When they remodeled it was a beautiful casino. Now it's just nasty. Dirty carpet and smells so horribly of smoke you can smell it before you even board the boat. With the new casino in town you would think they would want to keep it in top shape but obviously they decided to let it run to the ground.

Great high ceilings, ventilation, and cleanliness. All the cigarette smoke dissipated quickly and was not an issue, which was pleasant. Had a great time, and the dealers were all friendly. And winning a few bux didn't hurt!

pretty cool set up. clean, nice and the waitresses bring around free drinks every 5 minutes, which is a good thing. i really like the location. i'm a fan of bodies of water and this thing sits right on the mississippi. love it. and their food area serves REAL lousiana food, which is far better than casinos elsewhere offer. i'm going back soon, just for the atmosphere

I'm actually just reviewing their Celebrity Grill. While the wait for our food was a little long, we were blown away by our meals! Started with crab fritters that were great, you can see and taste that they are packed with real crab meat and the sauce to dip them in was perfect. Many husband got the lil' beast and chili cheese fries. He was very impressed with the quality of meat. I got the glazed salmon and it has the be the best salmon I've ever had! The bacon fried green beans were really good too! Service was good, prices are reasonable, and food is heavenly! Can't wait to come back!

I love eating here and it makes me feel likw I am at someone Grandma house. I love the taste of their food in the buffet and I enjoy their cheesecake. The people are very friendly and I always have a very full glass of their delicious punch. I also love the view of the riverboat behind the facility. I absolutely love it here!

On Tuesdays, at the buffet, the food is pretty good, especially their boudin links; the best I've ever had in the state. Very flavorful!

Came here on a very quiet Monday morning and was told by security that cameras are not allowed into the casino. Seriously? Whose phone doesn't have a built in camera these days??? Not a very friendly place with half the doors saying "authorized personnel only". The rest of the place is musky and run down anyway.

Hollywood has been Hollywood for a few years now, as opposed to Casino Rouge as it used to be known. This casino is a lot cleaner and prettier than the Belle, but nowhere near the quality of L'auberge. Recent changes in the law allow liquor to be served after 2. I was here after 2 and the place was a ghost town...which meant prompt service from the waitress. My buddy and i also won over $1000 between us...so that's cool.

Boogie Nights in the Hollywood Casino...back in August I made a stop in with some friends to celebrate a birthday...because I was with friends it was a good time...however this really isn't my kind of place but notwithstanding they do it up right here with the 70's and disco era hits... High energy and loud and people obviously love it cause this night in August the place and the dance floor were packed!!! I would never make this a stop if I was lone wolfing it but if a group of friends ever want me to join them in another foray into the 70's I wouldn't say No!!!

They have really good sandwiches on the second floor ! Small casino, but games are worth a try! Don't go though, house always wins !!

Loss of one star for not having a Pai Gow table. However this is a great place with amazing ventilation. Sitting at the table games we had 2 smokers at one end of the table and it did not bother me at all. The dealers were mostly friendly, except for Fred bitching about not getting tips.
