Most people I know have never heard of this bakery. They don't advertise, and it's rarely ever mentioned in magazine articles, blogs, etc. Yet they make some of the most delicious pastries and pies on the island. My favorite things to get here are: glazed donut, raisin snail, apple manju, custard/haupia pie and pumpkin/custard/haupia pie. They make a lemon crunch cake that looks really similar to The Alley's lemon crunch cake, and I hope to try it soon, because it's much cheaper than The Alley's. It's definitely my go-to bakery when I'm in kaneohe. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I was recommended this place by my brother and finally tried it! Its so good and the pastry tasted so fresh. It wasnt too sweet but it was just right. They didnt have the prices listed so I dont exactly know how much everything I bought actually cost butit was totally worth the money I paid for!

My first visit to Deluxe Pastry Shop will not be my last. This hole-in-the-wall bakery is one parking lot over from Kaneohe Bakery; if you're trying to find Deluxe and see the Kaneohe Bakery sign, you're real close. The place doesn't look like much from the street, but anyone who's ever eaten at a great hole-in-the-wall place knows the best places are sometimes the most buss up looking. After reading other reviews, I stopped by with a friend to try their Eclairs (which come in all Chantilly and Chocolate with Chantilly, both in regular and mini sizes). We were kicking ourselves for not buying more as we devoured our Mini Eclairs in the car. The little old lady that helped us was sure to stuff our package with napkins saying, "I no kea if you make mess YOURSELF, no make mess da KAH". I loved her with her beehive hairdo and that eye make up, ugh I couldn't handle! She was so cute and helpful as we asked questions about the different things for sale. That day we also tried a Danish and Lemon Bar. The Danish was great, the Lemon Bar was a bit too sweet for my liking but still good. I've yet to try the pies, but have definitely got my eye on their Pumpkin Haupia for next time. Cash only!

So I had a destination wedding and was on a budget and was not about to spend $300 on a wedding cake. So after yelping some bakeries out near my wedding venue of Haiku Gardens, I found Deluxe pastry shop. I ordered the lemon crunch haupia cake without even trying it. Well, nobody was disappointed because it was absolutely AMAZING! Delicious and perfect! Highly recommend you try it and think about ditching those disgusting fondant cakes for your wedding and getting this one!

Grew up in Kaneohe, had a friend that worked here during high school, and only discovered the magically delicious eclairs just a few years ago... I've been missing out! The chantilly eclair is topped with their heavenly chantilly and filled with scrumptious custard. The chocolate eclair is topped with a thick layer of chocolatey goodness with the same custard filling also. Both types come in regular size and a mini (guilt-free!) size... betcha cant just stop at one mini though! Next time I come, I'll try their famous lemon crunch!

Doughnuts were not good at all. Didn't even taste like a doughnut. Kaneohe Bakery right next door is much better! Instead of a classic chocolate glaze, staff squirted some yucky chocalate-ish substance on top that resembled cupcake frosting but was much less appealing. Older woman behind the counter was very unpleasant. Also, doughnuts are $1.55 each which I think is outrageous! I will not be visiting or recommending this shop.

I love aunty kine workers. Older ladies who are so funny, always trying to get you to buy more than you could possible eat while having a mischievous smile on there face. That is how it felt at Deluxe Pastry in Kaneohe tonight when the worker thought we wanted a whole pie to go with everything else we had already bought. But you know what we will probably be back later next week to get a whole pie!!

Wish the exterior was a little more inviting but that's the only complaint I have. Wanted a treat and thought I'd stop here instead of making my usual trip next door. Tried the mini eclairs. OMG, so good. Not exactly cheap since two of these minis costs as much as a big one but the big one has more but the minis use chantilly frosting instead of the usual chocolate, and that just added to the yumminess. The custard pie looked so good too but really couldn't use a whole pie. But definitely on the to-try list.

there eclairs are the best! there made fresh daily. ..They also make delicious butter rolls.

  • Marnica B.

Wanted to try more things from here, but found out that it was CASH ONLY. Going to have to come back and try out more of their goodies. Until then, I can only say that the eclairs were pretty good, but I must say that I prefer the richness of the custard from places like Kilani, Paalakai, and Liliha. Going to try and come back for some cake though since it's on the way to my brother's house in Kaneohe.

