My family and I had a great breakfast experience! Our breakfast before heading to Six Flags Great America had to be filling and tasty since we were trying to minimize paying for overpriced food at the park. We were quickly seated and served by a very courteous server. My wife and I both opted to order the omelette, and according to prior yelp reviews of this place, I was expecting it to be huge (my wife had no idea). Well, it WAS huge for a 3 egg colorado omelette, well stuffed with ham, green peppers and onions. I should've split this into 2 meals , leaving one to eat later, but it was really good! What really impressed me with this place is they offered gluten-free options for pancakes and organic eggs to substitute for regular eggs. For our lifestyle, this was worth paying extra for. The price was no different than other breakfast places in the area (Juicy O, Eggsperience, Pomegranate Cafe, etc..), but knowing what ingredients were used to make your meal is important for those who value their nutrition while dining out. My wish... restaurants start investing in serving real maple syrup. I'm sure many other will pay extra to enjoy their pancakes with the REAL stuff!

One of my favorite breakfast places in Aurora! The servers are all so nice and the food is delicious! I always order the skillet with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes. So delicious! And the cinnamon raisin toast? Amazing! I don't have a bad word to say about Blueberry Hill. It's just a wonderful place to take family for a delicious breakfast.

This the my second time giving this place a try and I cannot even begin to express how disappointed I am. My sausage patties taste so nasty, like they have been frozen for 9 months. I also got a (full order) biscuits and gravy which consisted of two undercooked doughy biscuits. They gravy has an off taste too, might be because they used the same freezer burned sausage. Anyways never again.

I don't get it! All these four star reviews mystify me. I have been meaning to check this place out for over a year, and the late day breakfast bug got me in there today. What a disappointment! My dining companion ordered the Benedict Caprese, and I ordered the English Breakfast. I am giving it two stars because my eggs were properly fried over easy, the only thing on the English Breakfast I liked! It came with "cottage fries," which were hard fried potatoes that seemed stale and greasy. The sausage links were straight out of a microwave...soft and not much flavor. The bacon was forgettable. A cold English muffin came without any butter so I had to ask. My side order of a pecan sticky bun, which doesn't have pecans arrived chopped into about 5 pieces and had been toasted. It was dry so I sent it back, after she offered to bring me a whole bun fresh out of the microwave! My dining companion didn't recognize any "Caprese" personality when her dish arrived swathed in hollandaise and the top was dusted with dried basil! She said it was just okay! I think I've enjoyed The Pancake House much more!

Yum yum!! Their food is so delicious! My husband and I really enjoyed their country skillet, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. Their veggie omelet was just so so - it was pretty bland. The service was excellent! We'll be back to try other menu items in the future!

I was excited to try Blueberry Hill based on all the great reviews from my fellow Yelpers, but I'm sad to say that I was disappointed. The service was GREAT, but the food was mediocre.....at best. I had blueberry french toast, hashbrowns, eggs, and thick sliced bacon ($2 upcharge). The bacon just wasn't good......maybe bad quality? The thick sliced bacon at Pancake Cafe could "run circles" around what Blueberry Hill dished out. The French toast was.......ok. There was ALOT of the blueberry topping........or "glaze" as our server called it. The blueberry "glaze" seemed to have MUCH more blueberry flavored goop than actual blueberries. The server assured me that fresh blueberries are part of the topping, but I didn't come across any. The hashbrowns and eggs were.......decent. Their hashbrowns are small chunks of potatoes, which I would have enjoyed had I not come across so many undercooked chunks. Their prices are competitive and they have lots of options on their menu. I don't know if I came on a bad day or what, but not sure I would try Blueberry Hill again.

Great place for Saturday/Sunday brunch but I'd recommend going after noon as the morning breakfast hours can be quite busy and you'll be waiting for a little while. Service has always been great! Their bacon waffle is the best out of all other places I've tried! Asking for the bacon crisp his even better! Good portions for the price!

Blueberry Hill is by far my favorite local breakfast spot. I've been here about 5 times now and every time has been enjoyable. I've tried their skillets, pancakes, sandwiches, coffee, fresh juice, you name it - all fabulous. The staff is always super friendly and very on top of it. There's been a couple times we've had to wait for a table because they were so busy, but never more than 10 minutes. You get a lot of food for the price which is nice (awkward, that rhymed). Another perk is that you can get breakfast or lunch at any time of the day! BOOM. This is great for people like me who may or may not crave French fries and iced coffee at 10 am (that's normal, right?). My husband and I have also taken advantage of there carry out option. It's awesome for those busy work days when you wake up and maybe just have a taste for blueberry pancakes... They open up super early so it's easy to place your order online. Typically food is ready in 15 minutes ish and then you can just pop on over to pick it up and start your day off right! I highly recommend checking this place out. I most definitely will be adding to this review as I continue to explore their ginormous menu!

I was invited by my cousin to this restaurant. We were met by her 2 children already in their mid 20Series. I was glad they arrived before us and had a table already there was at least a 20 min wait. I ordered a steak and egg breakfast, my wife ordered a skillet. The coffee was hot and the service was great they had flavored creamers for the coffee on the table. I don't think it took more than 15min to receive our food. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. Eve though they were busy. Everything was good and hot. Definitely will return.

