Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I stopped in to get a buffet to go. Buffett wasn't very big, but I must say there were great dishes with fresh veggies. ~green beans- great, chicken broccoli-great, beef zucchini- good & fresh, egg rolls- yummy! My two favorites-General Tao chicken & lo mien! Reg. dinner buffet was $7.55, seafood with crab legs was more. Plus they deliver!!

I recently ate at this restaurant after having skipped it over many a time before. I really only stumbled through the front door due to my other pick (Pho Tien) being closed at the time. I was charmed by the small environment and minimalist decor, but taken slightly aback by the shy, near mute hostess who vaguely pointed us in the direction of a table, before the owner came up and helped better guide us to where we sat. The menu was simple and full of options, all of which sounded nice and (for me) didn't need much explanation seeing as they didn't give explanations, except for the specials. When it says "Spicy Beef" I just take it at face value and dive in anyway. The prices were all very reasonable, nothing but the specials seemed to go over the $9.99 mark. So I decided I would just go for Spicy Beef, after my girlfriend tried to help me decided between that and three other dishes. She herself went for the General Tso's Chicken. Before the main entrees arrived we had an order of spring rolls followed by egg rolls. The spring rolls were wrapped in a very light, flaky casing while stuffed with sauteed onion and beef. Those came served with a vibrant red sweet and spicy sauce. The egg rolls themselves had a very vegetarian appeal to them, even when there was shredded pork inside, they still were light tasting, though quickly filling. Soon after these there was the wonton soup that came with the meal (if one orders off the family dinner plan). It was certainly different than any other wonton you get around Lake Charles, as it had a very strong hint of fish sauce in it. I personally am a huge fan of the pungent sauce, so I can't say I wasn't pleased with the broth. As for the wontons themselves, I may just not get along with the casing, but I found them to not fit right in the broth they were served in. They tasted sour to me so I just stuck to the broth and let my girlfriend finish the wontons. For the entrees I found the spicy beef to be none spicy what so ever. My girlfriends General Tso was much spicier, but even then it wasn't enough to really clear the nasal passages or anything. If one is looking for spicy, I would recommend stressing that you like spicy food to the waitress/waiter. As for the overall flavor, both meals were good, though I found the spicy beef to be lacking in robustness and thought the beef to be a bit too chewy. The General Tso's is some of the best I have had in town. Much lighter than the heavier corn starch ridden kind you'll find at our local buffets. I recommend the place if you're looking for good American Chinese.

Great Chinese buffet! The staff is always extremely friendly and attentive; you can't beat the service. The food is very tasty and consistent. I would recommend this place all day long over any of the other buffets in town.

Great little place to get Chinese food. Nice family that owns it. I had the dumplings, which they make on site and the seafood birds nest both were delicious.
