I've always been pretty fond of Bravo! in the past, but the past couple times I've been I was less than charmed. My server was excellent, on the ball with the foccacia and seasoned dipping oil, all around pleasant, but the food was sub-par from what I remember. I've always been a big fan of the bruschetta with mushrooms and boursin in the past, but it seems they changed their recipe a bit since I last had it, the bread tougher and there seemed to be a little lemon zing in it I hadn't noticed before. But, it still got the job done in my belly. The main disappointment was the plate of Penne Med I split with my wife. If I were to guess the ingredient list for the dish, it would go: salt, salted pasta, salted butter (menu said olive oil, but it definitely tasted more like butter), less than 2% of spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, and feta. We were both gulping down water afterwards. Like I said, I've enjoyed Bravo! in the past. I think the pasta Woozie is a pretty safe dish, and their pizzas are solid. But, someone in the kitchen just seems a little heavy handed with the salt well when it comes to entrees.

My mother and I decided to try some Italian in Indy on the weekend she was visiting. The restaurant wasn't very busy for a Friday night, so we were seated right away. The restaurant seems like a lot of Italian places, very open and fairly noisy. However, our food was very good, and the leftovers were quite good too. Our waitress was friendly and decently attentive. I did think it was somewhat expensive, but the food was very good.

Cute Italian Chain with Good Service. I like something a little more authentic than this usually, but every now and again when I want something sit down and easy with an Italian flair, I come here. The staff is friendly and the food is always good. The place itself is cute and very clean. They had this amazing banana chocolate chip cake as a dessert for awhile that was too die for! If I had known it wasn't going to stay on the menu I would have asked for the recipe! We loved the cake so much that we ordered a full cake from them for a family birthday party--It was amazing! PS: I love the wine flights!

We had not been to Bravo in at least 3 years, having found equivalent or better Italian dining at lower prices, but we got a promotional card (up to $15 off a second entree) in the mail, and it was $5 martini night ;) so off we went. Got there just before six, place has some business but we were seated right away. Our server promptly greeted us and took drink orders. She was cheerful and helpful, but not overly familiar, a very good waitress. Wife ordered one of the new items (just added day before) on the menu, Chicken and Shrimp with vegetables and Arugula over Faro and Orzo with "Red Peppers Gastrique" sauce. Unfortunately the chicken was somewhat dry and the four shrimps, although adequate in size, were just a little "old" tasting. When the waitress asked how we were enjoying the meal, we mentioned this, and she immediately offered to replace the dish with something else, as did the floor manager a little later - I consider this a good sign, but we did not want to wait for a replacement so we declined. I ordered a Caesar side salad ( which was excellent, still good as it always was) and meatball and spicy pepperoni stuffed manicotti in a tomato cream sauce. This was three good-sized manicottis and was quite tasty. By the time we were finished, the restaurant had filled up considerably - the place always seems to do good business. I gave it three stars because of the poor entree and somewhat high prices, but it would have been four if that wasn't the case.

I had the most wonderful lunch here the other day. I got their 5 oz filet with vegetables (spinach, red peppers, asparagus, and sweet potatoes). This entire meal came out to less than 400 calories and was extremely filling. I absolutely loved this meal. The only downside is the fact that I have 2 young children and all the tables felt a little close to each other for my liking. I will definitely be back again some time soon!

Celebrating mediocrity. The family wanted Italian, just as we got to Township & 86th street. The immediate options - Fazoli's or Bravo. We decided to go with Bravo. Should have decided to drive a bit further. We had two different pasta dishes, soup of the day, a couple of kids meals. A dessert. It all tasted, well, mediocre. Great example, if I ever need to explain the difference between a cook and a chef. If I was the owner, I'd start worrying about the new Olive Garden that is being built near Michigan & 96th street...

It's fine for what it is. The menu is perhaps a little more interesting than similar places. The olive oil dip with the focaccio is actually very good. The Caesar salad is overdressed, but still tastes decent. The tortelloni with sausage was actually quite tasty. An adjoining table had the pizza, which looked delicious. The servings are quite ample. Our server was nice and attentive, but he seemed to be really new, or at least uncertain. We were there on a Sunday night, and the place was almost empty. I'd probably choose Amalfi again if in the neighborhood, or drive a little farther to Capri or farther to Sangiovese.

