I love the egg-between sandwiches! This place is great for breakfast and you can get it all day long. Also the espresso drinks rule. This place is rad.

The BEST bakery around! They do an amazing job with whatever you ask for, it's affordable, and not to mention delicious. I've ordered multiple birthday cakes there with only about a week's notice and they've been able to accommodate my request. Their butterfluff frosting is great - not cloyingly sweet like some other bakeries frostings... Not to mention, they do a wonderful job decorating their cakes.

We stopped in at Cristaudo's for a recent chamber of commerce afternoon meeting. The staff was very friendly, and the cookies were simply amazing. With a wide variety of options, I can find something new and delicious every time I go in there. I'm definitely making this place one of my go-to stops when it comes to sweets. Great snacks, friendly service, beautiful building. A+ Cristaudo's!

They catered my wedding this moth with a vegan carrot cake (the husband is allergic to eggs) and an assortment of cupcakes and both we're fantastic, granted I was so busy I only got to taste the cake during the face smashing and half of a cupcake later in the night while talking to an old friend but both we're fantastic. When I'm back in town I plan to stop in for a cupcake and hopefully get to eat it that time

I'm in town from Charlotte, NC for some family celebrations and I have to send a BIG thank you to the Cristaudo's Team for being there for me in a pinch!! You answered my after-hours phone call (who does that?!!?), you offered to search the bakery for a dozen cupcakes for me, and after finding them, you iced them for me (with glitter sprinkles, no less) and then you stuck around and waited for me to arrive to pick them up...nearly two hours after your bakery had closed. No one goes above and beyond like that anymore...all the more reason to support local businesses! You guys ROCK! Your kindness and cupcakes made the perfect finish to my Grandmother's 90th birthday party. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I'll be sure to stop by before I leave town to pick up some of the famous PINK COOKIES to take with me on the road!

I just drove from Denver, CO to Asheville, NC and took a little detour through Carbondale. I'm a bakery fiend and, without a doubt, Cristaudo's was the best one I visited. I walked out with a carrot cake bar, an almond croissant, a doughnut, and an Honest Tea drink for under $10. That just isn't fair. Oh and I purchased some zucchini bread, too. Even less fair. A luxurious inside with great decor and silly gift shop gifts... This place is worth a stop. Wish all bakeries were this awesome.

Also, they only accept cards on orders more than two dollars.

Not only are the bakery items delicious, their sandwiches are great too! I also really appreciate Cristaudo's because they make cookies for many different holidays and for different religions. The staff is always nice and I like browsing in the store before I make my cookie selection. The only downfall, if I had to say one negative, is that, I feel, it is slightly expensive. But, you get what you pay for, which are delicious, adorable cookies.

Everything is ALWAYS good! cookies and pastries are awesome. Lots to choose from. The sandwiches are really good too and I love their potato salad. The staff is super friendly and I have never been disappointed here. They also have a very nice little store like area in the front with lots of cool and quirky gifts and stuff. Try a blueberry bar you wont be disappointed!

High quality baked goods at a very good price. Place is no-frills with a lot of the standard items plus a few extras that you may not have seen before in a bakery. I had the cream cheese rolls and an eclair. Both were excellent and very reasonably priced. I don't know if I'll ever have a reason to return to Carbondale. If I do, this place will be one of my first stops!!!!

I stopped in to Cristaudo's a couple of days ago when I was out running errands and was pleasantly surprised. I had my daughter with me and we each got a treat, and I picked up some cookies to get a good idea of the offerings there. They had some really beautiful bread for sale, and I'll try that next visit. I had the Irish Cream muffin, and the baker told me it had real whiskey in it, so I was looking forward to a new taste sensation. It was wonderful. The muffin was moist, and there was a hint of mint, some nice crunchy chocolate chips for texture, and the whiskey came through beautifully but not too strong. All the flavors were balanced well, and I was really satisfied with my breakfast. My daughter had a mint cocoa cookie, which was two chocolate cookies with a mint frosting filling sandwiched between them. I had a bite, and the frosting was lovely, though a bit sweet for my taste. The cookies were perhaps a bit dry, but the whole thing was tasty, and the organic peppermint from Town Square Market came through really nicely. The cookies, which were a day old and half price, were surprisingly good. At least as good as the ones I make at home, moist and chewy with nice well balanced flavors. The decor is home-style cafe with a hipster edge. Very attractive and inviting. The Six-Pence gift shop is lovely and has a bunch of fun knick-knacks and really attractive jewelry and vases made by local artists. The rest of the cafe is in progress, and I can't wait to try the breads and lunch items. Will definitely return!
