This place is a gem! Every time I drive in from chicago I make sure to stop in here.... Chicken tortilla soup, the mother load sandwich and the roast beef sandwich are wonderful! Very fresh and delicious!

This place is great and like I said in a previous review, "4 for you Glen Coco." I've been here a little too much, but come on wouldn't you? I've been going around their menu and I'll say their sandwiches are great, their cranberry chicken salad is ermagersh gerd (oh my gosh good), and their coffee is good! I've tried their BLT, Turkey Club, and Mediterranean sandwiches all of which were great. I know I can make my own sandwiches, but something about someone else making them, taste better. Maybe I'm weird, whatever.

Just had them for the first time while at an event where Cup A Joe sack lunches (sandwich, pickle, chips, and a cookie) were served. The sandwich was a turkey club and it was delicious! I could have done with the sprouts but I will definitely return for lunch with family!

Great service! The food is wonderful and the portion sizes are amazing! I strongly recommend then for coffee and the food!

Energetic, youthful staff and management make this place HOP! I ordered the Turkey Club, inclusive of alfalfa sprouts and it was one of the lightest, most delicious sandwiches I've ever enjoyed. You should know that Cup A Joe is busy with both sit-down and carry out orders during the lunch hours. But traffic seemed to move smoothly and I was eating my order within 5 minutes of walking through the door. Cup A Joe is popular because its goooood.

This is really a local place, run by youthful second generation owners after the previous proprietor sold the business to her son and his wife. I always love to be able to support young entrepreneurs, and this place is easy to like. It's unpretentious, just trying to serve high-quality fare starting with their coffee, apparently to a steady clientele. With a name like Cup A Jo, your reputation has to stand on your coffee. I walked up to the counter and ordered a half sandwich and bowl of soup of the day for under $7. I sat down on a high bar seat right next to the coffee carafes with a view to the sandwich-making station, with the local paper placed on the broad counter table. Another good choice for a single customer would be the counter seats along the front showcase window. The sandwich was an amazing veggie sandwich built on top of fresh wheat berry bread with three kinds of cheese melted on top, then piled up with thinly sliced raw carrot, baby greens, red onion and alfalfa sprouts. The fresh veggies and wheat berries were crunchy -- textural joy to munch into. There was a subtly flavored dressing on the vegetables. Really original. The soup was tortilla soup -- it was a bit too sweet and thick for my taste, topped with Frito chips. You can call in your order and they deliver. They're only open 'til 2PM -- found that out when I went back at break time for coffee and baked goods.

Have been here prior. Great coffee and food items. I had a breafast sandwich, brownie, and rice krispie cookie. Some of best I have had. Will surely return next time in the area. Thanks folks. Well done.

This is my go-to spot for coffee. It's nothing fancy. But it doesn't have to be. What's nice about Cup a Jo is that it's reliable. The coffee is always brewed well and hot. They keep it in the thermal carafes that customers can use to fill their own cups, which can run the risk of the coffee getting cold if it sits too long. But they do enough business to where they're changing the carafes all the time, so the coffee stays hot. You won't find a huge number of fancy drinks here. But you get your standards: lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, etc. They also have some specialties, including a very nice pumpkin spice latte for the fall. You also get your choice of four brews of regular coffee - two regular (usually a darker and a lighter), one flavored, and one decaf. The food here is nothing spectacular, but it works. It's standard coffee shop fare - pastries, muffins, bagels - plus some sandwiches and soups. Like the coffee, it's reliably good, though nothing to write home about. This isn't the best coffee ever. But like I said, it doesn't have to be. It's solid and reliable every time, so you always know what you're going to get.

I went for lunch and they had a really good soup and salad! Didn't try anything else but I plan on going back!! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the chicken on the salad had a little too much salt...