It's too bad. I actually make it a point to come into this place whenever I travel into town for work (which is quite often). This time I walk in and rather than sit at the bar, I decided I'd rather sit at a table. Well I sit down and wait for a minute....then two...then five. No one talked to me or even registered that I was there. There were probably 5 tables total for a Thursday night. Not busy at all. In fact several waiters/waitresses just past me by. One fella actually cleared two tables adjacent to me with no word. I walked out. Would only consider coming back if I get the slightest urge for their food which is its only saving grace.

Bravo has a great chopped salad! They also have very extensive menu including wood oven fired pizzas! Sometimes it can get a little pricey depending on what you order but it is a decent chain restaurant. Happy Dining!

When the very first Bravo restaurant opened years ago near Castleton Mall, I was among the crop of servers. Honestly, I liked the menu better back then...there was this amazing wood-fire roasted eggplant, tomato and fresh mozzarella stack.. Anyway, I do like Bravo and I do like the newly updated digs of the Lake Circle location. Actually, it would be cool if the landlords would renovate the rest of this strip mall to make it match Bravo, which now stands out like a sore thumb. While the food at Bravo has pretty much been consistent, especially the salads, calamari fritti and pasta dishes, the service and pricing here has left me thinking something less than "molto bene" on a few occasions. Let's just talk about my most recent visit: a shared order of bruschetta and two bowls of Italian Wedding Soup. Though my girlfriend did specify that this was our dinner, the soup came out first and was followed some 30 minutes later by our bruschetta...I still haven't figured that one out. Unfortunately, our server didn't seem to notice that we were letting our soup get cold because we were hoping to get our bruschetta to go along with...meanwhile, we devoured the focaccia bread. And (insert fave server name) didn't heed our requests for more bread and oil. In the end, most of the bruschetta went home to my friend's better half because it arrived to table too late for us to enjoy it. Now, top that off with a $23 bill for the lot and you can color me ______ (does anybody know the Italian word for "pissed?"). Before you yelp back at me for being mean, let me stipulate that we drank iced tea, not wine. I will not abandon Bravo just yet, but am hoping my next dining experience is of better quality. Our server was, in fact, very nice and apologized profusely about the timing of our order and his lack of attention to our table. My take on the entire event was that he had too many tables to provide good service, so managers, this Yelp is for you!

I am never disappointed when I eat here.. The food is always delicious and the service is always impeccable.. Stopped and had lunch there today and got the Lobster Ravioli with a side salad and it was amazingly good.. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I visited Bravo today for lunch and finally decided to write a review since I come here often for the Lobster Bisque. As usual, the Lobster Bisque did not disappoint. It was rich and creamy, and bursting with great flavor. Additionally, plenty of lobster was present. This, along with the herbed bread dipped in olive oil was just what the doctor ordered on a cold and rainy day. Jason, our server, was spectacular, which completed our outstanding dining experience. Bravo also serves a great brunch on Sundays.

We frequent Bravo for many family, celebratory meals from birthdays to holidays. This particular visit was for Father's Day and we were accompanied by my boyfriends parents and grandmother. They were incredibly busy this Sunday afternoon, I am sure with others out for the holiday as we all know pops love pasta but our service and food was just too bad especially compared to others around us. It looked like our server was new, inexperience or just all around overwhelmed with the crowd but our simple family dinner laster we'll over 2.5 hours not because we enjoy each other's company so much. Other tables sat after us had drinks, ordered and had their meals served much, much faster than us and we're in and out as we found ourselves continually waiting and getting envious of the full glasses and fresh bread at our neighboring tables. There were several glasses left empty and drinks that never got delivered to our table. The coveted complementary bread came out barely cooked after multiple requests. We made reservations as we knew they would be busy and we need a table that accommodates two wheelchairs. We always call in advance so they aren't surprised by this request despite the fact all restaurants should be fully accessible.... But I digress. This seemed to be a challenge for our hostess' as they kept adding and removing chairs from our table and put us in a VERY difficult table to reach and maneuver to in a wheelchair. The table next to us was so very close the servers kept bumping grandma in her wheelchair which got old fast for the quick witted 96 year old. I am sure we will venture here again for another family gathering at some point once everyone forgets about our most recent experience, as it has been traditional a family favorite in the celebratory rotation.

