Tonight was my first experience here and it will be my last. - The customer service was HORRIBLE!!! Our waiter was so rude I don't even know what to say. It wasn't even that busy but he was in such a rush to clean up our table. Took away the bread before we were even done and the manner he spoke to me and my date was just disgustingly rude. - I ordered the shrimp and scallop linguine alla vodka and it tasted like something I made in the kitchen (I'm a terrible cook). It had no taste to it. Didn't taste anything special. It was just blah. For $15 I expected something special. When the waiter brought the caesar salad to me, I was so shocked at how it looked. It was as if someone picked up the salad with their toes and put it on my plate. It was displaced and flat. Maybe it was a bad day to come but.... I was not impressed at all by the quality of both the service and food.

The Carrabba's restaurant used to be so good, great food at reasonable prices. Each time I went there the food would be delicious. But, that was a few years ago, now Carrabba's seems to have gone the cheap route with their ingredients, each time I order something it's less tasty then it used to be. For example, their sirloin marsala it used to be delicious with the meat being real tender. Now, the sauce is all watery and not made well, and the worst part the sirloin is very very tough, with fat lines running all throughout it. If it was a one time thing I would understand but, now a days EVERY single time I go to Carrabba's its a disappointment. I'd rather take my money save it and eat out at a fast food joint or a less expensive restaurant, cus it'll taste better and I'll have more money afterwards. With the quality and taste of the food that is being served by Carrabba's these days they are charging way too much for their low quality sub par food.

Our waitress was amazing. It's been a month, so her name has been erased from my memory by work, but she was just fantastic! I ordered the meal that had three types of chicken. Loved the chicken Bryan. Was not so fond of the Marsala. It was a little basalmicky for my tastes. Not the kitchen's fault that I'm picky. Our waitress brought me a new chicken Bryan because she didn't want me to be cheated of a few ounces of chicken. I didn't even ask her to and it was super sweet of her. The total went higher than I planned and she told me all about a deal on Monday nights that sounds amazing! Love them!

I loved our dinning experience at Italian Grill this evening. I had the Spiedino Di Mare with a garden salad....deeeeelicious! Delicious. Husband, wasn't pleased with his selection (Seafood Cannelloni) but we both liked the flat bread pizza (I think that's what they call it) with a cold beer. 10/23/14 - I love Carrabba's at this location. The muscles, flatbread, Jonny Rocko Salad and Steak with Crab were the best.. The food (delicious) and service (Charlie, our waiter) was the best!

Big fuss for regular food? Another type of chilis applebees type franchises. This low rating is not due to it being a chain. The wait for dinner was too long. Too many people and not enough servers. Never got a refill. I sat there for over an hour waiting for my food and was given just a small piece of bread to munch on. Seating is too cramped and this particular location is LOUD. Expensive. I ordered two cannolis andit was way too much for two bites of overly sweet wannabe canolis.Too long of a wait so reserve before you come.

I used to work at a Carrabba's in Tampa, FL eons ago during my college years. At that time, Carrabba's used to take pride in the food they put out. I've noticed over the years that they have now, regardless of location, slipped on overall food quality and portion sizing. Their portions have decreased significantly while their prices have increased. Using smaller food platters and shallow salad bowls are just a couple of industry tricks to get away with serving much smaller portions without you really taking notice. And what's with charging $17.54 for the Chicken Bryan entree with HALF a chicken breast and charging $18.79 for the same entree with a whole chicken breast?! What a way to strongarm your customers into paying $1.25 more! Very reminiscent of McDonald's and their "super sizing" tactics except at Carrabba's you're not getting anything in the way of a super size portion... What if you order during lunch hours? That same half Chicken Bryan entree is $12.99!!! Does the quality of this entree increase between the lunch & dinner hour to justify this range in pricing?! LOL! Regarding the half vs whole chicken pricing, how about you just charge for food based on actual value instead of patronizing guests with the false intention of giving us a "deal". Don't get me wrong, dear Yelp readers, I don't mind paying for a good meal, but what gets me to come back is getting value at the same time. Duluth's Carrabba's was ok. Nothing really to complain about with this location except maybe the hostesses can be a little more cheery about their job. Our check was $116 for 3 adults/3 kids and included 1 alcoholic drink & the rest water. Our server was actually very good throughout the meal. She was attentive up until the very end when we asked for our check. She disappeared for a few minutes and kinda left us hanging. Still, she had given us good service and we felt she earned the standard 20% tip. Will we return? It's doubtful. There are plenty of other restaurants this side of Atlanta where dropping $140 for a dinner experience will have you leaving full AND having leftovers for the next day!

