I met a friend for lunch here today. I had the Pork Salad, which was a standard salad which was topped with pulled pork. It was quite good and the vinegrette dressing was tasty. My friend had the Mediterranean Pizza. We ended up sharing our meals so I can also vouch for that being good too. Maybe best of all was the coffee. They serve Douwe Egberts coffee. I'd never had that type of coffee before, but it's particularly good. Plus, free refills. The atmosphere was nice and before we knew it, 2 hours had passed. You do have to order and pay at the counter. The food was served on styrofoam plates, and the coffee was served in a styrofoam cup. Given that my salad and my friend's pizza were $7.95 each, I would have preferred a real plate and the option of a mug for the coffee. Still, the service was friendly, the food was tasty, and it was fun to be able to walk around and browse at the candles and house-decoration things while sipping our coffee and chatting. It made for a nice afternoon, and I like having it as part of Centerville.

Great family run cafe with excellent sandwiches. My husband and I stop here every time we pass by this area. The little Italy sandwich is my favorite! Also the bread is baked fresh and is so soft!! If you are near by this is a must try!

So the food here was just fine. Actually, the pizzas were good. I would imagine, however, that the experience of eating in a candle shop is rather like trying to eat while your house is being fumigated for roaches. Also the dude running the cafe was super nosy. As in watching us like it was detention or something. Oh, and you have to pay for water. $.25, but still.

First don't get confused because you won't see a sign outside on the building with the name of the cafe. It is inside the main building in the back right corner. It is pretty small - maybe 10 to 12 tables but they are quick, friendly and what we had was very tasty. I had the chicken pomadori sandwich - Very tasty. My husband had a beef brisket sandwich with bacon (I think it was JoJo's brisket sandwich) and he was very impressed. Said the beef was very tender with a very good flavor. The owner even brought out a little sample of the pork bbq for him to try. We both had our sandwiches on the white bread which was more of a sandwich roll - not just white loaf bread. The bread was very fresh, soft and good. They also had cobbler, ice cream and pie by the slice. Unfortunately we were too full to try any dessert but it looked good. Definitely worth the stop and very easy access off and on the highway.

Slightly limited selection on food, but it's really good. I highly recommend the philly brisket with bacon, It was literally the best brisket I've ever had. I was pleasantly surprised. Located inside the warm glow candle shop. So you'll never have to worry about unpleasant smells.

BBQ beef brisket sandwich was good. Limit of one drink refill was a bit odd. Mrs. S. thought the Chicken Salad BLT was a good combination she'll have again.

I only had pie, but if you can make lemon meringue like that, then the food must be good! It was homemade including the crust. Homemade lemon meringue pie is hard to find around here. The guy at the counter did not seem offended when I asked if the lemon curd came from a tube. He assured me it did not! We will be eating here soon, even if it is just for pie!