I'm in a complicated relationship with Bravo. I've gotten carry out from this particular Bravo before and enjoyed it. My faves are the pasta Bravo and the salmon. BUT, when I went to the restaurant the other day, I did not like my salad or pasta that much -- the house salad had far too much creamy dressing on it, as did my pasta. The waiter was very friendly though! One of those gregarious waiters that you get every once in a while who presents the menu in an entertaining fashion and engages you in conversation beyond the food. IMO, it's a bit pricey for the quality of food. However, props to them for jazzing up the restaurant to feel fancy-schmancy AND for changing up the menu to include healthier options. (See what I mean about this complicated relationship??)
The food was boring and average. The prices were high considering portion size. The beer selection was laughable. Peroni on draught. The other options are lame (Bud/Coors/Miller). When I inquired, the waitress proudly announced "And all of our beers are hand poured!" What does that even mean? Does hand pouring a Bud Light make it any more of a beer? I ordered a cocktail instead. It was listed as strawberry basil, but they were clearly out of basil. Instead of coming back and asking me if I wanted something else, they just made it without. It was gross, but I didn't complain. I just won't come back. Blech.

You know that feeling of satisfaction you get when you've eaten some amazing Italian food? That didn't happen. I felt sick to my stomach a couple hours after this meal. There's no way this place is anywhere near Italian. I'm just thankful Rob and I were alone when we ate here on Easter Sunday. Wouldn't want to subject any family or friends to this place. After Easter service, Rob and I found ourselves lacking nourishment due to skipping breakfast. Rob suggested Italian and wanted to try out this place for some time now. Looks swank inside, and promising. Black and white color scheme with an early 20th century feel, but you wouldn't think it was an Italian restaurant. Nothing screams Italian. Not even the mood music. Kitchen is visible to diners. Bar and table seating - no booths. We started with the calamari and the spinach artichoke formaggio. According to Rob, his calamari was all batter and no meat. Sent that back. My spinach artichoke appetizer came with pieces of toasted flatbread. Honestly, they tasted stale and old. The dip wasn't that great either. I've bought better at the grocery store. We just started putting the dip on the starter bread because it was better than the pieces of cardboard that came with it. For the main dishes, I ordered the pasta woozie and Rob had the sausage tortelloni. My pasta was ok, but Rob was thrown off by his dish. First, the name of the dish states 'sausage', but the inside of the tortelloni is cheese. Apparently, sausage is in the sauce. That's incredibly deceiving. Rob said that the quality of his pasta and sauce was, I quote, "like Chef Boyardee pasta from a can". Even with the calamari taken off the bill, it was still almost $40 for this ridiculous meal. I felt robbed. Even the mints at the door sucked - the disgusting York peppermint patty white crap with chocolate over it. My mouth was screaming, "Get us outta here!".

If you are like me you are always on the look out for a great deal and great food. This place can have both. So the great part - the bar happy hour menu. The prices are very good $5 martini's and a bar menu that has enough to satisfy pretty much anyone. Try to different flat breads, very tasty. The $3 burger can't be beat! The rest of the menu is ok. There isn't anything that jumps out as bold flavors. For free bread, it's pretty tasty. I've had items from the good for your menu to the not so good for you menu. The salmon with asparagus was a bit overcooked and had way too much oil on the pasta - not thinking that dish was as good for you as it claimed! The dinning room, it's pretty corny. The decor wants you to think it's from Rome - can probably take down the fake columns. The noise in the dinning room can get very loud. The service wasn't too bad my last visit. We did have a large group so I can overlook slower service. What was hard to overlook was the fact that we were crammed into a small space. There was very little room to move! I think when setting up for a group any establishment needs to remember these details. Is it the best place, no. Is it worst please, no. Don't go expecting fantastic and you won't leave disappointed.