We went to this restaurant on Wednesday night. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away. We were having a great day until we came here. We waitied for 15 minutes. NOBODY came to our table. Usually when we sit down, waiter comes and say hi and blah blah. But this time, NOPE. We read all the details on menu, trying to be patient but still had no one visiting our table. When I decided to just stop any waiter/waitress and ask for manager, one waiter who was passing by asked us if anyone came. Then he brought us drinks and took order. He told us he is not supposed to take care of our table and will make sure other will take care of us. Another guy brought our food and asked which is for whom. He did not apologize for the wait nor say anything. I am sure I could receive better service at ihop. I might go back because I love their food but I am not sure of this location.

I love this place. I've been here several times so it's probably best I'd write them a review. All their food is made from scratch and with fresh ingredients. When you try their pasta, you can tell that it's freshly made by how soft it is. A choice of soup or salad comes with any entree. Some items that I've had: I ordered the Tag Pic Pac with Chicken recently. This came with pasta cooked with fresh tomatos, basil, and chicken. As a drink, I usually order Sprite or sweet tea but this time I tried the Italian Sode in Orange. The drink came out yellow for some reason but that didn't bother me. I'm probably going to order this drink every single time from now on. The fettucine Carrabbas is alredo pasta mushrooms and peas (I get them without the mushrooms cause I'm not a fan) but you can have this with chicken or shrimp. All their soups are made fresh in house. I've had their tomato soup, chicken soup, and minestrone soup. All of which are delicious. The calamari is good too but kinda oily because they just fried it. (Source about freshness from previous employer)

This is my first time at this location. I've been meaning to come by but it seems like every time I pass by the park Iot is always empty. And once again it looked that way again. But I didn't let that stop me and boy am I glad I didn't. The food was good.....not great!!! But good. I think little more something can be done to some of the dishes to make them a little more tasteful. This is the reason I didn't give 5 stars. Oh! Another thing my daughter order desert and tasted like one of those store bought aluminum pan pound cakes that's always dry. And you have to add some type of fruit syrup or whip cream to get to go down your throat. But all in all we had a descent meal.

The food was okay. My meatball sandwich was cold. It was replaced with a hot sandwich. The service on the other hand needs some work. My waitress Leshay was obviously not in the mood for us since she refused to come by our table and caught an attitude whenever we asked for something. I don't live in the area so I doubt I'll be back.

My family and I love going to Carrabba's and enjoy eating there for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. It has always been a little bit expensive but the food and atmosphere made it worth it. Last night we had dinner there to celebrate mine and my daughters' birthdays. I ordered the shrimp and scallops Spiedino. My plate literally came with four small shrimp, four small scallops and about one cup of garlic mashed potatoes...all for $19.99. I felt like I had received an appetizer plate. I left there feeling as though we had been taken advantage of. We won't be returning.

Im not sure about some of the negative posts on here because I went in when it was fairly crowded, didn't want to sit in the bar and got a table for just me. My service was excellent. My food was excellent. Im not sure what else they could do to increase my very satisfied experience. I am glad I ignored the bad reviews. I would definitely go back again.

It was good, but nothing more. Service was good, the server always came to refill our drinks. The food is pretty much the normal chain fare.

We always love the calamari. I always get the salmon because it is always good. We go to the one on Sugarloaf. The servers are always professional and quick. It is one our favorite places to eat, always. Tim always loves his veal or chicken parm. We love this place.

You know, I always feel strange reviewing national chain restaurants and I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe it's the notion that a Carrabba's in Duluth, GA isn't really that much different than a Carrabba's anywhere else in the country. It's the subtle differences. Anyways, I digress. What I will say is this: While the salad and sides taste very much like "national chain" food (as in poorly seasoned, mass-produced, and lacking in attention to detail), the mains - the Chicken Bryan and Prosciutto-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin were DELICIOUS! I have no doubt that if these menu items were plated in a non-chain restaurant that it would be popular. Let the food snobs turn their noses up at this! Haters gonna hate. The service was also surprisingly good. Our waiter was on the ball all evening. Our glasses were never empty, he made sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we wanted, and he was prompt. I couldn't ask for anything more from our waiter. Spot on. If they could use greener, healthier looking lettuce in their salads and improved their sides, I would gladly give them 4-stars.