Food was ok, service was terrible. This place is might be fine with a better service, but food along will not bring us back. Waitress took our order and we asked for napkins/wet wipes for my baby. She came back to bring our food out and the next time we saw her she dropped the check off (about 20 mins after we finished our food) and gave us a super fake "Thank you so much, have a great day". Someone else offered a coffee refill about 20 minutes after I finished my coffee and just before we ended up leaving. Napkins/wet wipes never showed up, so we had sticky hands on our way home. The other waitresses seemed to be around enough, but our waitress was hiding out back. I know this because I spent 20 minutes looking for her, first to ask for napkins, then to ask for the check. No manager making rounds, either.

Havnt been here in a while and I'm glad we decided to come back. I always get the classic two eggs. My boyfriend got the stuffed Apple French toast and we split the biscuits and gravy. The food was excellent and our waitress Pam was very friendly. She told us about the strawberry orange fresh squeezed juice and it was so great we orders a second one. Will definitely come back.

Very pleasantly surprised by this place. We went in expecting typical Chicago suburbs greasy spoon breakfast food, and were blown away by the variety of the menu and just how good everything we ordered was. We had to wait a good 20 minutes for a table getting breakfast in the morning, which I always think is a good sign and never something to complain about- If it wasn't good, people wouldn't be waiting, right? What I liked most about this place is they have whatever you call the style of hash browns that are actual slices of potato instead of the uniformly shredded obviously out of a deep freezer kind of hash browns. The side of pancakes actually tasted like they were freshly made instead of sitting under a heat lamp, and the wait staff was super nice and attentive. It's hard to pick a favorite with so many fantastic breakfast places in the Aurora area, but if I had to maintain some kind of short list for the best places, Blueberry Hill Pancake House would definitely be on it.

During football season around the Western 'burbs, I have to taper my Red Apple Pancake House visits due to the Bears being in contention. In 2014, this is not an issue since Marc "The QB Whisperer" Trestman has lost his mind, his team, and as of now, four games on his way to five! I've been to the Kingery location in Willowbrook/Darien/Downers Grove and had a simliar experience! This is my neighborhood go-to from now on if I want breakfast or lunch. I love places that have other options besides buttermilk pancakes, so the whole wheat variety here hit the spot! As my Yelp friend Angus states, the seating is a bit crammed. I went with the "Create your own" omelette with sun dried tomatoes, onions, and peppers. Fluffy just how I like it! I also got two of the whole wheat pancakes which were standard and some fruit. Pretty solid in my book. As much as I would love to try the Oreo or Pumpkin variety of pancakes, I love trying whole wheat blends every where! The staff is awesome. Maybe I will get carry out in the future!

Just a revision on this place. I will start with the fact that I love the place, and I will likely always go here. I have given low reviews in the past not to hurt the reputation but to hopefully improve the place overall. constructive criticism is necessary for a business to grow. Nobody reads or pays attention to 4-5 star reviews, it takes a low review for change to occur. food here is always fantastic, and generally the servers are on the ball. I hope that this review is helpful to others.

I think this place is alright for breakfast but I wouldn't take guests there. It's not the cleanest place... Not the most welcoming. The food is ok. The service is below par. The menu is huge and it takes forever to figure out what your going to get. It's alright for just getting a simple breakfast and going. There is nothing great about it though.

I went to Blueberry Hill and didn't find my thrill.** There was a little bit of a wait.. about 15 minutes, so... not bad. We hadn't been here in years and wanted to try it again. There are great breakfast places all over the western suburbs and Blueberry Hill isn't one of them. It's a good place. They food is good and the service is friendly. It lacks some atmosphere and the seating is a tad uncomfortable. I had the Corned Beef Hash Omelette with cheddar cheese and Lisa had the Avocado, Bacon and Tomato Omelette with cheddar cheese.. We both had potatoes and pancakes (hers were the pumpkin pancakes) Not all of the omelette's come with cheese, it was an extra on both of ours. My omelette was good, but not inspiring.. not as flavorful as I would like, but decent. The potatoes were pretty good and the pancakes were A-OK. Lisa was lukewarm on her omelette, thought the potatoes were good but really enjoyed the Pumpkin pancakes. They served them with a sour cream (?) type sauce that Lisa enjoyed. All in all, it was exactly what we expected and remembered. We are happy to eat there, but it's not special and we have a host of other places that we would place ahead of them to go to. **(Am I showing my age too much here?)

Tried this place for the first time. How did I not know about this place? Wanted to get breakfast but did not want Denny's or IHOP. Read the yelp review on this place and decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. There was a small wait when my son and I got there but wasn't too bad. It's breakfast time on a Saturday morning, of course there would be a wait. People complaining about having to wait for a table should maybe go next door to McDonald's, there's no wait for a table there!! My son and I both ordered the blue plate special and we were very pleased with the food. My cleaned his plate. Good sign!! Staff is very friendly. Will definitely come back for more.

This is your typical breakfast place. I usually go with some kind of groupon or coupon so that helps. Food is always consistent. My favorite the Mexican skillet. When they have their pumpkin pancakes with cream cheese frosting those are a must!

