Such a terrible eggsperience!!! The wait was long, but that I can deal with. It was brunch time on a Saturday. My sister ordered a hot chocolate. What we got was a watered down mess. Everything was spilling out of it. My mom ordered an egg white omelet but got something completely different. When she got the correct meal all the fillings (avocado and jalapeño) were just on the outer edges. Nothing in the middle. I got the avocado chicken sandwich which was actually good. I got a side a fruit and what I got were small pieces of honeydew, cantoulope, and 2 grapes. I asked if I could have more and it came back with a little piece of watermelon. When I say little pieces, they were literally bite size. I should've taken a pic. I understand it was busy and I'm sure the waitress was overwhelmed, but it was bad enough to turn us away completely. We will never go back. Even after saying something to the manager we just got an oh I'm sorry. She could've at least comped my mom's breakfast or offered a gift card or something.

I am not a breakfast person, but I absolutely love their corned beef hash. You can find me here almost every Sunday morning eating an Irish Bennie. It is absolutely the best eggs benedict I've ever had. Melted pepper jack cheese on the hashbrowns topped with hot sauce is awesome too. Their cream of chicken and wild rice is delicious. My boyfriend also enjoys the breakfast panini quite a bit. When we have a sweet tooth, the caramelized apple pecan french toast does the trick. I've also tried the strawberries and cream belgium waffle, which was good, but definitely not worth the price. It costs about $8 or $9, and you only get one waffle with some cut up strawberries and drizzle of cream. The crepes are also a bit doughier than I like, as I prefer thinner and more crispy crepes. This is definitely not the most affordable place for breakfast, but I keep coming back for the Irish Bennie. I think the price point is okay, the quality and quantity is great, and the servers are always friendly. I forgot to mention that they have an awesome green tea, called enchanted green? I'm not a huge coffee drinker and it works as a great substitute. Plus it smells amazing!

I was in chicago for the weekend and had breakfast here. The omelette was wonderful and I got a whole pitcher of coffee when I ordered coffee as my drink. I even got a to-go cup for the leftover coffee. Definitely a good breakfast place.

I've been here twice now, and both times were top notch! This morning, I had an egg scrambler that was outstanding. I chose to pick my own ingredients, and everything was so fresh. Our waitress was outstanding. She was very friendly, but didn't show up too often to ask how things were. I asked about tea, and she brought out a tray with all their loose teas in tins, asked what type I liked and then helped me pick it out. Very good, personal service. And both times we've been there probably near the end of the early morning rush hour, yet everything is clean and inviting. We'll definitely be back

Terrible food, terrible service. When we asked the waiter what he recommended he said everything on the menu with strawberries on it. We then waited a half hour just for someone to take our order. The barista saw that we were waiting and came and took our order. We ordered the chorizo omelet with no chorizo and no tomatoes. And added the spinach and mushrooms. However we got charged $1.30 for more mushrooms. So we paid more for an omelet with no meat but more veggies? When we asked the cashier, she said we only substitute meat for meat? And veggies for veggies. Not mad about the charge but more mad about the lack of communication. We would have made different decisions of we knew about the price.

The food was good but I was not impressed by the rest of the experience. We had a very large party, and had called the day before to make a reservation. They told us they took reservations, so we gave them our name and they told us to come at noon. We showed up at noon, and they told us they couldn't seat us without everyone, and then it would be another half an hour. We were seated an hour late. If you're not going to honor reservations, don't take them. Especially for a party as large as ours. It's as simple as that.

I have recently moved to the Chicago area and have been bouncing from breakfast place to breakfast place none as fulfilling as Eggsperience! The menu was just incredible on it's own. I was especially pleasantly suprised to see a fresh squeezed juice menu which included wheatgrass and acai berry shots! Wow! Plenty of seating area choices. I ordered the strawberry orange fresh juice which was impeccable! For my main dish I chose the corn beef hash skillet. I really wanted to try a crepe as well but didn't want the whole meal, my waitress said I could replace the side of pancakes or toast my meal was supposed to come with for 1 crepe. It was $1.99 extra but totally worth it! The crepe was much larger than I expected! The skillet was so delicious and hearty, the corn beef is home made right here which was a plus. The crepe was perfection, I almost licked the plate! I choose the banana Nutella. Over all my experience here was better than all others. Maria was my waitress and I have never had such great customer experience unlike what she gave. So if you're looking for an incredible place to get breakfast, brunch or lunch, look no further!

Columbus Day morning....party of 6....absolutely no waiting. Fast and courteous service and my 6 year old niece had crayons, paper and a covered drink cup to help prevent as disasters that could happen at a place without. Great server and great food! I really enjoy myself every time I chose Eggsperience. The food is always good, but the prices are a little higher than I like to pay for breakfast. But if you're near Uptown Park Ridge, come give it try. I trust you will take pleasure in dining at this restaurant.

After a grueling 1-1/2 hour work-out at the gym, I needed a hearty breakfast today. I had my hearty breakfast, which was a Denver omelette. It was fluffy and light and filled with a lot of great veggies. I am not sure what is happening with the service here, but it was really whacked this morning. It took a while for them to refill my water. It took them a while to clear the table after I finished. It took them a while to get my check. WTF! My omelette receives 4-1/2 stars, but service sucked, so I'll go with two stars. For the record, I usually receive 4-star service here, but today it was not.

We went with 8 other people on a Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. Yeah, probably not the most opportune breakfast time and day for a mini family reunion. The staff at Eggsperience weren't fazed at all. Our server, Natalie was great and took good care of us. I like Eggsperience because they have a number of healthier options including Heart Healthy pancakes, multi-grain toast, Low Carb Bennie, Veggie Panini, and the Protein Omelet. I went with the Protein Omelet which consists of an egg white omelet, diced chicken breast. broccoli and Swiss cheese. I know it doesn't sound particularly exciting but it was one of the fluffiest and delicious omelets I have had in a long time. I started with a wheat grass shot which I thought was interesting for a breakfast place. What a way to start the day! The coffee is delicious and just the right strength and they keep the mini pots coming.