Went in and was told the wait time would be 30-40 minutes. At the end of wait time we went back up and inquired about how long and they didn't have us on their list. We gave them our name twice and they gave us a little alerter which had a number that they couldn't find. Apologized and seated us immediately and nobody ever waited on us. They should be staffed to the max when there is a concert in the arena. We left an ended up having a nice meal at chick fil a.

I ordered the shrimp and scallops $19. I got four small shrimp and 3 scallops. For my side I got asparagus which I had to pay $1.50 extra. It was was awful. Cold, bland and small portion for $20. Carrabbas used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Never again.

First time here, Had my Daughter's Sweet 16 dinner here. We had a party of about 30 with 3 servers. The Service was slow, but then again we had a large party. The food was good, My guest complained about the menu not having many choices. And a few sent their food back, and had an even longer wait the second go round. Will visit this Resturant again , but with a smaller group!

Great service! This was my first time at this particular location. This is my favorite restaurant. Robert was my server. He did an excellent job at every aspect serving. The food was great! I had "The Johnny" (steak & chicken w/a dallop of a lemon & goat cheese topping and sauteed spinach) and the "Scotty Thompson" (no longer on the menu but will still make if you request it). I always sit at the cooking station because of visuals. I must take away a point (not a five star) because I observed them make a pasta dish that was supposed to be minus several items but they forgot to take the items out. Instead of them giving that dish to somebody else with the completed items they picked the items out. Funny thing was we saw them doing it and the dish went to the people right in front of them. (I guess it would actually be major for somebody allergic to the items though)

The other day stopped in with my usual gluten free pasta purchased ahead of time from the market. Normally the kitchen staff will prepare with no problem at this and other locations. This time the owner of this location happened to be there. He flat out refused then gave me what seems to be a made up story about a meeting last week w corporate and not being able to do this anymore. I later visted two other locations that prepared my gluten free pasta just fine and said no such meeting happened. If he didn't want to do it fine. But as a loyal customer with years of spending my money here...it was obnoxious to lie and very annoying to give my business to the other side of town who wants it. The chain does not offer a gluten free pasta. I do not have celiac I just eat a clean, gluten free, vegetarian diet. So, it would not have been an issue either way. But it's his restaurant to do whatever he pleases. One less customer for him to be concerned about.....I really don't think he cares...,,the location gets plenty of business. But those who are with gluten issues stay away altogether because the things he said to me....leads me to believe there isn't much care in the kitchen.

Service slow, shrimp and scallops tiny portion for 19 bucks, get the shrimp diablo appetizer for 9 bucks with a side dish and be satisfied and whole lot less expensive.

I just left Carrabba's, and had some of the best Italian food I've ever had. The chicken Parmesan, with a Caesar salad was prepared perfectly, and tasted like It cost more than I spent. The environment was much better than that of Olive Garden, as well as the food. Definitely will be coming back here when I'm in the area.

This is the second time I've eaten here and everything is great- food & service. The portions fine for me but may be too much for others. No worries because they offer smaller portions for some of the dishes. I had the Chicken Bryan and its full of flavor. I recommend it!

I been to this restaurant many times but not in a long time. There use to be appetizer called Shrimp Scampi with Garlic Bread which was not in the menu anymore. They actually made the entree even though it was not in the menu. The SHRIMP SCAMPI is amazing the sauce is really amazing. For my main I had RIGATONI MARTINO but asked for little more spicy which made it a lot better. The noodle is huge and chewy but it was good the sauce is awesome. We also had COZZE IN BIANCO its muscle in a creamy sauce its also very good. There ZUCCHINI FRITTE actually looks like french fries. Nice little finger food for appetizer.

So far, service has been horrendous. I can understand a 65-70 min wait on a Saturday night, but waiting 20 mins after being seated for water is ridiculous. Manager looks very nervous and distraight. I will let you know how the food compares to others.

Never been to a Carrabba's. Loved the Salmon with chopped tomato topping. We had a seasoned veteran waitress named Emmalee. Should have tipped her more than 20%. She will go far in life. The restrooms were extremely well kept and elegant. Always a good sign of a quality restaurant. We will be back. Hope we can ask for Emmalee.