My father in law said this place has been around since he was a kid. What else is there more to say. Theres a reason why it this place is still around. So, everyone on yelp says to get the long johns. Been here twice and they sold out. What the heck dude??! So I just settle for some eclairs and cinnamon raisin rolls. One word!! WOW!! I cant even explain it. Go and try it!! For gods sake! ! Go now before they run out!!!!! They need to do a lil remodeling! When I opened the screen door, I thought I broke it. Dang!! Thats Hella ghetto! Can you tell im from SF? Im jealous of all you Kaneohe-ans!!! Kaneohe Bakery and Deluxe Bakery??!! And its right next to each other? WTF? U people are spoiled!! Sorry to be hate'en on u folks...

My family has been buying their pastries and pies from here since I was a little girl. There is no other Bakery for us. Deluxe is it. That's why it's such s bummer when they go on vacation Now I have to just wait for my custard pie and the best butter rolls ever. I totally get it..they nerd a break before the holidays.. But I can't wait til the get back. My favorite is theemon Custard pie, which they only make on Fridays. I also love the ppkin custard and their classic custard...mmmm. So good. Eclairs are the bomb. Both the regular and the minis, long johns to die for. Dream Cake was moms favorite and Peach Bavarian was Dads. Brownies and Cinnamon twists are great for the kids and my other fave from here Chantilly cake and the butter horns with Chantilly frosting! Like I said Deluxe Bakery is a part of all of all of our family parties. All of the ladies there are always super nice.

Service is always excellent here. The Eclaire's do go out pretty fast. I usually go early in the morning to make sure if get what I need. If I have a larger order I call ahead of time and place an order. They only accept CASH HERE. Good to know if you are buying a lot. It's a very tiny shop in Kaneohe. But the pastries are excellent.

Lemon Crunch Cake! If you're old enough to remember the lemon crunch cake from the Alexander Young Hotel Bakery......this is it!! yelp.com/biz_photos/BnaX… yelp.com/biz_photos/BnaX… I Googled and found out that when the hotel on Bishop and Hotel was torn down in the 1980's and the bakery closed, one of the bakers went to Le Bon Bakery and another was the owner of Deluxe Pastry in Kaneohe. If you don't see a cake that you want ask them. (They have a small sign to that effect on the counter.) That's what we did. I went there specifically to find the lemon crunch cake. They didn't have any, and when I asked the clerk said they could make one in "5 minutes". I thought I heard wrong, but sure enough she went in the back and frosted one for me. The cake was light and airy. The frosting is light (sort of like Reddi-whip) and was okay, but nothing to write home about. What makes the cake is the crunch. It tastes like they made it themselves. I would have like to taste, more lemon in the crunch, but it was still great. Deluxe is also known for their pies: custard pie, coconut custard, lemon custard, and apple. The lemon chiffon crunch is only made on Fridays. They also have eclairs (and mini eclairs) which I've got to try on my next visit there. They also sell small cartons of milk and juice to go with their pastries. yelp.com/biz_photos/BnaX… yelp.com/biz_photos/BnaX… yelp.com/biz_photos/BnaX… This is an old style bakery complete with screen door. Nothing fancy, but good old fashioned pastry and friendly service. Oh...and Cash Only! 31 Yelps Challenge: #12/31

The perfect small bakery that I love! I got there just after opening. They offered me a sample of the tea cake - not really my taste, but I love the warm kindness of a small shop. The eclair I got was LOADED with custard (the messy good kind). My only knock is they should join the 21st century and accept credit cards. This is particularly true when I paid $26.49 for a dozen mixed pastries.

Best pie without any pretensions, add haupia topping for extra richness. Custard, pumpkin, pumpkin-custard are the standbys, but I've never had a bad pie here. Just tried lemon chiffon today, which according to the sweet old lady at the counter said was her favorite, blew my mind.

  • Jason C.

One of the best eclairs I've had, anywhere. Certainly better than anything I had in Paris last month. Don't let the dumpy exterior fool you; this place is heaven on the inside (just like their eclairs)!

what: bakery with the beeeeest pastries! something good: all time best pastries eveeeeeer! i was blown away by the sweet treats that we received from our neighbors, mike and terri~!! honestly my first thought was that whatever it was would be good because it was sweets... but this was the best eclairs i've ever had in my ENTIRE life!! everyone must go to try this pastry shop! you won't be disappointed : ) and you can thank me later! something not so good: i wish i lived next door to this place so that i could eat it every day!!! something to try: chocolate and custard eclairs

Deluxe Pastry Shop is DA BOMB!! At the company I used to work for we would have our employees pick up a cake all the way in Kaneohe. If you have to drive all the way out there when there are so many other options you know it must be good. Three words Lemon Crunch Cake. That is all you need to know. the cake is soft and moist. The whip cream is light and delicious and the lemon crunch topping is just so awesome. They also have custard pies and eclairs. I want some right MEOW

  • Tiare Y.