This place is just like the other Eggsperience locations...it's burpalicious!! The Mile High Omelette is as big as my face, and I have a damn big face! The corned beef hash is so tasty, I just want to put some in my pockets so I can always have it with me (a bit creepy, I know). Oh, and please try the Banana Nutella Crepes. It will make you say, "My, My, My," like Johnny Gill. This is one of my favorite Breakfast franchises. I will go out of my to here instead of Denny's or IHop. Man I wish it was breakfast time already!!!

  • Dan W.

The crapes here are unbelievable. When I ordered them, I got three stuffed with strawberrys. They were very filling. The issue is the coffee. It is not bad, but it is definitely not good. When I have breakfast, I need good coffee to go with it.

Came here on a whim when our flight was delayed. Couldn't believe how great the food was! And fresh squeezed juices! Highly recommend coming here.

Very good breakfast food. Lots of choices, and everything that we got was good. Plus, there was no wait to get a table on a Sunday morning. This will be our new breakfast place.

food was phenomenal. but i felt the staff (owners, and or female dictator of seating and reservations was quiet snotty and racist). we were a large party on mothers day, but they did NOTHING to want our business or accommodate my elderly parents. tables were a disgusting mess, took forever to clean, no priority after waiting 1.5 hour in line- i'm not exaggerating one bit. my husband had to leave -and go to wok because we waited so long and he had to be at work. Really sucked. Sad black soles. On the other hand, the food was phenomenal, hot, fresh, absolutely delicious. Male waiter - was amazing, sweet, accommodating, sweetheart. But who would want to support a racist owner of a restaurant? NOT ME. #smh

Not a great experience. I've tried this place 5 times now and the last two times was pretty bad. One of the times I caught the girl that was making my iced coffee drink put her finger in the glass to fish something out. I'm grateful that I was sitting in a booth where I could see it. When I mentioned it to the manager, he was not very friendly. The other time my husband and I waited 15 minutes before a sever came over to take our drink order. It was 1:30 so the place was pretty empty and the funny part if that same manager walked by us several times. Overall this place is expensive and the service is horrible, management on down. There are so many other breakfast places that have better food and good service.

  • Pete V.

My first experience was okperience. Nothing fancy or anything that would make me drive back for breakfast. The food was average. Service was average. But the price was little higher than most breakfast joint.

    (3)
  • Ruth S.

The service is good but the food is not. The ingredients are never fresh, and the food is overall sub-par. I have gotten both breakfast and lunch and feel the same way about any item on the menu. I concept is there, but the taste and quality is not. Would not recommend. So many other good places to eat in Park Ridge.

  • Dave M.

I had a good breakfast here. The veggie omelet was well done but not creative. Toast was OK. Hash browns quite good. The bacon was among the best I've had, and the coffee was quite respectable. Service was friendly and skillful.

Favorite breakfast spot. Hostess is great. Kid friendly. Have to get in early to avoid a long wait especially on weekends. Food has been consistently great. Tad expensive but quality is high.

Been here twice, both times had the Corn Beef Hash Skillet.... Pretty decent, I am not a huge breakfast person.... But the skillet was tasty, coffee was DELISH!!! and the servers and hostess are always very friendly and never keep you waiting if they are busy....

I'm struggling with the prices people are charging for breakfast these days, and eggsperience is not exempt from those feelings. Granted, going out to breakfast with three adults and three kids isn't a cheap experience, however it shouldn't cost as much for breakfast as it does for a dinner. We spent $60+ on breakfast, and all three kids ordered off the kids menu! While I appreciate the nice touch of coffee pots on the table, it would be nice if there was enough cream for the whole pot! And, I don't think that I should be paying nearly $8 for 3 cups of coffee when the server isn't pouring the coffee for me, and I'm doing it myself! If you pour the coffee for me, I might be willing to pay $2.50 for a coffee... but not when I'm pouring it myself and there isn't even enough cream for all the diners to have a second cup. Honestly, not the place to go if you're on a budget and dining with as many kids as adults. There are places with just as good of food for a much more afordable price, not far from here. We won't be back.

We were there today with a party of 11. Service was excellent, food was very good and atmosphere was fine. I would recommend a visit if you're in the Park Ridge area.

Excellent breakfast. They have a large seating area so wait times are short. They give you a pot of coffee on the table.

HOME MADE CORNED BEEF HASH Just thought I'd start out with why this place is getting 5 stars. They had fresh hash browns too that were very crispy and can be tailored to anyones taste. Even the bread they use for toast is delicious and superior. Clean, inviting, friendly staff. Parking should get them a minus 1, but what can you do? Its better than the city.

This local area chain restaurant appears to be blowing up. No matter what area I find myself in the Chicagoland area, there seems to be an Eggsperience nearby. Let's see: Bannockburn... River North... Glenview....and now in Park Ridge. I'm sure there's more, I just haven't driven by them just yet. It's awesome that these guys have figured out that consistency is the key. Not only are the food offerings always tasty, they taste EXACTLY THE SAME at all the locations. Dang, even the tables & chairs are the same! My usual is the Tommy Boy skillet, side of pancakes extra crispy & a carafe of coffee. Perfect every time.

I don't know why there aren't more 5 star reviews on this page. We went this morning before we had to meet a friend in Niles and were delighted! Walked in, got seated right away, server was on top of her game. We ordered our food, my husband went to the restroom and literally as he sat down, our food was at our table. Fastest. Service. Ever! You'd think quality might suffer with speed however, our food was delicious! My husband got the cheese omelette with sausage, side of hashbrowns and English muffins. I had the corned beef hash skillet. We each had coffee and I love that they leave you the carafe of coffee and a pitcher of water so you don't have to wait for the server to notice you need a refill. We were in and out in 25 min which was perfect timing for us. I wish we lived closer because we'd probably frequent more often. When we're out that direction, we will definitely be stopping by again.

