Nice family restaurant, very clean and modern. Stopped for a Sunday dinner, I had the prime rib special. The other two in my party ordered sandwiches. My prime rib was very good and the service was fast. I would definitely recommend.

Mediocre diner food. No better or worse than Denny's, or restaurants of that ilk. The food does come out to the table suspiciously fast, so one can only deduce that the pre prep is completed way before you have decided to dine there. That's OK for some food items, but not all. As I like to say with any place I review who gets generally less than 3 stars,...... It's off the list! It just confirms with me that if you get a questionable and/or queasy/uneasy gut feeling about a place the moment you set a foot inside the door, it's usually right 99% of the time. Oh well, I guess I just got 'learned' again.

We called ahead to let Indy's know we'd have a party of about 20 people. They were very kind and had the tables all set up when we arrived. The waitress was really on it as well. The food was ok...ish. The gravy tasted like it was canned and the grits were definitely instant... but it served a purpose. Overall, it wasn't a BAD experience, but it wasn't great either.

Love the free wi-fi. The food is uhm... well it comes out of the kitchen pretty fast. Taste, not great. I had blueberry pancakes and even with syrup on them they didn't really taste like anything at all. I had eggs, hash, and potatoes and just kept putting hot sauce on it until it finally tasted like hot sauce.

Family friendly! Stopped in for an evening meal. I ordered a daily special, Beef Tips on a bed of rice, smothered with mushroom gravy. A fresh salad and a side of corn completed the meal. Great food, great service. Wait staff attentive and friendly. Nice layout, clean and comfortable. Booths and tables are available to accommodate your dining party. A couple wall mounted TVs are available for your viewing pleasure.

Service is extremely slow! An hour wait to get food. Will not go back!

My wife and I ate breakfast here. I had pancakes and eggs, my wife had eggs and toast. It was pretty good. The staff was friendly and the service was decent. We will definitely go back for some more, maybe for their lunch or dinner.

Against my threats of preferring self cannibalization, I was forcibly dragged back to Indys, and surprisingly, it wasn't terrible. My potato skins were not good, but I also got a pork tenderloin sandwich which was moderately tasty... A huge improvement over my previous visit. Thinking this was merely a fluke, I returned about a month later and ordered a Cowboy Melt and fries. It was actually good. I'm increasing my rating to three stars.

Food quality is mixed but tends to be on the low side; especially for the prices they charge. Unless you are desperate or need free wifi, I would go somewhere else.

We were able to get 2 breakfast entrees and one lunch item plus 2 drinks for $26. Super friendly staff and decent food. The wait is a little slow for the food to come out but we cleansed our plates like it was nobodys business! Nice family run restaurant

GREAT RESTAURANT ON THE HIGHWAY! If you happen to be traveling through Indiana, near Indianapolis, maybe to Brown County State Park, get to Indy's for great food. On the exterior, there is a big red sign that says INDY'S. Rather non descript. It looks like a regular local boring family restaurant from the outside. Not so. It happened to be Father's Day when we where in the area, we were starving and just chose the closest eatery which happened to be Indy's. Their food is fresh fresh fresh. They were featuring Strawberry everything because fresh strawberries were in season, and did you ever get fresh strawberries. I ordered a Veggie Omelet that was so fresh, cooked to perfection and not greasy. It was the best omelete I've ever ordered. And huge. Everything on the menu was excellent. The staff was so friendly, the restaurant was very busy, the service was top shelf. You could tell that the workers love their job. The owner stopped by our table. His wife was the Hostess. The nicest couple, Dennis and Jill. He worked in the restaurant industry in New York and LA area. His experience shows in every detail at their restaurant. He's had the restaurant for 3 years. The only thing I would change is the Exterior Sign. Dennis said it would cost 50k to replace so I guess it's staying for a while. People drive from Bloomington to eat here.
