Over $40 for a mediocre 9x13 pan of lasagna? Nope. Not for feeding a ravenous and hard working staff. I can make that at home, tastier and considerably cheaper. I've had some delicious stuff here in the past (hence the begrudging three stars ), but it's been a while. I will probably give this place another chance as I like to support local businesses, especially in Old Town, but it won't be any time soon. :-\ Wish I could give a better review. Maybe next time.

This place is a MUST GO in Pocatello. The proprietors are longtime restaurateurs who believe in great food, spoiling service, and will make you want to come back for more. Lisa has a winning smile and the disposition of an earthly angel. Really, it's worth it just to stop in and see her. If I ever get back to Idaho, I'm going to Villano's. Probably twice!

Holy WOW! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the entire experience. Even the teens were happy - and that's hard to do! Go and enjoy!

So I had the garlic twists which were fantastic the marinara was spicy but the Alfredo sauce for dipping was bland. I also got a combination pizza and there are plenty of toppings the only problem is for having a thin crust it's not crisped. The under done pizza crust is a problem. The taste was delicious just a little undercooked. I will be back to try again could just be an off day.

Lisa and Aaron are home town kids who know how to make everyone who comes in to the Resturant you are special friends. Their food is awesome made from scratch from Grandma Villanos old family recipies. Try it I think you will be happy you went.

I had heard so much about Villanos I had to check it out. Booked a table of 15 for my HS volleyball team. Large groups like this always face service issues but Villanos took great care of us! Piping hot gourmet pizzas were delicious. The Margherita was authentic and soooo fresh! Drizzle of balsamic, light crisp on the outside soft on the inside crust, fresh fresh tomatoes and out of this world. My hungry team ordered every pizza known to man - rave reviews from all. Really appreciated the very affordable night, great service and fresh handmade pizza. My team will be back!

The food is really good and the staff is friendly, it's not the fastest service but the good mostly makes up for it. Just slightly more attentive service and they would get five stars. I will definitely eat here again.

Villano's is one of the best Italian restaurants in town. The prices are very reasonable, especially for a college student like me. My family and I enjoy the Spicy Chicken Penne Alfredo paired with either the Garlic Bread with Cheese or the Garlic Knots. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Service is fast and food is always cooked perfectly! Villano's also have great gluten free and vegetarian options and will customize just about any order for their customers.

My family and friends really love this place, so I end up being dragged there often. That being said, it is a pretty good restaurant but not the greatest Pocatello has to offer. Now for Italian in Pocatello, it is one of the better (and only) choices, so if you're craving Italian this is a pretty good option...although I do prefer the other choice that is near the hospital. My party always orders breadsticks with the alfredo sauce, which are tasty. I have also tried their pizza, their pastas, and their soup. I would recommend not ordering the soup...it tastes worse than something from a soup can. However, the pizza and pasta is quite good. I enjoy the bacon ranch pizza and the chicken alfredo pasta dish. My father-in-law who is also dragged here often had their spaghetti on our last trip and it was terrible. So stick with the white and alfredo sauces and you'll have an okay trip.

Wanted to find a place to eat in old town and stumbled upon this place. Didn't have too high of expectations but the food was great! The cheesy bread was solid, chicken artichoke lasagna was real good too. Only suggestion is please turn off the hip hop and maybe do some....dunno, Italian music?

WOW great pasta and pizza, finally good Italian in Pocatello! Soups made from scratch. I had the clam chowder and it was great, also the baked Pennia chicken Alfredo. Both were excellent

Great food, great prices and great people. What else can you ask for? The pasta is a must try!!

The food wasn't great. We ordered a cheese pizza, a veggie calzone without cheese, and a veggie pizza. They were all just okay. We also had a side salad, but it had a moth in it, so no one wanted salad after all.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
