Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

The 'server' or the person who got us the food, was thinking about if she should put more food on our plate. There was a line in the restaurant, and the bowls were half filled with food. In order to accommodate everyone, they didn't prepare more food, but instead the server mentally divided it into portions. So in the end the plate wasnt very full. And the plate / take out box is smaller than at main land. At least the food was crispy and hot.

Panda Express in Kihei just provided dinner for 100 guests at our community event. We met with manager Rhoanne a week prior and make all the arrangements. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with. The food was delivered exactly on time and arrived hot and delicious. Plates, napkins, utensils, fortune cookies were provided. The price was the best we could find for feeding this many people on a non-profits budget. They get 5 stars for service, courtesy and quality and we'd use them again. Mahalo nui loa Rhoanne and your team! Kihei Community Association

I have been to this Panda many times over the years. It has been here a long time. My Family has lived in Kihei for at least 10 years. I remember when this place was really good! I discovered Eggplant and Garlic here. But, alas something has happened! It is not the same place. Came in here Friday night ,there was 3 of us.We wanted it to go. The staff was nice enough. They were helpful and everyone was cleaning so maybe they were getting ready to close. We all know things shut down early in Kihei ,even if it is Friday night. Any way, we did not ear till we got back to the house. Everything was dry. The rice , the chow mein, all of it. We had gotten 2 orders of the Chinese spare ribs. they had chucks of bone in it and were like chewing leather. I am sorry to say , but I question weather the Chicken was Chicken. Because, it did not look like Chicken, did not taste like Chicken, and did not smell like Chicken. It freaked me out so much I had to throw the whole thing away. That was a lot of cash money down the tubes that night. The only thing we could eat was the Bottled water. 2 Stars only because, the staff was nice.

5 stars for a great restaurant. The food is consistently good, employees are extremely nice and helpful, and the restaurant and bathrooms are always clean! Obviously not authentic Chinese food, but delicious none the less. Best deal for a quick cheap bite in Kihei, especially if you are craving Asian food. BTW, there are no good authentic Chinese restaurants in Kihei, so panda is your only choice!

I rarely rave but they are so amazing I had to the best customer service i ever experIenced at pandas. They greeted every single customer as soon as they walked in the door and we were there for almost 90 minutes they were happy smiling and you could tell they appreciated their job and had great training I would definitely drive to this pandas from the one in Kahului

LOL I was in the mood for Chinese. I was walking distance to King's BBQ but the food didn't look the most appetizing (had a feeling if I were to look in the back I would have an excellent view of cats and maybe some dogs...). Food at this Panda Express was overcooked and the chow mein lacked flavor. Would I go back to? Yeah because I might have just been there at a bad time.