Blueberry is one in a million as far as breakfast places are concerned. Everyone here is very friendly but this place gets beyond PACKED on the weekends. Either give yourself 30-45 minutes extra to wait or go after 1. A small victory for this place: flavored creamers. At your table they always have Vanilla, Irish Creme and Hazelnut. HOLLA! I usually get some sort of skillet. The potatoes they use are diced but are better than your typical diced potatoes. They let you make simple substitutions to your meals, I hate when you can't change stuff up. They also sell fresh baked goods by the front but I've never tried anything although it looks tempting. Also, they run regular groupons here and you can also find coupons in your local fliers.

met my step-daughter for lunch on a Friday afternoon, asked the waitress what she recommends and got the usual, 'It's all good.' repeated the question emphasizing that I wanted to know what she eats when she eats in and was told the last thing she had was the Cap'n Crunch french toast, so that's what I requested. there is something just plain right about toasts generously topped with bananas, strawberries, and Cap'n Crunch that mere words cannot express. coffee was hot, black, and in good supply; nothing special, but i was enjoying my Cap'n Crunch, so there you go.

Well, I wish I could write two reviews. One for breakfst and one for lunch. I would give 5 Stars for breakfast but only 3 stars for lunch. Breakfast is 95% of the time very, very good. They make custom made omelettes that are not on the menue. I LOVE their gluten-free pancakes. Before I was gluten-free I thought the whole wheat ones are the best, but now even my friend, who is not gluten-free, prefers those over the whole wheat ones. I eat there at least 2-3 times per week. And on sunday you better get up early, because it feels like the whole neighborhood wants to eat there. Lunch is a little different story. Since I can´t eat their sandwiches, my options are limited. I like their salads, they are fresh and tasty. I had a turkey burger patty that one day, and that was very gross. It just looked like a bad frozen patty and it was not appetizing at all. I complained and they took it back and gave me something else I liked better, and I did not have to pay for the first meal. So that was good. Amazing for breakfast and so-lala for lunch. I definitely recommend it for breakfast and they will always be my breakfast favorites.

My mom and I decided to try this place out due to all the great reviews, but we were seriously disappointed. First off, there's a sign right when you walk in saying all their juice is fresh squeezed, and when we asked our waitress if that was true they said yes. Based on that we got a carafe of oj, but you could literally taste that it was store bought. You how all oj you buy at the store tastes? It definitely was not fresh squeezed at all. I got a breakfast platter (which I think is eggs, bacon and hash browns) and my mom got an omelet along with pancakes. Everything was way too salty, and my hash browns weren't even cooked all the way. Lastly, the pancakes were a huge disappointment. They fell apart as soon as you touched them and they were way too dry. The service wasn't bad at all, but we were both seriously unsatisfied with our food. Just your standard run of the mill breakfast place. Mediocre, if even, at best. We will not be coming back!!

We ate here recently on a Sunday morning. You can expect a 30 - 45 minute wait on Sunday. The food was good, the service good. Whenever we have eaten here, the experience has been consistent. I would rank this above most of the chains for quality and service, but below some of the smaller diners you can find in the area. In our group, everyones breakfast was well made, and the portions large (maybe a little too large).

Not sure why I came here on one of the coldest days in history, but it was worth the trek. It was also busy on a day when the weather is so bad, so it really is a testament to their great food/service. Get the king of the hill omelette, which is pretty much breakfast's version of a supreme pizza, frittata style. The potatoes were not starchy at all and flavors integrated very well. Throw on some hot sauce and you got yourself a breakfast feast. Great service, great coffee, great food. I'm not sure if I had a really tall waitress, or the seats were really low. Either way, my neck was slightly strained from looking up to her while chatting with her.

Good ol place. Breakfast skillets can come as wraps and vice versa. I got the king of the hill skillet and it was awesome. I ate it all up like a good boy. They also gave me pancakes? Cmon bro, I just ate an omlette skillet the size of a hubcap. I was able to rationalize eating half of the enormous pancakes by saying, "Sugar tells the brain your body is full." I am so fat. I didnt eat lunch though, just a chalky shake from the Xsport. Nice diner, great staff, the strawberry orange juice was indeed fresh. I want to come back and get their biscuits and gravy.

Good food, tastes better than other locations. Pancake is very fluffy and taste like home-made. I like the fact that they have variety of flavored creamer options for your coffee (vanilla, hazelnut, iris cream). Waitress was very busy but overall, great service.

Wow, really busy for a pancake house! That set the bar pretty high to start. The place was overflowing with people waiting to be sat, but the hostess told us it would only be 15-20 minutes to be sat. It definitely took 20 minutes, but I was surprised at how fast it moved. So don't ever worry about it taking too long to be seated! A fairly extensive breakfast menu, nice options for everything...omelets, pancakes, waffles, skillets, crepes, steak n eggs, you name it, they have at least 5 options for it! I ordered the Country Omelet with buttermilk pancakes, and my husband ordered the Irish Skillet with potato pancakes, and our meals came out in about 10 minutes. Holy cow, SO much food, this is literally the largest omelet I've ever had placed in front of me. I could only eat half, and I can put down A LOT. The potatoes that came with the omelet are just ok, I should've upgraded to potatoes o'brien or something. My husbands skillet was topped with 4 EGGS. Is that even necessary?! At least you get your money's worth. HOLY PANCAKES, these things were absolutely delicious. They were just plain pancakes, so I'm not sure what they do to them, but I would seriously go again just to have plain pancakes. They aren't enormous or anything (compared to the omelet), but really really freaking good. The coffee, in my opinion, was gross. It didn't end up being the cheapest breakfast place around...for an omelet, a skillet, a glass of orange juice, and a coffee, it was $26 + tip. I feel like we usually can get breakfast for under $20 with the tip, but whatever, I won't split hairs over it. Plus we both only ate half of our food and took the other half home, so we made two meals from it. I will definitely be back to this place.

