Its all about the "cheese sticks" here.. They are not like any cheese sticks you've ever had. These look like fried catfish.. Not the perfectly shaped, obviously frozen ones everyone else sells. These are hand cut hunks of mozzarella cheese, hand dipped in breading.. Huge and so delicious... Their onion rings are also awesome hand dipped as well..

My experience was awesome!! A co-worker and myself found this gem by happen chance for lunch. The food is fresh and ALL homemade....no bag soups here. I also made it a point to come back on Valentine's Day for "the best prime rib around" and I must say; it truly is!!!! I am very particular about my food and almost a food snob but the prime rib with green beans was truly delicious. The cut was I believe a 10-12oz and juicy, no salt or pepper needed; you could taste the seasonings from the marinade/ braising. I LOVE Lawry's and other well-known establishments and frequent them quite often however; believe me this prime rib IS better than those establishments. Only down fall is there is no dessert. I say that's a downfall because to me a real meal consists of: appetizer or salad entrée dessert The owner is very nice, personable, and welcoming. I would truly come back!

I visited my sister-in-law in Steger and ordered pizza delivery from Bambino's. This is the best thin crust pizza (equal to Vito and Nick;s) that I have tried. They are generous on their toppings. High quality sausage. If you are anywhere near Steger, Bambino;s is a must try. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

While his pizza is fantastic, the buffet is not.... Canned vegetables. .. Greasy Salisbury steak & oven potatoes that look like they were from last week.... I did a sandwich instead.
