Had a luncheon there after my husband's funeral service for 40 people. Service was wonderful. The waitresses were nice, fast, helpful, and informative. Everything at the buffet was excellent, especially the chicken. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. I really think some people are just too critical.

Excellant breakfast. Ordered 3 egg breakfast. Husband cleaned his plate. Will definitely stop by again

On the way to my favorite fishing spot, I passed this place countless times, always making not to stop in for a meal. The unassuming old building with its worn out wooden sign stating "Restaurant" out front, called to my childhood, which was filled with road trips and road-food meals at places that looked just like this. The interior was as old as the exterior, but clean and well-kept. There is the main dining room, and a semi-private second dining room in the back. Our server was also the acting hostess. Not only was she a great server, she had the most amazing eye makeup on that I have ever seen! The menu was filled with you typical diner fare, including a long list of daily specials. I went with the roast pork with dressing special, and added a reasonably priced trip to the salad bar. The salad bar was not extensive, and not all that good. The iceberg lettuce was brown and not drained very well, the topping choices very basic, and the house made croutons were pretty well burnt. The main course was fair. The pork was tender, the gravy thick and tasty, but the dressing was awful. I am not sure what went wrong here, but it was chunky, blackened in spots, and had an overall sort of spoiled taste to it. Since the prices here are good, and I find myself in the area often, I will probably end up back here in the summer. Since the menu is huge, I can always try something different!

1st - The place smelled like a nursing home. 2nd - Service was horrible! We went in for breakfast and were directed to a booth by a waitress and ended up sitting there for 10 minutes without any service, while other booths/tables around us were seated and served. We were completely ignored. Needless to say, we walked out and went down the street to "The Whistle Stop", where the waitresses were super friendly and attentive (and the food was excellent!)! If you're thinking about eating here - don't. Drive a few extra miles, down the road, to The Whistle Stop - You'll be happy you did!

I ordered the Gyro and they gave me tarter sauce for it. It was not a Gyro cooked on a spit but lunch meat Gyro. The pita was stale and the waitress forgot my fries. I had to ask several times for more napkins because the Gyro sauce was so runny. Our waitress seemed harried and had too many tables. The place does smell like a nursing home. Even the napkins smelled. The salad bar is a joke and the prices are too high for what you get. I will not be going back. I'll head to the Whistle Stop down the road instead.

I ordered a roast beef manhattan sandwich, and the potatoes were gross. I'm a carb addict, and these things stunk! The gravy was burnt too. The tomato basil soup was good, but you can't go to a sit down restaurant just for the appetizer soup. Nope. The "homemade" salad dressing is not homemade. I saw a lady pour a jar of garlic dressing into the container. I tried some, and it wasn't good. The color scheme is crazy too! I saw a man wrestle with his prime rib. It didn't look appetizing. Maybe their burgers are good. I overheard the manager and maitre-d discussign their "we're out of veal cutlets" problem. I said "just go to the berkots and get some!" they looked at me like i was crazy.

Decent, even good, for a restaurant wasteland. It is way better than when the other owner had. They do have a bad habit on not cleaning the plates thoroughly.

New owners- GREAT place to have a meal. The burgers are fantastic and the breakfast's are wonderful. Kids get a free sundae, cone or shake and even though I don't have small kids anymore i have to admit thats a great deal! Waitresses are friendly and one of the owner's is always there. Clean restrooms, good food and friendly people. One of my favorite places close to home.

Terrible place. Not sure how they stay open, the few times I've went there the service was horrible, the food was cold, waiting a half hour for a burger when you're the only one there is a difficult thing to fathom.

We drive by about 6:45 in the morning and the parking lot was packed! So after we finished working we stopped in for lunch. You have your choice of breakfast or lunch. I went with the cheeseburger. The burgers are served with a cup of soup to start out. My burger came out steamin! Good crispy fries and fresh burger fixins.

This place is a dump. It was dirty and the food was inedible. The only redeeming thing was the saganaki which was cooked perfectly but what you can expect at any other family style restaurant.