Looking for a quick place to grab lunch with your coworkers? If the service is anything like my experience today, you might want to think twice before stopping here. Granted, it was a beautiful day outside and they have a wonderful outdoor patio that offers plenty of shade for a relaxing lunch, but the amount of time it took to get our food was way past the point of being reasonable. The scoop: Four of us went to lunch and were seated at 12:00 on the dot. Our server, Brittany, came over and took our drink orders right away, and came back with our drinks within just a few minutes. While looking at the menu, we noticed that two of us got the lunch menu, and two of us got the dinner menu. We weren't given new menus and had to share. Again, no harm there. After 5 or so minutes, she came back to take our order. Three of us got the half salad/soup/sandwich lunch combo and one got a pasta dish. 20 minutes later, our salads arrived (half of our lunch). We finished those and waited for the rest. And waited... and waited some more. 57 minutes from the time we sat down, the rest those of us who had the half and half order got out food along with the person who ordered pasta. While they weren't busy, there were a few other tables with people who were seated, ordered, ate AND LEFT while we were there. The check came out soon after we finished eating, but we had to ask another server to find Brittany and bring the credit card back out. A table of my coworkers were seated a few tables away when we got there, and they got their food right after ours... and was still waiting on their check when we left. In a nutshell, this was wildly uncalled for and not at all what one would expect at lunch. This place is off my lunch list for a while until they learn something more about time management; like how to respect mine.

I was here for a holiday lunch with my department where everyone enjoyed the food and had a great time! We had: -Passed appetizers: tomato and mozzarella bruschetta, portobello and Boursin bruschetta, chicken bruschetta, spinach and artichoke bruschetta, calamari, toasted ravioli with two dipping sauces -Chopped salad (loved the dressing) -Choice of three entrees: lasagna, chicken Milanese, and a shrimp dish with a spicy tomato cream sauce. I had the shrimp. I loved it. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. -Trio of desserts: I only had the brownie with the ice cream, but it hit the spot. At the end of our lunch, everyone was given a $10 Bravo gift card! It has to be used by February 28th. My birthday is before that so I told everyone to save their cards so we could do a fun bday lunch. There was only one snafu, which was remedied. There were 25 of us, but the table space was not enough for 25 adults. Two tables were added, but it left a few people out of the big group. Bravo, Bravo!

Not bad for a chain that I have not been to before, reminds of Olive Garden but of course a different menu. I ordered fettucini with a 'spicy' arriabta type sauce.. it was not close to spicy at all. I also ordered a mixed drink which was OK, refreshing as we had a long drive behind us and came to Indianapolis from Chicago burbs for a wedding. They were very accomodating, we had a large party and they gave us the party room in the back... they didn't have to do that considering when reservations were made they said they could not seat us there. Don't want to forget to mention dessert was great... I love the trio option! I would return, it has a great menu!

Blegh. I'm a fan of local restaurants in general, but when it comes to Italian food, more so. What they serve here is a sad corporate interpretation of Italian. Rustic it is not. Service was also spotty at best. It seemed like it was our server's first day on the job. He didn't understand the menu and was overly enthusiastic (apparently he read that section of the training manual). He of course managed to screw up my party's order not once but twice. When the food came out we experienced what I have called "The Taco Bell Syndrome" (trademark pending). It's when a restaurant has a finite number of ingredients in the pantry/freezer/fridge and whose menu has gone stale. So what do they do? They spin the ingredient wheel 3 or 4 times and create a "new item". In Bravo's case, how many ways can you combine some kind of pasta, a cream sauce, a red sauce, 1 or 2 meats, and 2 or 3 cheeses? Predictably, everything tastes the same. And, unfortunately, "same" does not equal "good". The one saving grace of the evening was when the manager came over (without us requesting), recognizing that our experience (food, service) was less than stellar and offered us a free entree. Of course, considering the quality of the entrees here that's more punishment than peace offering, so we got a slice of cheesecake instead (which was amazing).

This is my favorite Italian restaurant off all time. The food is never disappointing. Yummy brick oven pizzas and the kids get pizza dough to play with while you wait for your food. Load atmosphere. You can order half portions of the pasta dishes. They do not tell you that on the menu. Salads are really good too. Peach bellini's are scrumptious!