Mmmmm...I love, love, LOVE this place. Lemon Chiffon Pie is good, available on Fridays, and I think also Thursdays but a little later. The Peach Bavarian Cake is pretty awesome too! I love their snails, eclairs, long johns, and the brownies! Staff is very nice, helpful, and friendly. I swear some of the aunties that work there, have been there forever! Parking is a little tight especially because of laundromat next door, but other than that this place is the best.

  • Janelle D.

It's a hole in the wall but don't let the exterior dissuade you. The bakery itself is small, plain, and not much in appearances. But the pastries and pies make up for all of that! If you love custard pie, this is the place! Warm, creamy, light, perfection! They also make my favorite cake of all time- chantilly. The cake is light and the flavor mild. The frosting is the best part- buttery with little bits of macadamia nuts. I would love to just have a container of frosting! Growing up I always got the cinnamon twist- it's flaky yet crunchy and sweet with carmelized cinnamon and rolled in cinnamon sugar. I swear half of Kaneohe must get their thanksgiving pies from here- even when you go early there is still a long line. The only downfall is parking. It shares a very small lot with a laundromat and bar. I think there's probably less than 10 stalls. I always have someone drop me off incase they have to double park while I run in. I hope Deluxe never shuts down.

This place has always been my very favorite bakery. I frequent this bakery for their ridiculously awesome pastries and such. Their blueberry scones that are soft, moist, flaky and filled with cream cheese. Their chantilly cake is to die for, one of the most delicious chantilly recipes out there, only seconded in my opinion by liliha bakery. Matter of fact I need to swing by today to grab a chantilly cake for our work party. We can't forget the ever so famous chantilly eclairs, they come in two sizes, the mini eclair and the large eclair. Those eclairs are quite the perfect snack and always delicious! oh as a side note, this place is cash only.

The last time we bought custard pie from here the crust was soggy and moldy. Yes, moldy. I was disappointed because usually their goodies are delicious and fresh

I was so bummed! yesterday I went by there and NOTHING good was left, they were wiped out! Diana said that its hit and miss on Sundays. I did not want to waste a trip to Kaneohe so I got a frosted cupcake and the lemon custard. As I have stated and animate about, just about anyone can make a cake BUT the frosting, now that's a different story. I believe that the cake is just the delivery system for the frosting and the frosting was lacking alot. It was that oily, old school, Crisco tasting frosting. Looks much better than it tasted. I must say that the lemon custard was completely different than what I was expecting and it was good. What a bakery, what a gem. Oh yeah because I didn't want to waste that trip into Kaneohe I decided to go next door, well a building over and get something from the competition and boy was a HUGELY disappointed. Diana and the head baker warned me but I wanted to give it a go.

I got the Long John...it was really good! Just prior to going here, I went to Kaneohe Bakery and ate an apple fritter. Can't decide which one I liked more...but I am a fan of anything with custard!

I was in search for a local bakery on the windward side, so after reading the reviews, I carefully searched for the "Kaneohe Bakery" sign and found Deluxe Pastry Shop a few stores away next to a laundromat... Parking: There were less than a dozen spaces, which were taken up by the people doing laundry, but I managed to find a vacancy... Ambiance: This place reminded me of going inside grandma's basement -- it was a bit dark and cluttered. There were miscellaneous things underneath the glass counter alongside the eclairs and longjohns. Service: "Grandma" aka the lady at the counter was really nice. The baked goods underneath the glass didn't have names or prices, so I pointed and chose. Food: I opted for chocolate, chantilly, and a longjohn. Although they looked rather plain-jane on the outside, after my first bite, I was SOLD. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! The filling was generous and not-too-sweet. The shell tasted like a puff pastry. These cream puffs are disguised as donuts! (And grandma's basement is really a pastry shop!) The chantilly was one of the best I've had. Overall: If you're on the windward side and need your pastry fix, go here!

This is my favorite bakery! Always stop by for the eclairs. Even if they have been sitting in the case, it always tastes fresh! I have tried many eclairs and only this one tastes this good. They also have a mini version which makes it good to take to potlucks, etc. Very good bakery and everything that comes from here is good!

