Fantastic sushi. Great staff. A real hidden gem. I recommend the crunch munch roll. My wife and I often have lunch there on Fridays. We sit at the sushi bar and talk with Ned, the owner, who is as nice as you can get. Just go there now. You won't be disappointed.

Though the food is great, we constantly have issues trying to order to go orders. Very rarely do they answer the phone and normally it goes to a message with their hours. You cannot get through to place an order. Tonight was our last night trying....time to choose somewhere else to get sushi take out.

Great Sushi.... Need I say more. Sushi chef is a giant and he has a great assortment of rolls as well as custom requests. Great like Japanese restaurant. Great food service and pricing

Very classy inside -- don't let its strip mall location fool you. The sushi is very good, and our server was wonderfully friendly and personable. The banana sushi was actually very tasty -- you should definitely try it The eel roll was another highlight of my meal. Big menu, lots from which to choose. Entrees in addition to sushi.

Excellent! Great service, presentation & fresh ingredients. Always an enjoyable experience!

This is some of the best sushi I have ever had... anywhere! Great, friendly service. Not a chain.

I avoided this place because of it's strip mall location but immediately regretted that when I finally went inside. I fell in love with the atmosphere and the food! They had a nice selection of sushi rolls and many other dishes. The staff was very attentive and quick! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. (I told 3 strangers about this place on my way home from dinner!)

Excellent Sushi for a great price. Always friendly service. It's worth the trip out to Oldham County to go here.

Their sushi is really good, but their staff is even better. Went to pick up some sushi in the middle of a storm and dropped the rice while hurrying through the wind and rain on the way out to the car. The kind staff replaced the rice for us for free! The California roll and the philly roll were both excellent. Will be back.

A true gem in Crestwood. Great place with really fresh seafood and prepared well. They have recently added on and put a very nice upscale bar and seating area in and effectively doubled the size of the restaurant. The Sushi here is always top quality and they Chef will even cater to specific requests we have had. The Chef also tried out some of his new creations which were not on the menu. Stick to the Sushi as the rest of the menu is small and frankly doesn't compare with the Sushi. This frankly is as good as you can get compared to ANY other sushi restaurant in Louisville

This place is so good!! Great staff, they are very welcoming and helpful! The food is fantastic! Best fried rice I've had in a minute and the sushi is well made. I absolutely recommend a visit here

Personalable service. Fresh fish. Large size sushi rolls. Great lunch specials. Check this place out!

I would recommend sushi plates only. The other entrées (teriyaki chicken, etc.) are expensive for such small portions and they are pretty bland; they offer them for kiddos or those not wanting sushi. All the sushi we have gotten there has been absolutely delicious.

This place is a hidden gem! The sushi is fantastic and the service is good. I always start with the edamame, seaweed salad and an Asahi Beer. Then, my husband and I share the Fire Dragon and Derby rolls.

LOVE the sushi. Great staff and happy to have a quality sushi place in Oldham County. Some items are definitely more expensive than you would get elsewhere but just think, you now have another good restaurant in an area that was severely lacking for a Very Long time!

Good sushi close to home. Many of the options were tempura and had sauces with lots of creative combos. I'm a purist and like it fresh myself instead, but there are a few of those too. Will try again soon as our 8yo couldn't get enough. Decor clean and simple, service was ok, and the owner is very nice.

We were looking for a restaurant to replace our favorite, Sora Sushi who sadly went out of business. Rikishi is not it. While the Moonlight roll--a deep fried house specialty with spicy crab--is very tasty, the basic rainbow roll was underwhelming. The quality of the fish was tolerable, but pretty bland. I can see why most of the rolls offer some kind of cooked fish. The edamame was overcooked and the spring roll appetizer was bizarre--5 tiny pieces as big as my ring finger...maybe. The restaurant smelled a bit like old frying oil, too. Not what you'd expect from a good sushi joint. It may well be one of the better places in town (we haven't been in Louisville long), but we'll be trying some others before settling here.

First off let me say that the place is beautiful on the inside. But they don't seem to have a set theme to the restaurant. It's like a sushi place is trying to be an American grill. Food quality was not there for me, and I have tried virtually all decent, established sushi places within 20 miles and this one was amongst the worst. I even made a comment to the manager, I think his name was Nad, about our experience and their lackluster product for the price. He was obviously very offended and basically said we were not welcome to return. Pros: great looking, in a great area, no place like it very close. Definitely has the potential to be great if they make management changes and present better quality product. Cons: mediocre sushi at best, nothing special about their menu, poor service, cheap looking/tasting food. Might return again in a few months to give them another shot.

Who would think that you would find a great sushi place in Crestwood, Kentucky? But this place has great sushi and a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely go back.

Surprisingly good! By far the best Yum:Distance to Ocean ratio of any sushi place I've ever been. Fish was quite good- obviously frozen, but it's in Kentucky! Great and fast service. We'll be back next time we travel this way.

This place is great! Nice ambiance, great sushi, and great prices. I drive out of town just to have sushi at this unexpected place.
(5)Brittany N.
Best sushi we've ever had; come here often and still have not tried a roll I didn't love!!! We love this place! You won't be disappointed!!!

The outside does not do the inside of this restaurant justice. It is beautiful and very clean inside. The staff was beyond friendly and also gave us great recommendations. The food was the best Japanese food I have ever had. I will be bringing my family here many more times. Well worth the money and is a diamond in the rough.

I would have given them all 5 stars because their sushi is to die for but their service isn't that great. I got a California roll and a crunch shrimp roll to go with both no masago - it creeps me out. Anyway I got both of them, got into my car and realized the crunch shrimp was covered in masago so I went back inside to ask them to remake it. The guy who took my order made it seem like I didn't ask for no masago and the sushi master or whatever you call them seemed to be upset he had to remake it. Other than that the sushi was delicious and I'll definitely be back!

Great sushi! The rikishi salad was also very good. Friendly service! Good atmoshpere.
(5)Tamera W.
Excellent sushi and spring rolls. Having tried most Sushi places in Louisville, even with the strip mall location, we were pleasantly surprised! Definitely going here again!
