Hey, what can I say...I liked it. The biscuits and gravy was A-OK and the bacon was totally awesome. They were lining up at 11:00 on a Friday for the seafood buffet so I assume that is good as well. If you need some an old style diner breakfast fix, go here.

This is a simple place right on I-10, but their buffets are hot and fresh, good food carefully attended to. Ordering from the menu also brings good food, although their hamburger steak is unimaginative for a bunch of cajun cooks. The staff tends to frown upon ordering from the menu when a buffet is out, but it is a good place to eat, and the food is uncommonly fresh. Try the fried chicken.

Very friendly service and some of the best pancakes I've ever had.

Great breakfest place. Get in get out for work lunch. Lunch and dinners good but generic. Very well priced. I would say great food for traveling.

Note: Yelp has the wrong location for this. It is north of I-10 Ordered grilled shrimp wrap and gumbo. Both were awesome. Service was very friendly.

As often as I come here, surprised I forgot to review it already, ha! We come here about once weekly to enjoy the fresh salad bar & variety of veggies. It's home-cooked style with a fair amount of variety. The fried chicken (on the buffet daily) is a must, it is excellent. For Fri & Sat dinner they offer a more expensive seafood buffet (but I'm not too impressed with the crab legs on Fri pms for quite a bit more $)...so, we usually stick with weeknights instead (I do like the boiled shrimp on Sat pms also). Order anything from the menu, it's all pretty good & affordable. Service is usually spot-on. Also great for late night munchies.

Driving from Baton Rouge to Austin, we needed to stop for lunch. We had one vegetarian in the group and we didn't really want fast food. We didn't order off the menu, but decided on the buffet. Although it was 2 in the afternoon, the staff continued to bring out fresh pans of food. There were definitely hits & misses. The green beans and brocolli were watery. The mac & cheese was bland. The white rice was, well, white rice. White beans were well-seasoned as was a chicken dish in a red sauce (identification of some items would really help). However... the fried chicken was REALLY good and made up for any other short comings.. It had perfect crunch, with a slightly spicy batter -- not at all greasy. There's also a salad bar with regular salad bar type options. Don't skip the dessert area. Although I'm not a big fan of jello and the soft-serve was slightly icy, they had the BEST lemon bars. Wonderfully buttery cookie crust, a nice layer of lemon and the top had a slight crisp to it. As we checked out, the cashier asked if the bread pudding was on the buffet (it wasn't)... apparently that's also good. Bottom line, if you need a quick meal, it's right off the freeway. For $7.99 we got a little of everything. Most was pretty good, some really good, some blah.

It looks like an abandoned, dirty truck stop, but they've got a decent breakfast spread with all the Southern basics, plus fresh blueberry pancakes and spicy chicken tenders. The coffee was pretty lame; I think most folk in these parts drink the iced tea.

We stop by to grab a quick lunch on our way back and since it is so near to I-10, we give it a shot. Well, what can I said....It is just a typical diner and food is bland. However, service is friendly. They have lunch buffet but the spread didn't look so appetizing so I ordered shrimp po boys was bland but they did give you lots of shrimp though. The classic burger was dry but the bun was good. I guess my daughter like their chicken stripes since she finished of her plate and I tasted a bite and the stripes were seasoned well and crispy. Will never go back again and might just stop by Steamboat Bill next time as they have better food.

Decent breakfast.

This place is awful! I watched them poor water over the dried out buffet foods because they had been out for so long. The Mac and cheese had no cheese and the "gravy" was a brown watery substance (not au jus). I had to ask what several of the dishes were because they weren't identifiable (this includes the so called gravy). The service was no better than the food . Just an awful experience!!!! Robert K, this was on Sunday evening 6/28. I would be more than happy to talk with you about it and I really have heard good things about your establishment.

Hands down some of the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Got seated. Didn't have a single soul come and ask me if I would like to dine in or go to the buffet or even ask if I wanted a drink. Very very unorganized. Do NOT come here unless you love to be unsatisfied.

I have eaten at this restaurant ever since it has been in Sulphur. I have all ways enjoyed the food. A couple of times employees were rude but they come and go. The regular employees are the best at helping you enjoy your visit with them. I am very satisfied with this restaurant and hope to keep going there as long as my health let's me.

We took our order to go. Shrimp Po' Boy and Deluxe Chicken/Bacon/Mushroom Sandwich--with their delicious onion rings. Their Fried Pickles are the best I've ever had! Inexpensive, tasty food in generous portions. Sherry gave us great service. She was helpful and friendly. We'll definitely stop here again when in the area!

Decided to try this place while I was waiting for a client in the Sulphur area. Nice diner and friendly service. I had the classic burgeron a sweet dough bun and onion rings. The burger was well done, which is what I wanted. It was very good. I especially liked the bun and the onions on the burger. The onion rings on the other hand were salty. As, I've stated before, salt should enhance foods taste. I'd try this place again, just wouldn't order the onion rings.