    (5)
  • Travis W.

This is the best bakery ever!!! Long johns and eclairs are awesome they don't short change you on the custard filling. Be sure to bite the right end of the long john/eclair first or else you'll have a custard surprise on your lap. Everything is good here especially their custard pies.

    (5)
  • Sandy N.

Just had some of the custard pie from this bakery this past weekend. OMG, it was so creamy and yummy. It was warm and fresh too! I heard they have pumpkin custard pie, been searching for that forever! I have to check it out when I'm on windward side next time. I want to try the other pastries that everyone else is taling about (long johns, eclairs, etc.) Too many good food on this island, not good for trying to tone up!

  • Kenyan K.

This small bakery makes some good stuff. I've only eaten their pies and all of them were good; the best I've had. I tried the apple, pumpkin, and custard. Great quality and low price. They all cost around $10-12. You need to come early for the best selection as they often sell out of many items. The staff is very friendly. The parking lot outside is small but there are usually open stalls.

    (4)
  • L. Y.

Chocolate eclair, snail, lemon crunch bar. All were a delight. Ate first round in the parking lot and went back for the 2nd round. Eclair filling not too sweet, perfect custard. Snail bread pillow of softness. Lemon crunch bar had the right amount of tang.

  • Maile F.

This was my second stop at this bakery. I had to return to get the custard pie since my mouth was watering from my last visit. It did not disappoint. Check out my pic. I bough the coconut custard pie. I must if you love coconut like I do! Just a note. I was there yesterday and they are closing for one month. Sorry you'all are just going to have to wait!

There is always the debate on which bakery to go to in kaneohe town... hands down deluxe is my favorite bakery. our family has been picking up pies, their custard and pumpkin for years now, for most occasions we go there. gotta go their early for their SNAILS!! they are omg melt in your mouth buttery goodness. everything is so delicious and i love the old school family feel to the bakery.

  • Matthew K.

I like the Chocolate eclairs here. They are great. My Grandma would always buy her eclairs from here. I hardly have time to get them anymore. But the next day off I would totally try and get some. The cakes here are good as well. I cant say I have eaten other pastries but if you are in the neighborhood give them a shot. Then walk next door to Kaneohe Bakery and give them a shot too.

Was just at a party and Mr. Neal Takamori brought the best eclairs and long johns I ever had! Must visit this place soon! The filling is so ono!

  • Mei-Lin M.

Butter rolls are almost as good as Mike's Bakery but way better than most bakeries in town!! Long John is filled with yummy custard and I prefer the bread than donut kind at Zippy's. Overall, very satisfied and I like better than Kaneohe Bakery.

  • Trish P.

awesome glazed donuts! sweet, even glaze, and soooooo soft!!!!! they're pretty huge too....

  • Lina G.

Do not let the small hole-in-the-wall and unappealing location steer you away or fool you. This little place definitely will leave a yummy and lasting experience that bring you back again. This place consistantly puts out a home baked fresh taste. You cant help but savor the flavor(s)....You will find it hard to get just one. I recommend getting 2 of something or try several tastes to satisfy your taste buds! The location is easy to miss and sine Kaneohe Bakery is larger and easily visible people mistakenly go to the wrong shop so its tucked in the corner far right a definite must try if you like fresh and soooo oh so soft sweet delights. The parking well...like the location it cramped and very small but at least it is right of Kam Hwy. Overall it is worth the stop. I have yet to meet anyone who has never returned.

  • Tori M.

Located right next to Kaneohe Bakery but Kaneohe Bakery doesn't even come close to the desserts from Deluxe. Their eclairs are where the action's at. Based on what other Yelpers say, these aren't traditional eclairs but in that case, they're so much better! It's almost like a mini cream puff, but better! The cakes and pies are good, too. Heck, everything here is good! If you're looking for a good local dessert shop, this is the place to go. Solid four stars, and two thumbs way up.

    (4)

The best place for eclairs!! The Chocolate or chantilly eclairs both taste good. The Long Johns are good, too.

WORTH THE TREK! my aunt's friend was searching for the best long john's. she heard about Deluxe Pastry Shop and popped in while in the area. she brought us a box of long johns and eclairs. when i opened the box, they looked rather uneventful. but when i tasted the long john, it was an old-school donut with an old-school custard center! it was the perfect blend of soft, delicate donut, with a stove-top cream recipe! i then dove into the eclair. the simple chocolate stripe is a bid off-putting, once you taste it, you get over that real quick! the shell is actually akin to the old school cream puff shell...it is NOT a donut. the cream filling is the same custard as the long john, and paired with the chocolate stripe, it is HEAVEN! in fact, i was wondering if the chocolate was actually home-made? either way, this place is DEFINITELY worth the trip! after asking around, people definitely know about this gem, they just don't write reviews about it...different clientele...DELUXE ROCKS!

