Love this place. Nice quite. Outstanding currie and noodles. I like mine very hot. Chef will take it up as hot as you like. Try it.

I have been a loyal fan of this place since it opened. They don't always tell you when you order, but you can get everything spiced to your liking on a 1-5 scale. 1-2 tends to be on the light side. 3 spicy but tolerable. 4-5 starts to push it beyond what most people are looking for. They've got most of the standard thai offerings. I love all the curries and the pad thai noodles. The spring rolls are great too!

As an Asian, I find this place serves pretentious Thai Food. Song Phi Nong on Enterprise is definitely the closest to Authentic Thai food.

It's the place to be when you're feeling down and Calamari deprived. Their King of The Sea will do it for you. If this isn't you, they carry an assortment of curries and other things. You can order the spiciness to your liking in star ratings. The most spicy is a 5. The spring rolls are a wonderful appetizer. Their food hasn't disappointed me yet. In this hit and miss world, that's something to say! The service is usually good and the environment . . . peaceful? Very Zen like is maybe a better description. You may have to ask for a new tea bag when getting a refill on your jasmine.

I haven't had any disappointing dishes but I'm always steered back to the Yellow Curry. It's addicting to me. I usually get it with tofu/vegetable but its great with shrimp too. The shrimp are a nice size and tasty. I ate here today and tasted the Pad Woo Sen. I just might have a new favorite. Also love the Tom Kha Pak soup and the Thai Fresh Rolls. I can't believe it's not busier. Its a cozy little place and the service is fine. Everyone that I talk to that has eaten there loves it. I guess its because its kind of tucked away behind Olive Garden in a strip type shopping center. You have to know it's there. On the flip side if you don't want to have to wait for a table, but still want great food, this is the place.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Houma! The spicy Thai basil and the red curry are fantastic every time. Service has always been great.

They have a beef pho now that is out of this world, and I've tried a lot of pho! Seriously...try the pho but be forewarned that you will be absolutely spoiled by it.

Went on Sunday for lunch with friends. Ended up leaving before eating thanks to the poor service. Had to actually flag down the waitress and ask her what was going on with the appetizer to find out they were out of that item. Ok. That happens. Thanks for the heads up 20 minutes after the order was placed I guess. Had to flag her down again 10 minutes later to ask about our main orders (Items were ordered at the same time) and was told that they only had one cook. I can put up with slow service, if the food is worth it (no idea if it is) but what really got to me was the lemon in my drink smelled like plastic washed in rubbing alcohol. Last straw scenario at that point. I won't be returning.

My husband and I have eaten here several times. The first time, the food was amazing! Second time was good but not so amazing. Then so so to not good at all. I think it's a matter of different cooks and non-consistency. It's worth a try though !

I'm a bit of a Thai snob and I didn't find this place extremely great. It was good but I don't think I would come back and try it again. I had the Penang curry on 3 starts of hot.. it was good but it lacked a certain something.... it also had a generous portion of bamboo shoots that were a bit overwhelming. I love bamboo shoots but not that much! My colleagues had the duck, green curry, and yellow curry. They really liked their food so I'm sure it just depends on who is trying it. Two of the gentlemen had thai tea and .. to my great surprise it was bottomless.. that's almost unheard of now of these days... I couldn't believe it! The entire meal for four people and about 10 Thai teas was ~80 bucks. It was okay.. but I might try some other Thai places before I leave.

Thai place in Houma- From spicy to mild, Emerald is the Thai place in the Lafourche/Terrebonne area. Servers help you determine what is your heat level and meal of choice. Make sure you try it with a Thai tea. Don't bother with a soft drink.

I ate here a little over a year ago. I had veggie drunken noodles and tom kai gai. ( coconut soup with chicken ) I have no doubt the vomiting that followed was food poisoning. Sadly I should have known better since my old boss had a roach in his food there roughly 2 or 3 yrs ago. I guess it was wishful thinking that they deserved a chance.

This place hits the spot when I'm craving for Thai food. The place is kind of small but cozy. Their tom yum soup is typical among most Thai restaurants. Spicy and sour taste. I've had the pad thai here and it's tasty. All the entrees, you can choose your spicy level from 1-5. My two favorite dishes here are the thai fried rice and the spicy basil. The spicy basil is filled with flavor with a hint of garlic taste. I will definitely come back and try their other dishes. Service is always great here also. Only downside is that they don't have any larb or drunken noodles here :(

Who would have thought the best Thai food I've had would be in Houma! We were on vacation - decided to try this place: great food. I had snapper in a spicy chili sauce. Wife had drunken noodles. Kids had Pad See Ew (sp?). Everything was really good. Spice was just what we ordered (I kinda wish I'd ordered even spicier). Even the Singha beer was good. This was a real surprise.

A welcome surprise! I wouldn't recommend the salad with the peanut dressing. It was iceberg lettuce with carrot shavings and a couple cuts of tomatoes doused in peanut dressing. The peanut sauce was actually very good, but the salad was so basic and bleh. The pad thai was a heaping deliciousness of goodness with a very big portion.

The Thom Ka Gai soup was very good, but the red curry could have benefitted from a few more veggies (although to be fair, maybe it's meant to be mostly meat and sauce). Server very friendly and efficient. Bit tricky tosspot this place--when you see Olive Garden, turn in.