I've eaten here a few times and I must say that the tag pic pac is fantastic as well as the bread and oil mixture they serve. I cannot get enough of it. If you're a vegan, or not, definitely order the tag pic pac, without meat of course. Before I was vegan, I had their Alfredo. I can't recall what the name was but I didn't think it was that great and it had sweet peas or green peas in which I found odd and did not like.

Refused to take a lunch order for 18 people without 24 hours notice. Olive Garden will do it with no complaint. If you need lunch for multiple people, use Olive Garden.

The service was ok but the food needs to be of better quality. We ordered the mozzarella sticks which were fried in burnt grease. We complained to the waiter but he didn't remove them from the tab. I had the salmon with shrimp, scallops and mashed potatoes.... it was just ok for a last minute dinner. I will not be back.

to write this review I will compare this carrabas with my other 3 experiences with different locations - as others have posted it is a chain and I feel that the food should be judged against their other sites and not necessarily other restaurants whether chain or individually owned - with that being said this experience was hands down the best I've been to as far as food and the service was not bad either - our server, zemen, was prompt and respectful - never allowing our drinks to get empty and kept the flow of food from appetizer to entrée flawless - and she did this with a large party of 13 being sat right after us in her section (very impressive) the food: our calamari was typical with the other sites and took an extended time to reach the table but our salads and entrées were served prompt and delicious (i had the Mahi wulfe and the wife had fettuccine weezi) - we both passed on desert due to being stuffed from the main course overall my experience was above average and the reason for the four stars

Salmon, calamari or veal don't matter what mood you are on, the food is always the best! We are going on the ladies night out. It's just a great atmosphere and the desert is unbelievable deliciously fricking good. Thank you!

Consistency is everything and Carrabas has it all down pat. We got in for an early dinner on a week day. Naturally this franchise has a large and varied menu with specials. I had a spaghetti wood grilled chicken combo.....maybe a bit safe and predictable but good nevertheless.....by the way the calamari appetizer at Carrabas is better than that of any other chain (faint praise perhaps).

Just an OKAY franchise-- in particular the food at this location. Not very flavorful or bold the two times I have been here. 2 stars for the food for my 2 attempts of liking Carabba's. If you can't enjoy and indulge, why bother returning for a third time? Service was exceptional though for the busy evening I dined in with friends.

Carrabba's has been at this location for quite some time now, and this was the second time in about 6 years I have been. The location is so-so, but is close to Discover Mills and the rest of the monstrous county they call Gwinnett. Came here with one of my sisters and her 2 kids and our mom. When we first walked up, I liked the idea of the plush, large patio chairs to sit in and wait (but thankfully for us, we didn't have to). When you enter, there is a large single door, a random portico, and then you enter the restaurant (thankfully, they do have the seating outside, I can see this place get crowded. The host stand is to the right, and not straight ahead. There is a large bar on the right side, with 2 communal tables. The open kitchen is on the back wall, and dining covers the rest. This place was recently renovated, which I give kudos, but I personally feel they have an identity crisis (I will explain later)... Got seated near the kitchen, so I tried to snag a few pics... I got the menu and I noticed- this place is not cheap, or moderate for that fact- I can see people dropping big bucks easily. Hell, we ordered a "Large" mozzarella that included only 6 sticks that were lukewarm at best. The marinara was flavorful, but unfortunately to chunky to stay on the damn stick- almost a waste of $8.9(as they labeled their items, omitting the last number). Since I figured this dinner wouldn't be cheap, I ordered a $18 rib plate, which only had 6 bones. They were precut, but still it was little meat. It came with mash and zucchini as well- and a salad. At least it was seasoned. The bread kept coming out, but the small loaves were being consumed by the children left and right. After eating my food, my nephews food, and some of my sister's food, I was still hungry (please don't think I am a glutton, portions were small). So I got a 7$ cheesecake with cherries. It was alright, but I was STILL hungry. I mean shit, I either have a hollow leg, or this food has no calories! Thankfully, or server was friendly and somewhat quick, but I still caught on to the gimmick they play. If you can gimmick me and I don't notice, more power to you, but when I pick up on it before I even get seated (they have a wine display up front that looks real sleek, and the middle bottle is a Newman's Own, why didn't they just put a box wine there?). The high cost for the small portions don't to it for me at a place that is supposed to be categorized as "family Italian". The cheap wines with the upscale decor doesn't do it for me either. I will say though at least the food they did make had flavor, I just don't think I will be coming back to check it out. I noticed from other reviews about how a manager coming by to check on us, they never did with our table, just an FYI (not that it broke my heart he/she didn't)... From a business standpoint though, I have to give Carrabba's a kudos if they have that strong of a fan base with the value border lining a "C/D"