This bakery makes the best custard pies, long johns, and chocolate eclairs on island.

Best. Eclair. Ever. Forget your notion of those delicate French concoctions that you hold with two fingers with pinky in the air while pontificating over fine wine and what exfoliant to use on your eyelids. "Oh Jeeves, fetch me some tea with honey, for I am about to partake of my ECLAIR. Chop-chop." No, not that eclair. This is a Local interpretation of a dessert at its finest. It's big, rich, and best served cold on a warm tropical night. Hold it like you're eating a hotdog and feel free to get chocolate on your upper lip. But god help you if you need to turn left out of the parking lot when you leave during rush hour.

I happened to walk into this bakery one day just to check it out, it is definitely old school. It has plantation style wooden screen doors. When you walk in you notice it is a bit dark, kind of like they are trying to conserve energy. I looked over the assortment of pastries and settled for the long johns. The custard was creamy and the dough was soft, totally delicious. Ever since I tried it, 2 years ago I make it a point to get some every time I'm in Kaneohe. Not many old school bakeries left it Hawaii and this one is sure to be a classic someday. ----------------------Update 3/18/2008 ----------------------------- I just had the eclairs on my last trip home and they were like coco puffs on steroids. Awesome brah!

This is the best little known bakery on the island! Love the eclairs, long johns and chantilly eclairs, basically anything with the custard cream filling. Also, the custard pie has to be the best on the island! One of the best things at the bakery are the cinnamon sticks, flaky braided pastry covered in cinnamon and sugar, seriously how can you go wrong!?! And the prices are super reasonable given the amount of custard and size of the pastries!

I grew up on the Liliha bakery side of the street. What does that mean? It means I thought ALL eclairs were filled with custard, ALL cream puffs were filled with custard, and ALL long johns were, you guessed it, filled with custard. I love custard. Not super creamy, dairy rich, liquidy custard the color of a jaundiced albino but the eggy, yellowy sort of custard that can hold it's shape. Some may consider that cheap. If so, I consider YOU cheap. So there. My husband, on the other hand, thinks Liliha's custard filled creations are disgusting. He finds it infuriating that I always expect pastries to be filled with yellow custard and continues to lecture me about how all the rest of the bakeries everywhere in existence DON'T fill their things with custard, blah blah blah. Lies. At a craft fair one year, an extremely pregnant woman insisted that Deluxe bakery made the most delicious, scrumptious, mouth-watering eclairs in all the land. Which I took to mean they had the most awesomestiest, custardy-est eclairs ever. Nope. They were good. I didn't love the chocolate topping as it wasn't quite chocolate-y enough and was somewhat disappointed with the filling as it was nothing like the custard of my dreams (that sounds dirty, doesn't it? Don't think about it. And if it didn't sound dirty ignore this whole parenthetical insert). Just cream. My husband, on the other hand, claimed it was ten billion times better (That just seems like an outright exaggeration) than Liliha and loved it. He also loved their chantilly and, of course, declared that it was a thousand gajillion times better (An absolute exaggeration if ever I saw one) than Liliha and so on. "See?" he said, "This is what pastries should taste like." I will begrudgingly admit the chantilly topping and raisin snail thingy were rather tasty. And if I were in the presence of some Deluxe Bakery eclairs, I would probably eat one. Or three. What of it. The moral of the story is, if you are a die hard fan of Liliha's custard filling, you are going to find Deluxe bakery to be good but not the most incredible thing you've ever had. However, if you don't really like Liliha's custard filling, then you might find Deluxe bakery to be a veritable explosion of yum yum goodness all over your mouth. And if you don't eat things with either custard nor cream filling then, well, I cry for you and your pitiful lot in life.

