I love this place! We visit it when we visit family in the area (which is not that often). I remembered from when I last visited which was ten years ago when I was 8 years old and it was just as good as remembered when I visited yesterday. The sloppy joes are quite delicious and the one thing I really remembered for ten years was the moon pies which consist of ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies dipped in chocolate DELICIOUS!

Come for the ice cream and root beer. Stay to ogle the Amish people. I swear, it's like people have never seen a bearded dude wearing a buttonless shirt before. Anyway. I have often described Wana Cup as Amish Dairy Queen. They have fantastic ice cream creations, my favorite root beer EVER, and tasty food of the fried, burger and pizza variety. It's a great place for a quick meal or dessert when you don't have time for the Blue Gate or to head down the road to Middlebury. Look, Shipshewana is total Amish Tourist Trap land. It's a cute town, with some fun stores, but it's overrun with tourists and saying things like "Well I just want something Amish!" Sigh. The point is, I like Wana Cup. You should like Wana Cup too. But please, try not to stare at the Amish people for very long, it's not a zoo for pete's sake.

Went here on a Saturday night because there are few places to eat in Shipshewana after 5 unless you want to eat at the gas station (which would have been the same quality of food that I had at Wanacup but at a reasonable price). I ordered a hamburger steak with cheese, mushrooms, and onions on top. My meal was $8.49 and it came with fries and cole slaw (or runny potato salad because they were out of cole slaw). My plate came with a shrivelled 2" in diameter hamburger with a slice of cheap American cheese (hello! It's Amish country...good cheese galore gosh darn it). There were onions and 3 little tiny mushrooms on top that did help the taste of the overcooked patty (so did all the A1 I used). It wasn't enough that the overall appearance was disappointing I turned over the patty and it was burnt. Fries were of the lowest quality possible. Service was quick and friendly but avoid dinning in Shipshewana all together. You think Amish, ok good food right? No, the Amish are just good bakers. Go to another city to eat.

This is a "fast" place and you'll probably find it packed with locals, but I found the food to be sub-par. Good ice-cream cakes though.

This was a wonderful place to eat. Also a great place if you have never been around Amish like me. Great food, for a great price. If you ever drive through make sure you stop here.

We were looking for someplace to eat that wasn't a large buffet. We tried the Garden Gate Cafe but they had just closed. The owner was kind enough to point us to the Wana Cup. They were still open so we went on it. We ordered a Chef's Salad and a Country Fried Steak, the food came quick and we dug right in. It was very tasty. Service was fast and polite as well. Ordered a milkshake and that was just fair... Too much milk I think.

Loved this place. The pizza was amazing. When it comes to other dishes, you definitely get large portions for your bucks.
