Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I love zPizza! Everything tastes so fresh. I love that they have slices so you don't have to buy a whole pie! They also have a variety of pizzas and flatbreads. Definitely try the pear and gorgonzola salad! I haven't had anything here that I don't like! Bon Appétit!

Great pizza but incompetent staff. I ordered 2 large pizzas but I got larges instead. This is what happens when you don't repeat the order back to your customer or present an itemized receipt. Mistakes can happen but it's how you handle it that matters. In this case the staff was rude and blamed me for their error - unacceptable!

Just tried today for the first time... and not the last. Very fresh and very good. Perfect place for Lunch. Service was good too (2 minutes late so they gave us free cookies).

This is my first experience with this location and company. I had pizza and salad as a delivery. We had the pear and Gorgonzola pizza and the arugula salad. The website said 45 minutes to an hour but they got it here in about 20 minutes. The pizza was only sized for one person but the salad could easily feed two, both about $8 each. We were both really impressed with the presentation and flavor of the food. I would definitely recommend this place, and we'll be back again in the future.

I gave this a try because I received a coupon in the mail. While ordering for delivery the employee was rude and kept getting the order wrong. After several attempts they finally got the order right. I will not be ordering from here AGAIN! Not only was the customer service horrible so was the pizza and calzone. The pizza was lacking flavor and the calzone was completely raw and disgusting. I wish I would have listened to the negative reviews. If you are looking for pizza delivery I would suggest Alessio's.

Good pizzas and salad $$$/4 Friendly service and somewhat quick. Okay interior Had the pear and Gorgonzola salad as well as a cheese pizza. Both were excellent. I love the crust of the pizza. Tastes very healthy and organic. A tad expensive for pizza but very good tasting. Spent $25 for a drink, Gorgonzola salad and a small cheese pizza. Overall good experience Would recommend and definitely go back if I had a coupon again.

Ok...for the first time, I ate a pizza I hated. When I asked for BBQ chicken pizza, I had no idea there'd be a million cooked veggies on it. The BBQ sauce was gross. I felt sick to my stomach after eating it. Nuff said.

It's regrettable to write this, because I really like their menu. The Curry Chicken Sandwich is one of the best to be had in any fast food place. When I visited today to order take-out, there were three occupied tables. I ordered and sat at a vacant spot to wait. Almost all of the tables were clearly not cleaned since vacated by their previous occupants. The sandwich took a full ten minutes, and I'm rounding down to make. When they brought it, they apologized for the wait, and I headed back to work. The chicken was severely over-spiced. You must know that I am not exaggerating, because I love curry, Thai and Indian food, but this was so overdone as to be just bad. The bread, as usual, was great. It's a shame, and I hope it's a one time thing, but for a $7 sandwich, it should be closer to just right.

Have to downgrade the place to three stars after another delivery arrived late. Over an hour and still waiting. Can't rely on them for dinner.

Absolutely horrible!!! They got both mine and my husbands order wrong!!! And the pizza and calzone were over cooked and terrible. Will not be coming back to this location!!! At least they refunded our money!!!

Awesome service. Vegan options. So so delicious! I love this place, just wish I lived closer. Prices are on the higher side, wish they would lower them by about 25% and I would hit them up a lot more. Also a way to receive deals by e-mail would be nice.

My wife and I like their pizza (it's good but not great) but have given up on the place due to the consistently poor service (both in restaurant and delivery).

Toppings did seem possibly organic, but out of a can. Crust was a sad, thin kinda gooey white flour concoction. Asked to have it crispy, and it wasn't even a little brown on the bottom. I've had worse pizza, but it came out of a box, frozen.

I've been back twice since the last review...yes, I know. So much for cuttin' those carbs. But that damn chicken sausage lured me back in again. And again. After a little tweaking I feel good about increasing the rating to a 4. It just took a bit of crushed red pepper - ok a lot of crushed red pepper since I like it hot - and some extra sauce. I love the chicken sausage and arugula combination and that crispy crust makes me all giddy inside. Glad I gave them another chance - I needed a new place for my lunch rotation.

Our track team regularly orders subs from here. The manger Sonya is very sweet and very helpful. The pizza is organic and so it the stuff they make. This store is very involved with the local schools and community and do a great job of customer service.

This is a review written immediately after visiting this zpizza during August 2011, but not posted. I am now posting it - so it is dated. I am a longtime zpizza fan -- first had it in SoCal and then living in Alpharetta I would order from the Windward location frequently. Turned many friends onto zpizza and until I ordered from this Duluth store I had only near perfect experiences. Quick summary of Duluth experience: ordered pizza online, which is suppose to be ready in 15 - 20 minutes. So I arrive in 15 minutes and as I enter the restaurant my phone rings - it is the cashier at zpizza calling to tell me they do not have one of my ingredients. Walking up to the register I realize she has not even put my order in; in fact has not even started to make the pizza (so much for the online 15 - 20 minute window). To make the situation worse she has to enter the order into the system twice because she gets it wrong the first time. 40 minutes after my order was placed online I am still waiting. During the time I am waiting I notice lots of food, empty glasses, etc. sitting on empty tables - never does anyone attempt to bus the tables, and the place is relatively dead (it is Sunday evening in Atlanta). I love zpizza but will not be coming to this location ever again - the Alpharetta Windward location does a GREAT job and luckily I live only slightly further from that location. For those who live close to this zpizza and too far from the Alpharetta location, I hope that my experience was an anomaly.