Been a while since I have been to Blueberry Hill as we don't eat out a ton for breakfast. WOW -- it was very good and filling. When the wife and my son walk out smiling I am smiling too. It was very busy when we were in there but food came out fast, hot and tasty. Most of all our server was extremely good. Nicely done.

I'm really a stickler for breakfast places. I sort of rotate through the same 3 places depending where I am Saturday or Sunday morning; Harner's in Aurora, Butterfield's in Wheaton or Naperville, or Blueberry Hill in Aurora. Most breakfast places are one trick ponies and pretty much have the same things on the menu and have the same concepts. Blueberry Hill is no different but literally has the most consistently cooked and served meals out of pretty much any restaurant I frequent. Not to mention they know how to turn around those tables! Not only is the wait mostly painless but your food will be there before you know it. There isn't one time I've been there and wasn't confused when my food showed up. There isn't anything on the menu I wouldn't recommend over the another but my personal favorite is the Blueberry Pancake. Fresh blueberries served with a fresh blueberry compote. Holy crap. Nothing is better than a fresh compote with your pancakes instead of syrup. It's less sugar and let's face it, none of us need type 2 diabetes. I also enjoy their skillets or a standard 2 egg breakfast. I'm a spicy food freak and I really do love their version of a Mexican skillet. They must use some real deal chorizo because it kicks my taste buds in the pants (of course the amount of Cholula I put on skillet doesn't help). For you less masochistic folk, the Denver skillet is also wonder, fresh and FILLING. And the cherry on top is grabbing a Dum Dum on your way out!

Great breakfast joint! It's hard to screw up breakfast but they have a wide variety of items on the menu. Wait staff was quick, only down side is there is usually a wait to be seated but is always worth the wait.

Good service, a varied menu, and solid breakfast fare . . . I'd do it again! I only have one complaint: I spilled some of their yummy breakfast on my clean shirt and briefly considered diving to reclaim the spilled food. I very nearly embarrassed myself. Wonderful breakfast spot!

Stopped in yesterday for lunch. Great lunch special menu. Had Egg salad on a pretzel bun with bacon. It was awesome. The server wasn't the most friendly in the world but she was not rude and she was very attentive. Not just another one pf those pancake joints. The food is really good.

Great food! Service is always prompt and friendly! And wow does food fly out of that kitchen fast! This place has it down to a science! One of my favorites! Come early though, they fill up fast. Luckily they turn tables so quick that you rarely have to wait more than 20 mins tops. Try the Philly cheesesteak skillet! Lordy is it divine!!!

Not too shabby! We found this place via coupons from Living Social and have to say we were not disappointed. It gets a bit crowded just as all good breakfast places do on the weekends and the service is that of a crowded breakfast place. Nothing terrible, all the dishes I have had have been quality and the servers to me have been great! Glad I live close enough that I can frequent Blueberry Hill as often as I can.

This is my 3rd time here. I took my niece Reyna after shopping for my ill mother. I just want to eat something. And I noticed it wasn't very full at the time we went. The waitress said to sit anywhere. So we did I ordered the Pecan Waffles ,bacon & decaf coffee. Reyna ordered Blue Berry Pancakes, bacon, Orange Juice. Our food came which was quick, her pancakes where the same size as her plate 12 inch. Reyna eyes were so big like I can't eat this look, kids get. My waffles were great so many pecans & I loved the bacon. The coffee was not good at all tasted like cardboard. I wished they would do something about there coffee. The check was $26.95 & I left a tip. Well I ate all of my food and so did she. Each time someone in my family says "Would you like to go to breakfast I say I know a spot. Each time I visit I do try different flavors of pancakes or waffles. I was just here on 6-15-13 and had the peach pancakes ,bacon, orange juice. This time they didn't add whip cream on the pancakes but the peaches were very fresh. I added little butter & syrup to the pancakes. I will come back.

Lunch portions were generous, the food was very good but I did find a hair in my wife's chicken sandwich. The restaurant comp. her meal and apologized but made excuses, saying it couldn't be anyone there. I will go back again prices are fair and seems to be a popular hang out.

This has to be the best breakfast place in the area! A wide variety of healthy items, bottomless coffee, and friendly servers. They offer a special seasonal menu with tempting concoctions and the price is reasonable. Look out on Sundays for the packed church crowds!

