We were in town for the Christmas Festival and needed a bite to eat. We walked in at about 415pm and were seated promptly in the dibing room accross the patio. We ordered a Louisiana Roll and a crunchy roll to start. Both came out promptly and to be honest were on part with what you get at your local grocery store. My Daughter ordered house fried rice, wife got the pan fried scallops, son ordered teriyaki beef, and I ordered the Udon noodles with everything but the kitchen sink in there. The wife and son got a ginger salad and miso siup. The soup was tasty but the salad was sitting in a puddle if water. All of the main dishes were pretty good. I have had the Scallops dish at another Hana location and I knew it was good. The teriyaki beef was a little tough but still very tasty. My Udon noodle dish was quite savory and I added a little siracha sauce to it to give it a kick. The presentation on the Udon dish and the scallop dish was really good. The service was pretty good, just on me thing that annoyed me was that it was my daughter's 13th birthday and she said they were too busy to stop and sing happy birthday for her. She did offer a free birthday ice cream though. Overall it was a good dinner out, but I would probably go to the other Hana location in Natchitoches because it has hibachi.

Lots of sushi options (more than than the Keyser location) but also not many choices for non-sushi eaters. While the atmosphere was great, the service was not. The waitress did not seem thrilled to answer questions and came off kind of rude. I recommend just going to the Keyser location. They still have a good number of sushi options there.

If you're craving sushi and in Natchioches, you have got to try Hana. My boyfriend and I were fiending sushi. Now I don't know if you know this, but Louisiana isn't exactly known for their sushi. Still, this place had good reviews and he was craving a spicy tuna roll like no other. The restaurant is located downtown, right down the street from Northwestern State University. The area is adorable and Hana has a really nice spot. We sat at the bar and were treated to a delicious crab and cucumber salad. We ordered 5 rolls, all averaging from $5-$10. Being used to New York City prices, this was a steal! The rolls came out about 5 or 10 minutes later and they were amazing. This place could easily rival any other expensive place I've gone to in the city. My favorite was the Tiger's Eye Roll. It had smoked salmon, cream cheese, and jalapeno covered in rice. The Spicy Tuna roll was very interesting. It tasted like the chef had rolled the tuna in jalapeno juice. It was too spicy for my liking but my boyfriend liked it a lot. We had another roll (maybe the rock and roll?) that was stuffed with snow crab, cucumber, jalapeno, and topped with tuna and crunchy. The pieces were so big they were hard to fit in my mouth! Regardless of the size, this roll was delicious. The Crawfish Roll was my boyfriend favorite. It had crawfish tempura, snow crab, and avocado. The sauce that was on it was amazing and the crawfish was absolutely perfect. Our check came and it was only $40. The only problem was we ordered 5 rolls but only received 4 rolls. Our waitresses had changed, so the new waitress didn't know quite what to do. The chef insisted that he gave us 5 rolls but unless two of the rolls only had 4 pieces (as opposed to the typical 8) then we only received 4 rolls. My boyfriend tried to explain that the other roll we ordered had shrimp tempura in it. Clearly, there were no tails leftover on our plates therefore we did not get the roll. The waitress was flustered and said the chef said he gave it to us. Finally, we told her to just run the card. So much for the customer always being right. The place was super dead for a Saturday night. The restaurant itself was so cute and charming, definitely a perfect date spot. The service is meh. We weren't there that long yet we had two or three different waitresses. Plus the whole debacle with the missing roll. Could've been handled better, for sure. All that being said, if I ever find myself in Natchitoches and craving sushi again, I will definitely be hitting up this place.

Do not waste your time or money coming here. Slow service and food was not great. Our gyoza appetizer was cold, ginger salad so full of water it was soup - miso soup was mediocre. Ordered teriyaki - was supposed to come with steamed rice and steamed vegetables. One piece of carrot, one piece of broc, one baby corn and some onions...what the heck? Then we had to ask for the rice...waiter comes back with cold sushi rice telling us they were out of steamed rice. How can they be out if rice?? Horrible. Won't ever be back and would never recommend to anyone else.

We stopped in from the Christmas festivities. It was nice to find a sushi restaurant in historical Natchitoches. Miso soup and salad with ginger carrot dressing was good. I sampled a Tiger roll with a assortment of fish on top. The spicy takka dish was excellent. It was huge pieces of tuna on sushi rice. I would recommend this restaurant if stopping in from shopping or watching the fireworks.

Probably the best they have around here. Friendly staff. I tried crab roll and another one without rice. $20 later with tax included I was fairly satisfied. Not bad. You can give them a try, hopefully you will not be disappointed. I took a picture. I got it to go.

Sushi is good, considering the area and competition. Menu at this location has a pretty good assortment of rolls, sushi and sashimi are limited. Tempura and other cooked options aren't the best, better to travel to Shreveport. Atmosphere is very good, great location in historic downtown Natchitoches overlooking front store and the river.

We have eaten at Hana before when we visited Natchitoches but I decided to add this review after our visit on Saturday December 14th. It was a very busy as this was a night for the Christmas lights and fireworks. All of the restaurants were overbooked and I knew it would be difficult to find any place to eat after the fireworks. When I went in to see if we could get a table for eight it didn't look very hopeful. The manager asked for a minute to see what she could do. She got a couple of waiters and they put some tables together and had us seated in under three minutes - this was greatly appreciated!! The meal was delicious and our waiter, though very busy, served us quickly and kept a close check on our needs. If you are in beautiful historic Natchitoches I recommend you check out Hana.

Best Sushi in Natchitoches. Yes you can get much better sushi in other bigger, more populated places, but if you wanted sushi in the limited environment here, this was the place to go. Authentic, delicious, great rolls. This location was better than the newer one, but this one was also the just sushi place, which was what I wanted. I craved their sushi.

Food is great. Service can vary. Unfortunately the quality of service is often determined by your outside appearance and dress. If you are not dressed affluently they seen to think you are not the right kind of customer. This seems to only happen with the few asian servers. Food comes out extremely quick so you might want to order your sushi/rolls after you receive your appetizers. The Beef Tartaki is to die for.

Hana was great- the sushi we ordered was pretty good and the hand rolls were fantastic. Our waitress was good and the food came out quick. If you like sushi, check it out!

the service is so bad! !The waiter was asking for credit card when we are just in the middle of eating. It's really unbelievable. Also keep asking us when to leave! ! For God sake, never come again! !

Lots of sushi rolls to select from. Nigiri was fresh. Very polite staff. My second time coming here. A treat.

Great rolls and good atmosphere! Service is a little iffy but that's par in Natchitoches. They do carry a few higher-end sake's and they have a full bar and a nice little courtyard---definitely a great spot to have a good lunch or join friends for rolls and sake!