What a cute little "sunny" restaurant in one of my favorite little shopping areas in Park Ridge! I totally picked this based on my fellow Yelper reviews as well as the pictures and menu. I took my lifelong g-friend out for a belated Xmas / Bday gift for breakfast and then a spa day. We picked Eggsperience since it was down the street from the spa, as well offered some healthy options. The service was fantastic! We were seated right away, despite it being pretty crowded. Pretty fantastic for 9:45am on a Saturday! We were also served promptly after ordering. I will give some constructive criticism that I wasn't that fond of my egg-white omelet. Maybe I'm just not used to ordering egg-whites only. It was really, really fluffy -almost like eating air -and seemed to have a lot of butter oozing out of it (doesn't that defeat the purpose of egg-whites?) However, my friend and I split the berry oatmeal and that was really, really good. Therefore, lesson learned and I will order a "regular" omelet next time. My friend ordered the Eggs Benny and really liked it. Cute place -this will be a "go to" spot with my boyfriend to fuel up before our early morning Trader Joe's shopping trips (located conveniently in the same plaza / same parking lot!)

I went here for lunch and ordered the Eleni's Egg White Delight with regular cheese though since I'm not a huge fan of the low fat mozzarella. Now that I think about it I probably could have ordered a custom omelette with the ingredients I wanted, but this one had everything except the onion. Anyway, the food was just ok as was the atmosphere. I'm not sure my omelette was really worth the $10, but it was a decent portion. Enough so that I took half of it home with me. We'll see if I'm in the mood to reheat it later for dinner though. We were pretty low maintenance so I wasn't bothered that the server only came by once. Thankfully she left a large pitcher of water so we served ourselves. Maybe it was just my choice of food this time, but I much prefer the city location over this one.

what can I say... I am truly sorry that I have to say this but this place sucks. my boyfriend and I go out to a lot of places for breakfast. This was one of the worst if not the worst breakfast restaurants ever. our waiter wasn't very pleasant. I ordered a make your own skillet, (tomatoes green pepper broccoli and bacon) The hash browns tasted and felt like they were 3 days old & there wasn't very much bacon in it. Came with a side of quarter-size pancakes, they were hard and very overcooked. I wasn't happy with the food at all however because I paid for it and I didn't eat much I took it home. just hoping maybe a day in the fridge will be much better the next day. boy was I wrong. and I think my stomach is still angry with me. I will not be returning nor will I be recommending this place. :( this was not very good Eggperience...boo :(

My son and I went here after his dental appt. It was mid-week around 9:30am. It wasn't busy, but there were quite a few customers. We were greeted and seated right away by a very nice hostess. Our server came over and asked for our drink orders. After she brought them, we asked for her recommendations bc this was our first time here. She told us her favorites and she was quite passionate about the items...which was nice to hear. We asked for a few minutes to decide. This is when we kind of "lost" her. We waited for what seemed like forever...maybe 8 min or so. Our waitress was busy "texting." We finally got her attention and gave her the order. It seemed like it took a while to come from the kitchen, but that could be bc we were waiting so long to give our order. I ended up with the Med. omelett, and my son had the Wild Blueberry Pancakes. It was a TON of food. I ate maybe 1/4 of mine and my son ate most of his...lol. Food was good, but nothing special and it was expensive. $30.00 plus tip and there were no mimosa's involved. Probably will not go back, but glad we tried it.

I tried out Eggsperience on Saturday morning with my best friend because she lives nearby. I definitely think it is a little high priced for breakfast but it was pretty good. I will say that the portions were generous though. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were not very flavorful and could've been better. The sandwich was good but nothing to write home about. My friend had an omelet. It was enormous and she liked it. I'm not a coffee person but she is and liked it. All in all this is not my top breakfast pick but I'd go back if I had to.

Long wait to be seated, long wait for coffee, long wait to place order, hair in food, reordered food, food never came, waiter charged us for the food with hair.....horrible eggperience!!

Absolutely loooooooove this place, best breakfast and lunch ever! Love the colors and the pictures on the wall. The staff is usually good specially on the weekends and you can feel its a clean place. I am giving them 4 stars because there is this one item on the menu that I love but its a hit or completely miss at this particular location. Oh yea I forgot to mention it, the item on the menu I am talking about is the Buenos Dias (chilaquiles verdes), absolutely love them but scared of ordering them since i don't want it to be a missed!

good food but just a tad bit expensive for what it is!

  • Nina I.

The food isn't as flavorful as I thought. I had the original Bennie - ordered it by mistake, but the server was less than accommodating. Make sure to request a young server, they're nicer. The decor is definitely cute though, but it does NOT justify $10 for two poached eggs or $5 for a small glass of orange juice... Also, my friend had the cajun chicken sandwich and she said the chicken tasted funky... server did not seem to care. I would however recommend anyone to visit and see it for themselves, but beware: come here at your own risk of wasting money.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while, so I was very excited to check it out. My brother and I decided to go here for breakfast, the place was very bright, clean our table was on the upper level in the center of the restaurant . I am a coffee-holic and I was really looking forward to an awesome cup of coffee. They give you a very strong cup of coffee with a medium size carafe filled with coffee, and a little cup of fresh cream or half & half. I was very disappointed because the coffee is very strong like Starbucks, plus we had to constantly ask for more cream. I was praying that the food would taste better than the coffee. I ordered 2 eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns & pancakes. The food was VERY fresh, delicious. Probably the best bacon I have every had in my life! My brother had some kind of meat lovers omelet, has browns, toast and coffee. He loved the food and plans to go back with his girlfriend. Services was fast, our server was awesome & prices were reasonable. My only complaint is the coffee, was too strong and tasted too much like Starbucks. I went here on a weekday mid morning while the kids were in school. I would love to bring my kids here some weekend, but I can see parking being an issue, so we'll see.

