We ate here with some friends last night and liked it so much that I brought my mom there today. The barbq brisket was very tasty and my husband loved the ribs. The mashed potatoes were good and baked beans too. Today mom and I had the barbq chicken breast, which we requested cooked well done, and they did it perfectly. I had steamed veggies and a baked potato. She had baked beans and potato salad. This will be one of our new favorite places to eat! It's down Hooper Road and very neat and clean inside. We had a fantastic, attentive waitress named Leslie. Next trip I wanna get a hamburger. Go try "American Farmhouse." You'll be glad you did.

I really liked this place. The service was great, food was awesome. There's a bar area which would be good if I wanted a drink after work or to stop and watch a game. I remember they have a good happy hour but will update with details. It's a cute little country place, they also have a deli area with sliced meats and cheeses. They sell local products too like seasonings and BBQ sauce. Will be back soon and update this review for sure.

Pass by here every other weekend and have been wanting to go. Placed a to-go order on my way back to Mamou. The trio appetizer had the best fried pickles I've had. But, it was DEFINITELY NOT worth the price. Would have enjoyed the pickles with ranch like it said it came with, but all there was was bbq sauce. Wouldn't have been much of a problem had I not been in the car. Even though the polite lady on the phone repeated my order back to me, it was still messed up :( The brisket was good. The BBQ beans were not. The mac and cheese was mediocre at best. The potato salad is basically a smashed baked potato with ranch dressing over it. It was ok food, but NOT worth the price. And the Bananas Foster Pie is NOT a pie. It is cheesecake. I like cheesecake, but only when I want cheesecake. I was expecting some type of pie not a banana caramel cheesecake :( Really disappointed :(

Went there on a Wednesday evening about 7, was not busy at all. I had the 1/2 BBQ chicken with a baked potato and also macaroni and cheese. Mac and cheese was hot and fresh, very good. The baked potato must have been left over from lunch hardly worth eating. The chicken was disappointing also, as the leg was very dry and the thigh was dry. The portions were good and would be a good value with a fresh baked potato and not dry chicken . Wife had the baby back ribs, baked beans and mac and cheese. Ribs were tender but on the dry side. Baked beans and mac and cheese were very good. Great service from the waitress we had. May go back to try something different

The crawfish is better and cheaper than Sammy's. The beer is also cheaper and they have all you can eat on Thursday with $2.00 domestic beer. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. I have enjoyed everything I've eaten so far!!!

Service is the only good thing I can compliment here. My brisket was 75% fat and not shaved like normal brisket, and NO flavor. Chick Fila has better cole slaw. YUCK for the cole slaw. Oh, the side salad was delicious (they prepared that lettuce real good!). Never again, and this was my 2nd attempt.

We really enjoy the Farmhouse. The food is great. Service is great. They have regular live entertainment with popular local bands. Great place!

I have been going to "the grill" since it opened, it has an awesome décor, the owners are there almost every day and its a well run place. they have the best hamburger in town, and super specials all the time. many nights there is live music too. a must stop if our out near the airport or in central
