Okay, so this is my first time ever eating at a Waffle House. Reading the reviews for this place I was quite frankly scared. Don't listen to too many negative reviews, most people now a days have an over inflated value of their opinion. Yes, cleanliness & service do matter, but this is a Waffle House, not a Michelin star rated restaurant. Yes, the entire place could use a good scrub down. But our food was great. We came in for lunch. I told our server, Adele, that this was my first time in a Waffle House, she couldn't believe it. All the other members in my party had been to a Waffle House before. She explained about the hash browns. My life will never be the same. There are no waffle houses anywhere near my home, so now I just have to dream about the hash browns covered in chili. The chili is AMAZING! I had a patty melt with bacon, Adele gave us the new Waffle House sauce to put on it. OMG! Perfect! Just the right tang to add to the sandwich. I subtract a star only because it service was not quick and it wasn't the cleanest place. But everything we had was good and there was no food left on anyone's plate. I will have to find a Waffle House every time I travel outside of California just to have those amazing chili covered hash browns!

I give the one star for the food alone. "Fluffly Nae" was the worst server, never checked on us, played on the phone, gave us our food separately and no silverware AND messed up the order. Def won't come back or recommend to anyone.

IT SUCKS!!! I rate it Not even half a star. The workers seem more interested in their tips than their customers, it was completely hot in there, and smelled like sewage. It took forever for the waitress to even acknowledge me, even though I sat in a booth right next to her. I ordered a steak lunch and got a side salad. I was told they didn't have tomatos not did they have Italian dressing, and the salad would only be lettuce with thousand island dressing. My drink order was a Dr Pepper (Mr. pibb is what it's called) and a ice water. I finally got the drinks about 10 minutes after I got there, and it wasn't busy so not sure why any delays. The lunch was so-so at best, and don't think you're gonna get refills. Those are about as rare as finding a million dollars on the ground. I had to basically beg (not exaggerating) for water and soda refills. The bill came faster than the food did. My total was $14.67 and change so I paid $15 and said keep the change. I think I over-tipped actually. I wouldn't recommend this place. Oh, I went at lunch time and this place looked deserted. Me and 2 other people there the whole "lunch rush" I should have chosen the McDonalds next door to it. Cheaper and probably better food and customer service

I've been to truck stop restrooms in Mexico with higher sanitary standards than this Waffle House location. The service was more like she was just going through the motions. No talking except to ask if we were ready to order.

Should have walked out as soon as I walked in. First impressions are a lot. The table was sticky, service was awful, and let's not even discuss the shape of bathroom!!!! If you're going to work in the public service profession have some pride!!!!

Wow...can't believe I just gave a WH a 3 star review!!! However it gets that because of the extremely ssssllloooowww service....C'mon I was in here at around 2:30 in the morning...wasn't crowded and it took a good bit of time to get anything....sadly disappointed as compared to other WH's I've been in across this great state.... Now the meal was excellent and that's why they get the "3"...if you stop in here you better have the time cause quick ain't gonna happen if my experience holds to form...

It's always been a joke to call this place the awful waffle but damn! Leave it to Louisiana to have a swamp in the kitchen! By far the most ridiculously filthy establishment I have ever been in. GUUUUUUUROSS!!!!

Our waitress's name was Fluffy Nae?! What kind of name is that? Well lemme tell ya- it's the name of a really slow, lazy, slightly angry and boring waitress. There were raw sausages that lay on the floor the whole time we were there, the stove was not clean at all, service was slow, and the food...wasn't that amazing. We had the Texas bacon egg and cheese sandwich, a Choco chip waffle and some hash browns. It was greasy of course, and just ok in flavor.

Stopped by with my hubby during our spring break trip to Louisiana; we left before we received our food because the service was awful! I usually would not write a review on a fast food type restaurant but this restaurant calls for a review. The waitress working the tables looked like she did not want to be there and the cook had poor manners (he cursed at the waitress in front of us). The people running this restaurant seem like to bottom percentile that are expecting the government to take care of them. BEWARE

I have always wanted to try a waffle house. This is everything I expected. It was dirty, greasy, and a little ghetto. The food was good and it didn't take to long to get to us. It was everything I expected.

Did you know Nirvana covered the waffle house theme song? I'm not lying. I love me some waffle house. For some damn reason, every time I try to describe it to a Californian, they say without fail, "Like Roscoe's?" No damnit! Its not like Roscoe's. Its like Denny's, only less healthy. And louder. And smaller. lol Scattered Covered and Smothered may be a mystery to peeps west of the Mississippi, but I have a thick layer of grease around my heart for this place. Maybe it was youth, but I used to come here and order a waffle, grits, eggs, bacon AND hash browns (scattered and covered). Maybe the fact that you only eat every other day as a touring musician has something to do with it. I hate that my favorite location sits right next to Cajun Village because I have to wait a few hours and shlep over to get my Red Beans and Rice with Sausage at the Coffee Shop. I think if I spent more time in Louisiana, I might seriously develop congestive heart failure.

We decided to stop at this waffle house right before we hit Houma's plantation tour. Also because we were curious when we saw locations after locations everywhere we drove there was a waffle house. Food was good because thier prices are awesome so cant complain bout that. However I ordered the limited time peanut butter waffle but instead I got a pecan waffle. Didnt want to complain cuz the waffles came out last and I was almost full. Maybe next time