After only one visit, I would say that I definitely plan to return. They have fresh, organic ingredients with a huge selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. Only drawback is that they have a limited selection of slices for lunch -- only two "speciality" slices. The lunchtime slices are published in advance if that's your main intent.

I love pizza. I could eat it on a daily basis. But I'm also a vegetarian. This means that when I enter most pizza joints, I usually just automatically zone in on wherever the menu says something like "veggie" or similar, because there are usually not too many options for me. But walked into zpizza today, and was very, very pleased to find that I had not one, but several meat-free choices! Plus all the organic/natural/gluten-free components were just bonus. So, after much deliberation, we ended up ordering an XL California, got drinks, and sat down (by the way, they have peach flavored iced tea. yayers). The interior of this place is colorful, with tables exactly sized to handle your group of people + a piping hot pie on top. (Side note, this place also has a "100" on the government mandated cleanliness score, and it's obvious). We only had to wait about 15 minutes before the pie came out, and boy it smelled DIVINE. Crust was fluffy. Cheese perfectly melted. Good assortment of vegetables on top. Bit into the pie, and it tasted as good as it smelled. Usually I find pizzas to be a bit too greasy, but here the ingredients tasted FRESH, and (this is very rare for pizza) the whole pie tasted very light and healthy (weird). There were four of us, and the XL fed us perfectly. I will definitely be back - I did find myself perusing their menu before leaving in order to decide what I want to eat next time!

I bought a Johnscreek Football coupon card a couple months back and one of the coupons I have on there is a free combo with purchase of a combo to this zpizza. I had never been there before and since I work next door, I was always curious to what it was like. After my first try, I've been hooked! I usually get the salad/pizza combo or their soup/pizza combo. Their caesar salads are delicious, along with their red roasted pepper soup, and the variety of pizzas they have. The owner is also very nice. Two things, make sure not to get salads to-go, they're definitely not the same..and don't bother with the peach tea, it's pretty bland. Otherwise, its so awesome to be able to have a variety of vegetarian choices at a restaurant. Definitely one of my favorites. I love being a loyal customer here!

First I should say I rather picky about pizza and have to be in the mood for it. Not sure if that makes more or less qualified than your average person so rate a pizza place. zpizza is a modern little pizza place that has a pretty big menu of pizza choices reminiscent of California Pizza Kitchen. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. In addition to lots of pizza choices they serve several entree salads. Also at lunch time they have slice specials with different pizzas offered each day. Since I am picky, I usually opt for a small pizza for myself... the small is a just a bit too large for me to eat in one sitting. You could probably split a pizza and salad with someone. I have had the BBQ Chicken twice now and recommend it. Quite tasty. More recently I tried the mexican. I was informed it was a bit spicy, was that okay? Well it would have been - it was actually very bland. My coworker liked it, but no spice what so ever. Overall the food is fresh, the service good, the dining room cheerful and clean. Only downside is its a bit overpriced and you might need to work your way thru the menu to find the pizzas you like the most.

The pizza was very tasty and the service was quick. The restroom scared me little though with a mouse trap in plain sight.

NOT a pizza day. How're your sandwiches? Good, eh? I'll be the judge of that. Whoop-de-doo! That's a dadgum, good hoagie! Love the freshness of it all. No Subwayesque grinders here!
(4)D. K.
Great pizza! Plus all ingredients are ORGANIC! :D
(4)Allison H.
If you buy pizza by the slice it comes from a display case of premade pizzas and doesn't taste fresh. I ordered a salad which had delicious greens, avocados, tomatoes and cucumbers but the chicken was flavorless and definitely microwaved. It ruined what would have been a great salad. I haven't tried their sandwiches or pastas though but based on a couple of visits with mediocre food I doubt I'll go back.

ZPizza- is quite good and I've eaten at many across the country. The pizza and salads are all fresh and range from standard Italian to fusion inspired dishes. The negative is this location only- a bunch of punk kids reek with attitude.

I have a wife with Celiac and both locations are very good. I like this one because they have nicer service. Gluten Free Pizza is good, regular pizza is good. We frequent this place if my wife is with us.

Called the place at 8:50pm to order a small cheese pizza for pickup and was told that the ovens were already off and that they were not going to take my order. Google and Yelp both say that they are open until 10pm, but the person on the phone told me that they close at 9pm. Either way, according to them, "it takes 30 minutes to fire the ovens back up" and there was nothing they can do. So much for customer service!

Great food! Best gluten free pizza I have ever had. They also deliver! We definitely will be back again.