This is my absolute favorite place!! We come here maybe 2-4 times a month! I order the same exact thing every single time and that's the Chicken Brian!! It's just soo delicious and full of flavor!! My family is very picky and needy and our waiter/waitress is always sooo very nice and helpful! The service this wonderful and so is the food! And for dessert the tiramisu!

Been coming to this location for many years. It used to be really good. Now the staff (including management) seems more concerned with socializing with the customers than making sure everyone gets good quality food and good service. It's a shame - used to be a good place.

I usually don't tend to write reviews on chain restaurants, however I felt strongly about writing a review specifically intended for this location (2030 Sugarloaf Circle). There are a ton of different italian restaurant chains here in Atlanta, but personally, I feel that Carrabba's is one of the best ones out there. I specifically enjoy dining at this location because we always tend to receive exceptional service. Personally, I feel that you are choosing to pay for the service when you dine out so I expect nothing less. Our servers have always been attentive to our needs and for example, would refill our drinks before we even asked for refills. This kind of service stands out and it does not go unappreciated! As far as the food goes, I generally like to stick with what I like so I usually order the chicken marsala or pasta weesie. As I have never been to Italy, I couldn't tell you how "authentic" the food tastes, but I enjoy it. :) I also enjoy their calamari - which btw - you need to ask for the special sauce. I believe it comes with a marinara sauce but if you ask for the other sauce, which seems to consist of lemon & butter, it is absolutely delicious. I appreciate that the calamari isn't dry and over-fried, like most places. My favorite dishes to date are the Chicken Marsala, Pasta Weesie and Tag Pic Pac. Overall, the price is well worth the quality of the food and is fairly inexpensive for the amount of food you do get. To top it off, the restaurant is always clean, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely.

Really dissapointed in this place. Came here with a couple other ppl and had horrible service. Our waitress came out and brought our drinks. After about 20 mins we called another server to come because she never came back. Long story short we had 4 diff waiters that night that took our drink orders and never came back. We walked out after about an hour. Horrible experince

Today's Monday special for $12: Hot bread with olive oil/garlic, appetizer (I got good fried calamari), soup or salad (I got the Caesar's salad) and main dish (I had a big portion of "4 formaggi ravioli"). Nice, quiet place, excellent service (Carlton was very attentive) and quick.

I like the mussels here, and can eat a whole bowl myself. Their pasta dishes are pretty good as well, and they make a decent martini. Saw they opened up in Cumming, but haven't checked that out yet...the reviews from fellow yelpers haven't been as good.

Best Italian restaurant in Gwinnett. I still am amazed at how this still is a franchise, yet their ingredients and dishes far surpass even some great family owned Italian restaurants. They are the best example of American Italian Cuisine and should not ever be compared to beside the poor excuses for American Italian food (Macaroni Grill, Olive Garden, Johnny Carenos) It's as if Carrabba's really cares about how they serve their customers by offering new dishes and sculpting a menu that is top notch. This location happens to be a step above any other I have ever visited. The management makes it a point to offer a great staff with consistent dishes with a taste of perfection. I highly recommend!

Update - very close to Gwinnett Arena - service is outstanding. I frequent this location with friends and business clients regularly and am consistently pleased. Freshly prepared food. Attentive service. Comfortable bar. Well-priced. The entrees are very generous portions, but if you want lighter fare, the pizzas or the bar menu are the way to go. Never had a bad experience. If you like mussels, try them here!

Yesterday was my daughters junior prom. A big day indeed, this is her favorite place, soi did call ahead seating hoping they would have enough time to make to prom. We arrived early they were seated promptly, great service great food as always! I have never had a bad meal here and I am a foodie, so for a chain I drive past many others to come here. The food is well thought, properly prepared even the salads are great. Thanks carrabs Duluth for helping to make a special night special!!!

