We tried a booth a month or two back and were disappointed with the service. It was pretty slow that time. Only 3 out of say a dozen booths in our room had patrons. Bottom line, consistently good Sushi/Sashimi, I hear the Hibachi tables are excellent. We have had 4 out of 5 star Hibachi dishes served in a booth or bar table. The tempura was excellent 5 out of 6 times we ordered it. They have a very nice atmosphere. Kids old enough to behave in a restaurant can have fun at the Hibachi tables and find things they'll enjoy there. It's mostly couples, a few at the bar, and parties at the Hibachi tables. Casual is fine. It's a nice date place where you can dress a little more up-casual and have fun. Definitely a nice atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Tina has ordered her Sashimi to go when on the run between her two businesses. Sashimi & Sushi, although good, just aren't the same at those prices out of a to-go box, though. Definitely try it if you haven't.

My family and I recently visited your restaurant the atmosphere was contemporary and very lovely . the staff greeted us and was extremely pleasant. I waited at the bar For the rest of my party to arrive. when my party arrived we were seated at the hibachi table . the waitress immediately came over and took our beverage order .the chef came directly after and was extremely entertaining the food was delicious and we had such a great time !I cannot wait to come back thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality.