I was looking for somewhere to have lunch. When I searched restaurants near me, Bravo came up. I used to go to the one in Greenwood (I think they closed), but hadn't been there in years. I have often craved their lobster bisque, which was the only dish I remembered having, so I couldn't wait to have a bowl of it. It didn't disappoint. I've had lobster bisque at high end restaurants that aren't as good as the lobster bisque at Bravo...and it's less than $6.00. I had completely forgotten how good their bread and dipping oil was. I tried not to fill up on it, but as I sit here writing this review, I wish I'd eaten that last piece of bread. I didn't know what to order for my main dish. The waiter suggested one of three dishes on the $7.95 lunch special list. I love a bargain, so I chose the Pasta Yandolino. I was surprised at the quantity for such a low price and ended up taking half of it home with me to eat later. I wouldn't say it was a dish I won't forget, but it was good enough and filling. I can't complain.

My husband took myself and our kids here for lunch on Mother's Day. It was my first visit. The bread and oil was DELICIOUS. I had the Pasta BRAVO and, YUM!!! My daughter, who is a picky eater, bogarted my Italian Wedding soup and finished it off. Can't wait to go back!

Bravo is always a solid option for chain-type Italian. I like that they don't smother everything in a blanket of cheese or serve platter sized portions! They introduced a lighter menu in the past year, and while I usually get something involving pasta, I ordered the salmon from the light menu this time. The salmon was somewhat salty, but was fine; I'm guessing it was the frozen kind that has salt added in the processing. I would have been pretty displeased, if this were a seafood restaurant, but it was fine given that the pasta dishes are really their specialties. The vegetables that accompanied it, however, were great! Grilled asparagus, diced sweet potatoes, etc. I always appreciate getting something other than broccoli or green beans as a vegetable at a chain restaurant. On other visits, I've had a variety of the pasta dishes. The pasta definitely seems fresh rather than dried in many dishes (except for those that note they use Barilla plus multigrain...not sure why they can't get afresh wheat or multigrain pasta) If you're up for a splurge, the pasta Bravo is yummy - red pepper cream sauce! I usually have a glass of wine, but opted for a peach sangria. It was end of summer and we were eating outside, so sounded like a fun change of pace. Well....it was served in a regular 8oz white wine glass that was packed with ice. There was maybe 4oz of beverage in there (wine plus juice); in other words, the final product was very watery. The description mentioned berries and other fruit...this consisted of a quarter strawberry and a bar-garnish size piece of orange on a stick. Hmmmm....next time I will stick to the wine...this was not worth $7. Bottom line - decent and consistent food and service overall, and good for an after work dinner.

Had a great brunch experience. We ordered the calamari appetizer, which was very good. I enjoyed the horseradish sauce. Then the Bistecca brunch plate. Very, very good. Steak was cooked perfect, and my potatoes were seasoned just right, with a little kick. I know the hub enjoyed his margarita pizza, too.

We just love this place. Really, really consistently good food and service. Delish bread starter with their EVO dipping sauce, a bit cliche but great italian chopped salad, love their flatbread pizzas. Don't like the toppings mentioned? They'll make to order... and if you want to go home heavy in your Chevy desserts are always tempting as well. Our usual is the W 86th street location.

I am always happy with the level of service and quality of food here. I love the chicken scaloppini, lobster bisque, turkey blt, (indy's best) French fries, salmon, steak, (best) pork chops and Italian wedding soup. Not all at the same time. ;) I come regularly enough to know some servers personally. I definitely recommend this for a nice meal, especially for business. It can get noisy at dinner time but I find lunch is a more quiet affair during the week- as most places are.

Have not been to a Bravo in years. Tonight we wanted to go someplace that was not showing the Super Bowl. Driving by Bravo it was quite dead so we went there. Very nice inside, considering it's in a strip mall. We got fried cheese ravioli. It was good, not great. I got sausage tortellini. Way too much chunky sauce. The pasta itself had very little flavor. Other dish ordered was Chicken Parrm. Looked really really good. Very little taste. The side of spag had more flavor then the chicken. 65 + $ for Sunday dinner . No alcohol and no dessert. Waiter was friendly and kept our cola full. I go out to eat a lot. Eaten from NY to Wash state to Hawaii to Egypt to the Caribbean. I just don't know why people like Bravo?
The food was alright. I had better Italian food at different places. Due to our waiter, he wasn't that good. He wasn't friendly and didn't seem to care too much to wait on us. The caprese salad was pretty good. I got the cucumber drink and our waiter didn't ask me if I wanted gin or vodka. Maybe if our service was better I might have gotten a better feel for this place. The food isn't bad, I don't think I would go back unless I have to.

