We were staying right next door and after a 9 hour day of driving, didn't want to go very far to get to a bar. Neither of us had ever been to a Red Lobster before so our expectations were very (I mean very) low. Especially being from Maine where getting lobster means getting it off your buddy's boat and cooking it yourself! Anyway, we were pleasantly surprised with the nice, upscale decor and wood bar. We got our first margaritas really fast and drank them equally fast. I proceeded to drink 2 bloody Mary's which were really good and my boyfriend had two bourbon and ginger ales which were nice and strong. My Caesar came with too much dressing but the shrimp were good. Boyfriend's Cobb salad was accidentally undressed but there was so much flavor that he didn't mind and ate it anyway! The only thing I can say is - give the poor bartender a barback!!! She's doing service and the bar for the whole packed restaurant? Crazy!!! That place was packed on a Wednesday night and she was outrageously busy. Needless to say, she got a big old tip from us!

I can't tell you how many times I have come to this Red Lobster. I never had any issues - the service was always great, food was good, atmosphere was clean and nice, and the prices are decent. I wouldn't come here to get really amazing seafood, but it's not bad if you aren't looking for anything extravagant!

Good food. Very long wait for 6 (1:45). Food came out in waves. 1st person finished dinner before last person got total order.

Loved it! Took my boyfriend there for his birthday and the waitress was so sweet and professional, food was great, very clean. It's a little too dark in there but no biggy. Amazing service.

Chain restaurants...not a huge fan because I like supporting locals and chains can sometimes have questionable quality. Also. Seafood in the Midwest is not really fresh unless it's local. So why the hickory heck did we go here? Well, we were in the area and wanted to see what the fuss was and had set our expectations accordingly. If you do that it's ok. The space is really big and very family friendly. The server was great, very nice. We had: I got 2 Bahama Mamas and a hurricane. All of them were ice-fruity cocktails. Not too sweet. Refreshing spiked smoothies. My companion got a jumbo Blue Moon and Coors Lt. Then the Cheddar Bay biscuits which everyone says are bitchin. But, I mean they're drop biscuits w/ cheese and seasoning. If you're hungry I guess I understand. Salad. My salad they forgot then brought late (and was still missing croutons). My dc liked his. My dining partner got a linguine w/ lobster tail, scallops, shrimp, clams all in white wine and garlic sauce. He had it before during Lobster Fest and is still smitten. I didn't try it but it didn't look special. I got the wood fired Lobster tail, with scallops, shrimp skewer on wild rice pilaf. Mundane. The fish/shell fish tasted frozen and drenched in butter. The lobster was the star of the plate. The rice was tiny and crunchy (?). We ordered key lime pie at the start of the night. The nice server comped it for forgetting my salad then bringing the wrong one. I had a bite and it was ok. My dc liked it. I think this is alright for a lowkey evening or with family or if you are passing through.

Came here to celebrate my mother's birthday. There were 10 in our party. Since they don't do reservations they at least accommodated by me calling about an hour before to let them know of the size so by the time we got there we only had to wait 15 minutes or so. This place was busy, but it was a Saturday night also...always busy! The server and assistant on our table was great (I don't remember her name though). Almost all of us ordered the AYCE Shrimp promo...can't go wrong with $16.99 AYCE shrimp; and those delicious biscuits kept coming out hot too since we all loved them. They brought out a little ice cream dessert for my mother at the end. Server had no issue figuring out the check splits at the end. Just an amazing great evening with the family and close friends!

We used to come here a lot , then they changed. Food quality and service went to hell.... So we tried again hoping things might have changed. The food tasted good but the portions have really shrunk. I think for the money they charge for their food you should get a bigger portion. We will not return again . I would rather drive to Peoria and spend my money at " Joes Crab Shack". Sorry but it is what it is...

I agree with others. Why do So So many QC residents support this huge chain restaurant? The only $$ that stay here are the minimum wage they pay with very few benefits included. The food is obviously so so. If they really served what was advertised, it might be OK but what is served is not what is on the TV. Why is the lot packed from 5:00 on??? I tried to look at the menu before joining relatives who suggested, Wrong - it was updated in 2012 wjth no prices included. If you like poor quality food - hyped through the media - go for it. You can have my parking spot!!