The Park Ridge establishment clearly can not handle a party of more than 4. Had the worst experience Sunday morning. Took 15 minutes for 5 of us to get a table. We did get two pots of coffee, but had to ask for utensils. Waiter's response was, It'll come with your food". Maybe he was being funny, but I didn't feel like stirring my coffee with my finger! Everyone at the table ordered an omelette. I ordered a Chorizo omelette. Everyone got their omelette and side of toast. I got my side of pancakes. My omelette came 5 MINUTES later. REALLY!!!! I guess 40 minutes is the limit on breakfast, since they were clearing the table and "rushing" us out of there. (maybe they had another party of 5 waiting). When paying at the register I was asked how breakfast was. I said horrible. Of course the cashier must have thought I was joking because I got a stunned look. When expressing my frustration with the 15 minute wait, she said Sunday mornings tend to get busy. What restaurant isn't busy on a weekend morning!

The first time I was there, I thought Eggsperience was pretty cute. It was very bright and sunny, and filled with lots of people. The first thing I noticed was my dirty water glass... The person sitting next to us complained about that as well. Not a great first impression as far as cleanliness goes... Luckily, the servers were pretty friendly. I ordered an omelette, which was good, but I spent a lot of my meal wondering just how clean the plate was. I have eaten there once since (not my choice), and thankfully, that was a much better (cleaner) experience....

Gave this place another try - wish I hadn't. I ordered a skillet and the potatoes were terribly undercooked! Yuck. Although the other breakfast place down the street is old and needs a remodeling, their food is way better.

I have visited the eggsperience, and over my two visits have decided that this is a place to skip. First visit... due to construction, all water was virtually cut off to the entire building. No flushing toilets, hand washing nearly impossible with the drops coming out of the sink. Umm, I may be wrong, but that is a serious code violation, and the place should have closed during the time the water was off. Service was ok, although I didn't appreciate it when I asked the server what he recommended and he read the third page to me, word for word, and said he recommend those dishes. Then he admitted he never tried those dishes. Epic fail. Second visit... I was here with my mother and we both ordered the same thing. Our orders were very simple, two eggs over medium with extra crispy hashbrowns. Eggs were raw and the hash was cold, undercooked and greasy. We sent it back and it took 20 minutes to get eggs which were almost sunny side up and hash was just as cold, undercooked, and even greasier. Our server gave us some BS line about how the hash was made from scratch and cooked to order. Front of house comped one of our meals, but we have no plans to return here.

Rude staff, cold runny eggs. $30 for ppl. Yuk. Went on a weekday morning at 10:30. It was empty. They sat us at the table closest to the noisy kitchen. No one approached us. For ten minutes. Flagged down a waitress. Ordered, food came quickly. Eggs over easy were cold and runny. Toast hard and cold. Nutella crepe was okay for kids, but an adult would have been disgusted with the undercooked crepe. Never again.

Disappointing. I love breakfast but everything at this restaurant is so generic. There's nothing special and the food tastes bland. Sorry - I really wanted to like this place because Park Ridge only handful of brunch spots.

    (3)
  • Christopher M.

I would not recommend this place at all. The menu is lovely, but I was very disappointed with the food and the service. I went in for a late brunch with friends. The place was nearly empty, yet somehow my omelette did not come out with the rest of our food. I received my hash browns and fruit only. My friends were nearly done eating when it finally arrived with no apology. They also needed to be reminded of our side orders of bacon and pancakes. My omelette was not at all tasty and I only had a few bites. I was asked if it was okay and said no, but again nothing was done. Spend your money elsewhere.

I think this is a good all around breakfast and lunch spot. We've been several times and while its not anything unusual, its a solid meal. Also - we've gone many Sundays I thought there would be a wait, and they move you in very quickly.

Always a great spot for breakfast. I have visited here many times- during a bad day, after a bad break up, when my girlfriends are just pooped. If you're not getting the idea- this spot is amazing for a comfort food, make-me-feel-good food, and a little pick-me-up. Always generous portions, and with so many options to have your eggs your way everyone will find something here. I have tried their eggs Benedict (yum), crepes (very sweet so beware), and omelette's (SO fluffy I want to hug them). Another part of this spot I love is their tea selection. Whenever you ask for a hot tea, they bring out a sniffing platter with all the tea infusions they offer. After the choice is made they bring the tea out in a tea infuser, not a tea bag. (All tea is loose). Overall- come one come all!

Nice, CLEAN, new-ish breakfast joint close to our home. It's located in the newer shopping section of Park Ridge on Northwest Highway. We've eaten here several times and the food and service have both been consistently very good. Delicious coffee, really delicious. So far, Ronda is our favorite server. The La Portabella is my favorite of all the omelets. They offer five different kinds of Egg Benedicts...I've only tried one...so far, four to go. They accommodate all breakfast eating options, from healthy and figure friendly to I just give a damn...with a meat-lovers skillet called the "Tommy Boy's Skillet." They're only open for breakfast and lunch but they do both very, very well.

Very surprised at how good the food was. I got some strawberry stuffed creeps, they were just silly! My husband got a veggie omelette that was better than most. It was a very busy place and we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but service was very friendly and fast.

Finally tried a regular restaurant instead of one of the area's little diners. It seems one of the issues people have complained about is the price of the meals. Yes, they are a little more than some other restaurants in the area, but look at the location and the place itself. The big pluses were the coffee pot on the table and the little containers or cream, no little plastic containers to deal with. Also we both ordered omelets and were surprised by the way it was prepped. Nice big chucks of potatoes, vegetables, and meat. Also real whole wheat toast, not some lame wheat bread. Our waiter was on top of things, he checked with us several times during the meal to check if we needed anything. The parking lot is located behind the restaurant with some parking in front of the place. My only two complaints are that food was not hot, half way through the meal it was starting to get luke warm. And the wait staff hangs out right in front of the washroom area, you have break through the crowd to get in or out.