I have never been a HUGE fan of Bravo...I always thought it was super loud and hard to hear who you were talking to. I used to go here a lot when I was in my early 20s. It was a good "date" spot, but the older I got, the less I enjoyed how hard it was to hear in here. First of all, all the tables are SUPER close together so it's just difficult to not hear your neighbor's conversation, especially b/c they have to yell at one another. In addition, this makes it harder to hear specials, etc. However, that being said, I had a baby and I always think of loudish places to take him, so in case he melts down, we won't interfere with others' eating. I have never been a fan of crying babies while I'm trying to eat, so Friday night, we ventured out to join the in on one of the noisiest restaurants in the city. We went with my sister and her hubby. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff is always very polite, so that is a plus! Our waitress Bonnie was very good. She brought more than enough bread, served us our drinks promptly and we were able to get in and out in about an hour. Big plus, since Max wasn't really enjoying it and was ready for bed. I got the shrimp/chicken scampi. I thought it was a little too lemony and I would have preferred just chicken, as the shrimp were kind of chewy with not much taste. My sister got the lobster ravioli and it was good ...I grabbed a couple of tastes. Very flavorful. I don't really like lobster, but it didn't have a strong taste so it was pretty good. We ordered a $23 bottle of Pinot Grigio. It was very sweet and didn't really go with my lemony sauce, but it was a nice treat. My favorite item is always their chopped salad. I think it's the vinaigrette. It is just really tasty so if you enjoy a pre-starter salad, definitely get this! :) I also LOVE their bread. I'm still dreaming about it, even though it always ruins my appetite! It is just so delicious! :) All in all, this is definitely A-OK, but I'm not sure I'd go back regularly except that it is baby-friendly :), so that's a plus now that we are in a new stage of life and would hate to give up eating out all together! :)

I was never a huge fan of Bravo. I preffer The Cheesecake Factory for the menu choice over it. Anyway, my mother dragged me into Bravo and I went with her and my 7-year-old son. The waiter Steve was not very friendly. He never made an eye contact I found it to be odd. I told him that I had a coupon. He looked at my coupon and showed me which choices I could make from the menu. I placed the coupon near my plate on table. A few minutes later he walks to our table, without saying a word, picks up my coupon and takes it elsewhere.... We were sitting there looking at each other. Then he comes back and with an ink pen underlines are two words ":Sunday-Thursday" and we were there on Friday. So he said the coupon is not ok to use on Friday. So we decided .....Fine, we were already there. My mother and my son love their hot tea. It cost $2.65. So he brought cups, several packets of tea choices for each person and tea kettle. After my son had used 2 tea bags (he likes to mix his teas) the waiter comes in, without a word picks up tea bags (unused ones) and takes them off the table. My son goes ":where is my tea?" - I am sitting there blinking don't know what to say. The restaurant had only 2 other tables to serve and we waited for our food for 25 minutes at least. Then the waiter comes and I ask him ":where did the tea go?": - his reply was : ":I removed tea packets because you are supposed to use only ONE tea bag and you've used more than one". I figured you would not want to pay an addition $2.95 per tea bag...... That was the first time I heard such "policy":. I don't know what else I would call it. I gues he could've said "I am taking your tea away" to my mother (who's a senior citizen) but taking tea bags away from a child who's 7-years-old is beyond me.. were they really trying to make a few more bucks on us for using extra tea bags? If those tea bags cost $2.95 each then why not just give ONE tea bag with tea per customer? Why bring a whole array of 10 tea bags to choose from? The waiter never refilled my iced tea. He only asked if I wanted a refill when I paid my bill! Rofl! It was a horrible experience. I shouldn't have left any gratitude for him the way he treated us. For me Bravo is over. I am not going to a restaurant that counts how many tea bags you are using with your tea for which you paid the price listed on the menu!

Bravo! is part of a chain, but the quality of food they serve at a reasonable price continues to impress me. It can be loud and slow at dinner, but that's because it's popular. I like Bravo! particularly for lunch, because it has a certain elegance at a good price.

