Must-have, if you're in the area or you simply want to try Arabic sweets. (If you've only had baklava, especially the boxed kind, that's just the tip of the iceberg! So much more! Even Basha doesn't cover it all.) I love their knafe, their nummoora/hareesa, awamat, maamoul, and these little moist coconut balls of their own invention, I think! I'm not sure what's in them, but they're filling. Too bad because you'll want to have more! They invent their own treats often! They always have baklava, hareesa and knafe, but the rest varies, so call ahead if you want something specific or if you're curious about the day's specials! The service is always polite, friendly, and fast too. The only place that may be even better is ElShafei in Burbank. He makes the sweet, decadent halawet el jibn treats, all cheese and syrup, all goodness! By the way, if you're at Basha, there's Bawadi grill across the street for dining, Pita Bakery for savories, like spinach pies, and next door, Al-Omari (hijab, abaya, long skirts) and Mary's, a women's-only salon.

Albasha sweets has great quality sweets. I admire their customer service and their wide variety of products. They has Knafeh with sugar substitute for diabetics or anyone who is cutting down on calories and it tastes great and no difference from the regular sugar syrup.

I like the sweets here. But I wish the inside there is more tables and more welcoming. It feels like it's catering pick up only. But seriously there sweets are very good . I don't go there a lot because the place feels like pick up orders. They need to make it more welcoming...

We walked in at closing, the owner let us stay and eat as he was cleaning. I had for the first time the "Kanafeh". This place is quality. I was very happy with my sweets. So many other options to try. I will be back.

Yum times a thousand!! If you want amazing Middle Eastern sweets, this is the place to go to. I've been going there for many many years. Al basha seems to impress me every time I go there. I highly recommend their knafe(knafa) or warbat!

So I was born in Egypt and used to Middle Eastern sweets Egyptian style and I've to say their Regular Knafeh (not Naboulsy) seems to taste very Egyptian to me. Also their sweets are always fresh and they are always pleasant when meeting customers. I drive all the way from Northwest Chicago to them because of how good their sweets are.