My significant other and I love this place and we've never come away disappointed. It's quite a large place and we're always seated within several minutes of arriving. The staff has always been courteous and helpful and the facility itself clean and presentable. Yes, the pricing is slightly higher than other places, but the food thus far as impressed and I keep coming back for more! What more can one ask for to start the day? You've got some very good food, an unlimited supply of coffee, very prompt service, and some nice window seating. Everything I could want or need to get my day moving along You may have a difficult time finding parking on the street or in the lot. You can always park down below in the garage area. Have been going here for close to a year and keep coming back!!

I really don't get why people are complaining about. I have been there twice and both times were great. The service was good and the food was good also. I had the crepes with eggs and they were very good. The potato pancakes were how my grandmother made them...crispy...which is really hard to find. My husband had eggs with corned beef hash and pancakes. Everything was wonderful. The eggs fluffy and plentiful pancakes yummy. I would recommend. We were there with our kids and they were very accommodating. For those who think it is too much for breakfast go back to Denny's. You get what you pay for.

Fast. Hot. Yummy. Don't know what ppl are complaining for... I had my mushroom skillet in five minutes and the eggs were perfect.

Service was attentive and efficient. Coffee and cappuccino were decent. Liked the little 'cafe' bar for juice and espresso drinks. Portions were giant. Outrageous even. But, the food was just not good. I tried to like it. Just couldn't put it in my mouth. Crepes were more like pancakes and not cooked through properly. Eggs were alright. But the mushroom and spinach filling was weird. The fiance had potato pancakes that were super overdone and nearly burnt. So, strike out. If you want quick and much, this is it.

Eggsperience is as vast as it is empty. The latter is expected considering the place just opened. Either way, you should rarely have a problem finding a table. The allure here is the breakfast (doors close at 4 p.m.), but there's a substantial lunch menu for folks who want to accompany a pancake-and-eggs crowd. Contrary to the review below, my food arrived fairly quickly. I ordered the Mile High Omelette. It was huge and very good (that's what she said). The pancakes are hit or miss. On this occasion they were just OK. I like mine fluffier. These tasted almost as if they'd been reheated after sitting out for a while. The food is definitely on the pricier side for breakfast. I know ingredients keep getting more expensive, but two people shouldn't have a near $30 tab for a couple of omelettes and a short stack of pancakes. There are too many other breakfast joints that offer comparable food at better prices.

Overpriced and overrated. The cashier was unwilling to correct an error when a wrong credit card was used. This is not a restaurant I will ever go back to after my last experience. So many other restaurants over superior customer service but this one is definitely not one of them.

I've tried this location over the location in Glenview, and I think this location is better. It's a standard breakfast place, but they cook their bacon well and their eggs were cooked to order properly. The coffee here is great too, not sure why the coffee here is better that the Glenview location. Also, service was alright too even though the waitress did kinda mess up my side order (I ordered fruit and she brought out hash browns, but I didn't mind). My husband ordered the lox benedict and it was kinda weird because they cooked the lox. Who cooks lox!!?!? WWWEEEIIIIRRDD!! Anyway I got no beef with this place so I'd come back. Just don't get the lox benedict.

The first time I went here I was not impressed. The last two recent times I dined there they earned their 5 star review from me. I recently had a breakfast burrito and an omelet and both were top notch in flavor and quality of ingredients. You can also get pancakes instead of toast which is a welcome choice. It's not cheap, but it is not expensive either and I definitely think it is worth it. I would highly recommend the orange juice. It is fresh squeezed and delicious. I will definitely be going back and will definitely be ordering a carafe of orange juice!

I live nearby, so I've frequented Eggs a few times already even though they just opened. I agree that the priced are a little high, but at the same time, 1) you get a good serving, and 2) this is friggin Park Ridge! the water is expensive here. Last week I got huge crepes, coffee, and juice (+tax) for $16. There are two other breakfast places a block away, so the competition is a little high so they aren't too busy yet, but just like any other place, Sunday mornings are packed with families, so I don't think they are doing so bad. As for the food, I think the pancakes are fluffy, the omelets fantastic, and if you have time, try the crepes- they are huge, easily dividable into breakfast and lunch, and yummy. Their juice is good too. The coffee is bottomless and they leave the pitcher for you on the table so you don't have to flag them down to get refills. I thought the speed of food delivery was just fine. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

Great "eggsperience" here. Cheesecake French Toast was one of the best I've had in a long time. Other items we ordered were also very delicious. We're planning on visiting them again today... second time in a week! We're hooked.

I've been here several times and the food is just average. The sausage tasted funny, the Rye toast didn't taste right either. I would rather go to the Original Pancake House down the street. The atmosphere of Eggsperience is nice and they do get your food to your table really quick so there isn't really a wait to get in.

On a scale of one to five and keeping in mind I am rating a breakfast joint, I have to give it 4 stars. I was shopping in the area and decided to stop in for some lunch/late breakfast. The place was extremely clean, well organized and our waitress was extremely friendly. The food was very good and they actually had real maple syrup which is near and dear to my heart. After reading several other reviews I want to get back there and try their home made corned beef hash to see how it compares to my own. I can't really give it five star having been to some great downtown venues such as Lou Mitchell's and the old West Egg.

Had the eggs benedict with the lox instead of canadian bacon and and iced latte. Delicious and food came out pretty quickly! Definitely a fan!

Large portions, but the crepes were disappointing. Went today with husband, we usually go out Sun mornings. I was really looking forward to my order of Crepes with Fresh Strawberries. The order came there were 3 crepes on the plate, they didn't look that great, but I was still hopeful. Cut the fist one in half and there was maybe 1 strawberry per crepe. Plus the crepes were think and rubbery, I was really sad :( Husband got an egg skillet w/pancakes he liked it, there was lots of food, he ate about 1/2. Felt $30.00 for breakfast wad a bit pricey. Probably won't go back.