This is actually for the Carrabba's that just recently opend in Cumming on Peachtree Parkway in The Avenue retail center area. I'm just not a chain fan, this was actually my second visit both were probably parallel as far as food and service. We went on a Saturday night it seemed very busy but took no time to get seated however the waiter did take some time getting to our table and food seemed to take a little longer than it should have to arrive at our table. Our table had kid's pepperoni pizza, antipasta sampler (appetizer with fried calamari, bruschetta, and fried mozzerella) and almond crusted talapia with mashed potatoes. The antipasta sampler was "meh", the clamari was decent but the bruschetta and fried mozzerella was sub par even for a chain. The pizza was just blah, nothing to write home about. My dinner mate enjoyed the almond roasted talapia and I must agree it was pretty good. This would not be my first choice for a dinner night out but it is good for family/kids and never a wait to be seated. It is a brand new location so the decor is nice but the food IMO is lacking...

Went here with co-workers at the bosses suggestion. Decent as usual for a national chain. Had the Pasta Carrabba and it was a smaller portion than usual. Service was good Parking can get tight if the Arena Tavern has a big crowd.

Oh man, this place is so awesome. The food is the bomb. I ordered steak panini with tomato cucumber salad. MAN! It was sooooooooooOOoo good!! The steak was high quality and cooked to perfection. The bread used was phenomenal. My mouth is watering right now just describing the panini. Even the salad is out of this world. This place is always busy and that speaks for itself! I will be back :0)

It is a chain, nothing special, but not bad. I was staying in a hotel close so it is a safe bet. Typical chain Italian food, it was ok but you probably shouldn't take you your Italian grandmother here. I thought it was ok and the prices are ok for this type of place.

I love that oak burning smell from the grill when you enter this joint. Service has always been good here, whilst food has been decent. My chicken always comes out dry for some reason and the pasta is always Al dente :) Maybe i'll give it another chance and stop on by.

Great dining experience here during a work trip. Decent amount of space and great tasty food selection. Would definitely come here again.

Dined here7/24/13. Had the fried zucchini with marinara sauce as an appetizer. It was lightly breaded and scrumptious! Next came the house salad with the fresh bread served with their oil. I had to force myself to stop after 3 pieces of bread. For my entree, I had the chicken Bryan with angel hair pasta and marinara.. The chicken was very moist and well seasoned and the pasta was perfect. I had plenty to bring home for later. Dessert was Rosa cake which is a very moist cake with fresh fruit and cream - light and heavenly. My service was excellent and every suggestion my server gave me was right on the mark. A delightful meal!

First, let me start off by saying that I am in LOVE with their blackberry sangria!!!! Sometimes I feel as if I almost want to order a whole picture of it to myself!!!! I've been to this location twice, and it is pretty much like the others, everyone is friendly and the food comes out in a timely fashion and tastes great!!! If you haven't before, you have GOT to try the blackberry sangria :-)

This is my second time to Carrabba's and I really enjoyed the food. I went there during the dinner time, and the ambiance was very refreshing and calming in a dim light setting. They served some bread with olive oil as a complimentary starter. I've tried a couple of their dishes there, and they were all well prepared. I would say their food are more authentic than Olive Garden, that's probably why their prices are slightly higher. Nonetheless, this is a great place for some Italian food.

Not that spectacular. Go to carino's or luciano's

This was my 3rd time at a Carrabba's and I was never impressed until now. We had a wonderful server (Elisa) she was so attentive-especially to our 3 year old. She even bought her some pizza dough to play with and even boxed it up for her. Its impressive when a server listens to the child and engages her-it doesn't take much ..but it meant a lot to me at least. I liked her suggestion for the drink (raspberry limoncello martini).honestly i came in with a living social coupon and expected an attitude or some kind of disappointment and didn't get either, just really good service. the lobster ravioli was DEEEELISH..i wish their was a family style plate bc i would eat it all by myself.... the steak ...ehh... hubby had the pollo rosa maria and enjoyed his mean....not impressed with the caesar salad but my husband really loves their calamari.I even tasted the spaghetti and meatball and that was pretty d#$# good for a kids menu item .. we will be back :-) come to think of it....the entire staff greeted us once we walked in from employees just standing around and i think maybe a manager..but it was inviting from the beginning..

