Went through the drive thru and ordered. Two meals. Every meat I picked they were out of. After a few tries she finally said they had brisket, turkey and sausage. This was at 6:30 pm on a week day. I ordered on two-meat plate and one quarter plate. After paying almost $20, got home opened it up and had one order and one side. In addition, the two-meat consisted of a few small pieces of turkey and a "brisket" which was about the size of an ice cream scoop and was made up of fat and goop. The fried okra was good the baked potato casserole was ice cold. Not going back.

A very good barbecue restaurant. A regular customer at least once a week. A little expensive though, but you get the good quality food.

If you like barbecue, but don't want the person manning the pit to care at all, or even worry about producing a tasty product, this is the place for you. With the influx of ancient tourists to the area, this is the Piccadilly of barbecue restaurants for them. Bland, no-smoke flavor barbecue with Walmart deli equivalent sides are what's on the menu here. Despite it being about 11:30 a.m. when I hate, they were out of seemingly everything. There's no such thing as "out of brisket" thirty minutes before lunch rush. Also, no potato salad? What kind of place is this? Considering I was the only person in the place, it also seemed to take an inordinate amount of time for my food to be prepared. I really tried to like it, but that just wasn't meant to be. The thought of a barbecue restaurant that is easy to get to, has "fast food" fast service, and tasty product is just something that nobody seems to be able to pull off.

Me and my husband stopped here as our first stop on our weekend vacation. I ordered the special, pulled pork with green beans and mac and cheese. . Ford was cold, meat was very greasy and had lots of fat in it. I will not be eating here again

Been to Dickey's Natchitoches twice. It's been busy since it opened two weeks ago, Food is overall good, but service is the pits. Tonight I stopped by because the crowd seemed down. The first guy took my order quickly, made it quickly. There was one couple ahead of me, and the line came to a screeching halt. I waited fifteen minutes, staring t my sandwich nd slaw while the cashier tried to figure out how to ring up the couple in front of me. They chatted, laughed, added another side, paid for it, then changed their mind. When they finally left, the cashier kept asking me what my second side was. I repeated slaw only three times. It was the same on my first visit. How long before they get it together?