Eggsperience is a welcome addition to the Park Ridge restaurant scene. It is a well appointed, comfortable, and pleasant space to spend breakfast. This has been my third trip with friends and it did not disappoint. The eggwhite omelette is outstanding and proportioned to take some home for the ladies or to fill and satisfy a hungry man. The pancakes are as good as you would expect and the coffee carafe is full and flavorful and does not have that burnt bottom taste that so many places have. The menu is varied with something for everyone. Plus, the wait staff has been attentive but sensitive enough to leave us alone on a not so busy weekday morning so that we could have an extensive chat. I love it! The price is worth it. It is the best breakfast place around for miles.

Good place. The orange juice is the best. Omlettes and the hash are really good. No problems if you have kids in tow either. A little pricey for simple breakfast but we still stop in here and there. Definitely worth trying.

Having gone to Eggspearience in Park Ridge the last two Saturdays with my husband, I'm thinking of taking my mom and sister there today. Sometihng for everyone on the menu. The breakfast burrito was delicious and taking home half of it for another day was a bonus.

The service was good, but the food is definitely nothing to get excited about. The fruit cup that comes with your meal is all extremely out of season and completely flavorless, with an off texture. In fact, all the produce was pretty sub-par, including what they put in the omelets, and the cheese was bland, too. Fake maple syrup, which is a downer for me. Portions are very generous, but the quality and flavor just isn't there. While I don't expect every restaurant in the 'burbs to have natural/organic options (though it would be nice), I do expect the places that don't to at least serve food that's really flavorful and well-prepared. If you're in the area and looking for good breakfast, LePeep is a lot better--and I've heard good things about Creme of the Crepe, too (though haven't tried it yet). I won't be back.

I was impressed with the vast array of menu choices, the pleasant ambiance. Despite what the other reviewers have said, the felt there were many variations on the otherwise standard eggs-and-pancakes breakfast places, including lots of Mexican inspired choices. The service was excellent, the food was served promptly, and I was thrilled that such an eclectic breakfast locale is available locally. I have already planned my next breakfast with a friend at Eggsperience.

I was considering giving this place one star, but the food isn't bad. The food and service weren't horrible, but there were some little things that added up to pretty negative experience. We were seated right away and our orders were taken promptly. There was no spoon to stir our coffee and we couldn't find our server to flag him down, so we just let it slide. My oatmeal came out without the brown sugar and milk I asked for and it took a bit for her to come back. In the meantime, we had noticed we had no silverware or napkins. She seemed a bit annoyed when we had to ask for these after she came back. No biggie, but then it got weird. My husband's chicken sandwich had a few chocolate chips in it and, after several bites, I came across a glob of meat fat in my oatmeal. This would have been a much bigger deal if I were vegetarian or didn't eat pork, aside from that, it was just gross. We called for a manager and tried to explain our experience and she started making excuses right away and seemed a bit defensive and annoyed. I was expecting an "I'm sorry, let me get you something else (to replace the oatmeal)," but instead we were told abruptly that she'd comp our bill and she stormed off without another word and we didn't see the server or the manager for the rest of our time there. Instead of being rude and thinking comping the bill makes up for poor service and meat-fat in the oatmeal, perhaps it would be better for business if they simply showed some concern for their customers' eggsperiences (sorry, I couldn't help it!!). This was my first and likely my last visit, which is a shame, because my husband enjoyed his sandwich once he extracted the chocolate chips!

My family and I have been to the Eggsperince at the Glen and we love it! The Park Ridge location is great and the food is exactly like the its sister stores - Excellent! My husband usually gets the Tommy Boy's Skillet which is loaded with bacon, ham and sauage while I gets the Mediterranean omlette or Debi's Greek Scrambler. We dine here on Sunday mornings. If you are looking for a great breakfast you must check it out!

Disappointing. "Over medium" eggs were runny and cold. Corned beef hash was OK but didn't taste like corned beef. Pancakes were good. Restaurant itself was cold. Hostess quickly walks to table, drops menus & runs off while you're still approaching table. $28 plus tip for 2 people. Won't be back ...

I shudda known the "Tommy Boy" would be huge!!! This place amazes me. They are crazy buzy on the weekends, but the staff works their buts off to keep everyone happy and full.....and that I was. I have has the Tommy Boy skillet, the omlettes and the chiliquilles...all were top notch. The fresh made juices are also good. You will leave with leftovers.

Service is good, the staff is attentive and polite. Ambience is okay, more or less an explosion of bright child friendly colors. The restaurant overall was clean on our visit, one dirty glass but overall okay. As for the food, nothing really stands, pretty standard breakfast choices and quality. The kids liked the pancakes and french toast, my wife was fairly happy with her omelette and I was fairly disappointed with my eggs. Let me explain, the scrambled eggs tasted undercooked and runny. I'd personally rather have eggs that were a little overlooked. At least I could eat them, when they are undercooked I can't. Kinda like bacon, personally I prefer crispy bacon, rather than chewy. Overall the bacon was well done, a couple just missed the mark but close enough. Overall a pretty standard breakfast, not sure we'll be back. If we are in the neighborhood maybe but otherwise it's a pass for me.

Not even sure how to describe it. I've been coming here for a few years and it was one of our fav spots to go to with large family groups. But after today, don't think I'll be going back. My 10 yr old son ordered an omelet with sausage, cheddar and spinach. Half way thru his omelet he told me he thinks there was a bug in his omelet. He started poking at it after he bit into something crunchy. When i looked it sure enough was a bug. What kind of bug you ask? A baby roach! And this one was intact. Which means my son probably ate one, hence the crunch! I remained calm, did not cause a scene, I asked my son to stop eating and place it in a napkin. I called the waitress over to show it to her and explained it was in his omelet. She call the manager over. When he came to the table i gave him the napkin and showed him and explained to him as well. He seemed stunned, balled up the napkin (obviously not wanting other patrons to see) and his only response to me was that they have the restaurant sprayed weekly, if there were any other issues and that he would comp my son's plate. Really? Not the response i would expected from the manager after my child has now been traumatized and was chugging water on end until we were ready to leave. We paid the remainder of the bill. But we will definitely not be back. And I'm guessing the rest of my family won't be seen there again either. --- i worked within the food and beverage industry for nearly 12 yrs so i understand what happened to an extent. But not happy at all with how the manager handled it.