No. Just no. I took my mother here a couple of weeks ago because she kept talking about wanting some crab cakes, so I figured if anyone would do them well, it would be a seafood restaurant, right? Again, no. She ordered some combination plate with crab cakes, stuffed shrimp, and something else (maybe shrimp scampi?? can't remember) and, after taking 40 minutes to get our food out in the first place, she received crab legs instead of stuffed shrimp so we had to send that back (not worth it, by the way). Additionally, the crab cakes were mostly breading and not good. I, not caring much for seafood, ordered the pork chop with apple compote. Unfortunately, the chef forgot the apple compote, so I was left with a dry, strangely spicy pork chop and some chokingly spicy broccoli on the side. Yum. The biscuits were good, though, and so was the caesar salad. Not good enough to go back, unfortunately.

What a waste of time and money. Service was slow and clumsy when present and that was not often. Our appetizer, the Lobster-Artichoke-and-Seafood Dip was not good at all, but I was so hungry I munched on it anyway and that is probably a good thing given that my entree was worse. The Caesar salad was terrific and I wish I had ordered it instead of the lackluster Garden salad that came with my entree. Our main courses were Crab Linguini Alfredo and after being disappointed in the Live Maine Lobster selection (only a couple humongous 3 pounders at six thirty on a Friday?) I ordered the Ultimate Feast which is to consist of a Maine lobster tail, steamed snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi and Walt's Favorite Shrimp. It was horrible. The lobster tail was so overcooked I couldn't chew through it without my teeth squeaking. The shrimp was greasy and the scampi style came over salted, the crab legs were decent and really the only thing I ate. What annoys me most besides our servers slowness was that I had to beg for attention the whole meal, which came so slowly, (can you bring more bisquits, please take away this monstronsity of an appetizer plate and these spent glasses?) and then when waiter sees a virtually untouched meal he doesn't inquire at all? The Alfredo went over much better but was still overpriced and forgettable. This place is a disaster. I do not love the chain dining experience typically but this place has serious work to do from servers to chefs. Just miserable.

Red Lobster. Fish and chips were not very good. This is why I never go to Red Lobster. No matter how nice the decor is, the food is below average.

Typical Red Lobster in decor. I had shrimp scampi. My favorite is the cheddar bay biscuits. They no longer offer apple sause instead of the salad. Our server was very pleasant, and she smiled, and it seemed genuine. I think she really likes her job. That was nice to see.

February 1st... Four of us girlfriends met up today for the first time together in years. We went there because of the good food lobsteritas and the great memories we have had there..we were there for quite sometime catching up so we asked for the back room because we didn't want to be rushed in and out. The server made it clear that he should have already been off work but they got busy late so he was stuck. We said we'd happily pay him if he wanted to leave because we didn't want to cause him to be stuck there because of us.. He said he was fine and pretty accommodating without one smile or friendly word he did his job but unhappily.. Which was sad because he made $ off our table of 4.. We had margaritas then ordered appetizers eventually our meals.. Now each of us had poorly made top shelf drinks, $12 for each one..4 appetizers and each of us order the most expensive meal on menu.. $26 for each lunch.. Ok maybe not as expensive as a whole lobster but each of our bill were between $60 cheapest the other bills were about $80 a piece.. 2 drinks a pice 3 apps and our meals.. The food was the worst..the lobster tasted old over cooked. We still tipped about 25% with barely a thank you.the food was edible but not good.. Maybe the margaritas helped choke it down plus we were just so excited to see each other and catch up we didn't. Complain.. The davenport red lobster seems to have same decor and furniture that has been there for at least 10 years or more.. I don't expect great seafood in the Midwest but cooking my own walmart frozen seafood is even better.. Very disappointing and probably won't go back for a long time..the prices for what you get on top of the over cooked lobster, scallops and shrimp and old lettuce for salads was pretty sad.. The waiter made at least$60 in tips on our table of 4 and never came back to thank us..my advice is too spend your $ elsewhere.. If anyone has a better suggestion for half decent seafood in the qc please reply to this. I wish I had kept my receipt to do the survey on the back. But just a warning for anyone else looking for decent food and atmosphere steer clear of this red lobster.
