What a great place. We went this weekend for the first time and loved it. The service was outstanding, I had a burger, the best I have had in a long time, and the fries were fantastic. My wife had the brisket, which she smokes at home, but she loved it. Great atmosphere. Good job Who Dat's. We will be back. We just wish you would stay open at night longer. When we left, one of your personnel was on the phone and turned a customer away because the restaurant side closed.

From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the inside is nicely decorated. Unfortunately the food and the service more closely matches the outer appearance. Food was bland and flavorless. Chicken and waffles were clearly frozen and could be easily replicated with a trip to Sams. It might be a nice place to just go to the bar and have a drink, but I wouldn't order food there again.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and was impressed. I have lived in Louisiana before and while not an expert on Cajun food, I know my way around it. The staff was attentive and inviting. My crayfish etouffe was simply amazing. My wife had the shrimp gumbo and while she would have liked more shrimp in it, found it excellent. The better rating would be 4 1/2 stars. Bottom line: I haven't eaten Cajun this good for years.

Atmosphere is nice....comfortable and friendly. We had gator bites, jambalaya, and red beans and rice. It was all very good. Portions are generous and food was seasoned well....nice kick without overpowering the flavor of the food. Prices are reasonable especially considering the portion sizes. Definitely will be coming back. Don't forget to finish with the gooey butter cake!

N'awlins moves to Troy The food is great. From the gator, to gumbo, to jambalaya, you will love this southern style restaurant. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and the amount of spice in each, if any. This is my new favorite little southern food joint. It's good food and solid service in a small place. They could use more space and parking, but they have plenty of staff and I never felt ignored. The prices were reasonable and all the food was cooked and seasoned well. Try it and you will return.

Went here for the Cajun food reminiscent of New Orleans and was incredibly disappointed. Over cooked andouille sausage in the dry jambalaya, awful gumbo with a too spicy yet flavorless broth, soupy red beans and rice. I asked for shrimp in my jambalaya and got one measly over cooked shrimp. No redeeming qualities to be found. The other two people in my party were equally as impressed with their entrees. The service was fine, and the nice waitress took my uneaten gumbo off our tab. However I have no reason to return.

Ordered fried chicken, burnt ends and étouffée. Holy salt!!! Couldn't even eat the chicken due to the amount of salt in the breading. Étouffée was at least edible with nice chunks of andouille Burnt ends were ok I'll be sticking with Popeyes as my go to fried chicken joint

So good we are here twice in a few days time. Our first trip out we had gator bites for an app. and I had red beans and rice for my main course. Believe me when I say I was not at all disappointed. Best gator I've had without being in Florida. My other half had the fried pork chops, and of course I stole a bit, fantastic! They serve these great ranch mashed potatoe that are so good you'll want more. Ok the reason they only got 4 stars a just little things that could be done a little better. First they serve their salads on these tiny plates that make it hard to cute it and eat without it falling off the plate. Second it's very small inside and you don't have much room between tables. This won't be bad when it's nice out I love eating outside and they do have seating set up. Last the service was nice but not the fastest. I'm sure they just have kinks to work out. Everyone was so friendly that we didn't really mind waiting for help plus we could tell they were just busy. Great place so happy to have some place near home we like so much!

Food was very good. I had the muffaletta, girlfriend had the shrimp po boy. I think I'd have given it 5 stars if my sandwich was bigger. 9 bucks for a 1/4 of a sandwich is a bit steep - I'd have even been pleased with a 1/3. A good muffaletta isn't cheap to make, but when you're making almost 40 bucks for a sammich I'd better be full and have a box to take home, or a mouthgasm.

I loved all of the Flavor, nothing bland here! Everything from the burnt ends, gator bites, and fried pickles to the Cajun sampler was just plain delicious. We finished off with a chocolate chip gooey butter cake that was big enough for three to share. We will definitely be back.

Extremely disappointing. The cost is double what it should be for mediocre bland food at best. All the portions were really small with pricing that is double everywhere else. The service was very slow and sloppy. The workers at like they don't care to be there and one waitress would roll her eyes when you asked her for something. Really? We complained to the owner, and that was about worthless to even take the time. We have been to plenty of restaurants and portions are good with good/fair pricing. This place charges you double for half the portions!! The food was bland, and undercooked. Stay clear.

Excellent food and the friendliest staff around. I've eaten here a couple times, but tonight I had the cajun pork chops. Delicious meal with an excellent presentation (look at the photo I posted) at a bargain price ($9.99). There are only two reasons I gave four stars instead of five. First, a place that advertises itself as a bar should have draft beer. They only had bottles. Second, the seasoning was a bit Midwest biased for my tastes. Having moved here from California, I'm used to this. The same thing happens when I ask for salsa at a Mexican place here. In order to prevent dishes from being sent back for being too spicy, the chefs around tend to be a bit stingy on the spices. At any rate, the flavor was excellent, but a bit tame for my tastes. If you're in the area, I highly recommend trying Who Dat's. As far as I'm concerned, this is certainly the best place to eat in Troy.

First visit here was on Saturday and was pleased that we didn't have to wait to be seated and was super impressed by the menu because it covers about everything from Cajun, BBQ to fried chicken so it makes it easy to find something that you like. The place has been totally remodeled which looks great and the service was awesome. I ended up getting the special which was the Cajun pork chops with some gator bites and I will say that the sauce that they put over the pork chop and the mashed potatoes was amazing enough that we went back on Sunday and I ordered the exact same thing. I live in Troy and I hope Who Dat's keeps up what they are doing because its awesome food and its nice to be able to stay in Troy instead of driving to Edwardsville. The only thing I can say is add the Cajun Pork Chops to the menu instead of just having them as a special!! If I could rate this place 10 stars I would.

Disappointing. We love Cajun, and are fairly knowledgeable about it, so we were excited to see a place open close to us. We arrived midday, in the middle of a crawfish boil, so we knew they would be extra busy. We were seated, and the waitress took our drink order and got back to us quickly. We asked about menu items and were told that because we were eating inside, my husband could have either slaw or chips. He chose slaw. Later we found that there was a dollar upcharge, which our waitress did not mention at any time. I ordered burnt ends and jambalaya. The food was served in Styrofoam and on paper plates, with plastic flatware...I hate that! It is so bad for the environment, and just unappealing, especially when you watch the sandwich almost slide off the flimsy paper plate. The muffaletta was served warm (WRONG) with no mortadella and some unidentifiable white sauce, also not standard. The burnt ends were chewy, not tender, and so salty I couldn't finish them. As we finished and were waiting for our bill, they brought out our order again, with chips instead of slaw again. Cleared that up, and paid, leaving dissatisfied with the whole experience. Probably won't return.

Tried this place for the first time last night. I had fried chicken, green beans, and a salad with some great ranch dressing. Husband had the beef brisket, potato salad and fries. Everything was really good. Brisket was smoky and tender. Fried chicken was a tad salty but still delicious. Crispy outside and juicy and tender on the inside. We will be back to try more.

It was delicious. I lived in Louisiana for several years and this food is a true taste of Southern cooking. I ordered the cajun pork chop and it was super tender.

Never ate there, but would just like to make a comment: Wish there was a way to see the menu. And, the photos, it would be nice to what the food was on them. Will try to get there & try it, especially the crawfish boil.