Non-foodie stuff: Very nice location in Park Ridge. Clean tables. FABULOUS staff. Waitress was nice and efficient as could be. Thumbs up for everything there. Food. Good, solid food. I had the Tommy Boy and it totally delivered on the ingredients, unlike other places that tend to skimp on meat addins. Delivered with good presentation and perfect temperature. Portions are very generous. The food isn't fancy or 'gourmet'. There's not a lot of 'excitement' added to the dishes. But you can get a good, solid meal that tastes good. Added note, their buttermilk pancakes are very tasty. They even hold up to taking home and having the next day. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. This is a great place for a family looking for a good breakfast spot. For fussy people like me who like a bit 'more', it's ok. But don't let that stop you from trying this place. And definitely check out the pancakes.

Floor was dirty and not swept throughout the place. I was seated in booth with a torn seat. No effort made to hide it, as seen in my photo. Picking up used dishes seemed to be a problem... Again, as you can see in my photo. Finding my waiter to order dessert was a major undertaking. No one would take my order unless it was him... Not a good experience, especially with the dirty floors and torn seat in booth. I expected a bit more for something that was 3.5 stars on yelp...

I love this place. So clean, so efficient, so delicious and very professional. It has a great location with a very basic decor. The good thing is that it has big windows that allow natural light. I usually tend to go a bit early on the weekends because it has a big wait after 10. The food Is amazing. The omelets are fluffy, delicious creative and fresh. Their coffee is organic and they have wheat grass. Yuuuum! Their corned beef hash and their lox tho are probably the best things about this place. I have been to this place over a dozen of times and I have yet to have a bad "eggsperience".

  • Melissa M.

Eggsperience has become my go-to breakfast place. Way nicer than IHOP! The food is very good with many options on the menu and it's very spacious so you're not crammed on top of one another. It does get quite busy on the weekends so you should definitely expect a wait (especially larger groups). I've recommended it to many friends who have not been disappointed. There is something here for everyone.

I LOVE a good breakfast place. This place has it all.... pancakes, waffles, crepes... skillets, frittatas, omelettes... Bacon, egg, sausage... smoothies... juices of all flavors... you can indeed have it all. And you can ice cream to the top of it.. YES YOU CAN. And the coffee is 100% Organic (whatever that really means). Tasty and delicious and it did not disappoint. And free underground parking. WIN!

Pathetic place, ordered gluten free waffles they brought pancakes. Waiter was so rude, lile we had to tip him to even smile. Asked hime to remove Chorizo and bring the omelete but no he wanted me to "build a omelette" which was so not even half the size of a omelette. Not going back again to the stupid place.

My pops and I were in a rush to get to the Blackhawks game and Eggsperience was en route. I got the Tommy Boy skillet with my potatoes well done. My dad got the Mediterranean omelette. Both were good. The Mediterranean had too much feta cheese and my Tommy was a little too salty but overall good. Pancakes were average. Service was great! They accommodated our rush to the game, I even noticed our food came out before another table that had ordered before us! I would def return.

I had a great experience with my sister today at this location. Our waitress Natalie was great! She was somewhat prompt, sweet and what you would expect from a waitress. She was busy with other tables but she did her job well. I had a great experience The only bad experience we experienced was when, who seemed to be a manager, started yelling at our waitress in front of the customers and the employees of the facility. He was very rude to her, yelling and belittling her in front of everyone in the restaurant when he could have easily took her somewhere to talk to her in a professional manner. I use to be a manager and it really ticked me off the way it was handled. I wanted to say something but I wasn't sure who he was. Regardless it should have been handled a lot better. But overall a great experience. Would definitely come back.

I've been to other Eggsperience locations, and generally they're good. This one is terrible. Upon arrival I noticed that the atmosphere was frigid and loud. We were made to wait ten minutes on a Saturday morning before a table opened up. Once seated, we were made to wait to order refreshments and the waiter didn't even pour us any water to start. I ordered a cappuccino, veggie soup, and the triple crown waffle. The location advertised whole grain waffles, which is what I came for, but upon order they told me they can't make them. I settled for a regular waffle instead. They forgot to make my veggie soup and had to make it after the waffle arrived, so by the time I finished my soup my waffle had gone cold. The waffle wasn't crisp or firm; it felt like putty and fell apart in my hands. I could make much better waffles of better texture and flavor from a commercial mix at home. The cappuccino was terrible. It wasn't even a cappuccino. It was too large to be a cappucino; the foam wasn't thick and dissipated quickly; it was covered in cinnamon (which I did not want or expect); and it was far too much milk for an espresso, creating a weak, bland drink. It tasted like a watered down Starbucks cinnamon macchiato. I couldn't finish it, so I ordered a regular drip coffee expecting a bolder taste. That coffee was also weak and lacked any body to it. The service wasn't spectacular, the atmosphere didn't permit for a comfortable breakfast, and the food was pretty bad. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I will never come back here.

It was okay. The restaurant in Toronto, Canada seemed much better and the ambiance wasn't so "homely". I didn't get anything special because I wasn't all that hungry but my husband ordered the The Cook's Calling omelet which we both thought would have been really good. He said Walker Brother's omelets were much better. My daughter ordered a vanilla latte which tasted like coffee with vanilla syrup in it. Just average, nothing special.

My conference in Rosemont concluded at noon and I was looking for a good place for a late breakfast. This place wasn't too far of a drive so I took a chance based on Yelp reviews. I ordered a basic bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and whole wheat toast breakfast. PERFECT food, PERFECT service, and EXTREMELY fast! Coffee was quite good, too, and they leave a thermal carafe on the table. After paying the bill, I stopped at the restroom to find it had just been mopped. It was spotless. I will make it a point to stop here whenever I am in the area.