This is one classy joint. Lots more upscale than the walk-up Chinese restaurants, or Mexican restaurants in strip malls that I normally go to. Food quality is high, as you would imagine with the high quality decor. Plenty of attentive wait staff. Upscale clientele too. Their fresh bread baked on site is excellent, as is the seasoned dipping oil. Prices are a bit high, but so is quality. There is a more cost-conscious specials menu for both lunch and dinner. I'd rate this restaurant both "worth it" and "worth going out of your way for" if you're in the mood for high quality Italian dining.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

(2)Richard H.

Great food. Little on the pricey side. But worth it if u can afford it. Friendly staff willing to go the extra mile

Went here tonight :) I had a craving for Italian and something where if there wasn't a reservation we could still get in. So the place was crowded but only had to wait 20min. While we were waiting there, the hostess was handing out samples of their Spinach, Chicken, Bacon Flatbread, which is what I should have gotten. It was really good, so I do suggest that! :) I got the Chicken Milanese.. which is Chicken Parm. I didn't like it at all and that's not even a tough dish to make so I was disappointed :( However, their Creme Brûlée was AMAZING!!! It came in the perfect size excuse it was only part of their 'petite' desserts. The service was excellent and our waitress was very nice! There seemed to be a lot of people working the tables so they were always making sure you were doing ok. :) If I go back, the flatbread and creme brûlée is all I need!

(5)Ann L.

(4)Greg M.
The spaghetti and meatballs here are outstanding ! Would put them up against any Italian restaurant in the city !
(5)Justin H.
My wife and I love coming here for happy hour after work the shrimp Napoli is our favorite! Good food and great value!
(5)Tim O.
(5)Marianne L.

Ugh, what a night. After having gestational diabetes for months, I was craving a huge tasty plate of pasta with some good bread. Sadly, I had neither. From the start, our server was a knucklehead. When I asked for my Caesar salad with anchovies, he made a HUGE deal about how no one ever asked for anchovies and he was so glad I did, and aren't they wonderful, and it's so laughable that people say they don't like anchovies when they were mixed into all Caesar dressing, and...ok, Sparky. That's nice, now shut up and get mama her salad. They brought the complimentary bread, which was room temperature and stale. I wondered if it was left over from lunch. The entrees were equally a disaster. The menu description for the lasagna said that it had both alfredo and marinara sauces. I do not like alfredo sauce, so I asked knucklehead how much alfredo was included. He said just a touch, but they could leave it off if I wanted a different sauce. I said great, I want meat sauce, with extra sauce. When the entrees were delivered, he brought a bowl of meat sauce, then presented my lasagna -- covered in alfredo with no marinara sauce. The entrees were pricy -- the menu listed it at like $18, not including my salad, so I sent it back and reiterated that I do not like alfredo. Knucklehead seemed really confused, but gamely sent it back. I continued to eat my salad while my husband started on his entrée (they'd served our meals while I still had half a salad left). When the next lasagna came out, it was covered in meat sauce, but the pasta was overcooked to the point it was inedible. My wonderful husband offered to switch entrees, but when he found out how expensive the lasagna was, we sent it back again. We couldn't bear to pay almost $20 for something so awful. At this point, I had killed so much time waiting on a tasty lasagna that I had filled up on stale bread. I was also still hormonal and feared that if a third bad lasagna was brought, I might burst into tears or throw my meal across the room, so I declined a replacement entrée. Here's where the experience finally turned around. Knucklehead sent over his manager, who was super nice and apologetic. She insisted on replacing the entrée with SOMETHING, even if I just took something home. I settled on cheesecake since it would be good even if I couldn't finish it at the restaurant. It was delicious to the point it almost made the rest of the evening bearable. The downside -- it is imported from New York. So the only food at all that liked was not made in the restaurant. The food was a 1.5 stars and our server was a passable 2 stars. But the manager at this place was wonderful. Still that cannot be enough to give another star. And I was shocked to see on our bill that the lasagna price (which we did not have to pay) was $23 dollars. The prices on our bill were higher than those listed on the menu. Really inexcusable.

Order the Pasta Bravo and ask for the Diablo sauce. Mmmm.

Hubby and I had lunch here today, although a bit pricey for a lunch menu, both pasta entrees were very good. I had the Shrimp Forentine and hubby had the Spicey Shrimp Diablo.

Bravo! is part of a chain, but the quality of food they serve at a reasonable price continues to impress me.