If looking for a breakfast place in Aurora again, I probably would not pick this one. It wasn't entirely bad, but it didn't meet my expectations either. We got there at 9:45 on a Sunday morning. It was crowded, but there were no other groups ahead of us on the waiting list. We were 4 adults and 2 babies, so I understand they had to work with putting tables together. The host seemed to do a poor job of managing the seating as tables became available. we ended up only sitting down 45 minutes later. Several smaller groups were seated before us. The menu is standard for a pancake house. I was disappointed it didn't seem to have child options, or a "light" section. The waitress was very courteous. Took our orders and the food came relatively quickly, for how busy they were. The veggie omelet serving was HUGE. I had half, and took the other half home. Unfortunately, I didn't eat the other half and don't plan on it. It gave me indigestion. The rest of my family did not have any problems, so maybe it was just my omelet.

This is another local pancake house that makes you very happy to be on the road! Local place, plenty of parking, but beware the crowds on Sunday morning. At least plan ahead. The food is great, and the waitstaff are worth the trip by themselves. Forget the tourist places, and eat in the neighborhood.

Blueberry Hill is one of those places you want to try but it's so damn crowded on the weekends, you say forget it and go somewhere else. As is the case every time I want to take my mom here a Saturday or Sunday. Fortunately, I did get my chance to check out the place on a weekday after a night of drunken shenanigans. It's a completely different atmosphere. Weekends are loud, energetic and packed with families. Weekdays are quiet and serene, with only a few customers about the place. I think I like the weekday peacefulness being I'm really a crab-ass in the morning. The food here is pretty good. I wasn't blown away by it. I ordered the stuffed apple French toast, side of bacon and coffee. Once again, good but nothing to write home about. This may be partly my fault because I'm not a "sweets" person in the morn, so ordering a sugary dish probably wasn't the best choice. Though it was good if you like apples, cream cheese and syrup. The portions were big. I have a big appetite and I could hardly finish everything. The coffee is a little bit strong so extra cream might be in order. Service was really attentive (of course there were only three other customers in the place). It's worth checking out, just probably not with that 40 minute wait on the weekend.

I guess I've been ruined by other breakfast places, but I wonder why it was featured on local news a such a fantastic place. That being said tho, I do keep coming back and I leave happy. 5 stars and this is my favorite breakfast restaurant in the world!! No exaggeration either! We have been going to this restaurant for years as a family! And whenever anyone comes from out of town, I don't let them go back home until they have eaten here! And they always wanna come back! This cozy, family style, quick service restaurant is a place to have a friendly chat and truly enjoy your breakfast! Once they forgot to put us on a wait list and they felt so bad that we had a 20 minute wait, they gave us 50 percent off! I always add hazelnut creamer to my coffee and share an omelet (they are huge!) The cheese is melted so nicely in the omelet as well as the veges, and same goes with the pancakes! You find the rich fruit inside! YUM!! The same people have been working there for years, meaning, great service and they are happy there! You won't take much out of your wallet, and you will leave happy! Not like Ihop or overly expensive breakfast places! :)

This place is Awesome from the moment you walk in. Your Greeted by Sandra (owner) who makes you feel like your in her home, or John (manager) both take an active roll here. Sitting,cashier and actually walking around and making sure your injoying your meal. Staff is very professional and know the menu inside out. Which is very helpful these days. They need to know everything in each item, just in case. Food Eggs Benedict for breakfast is my favorite, French toast is my second choice, Pan Cakes look good, I just don't eat them. For Lunch it's a No Brainer Monte Cristo HANDS DOWN. Ham off the bone, on Egg Bread, and served with an awesome Raspberry Compote. No grape jelly here. Soups are Awesome to, they have 2 everyday. Cream of Mushroom my favorite, then the Split Pea. One thing I must point out, if you want to change out an item on one of there dishes they are always willing to do so. Thhis is one of the most Professional Staffs I have seen here in Aurora, and I come from NYC, where we can be a real pain when ordering. MOST IMPORTANT NOTE, if you come on the weekend plan on waiting, there can be a line. But so worth it. There is a place to sit. And if you are handicapped (walking or any other Disability) Sandra or John will make sure your wait is short as possible. I can't say enough about this place, so glad I was told about it when I moved here. If there's a Chicago Sport Team playing there's a good chance the TV which is located in the back near the kitchen will be on.

You would never be able to tell by the outside of this restaurant that it would have delicious food. Located in a strip mall, this place looks like a kind of old/hole in the wall breakfast joint. Don't judge a book by it's cover. This place truly has some great breakfast. The staff is friendly, and the food comes extremely quick! Also, the prices are great! My husband had the french toast and hash browns which were delicious, and I had the biscuits and gravy (perfection). If you are looking for some great homemade quick breakfast, Blueberry Hill Pancake House is a great option!

I've been to Blueberry Hill a couple times now, and it's fine. I feel like I'm just writing the same review over and over for every breakfast place - it's hard to screw it up and hard to differentiate when you're all serving the same old thing. Last time I went, I had a sort of corned beef skillet thingy, with the potatoes and eggs and all that fun stuff mixed in. Not the best corned beef I have ever had, but not terrible either. A good handful of onion, which is not what I'm really looking for, but if I'm not used to it by now, I never will be. It wasn't extreme, so it was fine. Service was good, price was reasonable...I find myself hard pressed to really tell these places apart. So I will say...I would go back here. But I am not raving about how great it is either.