Great crepes! I got the strawberry with cream cheese filling. Oh my! Perfect breakfast dessert! Now the omelette was just as amazing! The most cheese I have ever seen a busy throw in their omelet, well besides when I make them at home. I'm an out of towner and found this place on yelp. Thx yelpers for suggesting it! Another satisfied customer. Oh and fresh squeezed OJ to wash it down.

Went here for breakfast the other morning.... Food was ok... But when we got the bill they had charged 50cents more for each of our breakfasts. When we asked about it at the cash register, they pointed to a small sticker in the middle of the menu that stated all egg dishes have a 50 cent up charge because they are now using organic eggs. Really?... It's not the money, it was only a dollar total..... The attitude stunk!!! Get new menus! We won't be back.

Just tried this place for a business breakfast and I'm so glad I did. The decor is so bright and sunny, I felt like I was in Florida for the day, even though it was only 9 degrees outside! Friendly and quick service, delicious coffee and my hashbrowns were cooked to perfection (crisp but not overly crisp). I tried the Mediterranean omelet and it was excellent...loaded with spinach, tomato, feta and kalamata olives. The marbled rye toast was another high point. Great breakfast and ambiance, I can't wait to return!

This place has one of the larger dining spaces of the numerous brunch places we have seen. It's also clean and comfortable. Food quality was ok, and I'd go with about 3.5 stars overall. We tried a skillet, meat omelette with pancakes, and strawberry crepes. It's October 8 and this is 2013 review number 100. I forgot what the Challenge was about though.

First time I ordered from here the strawberry fest crepes were great, but the last time I ordered them, that wasn't the case. The crepes seemed rush, the filling was very watery and there weren't any strawberries on the inside, just a few on top. So I was pretty disappointed.

Holy giant omelets! These egg creations are quite large and in charge. Other meals on the menu seemed pretty similar too. You definitely get your moneys worth here. Food is pretty good overall. Milkshakes are kind of watery though, which is a bummer. I prefer my thick, sweet shakes. There are lots of smoothies to choose from too. One was a health smoothie that had protein powder mixed in! The whole place looks clean and pleasant. Staff is friendly and the service was good. I'd love to come back try everything on the menu.

I came here on a Friday for a late lunch, around 1:00 or so. The place wasn't crowded, so we had pretty fast and prompt service. The food was OK, but then again, I had a sandwich. Maybe their breakfast food is better (it certainly looked good), but the sandwich I had was lacking. I did have to order off the vegetarian menu (Friday during Lent), and i was disappointed to see that if I didn't order breakfast, there wasn't a whole lot of options for me. It basically came down to a veggie panini, tuna salad sandwich, or one of the salads that are meant to be served with meat. I thought there was too much pesto on the sandwich and the slices of tomato were much too thick. The sweet potato fries were quite good though. Prices seemed a bit high, but i chalked it up to the location. I can see myself going back for a breakfast item on a weekend to give this place another chance. I don't think I'd head back for lunch though.

Semi-upscale Bakers Square. Don't understand the concept of "reservation." Disagreeable people, conveyor-belt "shovel in shovel out" attitude. And the food is decidedly average. This kind of restaurant should not get people's interest or business.

This sure makes you want to experience eggs! All their omelets are HUGE. I ordered the Protein Omelette which is a 3-egg omelette with cheese, broccoli, and chicken. It came with a side of fruit which consisted of two honeydew pieces, two watermelon pieces a piece of pineapple, and four grapes. I only ate probable a fourth of it. The egg tasted OK, it was kind of bland, but I did like the combination of chicken, broccoli, and cheese on an omelette. Everyone else at the table thought their food was good. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located near the back of the restaurant, it was uber clean. It had a nice vase decoration and clean sink and stalls. Sit or squat? Sit!

Have come here a few times, and I must say, the service and quality has progressively been going down. Yesterday I ordered a Tuna sandwich after categorically asking if that came with tomatoes. When they brought it out they said they ran out of tomatoes?!?!?!? What kind of restaurant runs out of tomatoes?!?!?!? And they ran out of pop?!?!?!? WTF?!?!?! The food tastes ok....however I would rather go to a local diner from now on.

Corn beef skillet is my go to. Coffee is great and I love the side of cream and carafe at the table so I can fill my cup up at my convenience. The portions are large and I can give my daughter my pancakes so it saves from ordering her own meal. My only dislike is it can take a long time to get your food.

Went there today with my hubby, MIL, & DD. Our waitress was nice a bit on the forgetful side, but polite & courteous. I had the Tommy Boy Skillet & it was SO good. It alone deserved the 5 stars. Both my hubby & MIL design your own scrambles. They both seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Atmosphere is nice. A bit on the noisy side. Since we were visiting my MIL, we don't usually frequent Park Ridge very often. That being said next time I am in Park Ridge I would come back here. Great breakfast food!

Oh man, a whole buncha misses here. For starters, we walked in and the place was super crowded. No problem, it was Sunday morning, we kind of expected it. We put our name on the list and grabbed a seat. I was 3 days past my due date with my second baby and was STARVING but I waited patiently... until I noticed that people coming in were getting seated before we were. I sent my husband up to the counter to find out what was going on only to discover the woman we gave our name to forgot to put us on the list. So, yeah. That happened. They sat us pretty quickly after that and our server was super nice. But then the food sucked. I'm sure it would have been delicious if it had been served to us while it was hot but my over medium eggs were well done and my cheese in my skillet congealed after clearly sitting on a serving ledge for far too long. I would have sent it back had I the confidence it would be replaced with something more edible but my experience (eggsperience?) was as such that I didn't have any faith in the place any more. My mom claims that the food and service are usually better so I *might* be forced to give it another go. But I would never willingly choose to go back there on my own.