    The manager is the best... He is great at checking your table or making sure that the assistant manager greets your table while you dine. This is our favorite all time restaurant. Everything is excellent and up to specs you will not have to eighty six anything, they take it to another level at this store. I have been to other stores in NY and FL and the specs are greater here..;

Carrabba's Italian Grill is my go to place for an Italian meal. I wouldn't say the menu is authentic as there is a good bit of fusion with American style cooking. Here, the quality is far more superior then your traditional Olive Garden. The menu here isn't quite as extensive as Olive Garden nor Maggiano's, but whatever they do here, they do it pretty darn well. For appetizers, I usually go with the fried calamari (ask for both sauce). Its fried and tasty. Everyone at the table will love it. I am absolutely obsessed with their lentil and sausage soup. For entree, I usually stick to my Pasta Weezie. The dish is your basic Shrimp Alfredo with a hint of lemon, mushroom and peas. I do like the Salmon on the menu too. It is cooked perfectly every time. For dessert, I always go with the Chocolate dream cake. Layers of brownie cake with whip cream and melted chocolate. If you love chocolate, this is a MUST. For drinks, they have a pretty good selection of wine and cocktails. For me, their sangria is the best in town. I have tried plenty but I always go back to carrabba's to get my sangria cravings.

Love the fillet! Very tender. Perfectly cooked to my request. The wait is long but worth it!

I love Carrabba's and last night was no different. I went to a tasting there of some of their new menu items and I loved everything I tried. I started off with a Caesar salad which I had never had before, it was great. I forgot the exact name of the next item but it was like a chicken parmigiana slider, also great followed by ribs that were falling off the bone and really good. I would have never thought I could go to Carrabba's and not get pasta but now it's a possibility after how much I enjoyed the other items I tried. I still need to go back soon and get my pasta though.

A chain run like a classy, family owned bistro! Years ago I did not like the Carrabba's chain. This particular location changed my mind and brought me back. Of course some credit must go to a much improved and modernized Carrabba's menu with regular specials and improvements. Great salads, soups, a wide range of creative multi-course options and desserts, coffees, cappuccinos, wines, beers and more. Love that chicken Gratella...now known as simply grilled chicken. Physically the new menus mimic those from $100 per person restaurants -- very classy. But the ambiance and management here give this a much more sophisticated feel than other Italian chains. Regulars are recognized and favored tables remembered. Wait staff is professional and low turnover, giving the place a very familiar local feel. Timing of meal courses is impeccable and, having been here regularly for years now, I can say that I have never been disappointed with the food preparation. Management mingles among the tables, not just for show, but to ensure that their high standards are being met. Phone reservations and carry-out is available. We typically spend around $20 to $25 per person here depending on the wine, coffee and dessert decisions. A terrific value given the quality and ambiance. A great training program must be in place because everyone here does their job well. First rate all the way and highly recommended as better than several nearby alternatives. Right off I-85 at the Sugarloaf Parkway exit for the Gwinnett Arena. Bit of a tricky weird little service road entrance by a Chick-fi-A restaurant and Hilton Garden Inn.

This location seems to be in steady decline. I have been here at least 3 different times within the last year where I have been served an ice-cold plate of food that should have been HOT. My husband took me out for my birthday Saturday and it was terrible. Our waiter was on another planet. When someone came by to ask how things were going and I told him, it was a waste of time. People don't spend money to go out and get served cold food.

Carrabba's has always been a family favorite. I found this location has an exceptional level of friendliness amongst the staff. The ravioli and house salad required a 'do over' visit from me today. And on the way out? the hostess insisted I take a coupon for a discount on my next visit. Refreshing to see great service alive and well even in a chain restaurant. Thank you Carrabba's for making my trip away from home feel not so far away...

The service is great the food IS NOT..I went there with my friend because I have never been and I was impressed with the service..Wine while you wait outside..kool we sat and I ordered a stuffed pasta to my surprise it was horrid..I sent it back,,Thank God I ordered an appetizer. Second time I went was for bf birthday..he never had it and figured OK lets try it..I warned him.. I ordered a dish with alfredo sauce and he ordered something similar..I must say they were both horrible. The sauces were not seasoned and they are plain out watery.. I will def stick to Olive Garden for pastas. On the other hand our waiter was awesome..sad we sent the food back..but he still got his deserving tip so we didn't feel so bad after that.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