I've been here quite a few times now and today was no different. The people are always polite. The service is not perfect but it is definitely pleasant. I would not recommend the clam chowder for any true clam chowder fan. I was a bit thrown off by it when my order came. My lady and I though it was a mistake, but it was clam. It was more like a veggie style soup with clams in it and not the creamy chowder we were expecting. The other soups and sandwiches have always been good and breakfast is always great. So for all the times we have been here, the clam chowder is the only complaint, I'd def recommend going to Blueberry Hill Pancake House!!

When I lived in the area, I went here often. Great place to sit and read, relax or whatever. The staff is super friendly. The coffee is yummy and the food is delicious. Large amount of seating so there really isn't a long wait even on busy days.

This is a nice breakfast place to have around - good, cheap, homey, and friendly. Dining area was packed and vibrant for Sunday early afternoon brunch time, but service was still pretty quick after a short wait. We had their pecan waffle and their King of the Hill omelette, neither of which we finished, as you get a lot for the $. The omelette was filling, and had more potatoes than egg it seemed, but that's ok. The place had the feel of a good, family run business rather than a franchise, albeit a small one (5 in Chicagoland). I'm sure we'll be back.

I ate here for first time last Saturday. I loved it! I ordered the Bacci Chicken wrap! It was huge, big juicy pieces of chicken and honey mustard and cheese, so tasty. I also had the cream of potato soup, very tasty. The service was great, I asked the server for containers for half of my wrap and the rest of my soup, he actually brought me a new bowl of soup to go! A friend told us about this place so we thought we'd give it a try. The place was packed on a Sunday morning which is a good sign. I ordered the blueberry stuffed french toast with cream cheese dipping sauce. Hubby got the chicken friend steak with biscuits and gravy. Honestly, I was worried mine would be too sweet but it wasn't. The blueberries were au natural and the bread was really dense and rich. The bacon was good but not great and hubby liked his steak. The biscuits and gravy were made with sausage and very tasty. The service was fantastic and friendly even though they were swamped. I would give them five stars but the place could be cleaner. That being said we'll be back.

oh.my .YUM. We went yesterday based on reviews, and were not disappointed! We may have found a new fav breakfast place! Driven past here dozens of times, but never gave it a second look. Outside looks like your standard run-down diner. Inside is nice and clean, with an updated farmhouse atmosphere. At 1pm on a Sunday afternoon, the tables were mostly full, but we were seated right away. Our waitress was Isabelle, who was very friendly and helpful when I explained we were first-timers, and that we were a little overwhelmed by the menu choices. She even brought out extra plates when our food did arrive (super fast!) so that my guy and I could share each other's meals. I ordered the apple stuffed french toast - 3 thick slices of french toast, folded over with cream cheese inside, apple pie sauce on top, with large fresh crisp apple slices and pecans. WOW. My fiance ordered the fiesta skillet with american cheese, sunnyside up eggs, and pancakes. Again WOW. It was large, it was hot, the chorizo had just the right kick to it (not just ground beef with some spices thrown on). And for the both of us, the total was less than $20. I think I'd like to go back and have that same breakfast for dinner tonight.

The place was very crowded and we were seated in an awkward corner table. The food was great, as were the drinks we had. I had some sort of blueberry strawberry lemonade. It was very loud inside and it was clear there were some regulars that frequented that got special attention from waitresses. Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant. Stopped in for breakfast solely on the high recommendations of you Yelpers (yes, you). Whoever thought up the idea of crowdsourced reviews oughta be proud of what Yelp has accomplished. Discovering new places is an addictive hobby. I literally couldn't wait to skip merrily through the doors, and was looking forward to trying it almost as much as I'm looking forward to the next Valve video game. But Blueberry Hill was...average. I'd love to put a glowing review here, but, the food was...forgettable. The waitress, while overwhelmed with a full dining room, stopped by our table about every five minutes to check on us (thank you!) and even slipped a slice of fresh cantaloupe beside our meals. She alone salvaged my review and opinion.

My experience at Blueberry Hill Pancake House consisted of average food and disappointing service. We went on Saturday morning in December for my birthday. Food: The potato pancakes were just OK. They taste better elsewhere and I do not recommend them here. Our butter and half-and-half creamers were sitting room temp, probably left over from the customers before us. Service: Our waitress was polite enough, not warm nor friendly. We had no coffee refills or check-ups. At the end, we waited a really long time for her to bring us a take-home box. When she finally brought the box she said, "Sorry so long, I'm lost in my own world" and walked off. Atmosphere & Parking: Casual, family atmosphere and plentiful parking. Summary: I figure our waitress must have been having a rough day or going through some personal issues. (No excuse for poor service, but we all have off days.) I am willing to give it another try.

Ridiculously good service and great breakfast food. Get there early on the weekend because the after church breakfast crowd piles in making quick seating a challenge. The only thing that would make this place explode with awesomeness is if they changed the decor and made it a little bigger, but than again, who looks at decor when scarfing down awesome pancakes?