Having purchased many, many items from this bakery, I can safely say that this is the BEST bakery in Kaneohe! For Thanksgiving, my family only wanted their butter rolls. When I bring the mini chantilly and chocolate eclairs to potlucks, the crowd goes wild! I bought a coconut manju for my mom and she ate it right away - no hesitation. My brother-in-law knows that they are known for their Long Johns - that's what I got for myself - there's more filling than anything! I also enjoy the apple manju - flakey crust and sweetly tart on the inside! Situated next to a local bar and a laundromat, this pastry shop is two doors down from Kaneohe Bakery. The interior is a small, plain, "antique", cozy space where customers are separated from the friendly cashiers by the glass case of various types of baked goods. Straight ahead are the shelves of pies - custard, custard apple, apricot, etc. So many choices! I like the traditional. lucky maneki neko (beckoning cat) and the sentimental photo of the former owner on the top shelf above the pies. (His daughter now runs the shop.) His wife still makes the delicious manju: red dotted for the azuki bean filling; plain ones are coconuit; and the green dots signify the apple flavor. It's a cash only operation that is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Enjoy!!

i still think kam bakery has the best glazed donuts but the ones from here are good too! they are soft and have a nice glaze but are a little oily to me. i would say they are runner ups to kam bakery. however, i absolutely love their long johns! i like how their custard is not too sweet and the pastry part is so soft! i also like the fact that their custard doesn't have a hint of coconut or haupia taste to it (unlike kam bakery). i detest anything coconut tasting blah! i tried their chantilly eclair and that was good but unlike other bakeries their chantilly doesn't have a very strong chantilly taste to it. even their chantilly cake, which others have raved about, lacked in my opinion because there was hardly any chantilly on it! the cake part was also a bit different since it wasn't the typical chocolate but a lightly colored tan i don't know what flavor. their chantilly cake is alright but i wouldn't order it again. oh, and i would also pass on their brownies - they're about the driest i've ever eaten!

Deluxe bakery is the go to place for pies and baked goods in Kaneohe. My personal favorite is pumpkin custard pie. On holidays the pies run out fast so make sure you're there early to buy pies before they run out. I've always loved this place. A small hole in the wall but super delicious.

Old fashion. Unassuming. You could easily miss Deluxe Pastry Shop if you drove too fast along Kam Highway, and then you would miss out on their combo flavored pies. Custard with lemon, apple, pumpkin, or haupia. Haupia with chocolate or pumpkin. They also make single flavor apple, chiffon, and apricot. The simple crusts have a nice crisp texture and they are not too sweet. The pies grandma would have made if she was a mad scientist mixing flavors, my favorite is the custard apple. If you like lemon crunch cake they make a nice version. Also get anything with chantilly, their long johns, and manju. I make a point of stopping by Deluxe every time I'm in Kaneohe to take treats home. Go early, they sell out of items by the afternoon.

I don't get out to Kaneohe much, but when I do I will make sure to make this little bakery is a part of my route. On my first visit, I got a couple of the mini eclairs and took home a pumpkin custard pie. You can even opt to have them add haupia to any of the pies. My family of 4 literally consumed the entire pie within 6 hours. I had one slice...and a half. My husband didn't think the crust was exceptional, but liked it because it wasn't too sweet. Custard and pumpkin are my faves and they were so delicious together. The eclairs were excellent too! I definitely want to return to try their manju, which Nat N. raves about, but it's only available certain days. The lemon custard pie also sounds delicious. I have lots of reasons to return! Cash only!

Cute bakery - CASH only - on Kamehameha Hwy. in the heart of Kaneohe Town, driving towards Honda Windward. Tried the mini chocolate eclairs and they are ono, creamy, with chocolate topping, filled with custard not whipped cream. Also tried the lemon bars-OK. Would have preferred them more tart than sweet. And I love bear claws, so had to try one of those and it was ono and moist, not dry and stiff! Nice stop in Kaneohe Town! Friendly counter waithelp that thank you for stopping by!

I never paid much attention when driving in this area and never knew this little Bakery was here all along making onolicious goodies. So when I decided to check them out... I blinked and passed it! Dag Nab It! Deluxe Pastry is a small bakery that is tucked away from the main road with a limited amount of parking stalls in front. It's one of those Bakeries that looks like it has been around forever patiently waiting for people like me to finally enjoy some of their sweet treats. I was excited to pick up some goodies to take home and share, I spied some delicious looking pastries calling my name. I picked up a Bear claw, Raisin Roll, Apple Turnover, Doughnut Twist, Manju and a Long John, it's so easy to go out of control here. I'm really surprised about them being opened on a Sunday and having quite a bit of choices, it might be that we came early in the morning. I know that I will be back to pick up some of their pies that I have been hearing about, Yes I'm talking about you Nat N.!! , can't wait to taste them!
