when you approach a Hibachi grill you kind of go in with certain expectations. based on where you have been before and what the place looks like on the outside. this place surprised me in so many ways. Food: this is honestly the first Hitachi where the teriyaki sauce actually tasted good! The selection for the Hibachi is small but wow does it impress. I was the first customer so it took a bit longer to cook, but the chef told me that and even brought it to my table when it was ready! The selection of other food is very good also and not so much like some of those other huge buffet places. just enough to satisfy everyone. I would highly recommend the honey chicken. Service: greeted once I came in the door and picked a seat. The waitress filled my water and kept my dirty plates off the table very efficiently. I normally give 15-20% tip but I felt.more was warranted on this trip. excellent service. price: lunch buffet was $6.75, can't beat that for all you can eat if you are in town I would highly recommend this place!

My daughter is a fan of the Asian buffets, me not so much. IMO, if you have been to one, you have been to them all. This one is not a bad one, reasonably priced and lots of buffet items to choose from. They do a good job of keeping the buffet stocked and the food fresh? If not fresh, at least from looking like it's been sitting out on the hot plate for hours. This one actually has one bar setup that you can make your own plate and they will cook it for you if you wish. The only negative I noticed was that the floors were pretty slick/slippery, so be careful stepping around the buffet bars and the bathroom hall.

Food has always been dry from sitting long, bland for Chinese food and service was very slow. My husband likes that they served bottled beer.

On a recent Friday night my wife and I were on the prowl for some good oriental food. As we were driving across town I noticed the sign for the newly opened Hibachi Grill Buffet. I have to say I'm a sucker for oriental buffets. I love having lots choices and usually graze the offerings a little here a little there. Being new the place was busy but the seating is more than adequate so we were promptly at a table. One thing struck me as odd there was no posting of the cost as we entered, Maybe the sign fell down?? The food was displayed well. The stem tables were well stocked and clean. A real plus was that the food was piping hot. In most buffets the food is lukewarm (if you are lucky). The meal was buffet quality through and through. Nothing to excite. Nothing to really complain about. The service, with one exception, was average too. Here's what soured us on the service. My wife likes unsweetened iced tea and always orders that. When her drink arrived she took one sip and with wrinkled nose proclaimed it sweetened. Calling the waitress over she asked that it be exchanged for the unsweetened tea she had ordered. I swear to the above that the next few minutes could have been from a Saturday Night sketch. First the waitress (in pidgin English) started arguing with my wife about the tea. She flatly denied serving her the wrong tea and (as best that I could understand) said that they did not even have sweet tea on the premises. She waived at the sugar packets told my wife that that was why those were there and spun on her heel and off she went. I tasted the tea and sure enough it was very sweet. In about two minutes the waitress arrives again with a new tea glass in hand. With nary a word she snatched the glass off the table and left the new one. My wife took a sip and Ta-Da unsweetened tea. Couldn't have been funnier! All that aside. The place is OKAY but most likely will not get any more of our business.

I was tired of Italian beef, dogs, and pizza. I needed some good vegetables. Their very wide selection, esp. of seafoods, kept me pleased. It could have been better, though, using less oil and onion.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