This is the place to go to after you wake up from a night of hard partying because if you party like I do, then, you wake up hungry like a wolf. ;) Blueberry Hill has awesome pancakes, excellent eggs benedict, and ginormous omelettes! Seriously, the omelettes look like they're made with a dozen eggs!!! I highly recommend the eggs benedict, country style with biscuits and gravy. I also recommend the chocolate chip pancakes--these have A TON of chocolate chips for optimum chocolatiness. If you come here on a Sunday morning, be prepared to wait a while, I mean like at least 45min to get seated. Apparently, this is THE happenin place where all the cool families go for some serious breakfast action. But don't let the wait discourage you from coming here, just be patient, the deliciousness is well worth the wait. Holla!!!â„¢

First off based on the reviews I decided to grub hub our order, as I didn't want to wait inside.....food wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either.....most of it was very dry.....the thing that got me the most was paying $2.25 for "Hot Chocolate" that was really Swiss Miss with water....not even Swiss Miss with milk! I've been to this place a few times now and the experience has been great every single time. The food tastes great. In addition to the amazing food, the customer service is like no other. The staff warm and friendly. There was also one time where my ordered my food to-go and one of my sides was missing. I called immediately and the owner not only refunded me the difference without question, he also discounted my order without me even asking. Overall, this place is great!

My friends and I used to come here pretty often when we were in high school down the street. I have not been in that area for quite a few years now, but I still remember half-days, finals weeks, and summer break days spent there. The food was alright, like every other good diner. I remember my friend asked for honey mustard and they didn't carry it, and she made them make her some out of honey and mustard--the waitress wasn't too happy about it. But otherwise, I don't remember anything negative about the place.

Came here for breakfast and it was very crowded. Didn't wait long but one thing I do regret is not tasting the banana bread loaf looking thing by the cashier. I think it was a pumpkin one or and they had different kinds. A must purchase when I go back. I had the California style benedict minus the meat. Gotta keep it Cali!! Avocados were fresh. I thought I was going to get hash browns, but that didn't happen. Instead, I guess because it's "California" I got fruit. I wasn't mad but I wanted hash browns. So I ate my benedict, fruit and boyfriend's hash browns and downed an orange juice. Quite content when I left. Other than the fact that I almost slipped on the ice in the parking lot. Not fun.

I read all the great reviews on here and had to try this place since it's so close to my house. It didn't disappoint! The food was great! I had an omelet and it was cooked well, just how I like it, with great fresh ingredients. I tasted my husband's french toast, which was made with their homemade banana bread, and it was super tasty. The OJ was fresh squeezed, and you could really tell. The other thing this place has going for it over other typical breakfast places, is that the coffee is really, really good too - not that burnt, cold, watery stuff you get at some places. The restaurant was packed and every table was full, but we were sat within just a couple of minutes by a really nice hostess. Our waitress was also fast and very polite. I also like that the tables had tons of creamers, jams, spreads, etc. so anything you might want is there without needing to ask for it. The place was really clean and the bus boys were on top of all the tables needing to be bused. The decor was just, meh, but I mean it's just a breakfast place, you know? Cute, but nothing fancy. Overall, this is my new fav breakfast place for a nice, close weekend breakfast. I'll be going back!

Breakfast: french toast with fresh raspberries - hmmmm, too much white bread, too much raspberry sauce (it didn't taste like freshly-made too), too sweet. Good place to get your sugar-level up, I guess.

This place has some amazing breakfast foods. I've only eaten breakfast so I can't comment on lunch or dinner. But they make the best stuffed French toast I've ever had. I would say in Aurora my two favorite breakfast spots would be Blueberry Hill and Pommegranate Cafe. My favorite dish is the stuffed apple French toast and a coffee.

Place isn't even that big nor was it busy and we couldn't even get a drink refill! This will be my last visit there. There are better breakfast places out there. You can always tell a great breakfast place by how busy it is on Saturday and Sunday. I got the "king of the hill" which is a huge baked omelet with potatoes, sausage, bacon, ham, green peppers and onions. It also came with a side of pancakes. Even for a big eater like me it was more than I could eat for a combined breakfast and lunch. The service was great. She must have filled my coffee mug 10 times and it never came close to getting empty.

My wife and I are regulars and have been for 10 years! We eat here on average of 2-5 times per week. We love the food as well as the staff. We often have family members and business associates from out of town visit and Blueberry Hill is always on their must go to list of restaurants in the area. They are always willing to accommodate your requests. We know because we often order items off of their older specials menus. The prices are much better than restaurants like Eggsperience that charges close to $10 more for 2 people for the same type of meal.

