Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Love the atmosphere and staff. Everyone is always friendly. The food is wonderful and the prices are very affordable. Taking the family out to eat here won't break the bank!

Been a regular there for a while. The food is always great as well as the service. I think in all the years they have been open we have only had one time with bad service and never a bad meal. You should surely check it out!

Stopped in for lunch on our way through the area. Friendly staff and prompt service made our visit pleasant. We sampled the chiles rellenos and chimichanga for our lunch. Their pico de gallo has a nice spicy punch to it, and their table salsa was good. The rest of the food was fine. An enjoyable stop for lunch.

This place is a great find in the middle of my trip passing through from Indy to points north. I've had lunch here several times and it has always been an excellent experience. The food is very flavorful and the salsa is fresh and tasty with a little heat. Interesting and unique flavor twists keep this restaurant fresh and enjoyable. Today I had the veggie fajita taco salad. The sauted vegetables included onions, peppers, broccoli, carrots which were very nicely seasoned. The broccoli especially was delicious. The lettuce and tomatos were fresh and tasty. I always enjoy the rice here, again the unique flavor and added ingredients set it apart from the rice found in most Mexican restaurants. Service is friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable and lunch specials are cheap. Mucho comida for poco dinero. The chicken tortilla soup always looks amazing. I don't eat meat but it is very popular, it seems that at least one person at every table orders it. I actually ate lunch here two days in a row this week. Traveling through Rochester with a coworker I introduced her to this place and then on our return trip the following day she suggested we return. Now she plans to be a regular here.

There were 8 of us at this restaurant. We tried each other's meals. I would say one of them was good: the chicken and shrimp fajitas. The guacamole was fresh and good. The house margarita was also good.

Staying in town over the weekend and came here because of the Yelp reviews. They were right! I had Chicken Toluca and it was perfect and they served me quickly. Waiter was friendly but he didn't bring me chips and salsa and I was almost done before he asked how my meal was. If I lived here, I'd be back.

This restaurant was fabulous! Read the reviews on Yelp. ..the chicken tortilla soup was AWESOME! It is a meal in itself. Margherita was perfect! Salsa and chips were fresh! Well be back! Bonus is they serve huevos rancheros!

Staff is friendly and food is very good and seasoned well. We stopped on our trip thanks to previous yelp reviews and were not disappointed. Salsa and chips were wonderful, too! Get the shredded pork!

Being a transplant from Texas, I was missing TexMex food. These guys do a pretty good job in my opinion (better than about half the places in Austin right now). We've been there four times and I've enjoyed everything I've tried. We like them enough that we took my parents to eat there when they came to visit. My dad can be very picky about Mexican food (he's been in Texas for 60 years) and he had a fish dish (Tilapia, I believe) and he said it was good. We'll be back! I just wish they used skirt steak for the fajitas, but I'll take what I can get!