This place is great for the burbs! lots of choices and service is fast and great! I spend a lot of my weekends in the city and finding out that their is no comparision to chicago downtown breakfast joints to suburban diners! Although I didn't quite have as many bones to pick with Blueberry Hill, I can definitely say that dining here is definitely worth a try. No foul smells wafted in my path as I entered the strip-mall restaurant, and it really just had a typical diner feel to it. There was no wait on a sunny Thursday afternoon. We were greeted by a pleasant host, who was busy as we walked into the restaurant. But he cordially apologized and escorted us to our choice booth. A much more unpleasant waitress introduced herself and lobbed some menus on our table. Our first observation on the menu was that Blueberry Hill really made every effort to jazz up the breakfast standards: French toast, pancakes, and omelets/skillets/eggs. It was even difficult to find plain French toast and pancakes. No stars were docked; it was just interesting. Eventually, we ordered the following items with prices and descriptions copied verbatim from their takeout menu: -Pigs in a Blanket - $6.89 - Fluffy pancakes wrapped around fresh pork sausage -French Toast Sampler - $6.59 - A sampling of our most popular items: apple-raisin, banana nut, and Texas style with strawberries -- I substituted the apple-raisin for plain French toast (non-Texas style) -Eggs - not on menu, so price is not provided - ordered as a side dish -Milk, served with the meal, of course - not on menu, so price is not provided - no options of fat content, but we thought it tasted like whole milk, which was a deviation from our typical 2% preferences The Pigs (sausages) were longer and thicker than usual, but just unsatisfying (insert wrong interpretation here). We prefer sausages with a little more bite, seasoning, and crispness. There wasn't much of a casing, and the sausages needed a little shake of salt and pepper. The Blankets (pancakes) were equally unsatisfying. They were a little salty, battery, and hard, which was a far cry from the description of "fluffy" on the menu. Although IHOP and Denny's are pretty inconsistent, I've had better pancakes at each one of those 24/7 establishments. On the other side of the table, we had the French toast sampler aka the saving grace of the meal. I am so glad that I substituted the apple-raisin French toast for the plain French toast. I'm not saying that I wouldn't have enjoyed the apple-raisin; I am saying that I enjoyed the plain French toast tremendously. And without it, I probably would have given Blueberry Hill 2-3 stars. It was a perfect French toast. The banana nut French toast was also really tasty, and on par with the plain version. It was a slice of banana nut bread lightly dipped in an egg mixture, and fried. It was creative and it even inspired to create my own version of French toast using French toast muffins from Costco. On to the next one: Texas style French toast with whipped cream and strawberries. It sounds better than it tasted. I prefer a thinner bread for my French toast, and the strawberries were nasty. The strawberries were similar to those that you would receive on atop a Sara Lee strawberry cheesecake. No thanks. I prefer fresh. No one can go wrong with whipped cream though -- it's always THE BOMB lol. Overall, I'd visit Blueberry Hill again. They have an SMS-based mailing list and are often in the local newsletter, both which offer excellent coupons such as buy 1, get 1. Is it the near-perfect rating establishment? Not to me, at least.

Just went there this morning with the hubby! Can we say YUM-O!?!?! Their waffles are DA BOMB! I ordered the (I think it was called) breakfast special. It came with two eggs, and your choice of two other sides, I got the plain waffle and sausage patties. And let me tell you... it actually came with 4 eggs, a half of a plain waffle, two sausage patties (and then I ordered some wheat toast on the side). So, needless to say I was STUFFED after the whole experience. Their coffee was great, they have different flavored creamers on the table, which is nice. The waitress was SUPER nice and friendly. You get A LOT of food for your money. If you leave hungry then I'm not sure that you really ate at Blueberry Hill then, cuz I tell you what... this place feeds you, and they feed you well!!!

We finally tried this restaurant and regret we never came sooner. Fast service and really good food. Definitely puts ihop and dennys to shame. Food was awesome and there was sooo much of it! I chorizo omelet, the chorizo was not too spicy or greasy. My wife had an omelet also, she didn't love it, but that's because she didn't realize how it was prepared. She ate it but it didn't knock her socks off. That was no fault of Blueberry Hill

I really want to like Blueberry Hill, but each time I go, I feel like it's just OK. There are better options in the area. Unfortunately, I don't think the pancakes are very good for a place that calls itself a "pancake house." My son has ordered them several times and they are consistently dry and crumbly when you cut them. The breakfast options seem a bit overpriced, as you have to order everything a la carte. The lunch menu seems more reasonable, as the sandwiches come with soup and fries or fruit.

The best...I have not had a bad meal at this place. The skillets are where it's at, big and flavorful. I was brought here for work for a morning meeting and have been going at least twice a month if not more. Get there early because they get packed quick.

Went here for Sunday brunch at around 10 am, and definitely fulfilled my steak and eggs craving. The managing staff is really efficient and nice, as are the waiters. The decor of the restaurant is quaint enough to make me not feel like i'm at ihop. The blueberry banana pancake was ok. This is a great place to go when you're craving that denny's type breakfast with a non-chain feel.

Extremely disappointed especially after reading all the positive reviews. We ate there 7/12/11. The carpet was very dirty. They don't clean underneath the tables. The food was below par. The eggs were tasteless and the pancakes were falling apart making it very difficult to pick up with your fork. The pancakes were not anything special.

This place is really good for breakfast, I haven't been disappointed yet. Can't comment on lunch, but for a traditional breakfast, it rocks. I haven't been yet on a weekend morning, I suspect its probably busy, but it wasn't bad during the week. The tables are good sized. Heck, even the water was good (with the lemon added). I usually get an omelet and some pancakes on the side, and it was very tasty. The only complaint I have is when I see staff sitting at the table in the main area, I don't like to see that in any restaurant, but its a minor issue (why I didn't give it 5 stars).

My favorite pancake house. Good fresh food. Tastes much better than IHOP. The pancakes are light and fluffy.

It does the simple things well and doesn't try to be what it isn't. GOod diner food, good service. Highly recommend especially for Breakfast.
